On June 19th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a Walmart in response to a theft in progress. Hi, how are you? All right, good. Good, good. You called? Uh yeah, I did. Um so, she used a How she got it, I don't know, but she used a fake receipt on her phone Okay. >> and tried to like play like she scanned stuff and tried to walk out the door. My door greeter stopped her and they called me over and when I started like looking at the receipt, I noticed it's camping stuff on the receipt, but the camping stuff she had didn't match. Got you. Okay. >> So then uh her the receipt's on her phone. She I took her phone and I said, "Well, come to my office with me." So she followed me to the office. When I got here, she gave me the name of uh Alvidia. Well, first it was Alvira and then she changed it to Alvidia. Okay. And then she told me uh I told her that it didn't come back in any of our systems. So then she said Alvidia. Um then she handed me She told me I got an ID in my purse. So I got her purse. There was two IDs in there, but they have One has One has and the date of birth is completely different. They're completely different. One's from Georgia, one's from here. Um then the mom showed up, grabbed the IDs from me and kind of like demanded she Uh no, we actually closed the door and locked it. So she couldn't get We try not to like close the door and people get like kind of weird about it, but um we closed the door and locked it and she tried getting in there again. They were yelling back and forth at each other, so that's when [Music] Perfect, okay. Hi, Officer Moreno with Apple Creek Police Department. So, I'm going to read something real quick, okay? Um I entered someone else's receipt on my Walmart app. Okay, say that again. That's it. I entered someone else's receipt on my Walmart app and what was in my basket versus what was on the receipt is not the same. So you had somebody's receipt on your app? I just um took someone else's receipt and entered the numbers on my app. Okay. They are not the same. Okay. And then you grabbed the items. Okay. >> I just kind of grabbed what was on that receipt, more or less in favor of what I wanted. Um yeah. Okay. Um I entered in the wrong ID. Something about it. Yeah. So, that means you you're going to be arrested, okay? This I don't get any other choices? I can't just pay it? Okay. And we want you to be trespassed, so we're going to need you to go outside while we put your handcuffs and then we're going to formally trespass you from the store, okay? And we'll do the paperwork that I have to do before you get going. How's your mom doing? She's going to be locked up in handcuffs. I'm not well. Okay. If she tries to interfere or anything, she's going to go in handcuffs. Oh, yeah. Okay? So if she comes at me, if you want to try to calm her down, but Okay. My fault. And did you call her or were you guys here together or how did she >> I don't know how she got here, to be honest. Okay. Okay, watch you. Hold on. Okay. And then you go over here. I need to know. The handcuffs? Yes, when you're in the car, yes. All right? Just give me a minute, all right? Like like like she said, there's it's going to be a process cuz I have to finish your paperwork up and all of that. >> listen, the right way to do this is to trespass her. All right, good. She said no, she'll take everything. Okay. Okay. I haven't got your runner to make sure. Can I see the receipt? No, I mean it's it's a felony level of mail, okay? Um I saw the shopping cart and there was no way that that was $500 of stuff. I think they have the I think they have the wrong receipt. That's not up to me to decide, okay? Yeah. I mean they go to a register and they scan every item that's in the cart. And there was a total. You don't go off of the total with the tax. Go off the total of the items. Yeah, cuz I saw the shopping cart when I got here. Maybe some items were already taken out. I don't know. All right. Well, are you going to be cool? Yeah, I'm cool. Yeah, I'm >> Okay.
