You can't drive with no license. Looks like it was printed off the internet. You can still see the dotted line where it was cut out. >> Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. It's supposed to be Vehicles. I'm done. Everything about this is fake. >> On March 9th, 2024, a deputy from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle due to an improper tag. What he didn't realize at first was that this wouldn't be a routine traffic stop and that the investigation would go deeper than he had initially thought. Hello. Go ahead. Deputy Kaczensky, Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Reason I'm stopping you is for the registration. The tag for the vehicle. Okay. Do you have your ID? Yep, go ahead. Where Where's your ID? Okay, go ahead and grab it. Do you have a passport? Passport? Yep. No. Okay. Are you visiting or you live here? Okay, registration. Vehicle. Okay, just just sit tight. The deputy encountered 38-year-old Angel Larezabel Fuentes and when he examined Angel's ID, he noticed something was off as it didn't appear official. And the more he looked into Angel's information, the more inconsistencies he found. Okay, what else do you have? Do you have the title? Title? I'm going to take all of this stuff and submit it cuz I I don't think any of it's legit and I'll see if maybe like property crimes can take a look at it on my computer if it's legit. Do you? I think it is, but I would take it with you and put it all in his property. That way you have it I can scan it, take pictures of it and then that way. Hey, give me your left hand. Left finger. Give me your middle. What is the tag underneath there? That's what I'm saying. Is there a second tag laminated? It's a laminate. Oh, yeah. I mean, they do it sometimes because of the weather. The VIN matches. That's a fake tag. Not only was Angel's ID fake, but the car documents were as well. And the deeper the deputies dug, the more they found. That's it right there? Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Vehicles. Vehicles. Yeah, Vehicles. It's a fictitious tag. Yep. Hey. The Department of Motor Vehicles spelled Vehicle wrong. Vehicles. I think that might be fake. Right there. What's it come back to? The VIN comes back to previous registration canceled to him out of South Carolina. You see what I'm talking about, right? Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. It's spelled wrong. It's supposed to be Vehicles. It's a misspelled, so that's I mean, it's probably a fictitious guy. I'll do that. Just got to give it as like a last resort benefit of the doubt. Huh? I said I'll do that and like just as like a last resort benefit of the doubt. Like at this point I have no doubt that it's fake, but see like this stuff doesn't look right to me. In transit tag. Like it's all one word. Like none of it looks right to me, you know? Yeah, a lot of it's messed up. This freaking QR code goes straight to just your notes app with the VIN number on it. Does it really? Yeah. All right, yeah, I'm I'm done. I'm done. Everything about this is fake. And considering he's the previous owner of the vehicle, he knew it was all fake, too. At this point, deputies were already certain that Angel was buried beneath a pile of lies he believed would be enough to skirt the law. And it was now time to make him realize that his perfect plan had reached its end. Partner. Can you come step out of the vehicle for me? Come on, come on back this way. Right here. Hey, right here, right here. Put your stuff right here. Put your hands behind your back. Because you can't drive with no license. That tag is fake. It's like everything here is bad, man. Any Anything on you? Guns, knives, anything? Tobacco? No, no, no. Looks like it was printed off the internet. Looks like it was just printed off the internet. Which is a license. Yeah, that's fine. With another QR code. But that was that was obviously just printed off the internet. You can still see the dotted lines where it was cut out. Poorly laminated, too. Yeah. And not even cut straight. Okay. So. The ID Angel provided to the deputies had clearly been taken from the internet and cut manually, showing obvious defects that an official ID shouldn't have. Even so, Angel tried to portray himself as innocent, pretending not to understand what the problem was. But no matter his performance, nothing could help him escape the fate in front of him. All right, come on. Go ahead, have a seat. Hey, Rob. Yeah. Before Did you run it on there already? Huh? I was using my work phone for it. Watch your legs, okay? This says Fuestes. This says Fuentes. He doesn't know what he's doing. So, he had this car back in 2023 and he's never registered. It was registered to him out of Georgia, but I believe that make It was only 5 months before it was canceled, so I think it may have been uh No license. Yeah, right. The ID card, Fuestes, the internet printed license. And he doesn't have any proof of its registration, does he? Not real paper, no. It was I I ran it through So, if you run the tag out of Georgia, >> Yeah, I did that. It comes up with his name that name, Fuestes is his name, out of Georgia. Right. But he has nothing saying the state of Florida. And that piece of paper that he has is not real. Oh, there's another one. I saw that one, too. It's the same number. What's the date on that one? 4/30/24. Same one. And it's spelled wrong. Vehicles. Vessels. Oh, look here. Here's your actual tag. Is it underneath there? Plastic and it's turned around backwards. Which is not an actual tag. Never seen a plastic tag. Well, you sure got it screwed in there good. You know what would help? Oh, it's a Georgia temp tag. So, it was a Georgia temp tag. So, it's a Georgia temp tag, not Florida. While examining the vehicle's plate, the deputies found the original one, adding yet another lie to the long list Angel had created up to that point. Well, that's why it was registered in Florida and Georgia. >> Yeah, like that's that's why it was showing up. Now, he has paperwork to do a registration in Florida, but he couldn't afford it, so he he put this up there. >> it. Same number. Oh, no, it's not the same number. Let me run this real quick. So, he couldn't get it re-registered, so he just made his own tag. And it's not This one's expired 3 5 of 2024. 3 5? Yeah, expires Yeah, 3 4, right there. Expires 3 5 of 2024, so yeah, it's basically the same. Shot that number to me, please. Or not. I'll just write it down. So, this expired. Yep. Um That So, that one was a legit tag, the Georgia one? Yeah, and expired on the on the 4th. So, what he did is he made a new tag, got it in the in the mail or made a copy and put it in an envelope, and it's fictitious. And he got it extended out for a month. Right. In the end, Angel was arrested for driving with a fake tag and fake ID, and as the investigation continued, it was discovered that he had an active FBI warrant for his arrest and was facing deportation.
