That's been a loan that I am not in agreement with. >> Okay. >> I'm like, "Go over there. Go over there. Talk to them." She's been over there for maybe now I don't know how long. Maybe 20 minutes. >> Okay. >> But the thing is, they have left this dog by themselves for days at a time. He doesn't have any >> Okay. >> That's not okay. >> Okay, so you want to go get your daughter? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay, let's go get your daughter. We're going to make sure she's okay, too. Go on. And anymore. >> So your daughter's here at the house? >> Yes, she's in there. >> Did they give him a Did they give her a key or >> No, at all of it. They don't talk to me about anything, but they're like, "Hey, you take care of my dog." But then my daughter's like, "I can't do it, okay." And then I have to go over here, AND I DON'T WANT TO DO IT. She gets drunk all the time. >> [laughter] >> And she keeps touching them like this is animal abuse when they take really good care of us. Her dad is a police officer. I've seen her take care of her dog and he's a good dog. >> What happened between you and your mom tonight? >> What? >> What happened between you and your mom tonight? >> Um so she was texting me saying that she was drunk. And she was like, "It's animal abuse what you're doing. I'm going to call the cops and it's not, you know. Um and I I tried to um she came in and she was like, "Look at your phone, disrespect." And that's it. Listen. >> Did you get physical with your daughter? >> No. >> No. >> Listen. >> Is there a reason why your daughter is saying that you got physical with her? >> I am pissed off about the dog that has been left here. >> Mhm. >> I don't think it's okay. I have never hurt my daughter. She is okay. >> Okay, can you stay with this officer for a sec? >> Okay. >> Okay, let's go talk over here. >> Okay. >> You don't have to get on the gravel if you don't have shoes on. >> Um, it's okay. >> Okay. So, tell me more about her getting physical with you. >> Um, okay. So, she gets physical with me a lot. >> A lot? >> Yeah. Um, but it's happened ever since like first grade, I think. Like, I'm always scared to get in the principal's office because it it's so I think my dad called the cops on her once. >> Mhm. >> Um, and I had to stay at um another house >> Mhm. >> um because she was like basically abusing me and I I feel comfortable with her at all. >> Mhm. And And today, can you tell me how it got physical again? Where you guys were in the house, stuff like that. Why you guys were fighting. >> Okay, so I was in the bathroom and I was doing my hair because it's curly and I don't like it. And um my my mom came in and just I heard her like I'm texting my my my friend um cuz it said text to speech and she came in and um she was like, "Look at your friend's disrespect." And then it was basically her So she called my friend a [ __ ] and she was like, "You're calling a child a bitch." And um she she um I tried she gave me the phone so I tried to hide it because I didn't want her to like do anything else, right? And um I held it to my chest and I had my iPad, too. And she started She started hitting at the back of my head and then she started like ripping like not ripping but >> Was it all this Was all this in the bathroom? >> Yeah. And then I ran down the hall and um uh she kept pulling my hair and I was screaming. And then I got on I like pulled myself to the couch and she still had a grip on my hair and I was like kicking her. And then she finally let go and I kicked her again and then I ran to the bathroom and tried and I didn't lock myself in there but I ran back there. >> Okay. And once you ran back there then you came over here. All right. Do you have any marks or anything on you? >> Uh >> She was hitting your the back of your head. >> I don't think so. >> Where else did she hit you besides the back of your head? >> Um well she ripped at my hand like my things but I don't have any marks because >> Do you have any pain on your head? >> Yeah, a little. She's my best friend ever. >> And that dog never has any attention. >> He gets a lot of attention. Me and Macy play with him almost every day. >> Mhm. Want 27 attention. >> Because the dog wasn't taken care of. And they took her and charged her with child abuse. >> Careful. You can get warm inside. I just may need to make a phone call, okay? Mhm. >> Hi, how are you, ma'am? Well, I'm back on patrol, so I'll be calling you later tonight. >> [laughter] >> And I have a big problem with that because they don't talk to me at all.
