So, you can't you have If you jump in that lane, you have to make your first available left. You can't just use it as a passing lane cuz we're we don't want to sit in traffic. All that we're dealing with is a suspended plate not having insurance. No points on your license, shouldn't make your insurance go up or anything. It's not a moving violation. Just an issue you have to have taken care of. You were 30 mph in that posted 15 mph school zone. So, you're in it at double the speed limit. So, may I see your registration paperwork and current proof of insurance. I think your plates are suspended. Well, that's a lot of paperwork. I guarantee you don't need all that paperwork in there. Um no, I don't. Um most of this is It's probably that right there where it says a. dot. Yep. Paper uh Do you have current proof insurance? Um I would have to call my husband for that one. Well, I would give him a call because typically registrations get suspended as a result of not having current insurance. So, um give him a call. This vehicle looks like it's plates are suspended as a result of no current insurance. So, when you don't have insurance, MVD sends a letter to the registered owner and says, "Hey, you got to get insurance." When you don't have it, they just suspend your plates. Um then when I come in contact with you and you don't have current proof insurance, I take your plate and I send it back to MVD, which forces you to go to MVD to get a new plate and then you have to show them that you have current insurance. So, it's MVD's way of mandating that you have current insurance. So, we take your plate. So, when I take a plate, I typically just throw it on the floorboard of my passenger side. So, this license plate cover, when you get home, throw that away cuz you can't have it on your car. It's illegal to have anything that covers your license plate. So, we're just going to address everything that we spoke about. Um I got you on laser at 30 mph in a posted 15 school zone. So, your first citation is for any speed that's in excess of 15 in the school zone is considered a violation. Obviously, you're double that. Um then you're displaying this plate suspended for financial responsibility and then you don't have any insurance with you right now. So, just so you know, you do not have registration for this vehicle. You can't drive cuz you don't have a license plate, okay? So, it's a Do you understand that? If you continue down the road and someone else stops you, that's those are those are your problems to deal with as an adult.
