On April 6th, 2025, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex after a woman called 911 claiming her husband was beating her. Apparently, the married couple was going to town when suddenly a fight broke out. He started choking her, kicked her in the head, and some teeth were smashed. By the time officers arrive, the guy is hiding in the upstairs bedroom, waiting for the storm to blow over. Police open the door right now. Yeah. Yeah, he just locked it. It was unlocked. After getting that figured out, Rusty was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery and resisting arrest. As for his wife, after allegedly helping hide her husband, a follow-up investigation is coming her way for lying about his whereabouts and hindering the investigation.
