Okay. of the building. >> want to do, you're taking over right now. So I need the guy's info. That's Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The Are there cameras in here? They're all fine. Thank you, guys. Holy. That scared the hell out of me, but the My alarm didn't go off. Did you guys get notice? No, we got a notice that your alarm went off. Cuz I didn't hear anything. It's a silent alarm. >> Yeah, I didn't know. Cuz it's my alarm that goes like It goes like a tornado siren. What did he do exactly? I mean, what happened? I What did he do? >> No, no, what he do? What I mean, what happened? >> So, he came up Thank you for doing that. He came up with an with a with a serious attitude. >> Okay. Which happens out here all the time. And I'm like I go, "Sir, just I go, sit in the back. We're going to deal with you last." >> Okay. And he told me you Thank you. You okay? Yeah, I was going to take him out alone. I understand. You did an amazing job trying to de-escalate that guy. So, um Came up attitude. Can I go out and talk to you? Damn the camera. This is yours? Yeah, but what would you like me to tell them? Yeah, tell them we're good. That's That's That's everything's fine. Can you uncag all these, please? I need to take these with me. How much should I turn off the camera? That's okay. Yeah. Oh, okay. After hearing the judge's side of the story, the officers switched their focus to the witnesses who were present in the courtroom. Just in a nutshell, what what happened? >> Basically, he was already in the courtroom as well, came to the courtroom with an attitude and stuff. And then the judge called him and said, "Hey, you know what you're here for." He already had like a chip on his shoulder like you know. You know, just on some BS. And so then the judge told him, "Okay, well He didn't like how his response was. The The judges didn't like how he responded, so he was like "You'll be last. Just go back to Go back and sit back in the back." And he's like And he just came up and said, "I'm not sitting nowhere. You don't tell me what to do." And that's when Oh, he told that to the judge? "You don't tell me what to say to the back." I said, "Whatever I want to say basically." They're all the stuff I wrote down. What did you What did you see or hear? Well, we saw from the point that he walked in the door up to the point where the officer inside the courtroom grabbed him and when the judge said everybody out. What happened after he walked in? After he walked in, he walked in like if he was the owner of the of the owner of the courtroom. Mhm. Like all all high and everything. Um and then he just um he checked in and then he sat down. And then you know, when the judge came in and called him, he told him that um that he didn't have He was like, "You didn't have insurance on this eighth car." He's like, "Like do you have insurance now?" "No." "Do you plan on getting insurance?" "I'll try." He's like, "No, you're not going to try. You have to." He's like, "You You can't tell me what to do." And from there it just started. And then he's like, "You know what? I'm not going to talk with you. I'm going to go ahead and put you in the back. Go sit down." He didn't want to go sit down. He started talking and um then the judge just told the bailiff, "Uh you know what? Arrest him." And that's when he was like, "No, I have my rights. You can't arrest me. You have to tell me what I did, what I did. You're You're in contempt." And he just kept saying that he had his right, that it was not right for him for the judge to go ahead and hold him. That he could not He could not be touched, that he had He was a free man. He was He had his own freedom. He said, "I have my rights, that you can't touch me. You have to tell me why why you arresting me." And he was like, "You have to tell me what you need to tell me. I already told you." "No, you didn't tell me." I'm guessing he was He was agreeing for his Miranda rights to be said to him or something. I don't know, but he kept saying, "You You haven't told me what I need to hear. You haven't told me what I need to hear." And from there that's when they told us, "Okay, everybody out." All right, everyone, you guys can be moved back into the court. And you saw the the struggle that went on? The From the bailiffs and the officers, but after that they kicked us out, so we didn't see that much. Um but when we um we were standing outside in the waiting area and we were getting they were getting ready to go ahead and bring him out. That's when they started and he just saw him trying to hit one of the officers. The officer holding him back and he was holding onto the bar yelling, "Help me. Help me." Okay. >> And that was it. Okay. What's your first name? It's Myron. It's Myron. Just cooperate and it'll go fast. You'll be out of here. You know, we got to take you to Lake County Jail. >> my mouth like, you know, like I mean, it's I got it. Just relax, okay? Relax. We'll go in, cooperate, be good. I'll get you a glass of water. Okay? We got to do some paperwork right now, okay? Unfortunately, you're going to have some charges from Lake County. And you're going to have some charges from Alpha. So, we'll tell you everything when we're going. Why is that? Because you wouldn't listen to the judge. I mean, the judge was disrespectful and rude to me. >> That's why you have your day to go to court and you can explain your case, okay? We'll give you a court date and everything, okay? But you You need You need to You need to relax. I'm relaxed. I I didn't I wasn't disrespectful or anything. >> okay. Stay back. I just wanted to be understanding. I just want to know what's going on. And nobody wanted to explain to me, you know, and and I just wanted to talk, you know? And when I wanted to speak, he just sent me to the back. Like, go away, sit in the back. And why didn't you go sit all the way in the back? Cuz I mean, he was rude from the start to me. >> But he's judge. He's in charge of the courthouse. But that doesn't mean somebody got to be rude towards you. You can always file a complaint against the judge if he's rude. You know what I'm saying? Like any businesses. If you think the judge disrespected you, I'm pretty positive Lake County has a form you can call. Unfortunately, he's the ultimate authority in the courtroom. So, whatever he says goes. So, it wasn't the time right there. Even if he tells us something, we got to do it. Even if we don't like it, okay? That's the way it goes. Unfortunately, you got to follow the rules and the laws. Okay? Like if you have any problems in the way he treated you, all you have to do go sit all the way in the back. >> Everything's under uh and camera and everything. >> They have videos, I guess. Yeah. criminal charges because he resisted the police. So, when we tell you you're under arrest, you can't you can't You can't be I wasn't Nobody read my my uh rights. Nobody told me We're trying to cuff you, my friend. We're trying to place you under arrest. I asked you guys before or somebody got to tell No, that's not how it works. It's not uh Instagram or TikTok and everything. No, I'm asking you cuz I mean that's what No. No, it's it's at the end. So, only if you got to question you. And then the thing too is that a couple of officers got hurt. You punched me and you punched the other officer. Nobody. That's why you got to You punched that guy. Everything should be under the camera, right? Yeah, everything. I mean, I I was just resisting. But you have charges on both. And then the the judge is also going to hold you in contempt. So, you going to have to go to Waukegan. So, you're going to have charges from Lake County and you have charges from Park City. Right. So, if you want to go everything to go fast, we'll go in, we'll do some paperwork, I'll give you a glass of water and everything. We'll take you in and we'll be done. You don't have to sign anything. Just be cool with them. That's it. Just be cool. I'm cool, but I mean I I I I I didn't So, we're going to go in. Hey, Ismael. We're going to go in, I'll get you a glass of water, we'll get everything done so you can go, okay? All right, sit back. After the pointless struggle, Ismael was arrested and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting arrest, and contempt of court.
