I literally just got woke up by the police telling me that I need to leave. >> You're mad. You're mad. You're fat. He's a pedophile. I dated him when I was 17. >> This is just going to be NOW YOU JUST CALLED A FELONY, so good job. >> On April 13th, 2024, officers from the Sarasota Police Department responded to a call from 29-year-old Jerrell Sellers, who claimed his friend with benefits was threatening to call the police and accuse him of crimes he didn't commit after he refused to be intimate with her that morning. When the officer arrived, he attempted to get the guy's side of the story, but the suspect quickly became hostile, leaving the officer with no choice but to keep them separated. But just 20 minutes later, officers were called back to the scene, and this time things wouldn't end so well. >> All right, so what's going on again? >> This girl I was saying all types of weird stuff out her mouth. Oh, I can call them back and tell them that you pulled my hair and slapped me, you'll get arrested on the spot. Or I can call them back and tell them that you just tried to me, they'll come back and arrest you on the spot. They won't even ask you any questions. I don't want nobody around me like that. If you she going to call y'all and tell y'all that I just tried to pull stuff like that. I don't even want her here. So What happened? >> Okay, so you said she got here last night, is that what you're telling me? >> No, she was here last night. She left. She left. >> She doesn't live here. >> She doesn't live here. I don't even live here. This is my niece's house. I'm only here because my niece is out of town and I was telling her to stay here because it's just an empty apartment right now, so >> So, but she came here last night. >> She came here this morning. She left. She was gone. >> Okay, what I'm saying is prior to her leaving, where was she? Was she here or she >> Yeah, prior to her leaving, she was here last night. >> Okay, she came here last night, she left, and came back this morning. >> Yeah, she just got back this morning like 6:00 something this morning. I was in there asleep. >> Who the [ __ ] So, from what I'm getting now, you just want to her to leave, is that what I'm getting? >> Yeah, because if she going to say I don't know what this girl will end up pulling, what type of stuff she'll end up pulling, so >> If she does she still in fact scared of you? >> it was a little bit after she was >> Yeah, that's what I was trying to tell you. >> Let me see if I can get her up. >> Jerrell told the officer that after the first call, the woman returned to the house making the same accusations as before. But this time, he didn't just want the police to separate them. He wanted her removed from the residence. After hearing Jerrell's account, the officer returned to the scene trying to piece together what had really happened. >> My wallet with my ID and all that all that is mine. >> All right, so she's she's going to go ahead and talk to her and see if we can verify that guys and then Whatever she said then we >> Hey Nia. I know you sleep but um Watson ain't here to your house. I need you to tell the um I need you to tell the police officers that that me and Nija haven't been staying here to your house for no money. Cuz I want I want her I want her to leave. Yeah, I want yeah. >> Do you want to let her know what's >> Hey Nia, this uh officer Davis from the Charlotte City Police Department. >> Did you give him the right to stay there? >> Yeah, he was um managed. >> Okay, so what about this Okay, so what about this girl um Nija? Did you give her consent to stay there too? Huh? What I'm saying is Jerrell shouldn't have been staying there. >> Um he comes comes like every other week for a couple of days. >> Okay, so Okay, so she comes and goes so she doesn't live there? >> Oh, no. And he wanted to leave and she needed to leave cuz that's my place and that's my uncle. >> Okay, all right. >> After speaking with the homeowner, Jerrell's niece, and learning that the woman was not welcome at the residence, the officer turned his attention to her to deliver the news unaware of the chaotic turn the case was about to take. >> So you can go ahead and talk to her. She's going to touch you. >> I just want to be about my business. All right, man. So, here's the thing. Ma'am. >> I've been literally I was dead asleep and they're telling me to wake up out my sleep to get out. >> Ma'am, so I JUST TALKED >> I CALLED THE POLICE THE first time once he tried to place his hands on me. >> Ma'am. >> Exactly. I was asleep perfectly fine and I got woke up out of my sleep. >> Ma'am. >> Bro, it does not matter. >> minutes. I'll give you 5 minutes. Grab your stuff and leave, okay? >> I literally just got woke up out of my sleep to grab my and get dressed and leave. >> You you got to understand me cuz I'm trying to tell her I'm trying to tell her >> Bro, she called the police the first time when he placed his hands on me and he beat me. >> I want you to grab your stuff and leave, okay? >> I'm going to press charges. So, I I want y'all to get that ready. >> Okay, go ahead and get ready. >> I want to press charges. >> The woman seen here was identified as 20-year-old Nija Nicole McCorey who became aggressive after hearing a simple no from Jerrold. Jerrold had been working a 12-hour shift and was not in the mood. As soon as officers approached Neeja, she escalated things, refusing to listen or explain anything. And unfortunately for the officers, they'd only seen the tip of the iceberg of her trashy behavior. >> Don't say anything. Do not instigate anything. >> I got it. Don't say a word. >> Ma'am, grab your stuff and leave. I'm going to >> I got it. DON'T SAY A WORD. THAT WAS DONE at work. [ __ ] He's a fire. I'm going TO NOT SAY A WORD. That's why I'm glad they sent you back out. Since you were here the first time, because she talking about where you guys were the first time that I put my hands on her. As they stepped in, they were met with the shocking sight of Jerelle covered in blood, desperately trying to keep Neeja away from him. Within seconds, the officers moved in and apprehended Neeja inside, leaving her with nowhere LEFT TO RUN. >> NEEJA JUST CAUGHT A FELONY. SHE'S A GOOD JOB.
