On May 21st, [music] 2025, officers conducted a traffic stop due to the occupants of the vehicle not wearing seat [music] belts. And upon speaking to the driver, she becomes angry and takes off on police. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Do you have your license? >> No, ma'am. My house is right up the road. Do >> you have your registration, proof of insurance? >> No, ma'am. I don't have it. >> This is my mom's car. She just gave me the new move my stuff from my apartment to her house. >> All righty. So, the reason we pulled you over is we didn't see a seat belt whenever we passed by you. >> Okay. >> And so, that's the reason for this pullover, but we're going to go run your information and we'll be right back with you. I would assume maybe tomorrow. >> Okay. >> Here's your tow sheet for sleep. >> And then once she has give her a couple hours, um, she'll have a bond and, um, you'd have to call the jail to pick out what the bond is cuz I I don't even want to begin to tell you what it is and be completely wrong. >> Wait, let me see real quick. Okay. But if she'd have just stayed at the traffic stop, she might have got a warning. May have gotten a ticket. >> I know. I I I >> I'm still trying to wrap my brain around why the hell she ran. >> Yeah, cuz she's got a valid driver's license. She has no warrants there. I I I don't know. I have no idea. But she turned a simple maybe a simple citation into a felony. >> Exactly. The suspect was charged with fleeing, resisting arrest, [music] and two counts of battery on an officer.
