Bro, so we just took care of that 100 top. That check was $4,000. $4,000. 20% of it would have been 800 and something. We didn't use the card reader when I myself. They took 12% and like $10 in ones. Yeah. And $10 in ones. Out of the four of us, we're going home with what? 115 120. No. After tip out, it's $60 each. $60. Hello everyone, welcome back. In my last couple of videos, you watched people getting laid off from their jobs. However, in this video, you're going to be watching people quitting their jobs. The first individual we're going to be treating is Madison Taylor. She got to quit her job because of a he said or she said situation at work. Madison also got her friend who works with her to quit her own job as well the same day. Take a listen. So I walk into work and my boss hands me my check and I was like, "What is this?" And he's like, "I heard you're going to quit." Like he did it with the attitude. And I was like, "I'm going to quit." I was like, "If I was going to quit, why would I come dressed in uniform?" And he was like, "Well, so and so said that you were going to quit today." And I was like, "And you guys didn't even ask me? Like, you just believe them?" And he just got real quiet, right? So, I was like, "Who exactly told you that I was quitting?" So, I call her and I was like, "Yo, like," and she's like, "I'm down the street. Like, come down the street." So, I'm like, "Okay." So, I go down the street, they're at another restaurant. It's like her and some other co-workers and I was like, "Yo, like why'd you say that?" And she looked me dead in the face and she's like, "Dude, I did not say that." She's like, "I" she's like, "I wouldn't speak on your behalf. Like, I did not do that." And I was like, "What the fuck?" And I was like, "You know what? [ __ ] this. Like, I'm going to quit." So, I call up my other homie and I was like, "Hey girl, like I know you're coming into work right now." I was like, "But I'm quitting. Like, we're all quitting." because it was just there was so much [ __ ] and like I can't touch on it legally. Um, and so I was like, "Hey, like we're going to quit." And I was like, "If you quit, like if you want to quit, like I will find you a new job somewhere else." And she was like, "Hell yeah." Like I love her. Like I love my friends. Okay. So she so we all just like hung out, we drank, we like enjoyed our last day. And so we went all of us back into the place that I was working and we were like videotaping like not videotaping but like voice recording it and all of us like I think it was like five of us that quit on the spot and it was very liberating. This is Olivia. Olivia suddenly quit her corporate job to follow her intuition. Watch this. I had to pull over to make this cuz I just quit my corporate job and [snorts] I have no idea what's next. I have no idea how I'm going to make money or what I'm going to do or what it's going to look like. But I have never felt more like confident in myself, self assure, and like aligned in what I'm doing. [snorts] And I just know that the next chapter of my life does not include LinkedIn or like corporate all hands or anything like that. and I'm willing to give myself the space to figure that out. [snorts] And I it's it's scary and I'm moving back to Texas [snorts] and I don't know what my life is going to look like, but I know in my soul that I'm going to look back on this in a year and be like that was the best decision you've ever made in your life. And I think there's two ways to kind of live your life. You can either wait for life to kind of blow up [snorts] and move you in the direction that you need or you move in the in the way that life wants you to go. And I feel like I'm doing that and I'm so proud of myself [snorts] and I'm so excited for my future and I don't know what it's going to look like, but I just know it doesn't involve a corporate life. And if you've wanted to quit your 9 to5, but you don't know what life would look like, or you don't know what it would look like to bet on yourself, I'll be the [ __ ] guinea pig. I'll figure it out and I'll document it along the way. But it feels really expansive. It feels really exciting. And I'm so excited to see what my life looks like in a couple of months or even like a couple of years. And if you're in the Austin, Texas area, and you like my vibe, let's hang. Let's collaborate. Let's have a little playd date. But here's [snorts] to bigger and better things. Jupiter's in Cancer and we're all just going to have the best summer of our freaking lives. So, okay. The next individual we're going to be treating is Gail. So, Gail quit a medical job she just started because a trainer, who is also the doctor's daughter, was rude, disrespectful, and unkind to a patient. Take a look at this. So, I just quit after my second day of work. Um, not even maybe an hour into my second day because this person who's