But, um, so you see, I' I've been seeing video after video after video coming through my feed. I watched one, so, you know, they're going to flood you with them. Uh, different creators not complaining, but complaining about YouTube's um wonderful state-of-the-art AI moderation they have handling [snorts] all their videos and their violations and their and their whatnotss. Um they did get around to throwing one at me just when you thought you were safe to start the show. Fear me in my blue what's it of death or not? Hello and welcome. Thank you Chris. Thank you for the five. Anywh who, where the hell was I? Um Oh, so the video I did a few days ago, um the chick in the roundabout got into the fender bender, you know, ritzy neighborhood. Her tatas were hanging out the entire time. I got Where the hell's the image now? There we go. Um, I got a community guidelines warning for that video for uh violating their policy on nudity. You know as well as I do. There's no nudity at all in that video. So, you submit your appeal and a few minutes later their human review that's never a human send you the exact same thing tells you to [ __ ] off because that's what YouTube does to creators nowadays. So, um I appealed it. Here's what they said. uh review an issue, took a look at your content policies. Here's an example of following guidelines. Nudity and sexual content policy uh content with nudity that's meant to be sexually grat gratifying. Pay attention in this part. Meant to be sexually gratifying isn't allowed on YouTube. This includes content that shows real animator, illustrated individuals. We may take limited exceptions for content, education, dominant, documentary, scientific or artistic what's it call it. So, what had happened was, let me find the right button. I got too much [ __ ] going on my things. Um, YouTube has a few different remedies you can take. First, you appeal it. So, like I said, I appealed it and they almost immediately told me to [ __ ] off. And, uh, one of the things you can, um, uh, edit the video, clip that part out. I clipped that out. Still waiting to hear back from that. it's not going to matter because, you know, it's the same non-issue on the entire video. Um, also side note, the original video is still up and so is the video everyone else did covering the video that I covered that got the violation for. So, one of the things you can do is take their um community guidelines school to to be able to get the warning or strike removed from your channel after 90 days. So, I'm like, "Sure, I'll do that. That I've done those before. They're really easy. It's no big deal. So, this one is specific to YouTube's nudity policy. And I learned some things that I didn't know in this class actually cuz it's just a few questions. They post the policy on one side of the screen and then on the other there's a question like a hypothetical and you answer does this violate, does this not? Uh does it violate because of this or does it violate because of that? So, some things I learned that I didn't know. These are some questions that I got wrong by the way. Uh if I can remember the scenarios properly. Um, one of them, a woman is doing a vlog or whatever at a protest. There's nude people at the protest. Uh, she goes up to interview some of the nude people at the protest. Uh, yada yada yada. Um, does this violate? And the answers were like, "Yes, it violates because of nudity. Uh, no, it doesn't violate because um because of the context, because it wasn't sexual, because it was a news story or whatever, you know, different questions like that." So apparently you're allowed to show nudity on YouTube as long as it's not sexual, even though my video had neither nudity nor sexuality. Um, also this is also allowed apparently. Um, there's one of the video of some kids or whatever filming whatever kind of stunt or whatever. They start throwing dildos at each other. That is allowed. You're allowed to show people slapping dildos at each other because it's not sexual. They're not using them in a sexual manner, even though it's dildos. But do not, whatever you do, do not show a video of a woman getting a DUI standing perfectly still in a bathing suit because that's a big no no. Uh AI's robotic overlords will, you know, they'll pounce on you for that just because just because. So anyway, there's my little rant. Now I'll scroll back up in the chat that you guys tried to interrupt me with while I'm doing stuff. Chris, damn it. I'm about to ban you from giving me money. Try to distract me twice at one time. So anyway, um if you're interested in some of the [ __ ] that they're doing to the creators, plenty of videos out there, um search something up and and look at it. Appealing YouTube is like appealing a health insurance decision. The answer is always no. Well, no. Actually, it's like appealing an insurance decision. God bless America and our healthcare system. But, um, the difference is it's easier to talk to an actual human being at the insurance companies. So, YouTube is worse. You can't reason with with the machine. You can't explain context to a machine. They do what they do and YouTube says, "Well, must be cuz they don't care if they uh um they don't care if they [ __ ] all over their creators. There's 100 million of us and there'll be more as soon as we're gone. No big deal." She was in public. That's the thing. And it's not like she was struggling and um you know her top came down or anything. They were standing there talking and that's it. Just standing there talking.
