He thinks I'm fighting him or anything. He I don't know. He has treated me like garbage. I have tried so much to [ __ ] make this work, meaning our relationship. So, if I [ __ ] up, okay, my bad. And I'm trying to de-escalate this [ __ ] And I'm sorry, I'm cussing. >> That's all right. So, you guys have been arguing. >> Yep. >> And he walked out of the house to kind of get away from you. You followed him. >> And it really was my bad to do that [ __ ] >> And you said that So, what we what we heard on what we heard on the phone was what we heard on the phone was somebody saying that, you know, people were hitting each other. You've got blood on your finger there. >> It was an accident though because >> What happened with that? >> was going upstairs, I guess I was like trying to grab his arm and it just cuz it was long. So, I just I guess I hit his arm, but it wasn't like intentional. >> Okay. And he just got cut a little bit by your finger. >> cut a little bit. Yeah. >> Okay. That's And do you have any injuries? >> No. >> No? Okay. >> I need to get some information from you, ma'am. And I need to find my glasses so I can >> Okay, we'll take a look. Stay here for me. Do you work from home? >> No. >> Where do you work out of? Okay. All right. So, has somebody taken somebody's phone? Cuz that's what that's what our dispatch was hearing over the phone call. >> phones are under my name. >> Okay, which phone was it? >> Both of them. >> Well, which phone was >> Oh, I was trying to take the one that was his, but they're mine. >> Okay. Well, I'll I'll tell you this, even if you pay for the phones you you can't take his phone from him. That's his property, okay? I understand that you make the payments on it, but if it's his phone, you can't take it from him, okay? >> It's mine, so. >> Well, in the eyes of the law, you just told me that it's not. Even though you may pay for it, it's phone commonly used by him. You just referred to it as his phone. So, if you take that phone >> Oh, so you're saying I should give it back? >> Yeah. >> After I pay everything? >> Is that phone in your pocket his? >> It is, yeah. You want me to give it back after he even broke it? He broke it. Like he broke it. >> Okay. >> And he had finished breaking mine. >> Where's your phone at? >> Broken. Officer. >> Ma'am, stay here. Stop Stop walking in the road. >> No, I'm just trying I'm not trying to walk on the road. I'm trying to just get my glasses. >> you to stay here. I told you to stay here numerous times. Just stay here. Where are your glasses? >> I don't know. I'm trying to find them, officer. >> we can look for them here a minute, but just walking through the road >> So, that's all I'm trying to do. >> Okay. I don't know. >> Okay. Deputy Frost will take a look for them, okay? >> Okay. Um They have like um brown, maybe like dark brown and light brown, but I don't know. Like I said, maybe they're already broken. I don't know if it's already Do you see stuff on me? >> The only thing I saw was just that little bit of blood on your fingernail. That's it. Should you have injuries? Did he hit you at all today? >> I don't know. He just pushed up. >> He pushed you? When did that happen? At the house or out here out in the street or what? >> Just here. >> Why did he >> maybe to evade the situation. >> Why did he push you? >> too being like stubborn, I guess. He tried to like >> Was she trying to push you away from him? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, he wasn't trying to push you to knock you down. >> Well, it was a little bit of both. Cuz I mean, he said it out loud. He's like, "If you don't come, I'm going to knock her out." So, I don't know. >> Okay. What's your plan for the rest of the day? >> You know what? My plan for the rest of the day was to spend the day with my children and have a [ __ ] good weekend. >> Okay. Are the kids at home right now? >> Yes, they're sleeping. >> How old are they? >> 15 and 5. >> Okay. Have you guys been up all night? >> You know what? Just stay right here, okay? >> I'm here. >> What's he saying? >> What? >> What's he saying? >> That it wasn't with her little boy. That it was a park when he tried to walk out of that house. She was blocking him in and scratched him. Grabbed his arm and scratched him. >> She's got a blown out finger nail from it. >> Okay. So, >> I think I can break this down to what she said to you guys. She walked up the stairs or something like that. She went to grab one of his arms. She's got a blown out finger nail. >> Cuz he grabbed his chest. >> I said so something matches up. >> The um When I did walk up I did a [ __ ] yell at him. And I see I got in his face and he like raised his arm. But he didn't That's when I got in between them. That's where you're at. And you smashed the phone. >> He said it's his. >> I got the phone. >> She said it's his. >> That's what he said. >> She said she pays for it and all that. So, she's trying to fight that it's hers and she can keep it and she owns it. >> Um there is a 15-year-old at the house. >> Yeah, she said that. But her 15-year-old is sleeping and her 5-year-old is sleeping. What do you want to do here? I mean I mean if we leave them they're going to be [ __ ] fighting again. Was the scratch a deliberate scratch or >> She said that it was unintentional but grabbing his arm was unintentional. >> Have him go. >> I'm going to take his cell phone back. >> And then have him step on or those his slides. >> I don't They were walking. Uh >> Well, they also started here and they were at the church at one point they said. >> Oh, really? Are these your slides back here, your sandals? >> Yeah, they're the ones that she had in her hand. >> Oh, on the on the ground. Is it Is that his jacket, ma'am? >> Uh it's mine but I gave it to him. >> So, you gave him the jacket? >> Yep. >> Okay. >> It's his property, too. You said his jacket is in >> I got it. >> Yeah. Can I have my jacket, please? >> Yeah, you said that's his jacket. Can you take the jacket off, please, ma'am? >> Okay. That's fine. I will take that. Can I go home? >> Not yet. So, what's going to happen if you both go back home right now? Is this fight just going to continue? >> You know what, officer? I don't want this fight to continue. I don't. >> Did you want it to start? >> No. >> And it still did, right? >> It did, but unfortunately he never wants to listen to me. Again, like I don't want him to go away from my house or our house. No, that's not what I'm trying to prove. Do you think I want to set that example to our child? No. >> Need what? >> You're not getting the keys. >> Do you have a truck key? >> It's my truck. >> Okay, is that Is that the truck that he uses? >> It's under the title's under my name. >> He's in the road. >> So >> So, I understand the truck's in your name, kind of like the cell phone. Is this the truck that he commonly uses? >> No. >> We both use We only have one car. We both do it. >> Okay. >> I use it basically What is it? I have 80 plus dollars over there. >> Okay. >> In the car. >> So, you're free to go from the scene. If she's not going to give back the keys, you guys are married, there's not much we can do to it. Uh if I can get the keys from her, I'll bring them to you, okay? >> So, what's going to happen with her daughter that is over there? I mean, he's not my daughter. >> Okay. >> I just have my son over there. She's the one responsible for that daughter. >> Okay, and you're not >> I mean, I don't I don't mind her. It's It's Yeah, it's my daughter, but I mean >> Okay. >> What am I going to say if she's over there? I mean, she asked me. >> Well, she'll be back tomorrow.