supposed to be my trainer, first off, they say it's supposed to take 3 to 6 months to be fully trained. And this is at an eye doctor's place. This is like an optical technician uh position where you do the same thing on repeat every 15 to 20 minutes. It's not hard. Um but it should not take 3 to 6 months to train anybody. So I thought that they were just getting like, you know, people that were just really struggling in and I was like, "Okay, whatever." But after being with the trainer all day yesterday or the day before and not being allowed to touch anything or when I did touch something and like I I learned through trial and error, you know, I have to mess something up for me to be able to learn from it. That is just how I learn. That is how I feel most people learn. But she would not let me do anything. and I wrote something wrong on the clipboard and she like literally took it from my hand and she said, "I knew you weren't ready." Anyways, so that all happened yesterday and I was like, "Whatever. It's fine. Maybe she just had a bad day." So I come in today thinking it'll be all right. Like it'll be better. I need this job, right? Well, one of the first patients that came in had Parkinson's disease. Okay? So he was shaking. They can't help that. But she was being so rude to this man for literally no reason. Okay, so he was having issues staying still, right? But you need to get pictures of their eyes. But she was getting a perfectly fine photo of the optic nerve. But she kept doing it again and again to the point where like she was getting mad with him like like raising his like raising her voice at him like getting like yelling at this man and like sorry I could tell that he was like getting very upset and like super anxious about the whole thing. And he's like 80 plus. He's an old man, you know, and like it was it was hurting me. Like it I felt so disgusting watching that. And I like tried stepping in and I'm like, "Hey, it's okay. Like just take a deep breath. You know, if you need to sit back for a second, like that's okay. You know, we do need this photo, but like just take a deep breath." And she looked at me and she mean mugged me and she said, "No, we need to get this going. There's no one else in the waiting room. We don't need to get it going. We started him 15 minutes early. Okay. He's the only one there. And you're yelling at this man with Parkinson's for not being able to hold his head still? It's Parkinson's disease. You are working in an eye doctor's office. Like this is a medical like world and you're going to be rude to this man. That is so disgusting. And honestly, like at that point, I just walked. I told him I quit. Um, and I told the the doctor that I quit because of his daughter's action. That's his daughter. The next individual who also quit her job is Katie. So, Katie called her boss and told her off because she didn't believe her when she told her that her father passed away. This one is actually hilarious. Take a look. Dad, can I help you? Hi, this is Katie. I was just calling to let you know that I am not coming in tonight or ever. Um, I decided that I don't want to work for someone who is accusing me of lying about my grandpa's death. Um, I just want to let you know that you don't really know me or anything going on about my chaotic life and you threatened my job over the phone when he literally passed yesterday. Um, so I'd rather not pay my rent than work for someone like you. And uh don't worry, I will send you a copy of his obituary in the mail as soon as we get it written. So I quit. Bye Deborah. [laughter] Next is Christy. Christy quit her Walmart job without giving a two weeks notice. Christy said her quitting her job is a setback for her goals in terms of buying her new home, but she's a hard worker and she refuses to work under a management team that operates on favoritism and gossips. Take a look at this. I just walked out of my job at Walmart and I've never felt so freaking freed in my whole life. I didn't have the guts to do it. I wanted to work two jobs, be able to save money. I didn't think I was gonna find another job that I'd be able to work with this type of schedule. It comes down to my mental health. I have to prioritize that. I have kept quiet for a very long time because I worked under the company and there are certain things I could and couldn't say if I didn't want to risk termination. But now that I, you know, have quit the job, I can speak freely and speak my mind. There's going to be a lot of cheese moss that are going to talk about me after this video. I'm sure of it. That's another reason why I quit. I know I publicly post my life out there on social media. But there's a lot of associates at my workplace that used to talk about me all the time, make fun of my videos or send them to their group chats. People that are team leads, you know who you are, that send around