On February 22nd, 2025, a routine police stop took an unexpected turn when a mother challenged officers at nearly every step. >> Kids in the house. >> We have kids in the house, bro. They were fighting and my husband, he came out and he said, "Hey, like we had like can you guys stop?" And they started yelling at us. And then they started uh uh fighting with my husband. And then they And then they uh >> Yeah, the one that's like corner house. >> And then they uh >> They were beating somebody [ __ ] up outside. >> Yeah, they started Yeah, they started beating >> So I came out here real quick. So my son comes out here to tell them to keep it down. They tell him, "Fuck you. [ __ ] off." Whatever. Let's get into the kind of like the main thing of what happened. So you I know you guys had a dispute earlier. >> So I come out. This is not a dispute earlier. This just happened. >> Yeah, and and I I understand that, but I know there was something else earlier with you too. >> Oh, yeah. They They were across the street shot the dog. >> Okay. >> So >> So um I wasn't involved with this. >> Okay. So what happened? >> So I had nothing to do with this. Um so I come out and tell my son to calm down, come inside. These [ __ ] guys come out and say, "Fuck you." And so I tell my son off and I hear him click the gun, right? >> Okay. What did the gentleman look like with the firearm? >> He There's two There's two of them. There's one guy with a black shirt, blue jeans. >> Black shirt, blue jeans. >> Uh like curly hair, kind of. The other guy had a uh Cowboys jersey on, number 22, and a cowboy hat on. >> Okay. >> And I I believe he's the one that had the the gun. >> Okay. And then what happened with the other guy? >> Well, the two more came and they shot two two shots at us. What happened? Well, towards this way, sir? >> No, I understand like where were you guys standing at? Where were you guys standing? >> behind my our truck. And we're trying to sleep because we all work. So, these guys >> That happened over there. We just looked to see if any of these things were struck over here. Anything else, sir? >> No, it was over there. They were down the road Where were you guys firing at? What's that? >> Yeah. One's a black shirt, hoodie-ish, curly hair, blue jeans and the other one has a cowboy shirt. >> Or a t-shirt, black. >> A black t-shirt. >> Black t-shirt and a cowboy 22 Yeah. 22 jersey. >> What's your name, sir? >> Nacho Herrera. >> Yeah, can we actually go inside? We just need a Do you mind knocking on the door and talking to these two over here? So, do you mind knocking on the door and talking to his two sons? So, they're standing out here. I guess a commotion happened brought them outside. They get in an argument with people down there. This gentleman says he hears what sounds like a gun rack, doesn't actually see a gun, and then two gunshots, and they run. That's the house last time that we took like Uh I think we found like six guns. Like four of them were stolen over there. >> Well, they just started putting them away. They were out there with the flashlights putting them in the car. >> Which car? >> A white car. >> White car? >> The white car that's closest to us. >> Nine 40 units. This 49 advises they That's three firearms inside the white car. >> And then we're I don't know what game they were saying, but the one dude was saying who he was. I don't know what what he said. Big old Jew something. And then they were saying uh >> What's your name? >> You're uh That's what they call me I just said. >> I'm sorry. There's a lot going on. I'm talking to the radio. What's your name? >> [screaming] >> And then what led you to believe they were shooting at you? Like I know you didn't see the firearm, but did you hear something >> Oh, they they pulled it out. So I saw them go like that quickly. That's how you saw them turn. Yes. >> Okay. >> But I don't know what it was. I don't know what kind of firearm it was, but like I said, and then they shot two times two times this way. >> Okay. And what's your address here? They took your phone number, too? Okay. And then these two uh individuals up here, these are your sons? >> My son and my son-in-law. >> Son and son-in-law. Okay. Of what was going on? We were watching a movie and then we just heard like like somebody arguing down in the street. And then we didn't think of nothing and then I just heard like a guy like like screaming and then like I peeked and I was like, "Oh my god, like I think they're fighting." And then he my husband went out. >> Yeah. >> And he was like, "Hey, like like we're trying to sleep, you know?" >> Mhm. >> And so they started coming at us and we're like, "Ah, like ah." >> What do you mean coming at you? >> Like they started walking towards us like trying to fight. >> last house in the >> from that Yeah, like >> How far did they make it to you guys? >> I could not go that far. They're in our and then the there was two guys and then one of the girls she was trying to talk to us like, "Hey, we don't want no problem." Same thing. I was trying to talk to her like the guys were just like arguing. Yeah, and then one of the girls she was all pointing a gun at us and then that's when I was like >> What did the girl look like? >> She has a green flannel. She had like a green flannel uh blue jeans. I don't know if it was like a red top or like it was like a dark color. But um it looked like a >> Like a shirt? >> Like a shirt but >> Underneath the flannel? >> Yeah. And she had glasses and her hair was like in a ponytail. >> And what kind of flannel >> flannel shirt did you say you saw? >> I can't tell but it it looked like just like you know like I can't tell. Can you describe it just a little bit? Kind of like yours but like a little Maybe a little smaller like a more smaller size. >> What color was it? >> Black. >> Black? >> Yeah. >> And she was pointing it at all of you guys? >> Yes, like I don't know but she was just pointing it and then my husband he like I he right away he just ducked me, you know, because he didn't want nothing. He just ducked me and I got up real quick because I wish I didn't hit him. And then she shot fired in the air. The female fired in the air. >> Yes. How many times? >> Uh once and then she once I hit and then once she got to like one two the second house the one in the middle house she shot again in the air. >> So twice here in your neighbor's yard? >> One right once I hit in our yard and then she walked away >> and she shot again. >> Okay. So one here one over there. >> Yeah. And then the guy at first that had the gun at first he he the guy that had the gun he gave it to his bro. So >> So a guy initially had the firearm and he gave it to the girl in the green flannel one? >> Yes, the one that was talking to my husband. >> What does that guy look like? >> He had a cowboy cowboy shirt on. So one of them was trying to stop it but the other one right away she pointed the gun at us. >> Okay. So there was two females but one female actually pointed >> of them yeah, she was literally trying to stop the guys too. She was trying to stop all the commotion. >> Okay. >> And um >> Was she younger or older? >> She looked like she was kind of older. Like like maybe in her 30s. >> 9440 units at the front. 49 I'm getting suspect should be a female wearing a green flannel, red top and glasses. Okay. Um real quick. And then so after they left that that was the end of it you guys called and then was it >> No, we we were already on the phone with the police >> While all this was happening? >> Yeah, and that's how we were like shots fired, shots fired and we were still like waiting for you guys. And they were that's when they when I was telling them that we're calling the cops already and then they all scattered inside. And then one of them the guys they were in they went in the white car. >> Okay. All righty then. I appreciate it. 9440 units at the front 49 I'm getting suspect should be a female wearing a 10-4. Okay. Okay, so here's the deal. What's going to happen most likely is a detective is going to come out and speak to all you guys. Yeah, from that was one of the males that had a firearm, but I'm being advised he did not commit that crime. Um, so detectives are going to want to come talk to you guys. Um, just do me a favor, don't talk about the incident or anything like that, and just kind of hang out. It's basically you just call, you let them know the reason why you're wanting them to patrol the area, and it just lets us know that we need to patrol this area more often. Obviously, if they're driving by and they're doing something like they're bothering you or harassing you, call us and that way we can deal with it. >> Well, okay, I understand that. Well, well, my question is is like obviously, if anything does happen, this guy will be coming to me.
