On April 13th, 2024, officers from the Day Plains Police Department responded to a call at a casino after [music] an intoxicated woman attempted to enter the property and refused to leave despite being confronted by security guards. But as soon as officers arrived, the [music] suspect would cause a full-blown scene, turning a seemingly ordinary call into a tense standoff. The woman, later identified as 38-year-old Stephanie Nef, refused to comply with orders to leave the casino before officers arrived, openly challenging authority at the scene. The humiliating condition she had reduced herself to should have been enough to make her recognize the consequences of her actions and put an end to her reckless behavior.