my video because you guys have nothing better to do just making fun of my video because I post content on social media. Make fun of for it just because they're jealous and, you know, spiteful of me for no reason, right? Second point, because there's a lot of favoritism that goes on in the front end that a lot of you guys know a lot that I would do and have to do the shitty jobs because their homies don't have to do it since they're friends with the manager. I'm a very hard worker. I always show up on time. I'm never late and I don't call out rarely. I literally will come in sick and that's the type of worker I am. I'm just a very hard worker. I also get pulled into the office, but you know, the team leads aren't able to coach me because there's nothing to literally coach me on. But they will bring me to the office and tell me, "Oh, you have to do this task because it's part of your job duty as being part of the front end." But they don't tell that to any other associate and they only make me do that job. How about you preach that to all the other associates that you don't make do that one particular job even though it's their job duty too because they're a front-end associate. But no, they'll only pull me into the office and tell me that it's my job duty and if I want do like otherwise, I need to get an accommodation letter and all that type of stuff, which is so ironic because the people that pull me into the office are the same people that had a group chat about me to make fun of me and my TikToks. Crazy. The ones that have power, also the ones that are abusing it cuz they know they can. There were so many days that I cried cuz it was just so much and I was putting up with the worst things. Like that being said, I'm just very thankful that I left that toxic job and I have nothing against my coach. Actually, I have a lot of respect for my coach, but not for those team leads. And that's all I have to say. Angelina Veronica also quit her job at Target after working there for 4 and a half years. Take a look at this. Target for over four years. And in my time there, I was crossrained in every single department. I worked in over 10 different stores doing inventory. and I was in the process to become a team lead. I was in interviewing. I was offered positions and I left the company last Monday for a lot of reasons that I am not going to shy away from. I also emailed the CEO last Monday. I also emailed my ETL, my store director, my HR manager, and the district manager, which received no response. Didn't expect to. Target's like every other company in this country. They only care about money. They only care about profit and metrics. Performance is all they care about, but how it gets done doesn't really matter. Target is fake it till you make it company. We had a corporate visit. We've been talking about it for about a week. They've been adding team members that don't actually work at our location to payroll to get the workload done to meet these insane demands. And then when corporate is scheduled to come that Friday, they cancel our truck. So now we don't have the proper workload that we usually do. So now you're bluffing the expectation. You're giving them a false sense of reality. I don't know if they told them, "Hey, we need more people." But I've been there for almost four and a half years. Corporates come many times. This has happened many times. It's a cycle that never ends. Which is why I see ETL's team members crying on the clock, overworked, stressed, and it's not even a stressful job. It's not a stressful environment. We're not heart surgeons. We're not firemen. I'm not going to be a part of this corporation because it's disgusting. I'd rather be broke and poor than be rich and make money off of the back of a disadvantaged system. They all sat upstairs and had a donut because the corporate meeting went well, but were problems addressed? Were concerns even brought to their attention? I mean, I was asked what I could do to make the company better? I was asked by my ETL that and I said, "We need more people on payroll. I've been here for almost 5 years. That's really one of the only things. He laughed in my face and basically told me that's not going to happen. Multiple of my team leads, my managers have told me the hours are only going to get worse. They're only going to be cutting. You think you did a good job at your corporate meeting when that is what you're telling your employees. If you have any questions about Target as a corporation, as a company, please let me know. Enjoy the rest of the video of people quitting their jobs for different reasons. 7:37. I'm quitting my job in 20 minutes. Yep. And Monday, my coworker left at 8:00 and did not tell me and left me in here to close this entire mother bar by myself. So, guess what? I'm doing the same thing. So, as soon as 8:00 hit, I'm out the door and I'm going to put my badge on their desk with a a note. Matter of fact, let me write the note right now. Today is my last day. Okay, Scott, you period. It's 7:56. The manager is in the office with the door closed, so I can't go put my stuff in there. And now it is goodbye. Awoir to PHP. This place can kiss my mother. Absolutely. [screaming] That's the other person. Thank you so much. Uh yeah, she left early, too. That honestly, Anna, I just got to be honest. [laughter] I think I'mma head out, too. You've been great. This great this training class has honestly been great. But it's just we're getting close to these calls and I just don't think that this job is for me. So, I am quitting. [laughter] You have been awesome. Everyone in this class has been awesome. Jessica, [laughter] Jessica, that was me last week. I was That's like a 12th grader dropping out of school. No, it's not. This is worse. You are American. I No, listen. No, honestly, my my kids going to be fine. Um, y'all can follow me on Instagram [laughter] if you want to. Do not follow the Instagram. Why are you already doing that? My Instagram. Do not do this. My my Instagram [laughter] is this is Jessica Rose. My website is she really had a baby.com. Y'all can purchase uh if y'all single moms in the balloon, y'all can purchase cups. I sell cups that say baby daddy tears. Advertisement in the middle of the class. [laughter] I sell cups that say baby daddy tears. Talking about what are we talking? I'm And I'm quitting right now. [laughter] No, somehow Jessica, I really don't think you are. I'm dead serious and I'm not [laughter] coming back. I really I have no idea what to I'm I'm about to I'm about to text the recruiter. I know. I know you're not kidding. I have no idea what to Listen, no. I'mma text the recruiter. I'mma let her know. I just want to say thank you for your time. This class has been a ball. Robin, keep holding it [laughter] down. I'm trying. I'm sorry, y'all. I'm not gonna I cannot. This never happened to me out of all my years. Like, damn. This is crazy. But this No, for real. Wait, what is everybody just tapping? Quit a commercial at the same time. Come with me to quit my job. I have been at Publix for 10 years. Started at Publix when I was 18. I'm about to be 28. It was initially just so I could work through college and then I just kept it and I was job hunting to use the degree that I have and then I started making money on TikTok. I make enough money to where I don't need my job at Publix anymore. And so I think it's just time. So we are going to quit today and it's going to be super freaking weird. It's going to be so weird not having Publix. Can't even explain to you how weird it's going to feel after 10 years. Let's go do it. What the heck? wear you everywhere all the day. You scared the crap out of me. I said you're going to put it on Tik Tok, too. I might put it on TikTok. Well, I can't get fired. So, what? 19. 19. Okay. As long as I'm not going to have to work again. Is that 2 weeks? That's 10 days from now. That's not two weeks. No, you can't schedule me. No, you can't schedule me on the 19th. I'm quitting. This is so crazy. I'm quitting. I've never quit Publix before. Reason for request, let's put it there for 75 days until Tik Tok get banned again. Okay. Until Tik Tok. Yes. Banned. I'll put a broken heart. You don't have to be fake. I love Publix. All right. I quit. But it feels so weird. Now I have to work the rest of my [music] shift. This feels so weird. I officially quit. And it feels so weird. Even though I'm like really excited and obviously I really wanted to quit, it still like feels weirdly sad. Like the end of an era. I feel like I grew up at Publix. It was like a secondary high school for me. Like I graduated from Publix just now. I feel like tomorrow I will feel a lot better about this decision, but today it just kind of feels a little bit sad. You know, I've just been so scared that I am going to quit and then regret it for some reason. like if Tik Tok gets banned or I don't if I stop making money on Tik Tok or whatever and I'm going to regret not having Publix but like I feel like I just needed to let it go and worst case scenario I have a whole degree I can just use that. It's very bittersweet. Thank you for coming on this journey with me. I'm very grateful. Now it's just me and you. If I start slacking comment on my videos and say Emma get it together. You don't need an explanation. Somebody else needs to hear this today. Something my boss just taught me as I was essentially telling him that I couldn't work for the business anymore, which shocked me as I'm explaining my life and what's going on and how everything is a mess and d I need to like figure my [ __ ] out. He goes, "Chelsea, thank you for explaining all of that to me. I appreciate it, but you don't have to explain anything. If you need to do what you got to do, go do it. You don't have to explain yourself. Why have I felt like I've needed to explain myself my whole life? If I have this feeling or emotion or I want to say this or that, I need to overexlain everything to make sure I'm understood or make sure I don't come off as like like I'm taking them for granted or why do we feel like we need to explain ourselves? Where does that come from? that we can't just be or do or make decisions because Hi. Hey. How's it going? Good. Sort of not. I can't say it. I don't know how to say it. I know. I knew it was coming when you said that. I know. I'm going to cry. [laughter and clears throat] It's okay. It's Look, if it's what you feel like you need to do, then I totally get it. We will be so sad and we'll miss you, but I'm excited for you and you'll do awesome. [sighs] I'm like my heart is racing. I don't know why I'm so It's been so like hard to figure out what to do, but I think Yeah, I think I I I think I need to do it. I know I need to do it. I'm living at my mom's house. I just turned 33 years old. I've got all this credit card debt. I'm single and I don't know what I'm doing with my life. This is certainly not where I thought I would be in life. Oh, sweet Lord, baby Jesus. I left my corporate my sixf figureure corporate career after I got laid off. Mainly because every second of that job I felt like I was wasting my life. Every morning I would wake up with this feeling that I wasn't living up to my full potential. And that ate away at me literally every single day. I went a year without working mainly so that I could find myself again, find the joy in life. I was so jaded from working in corporate America for those 5 years. I needed to find joy and excitement and fun in my life. It's been a year and a half and I don't feel any closer to a new career path. So, I'm giving myself by the end of summer to find an aligned job that will pay well. If not, I might have to go back to corporate. I don't want to go back to corporate. I told myself that I would not go back to corporate, but I am itching to move out of my mom's house. It's been way too long, and I need to pay off this credit card that's looking crazy. It causes me so much stress. I know I'm meant to be doing so much with my life. I meant to have a big life. And so, we're going to have a big summer. I'm going to push myself out of my comfort zone. and I'm going to meet all types of people. I'm going to try all of these new things because that's how I'm going to bring in the most aligned opportunity for me. I don't know what's going to happen, but I am open to anything, most things. I'm going to be sharing this journey mainly to hold myself accountable. So, feel free to follow along. Okay. Okay. Listen, I just need to record this because I just need it. [clears throat] Okay. Look, I quit my job. I put in my two week notice at what a burger. My last day is in a few days and I've been really scared because I have to pay my dentist appointment that's 900. I need to pay still $600 of this month's rent. I need to I need to pay my credit cards and I only had one paycheck left and it was going to be at like $1,000 and I just wasn't going to have enough money to pay for everything else. And um this Sunday I was did not want to give my tithes because I don't have any money, you know. So I was like I'm sorry Jesus like I can't pay my tithes because I mean I was like God you understand right? You know like I can't pay my tithes but I still paid them anyways. I gave my 10%. You know I just got off of work. It's 1:00 in the morning. I just got home and I just get an email that I've been paid $1,400 from Tik Tok that I did not know I had that money. Apparently, I made $1,400 this month. And I didn't even know how I made $1,400 this month. Don't I don't know how I made $1,400 this month, but I just somehow received $1,400. And I'm like, God is providing, you know? I'm really scared of my next step. I'm really scared of my future, but God is providing. Somehow God is providing. Like, somehow God is coming through. Like, I'm trusting God and [sighs] like God is coming through. I'm freaking out right now. I'm freaking out. I can't believe this. Like, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Like, I can't I can't say it enough. Like, God is real. Jesus is real. I knew he was real. But like, guys, like, I just don't know if you realize how insane this is. Like, how literally insane this is. Like, this doesn't just happen. Like, this is God working. This is God providing, you know? [laughter] [gasps] Um, $1,400 Wow. That [snorts] is real. That is real. Finally, what is your take on this young lady who suddenly quit her job just cause and then all of a sudden claiming that God was the reason why she got the money from Tik Tok. Let me know what you think down in the comments. Also, please don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to the channel if you haven't.
