You going to see. >> I put it on before you said something. >> I did. >> How far did you drive? >> What about it? >> Exactly. >> With Amadou Diallo now sitting in the back of the patrol car, it's worth going back over what led to this and the charges that followed. It all started with one basic request. Move the scooter out of the drop-off zone. Pretty simple. Officer showed up for a disturbance call not to arrest anyone. >> This is my first amendment. >> Okay. >> And yes, like he said, the first amendment protects freedom of speech. It allows people to express their thoughts and opinions without being punished by the government. It also protects freedom of the press allowing journalists and news organizations to report facts, opinions, and information freely. So, filming officers and arguing with them can be protected. But refusing commands, taking his hands off the car, and throwing a cup of coffee that landed on a sergeant's boots, Now, that's a different story, obviously. What do you think? Did the First Amendment really cover everything he did here? Or did he take it way too far? Let us know in the comments below. As always, we are not here to judge anyone as a person. We're looking at what the camera captured and the choices made in that moment. So, please keep the discussion civil. Now, let's follow the officers back to the station and see what charge he received. >> What crime was committed? Can I see? >> Can you >> What's that? >> Can I leave? >> For what? >> What crime am I being arrested for? >> This is all the conduct. >> Is that Is that a felony? >> No. >> Is that a misdemeanor? >> Yep. >> Over here, bro. >> Oh. >> Stand against the wall. >> Okay. >> Stand here. >> Do not resist. >> This is all the conduct. >> This is all the conduct? >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> Listen listen to me. >> Yes, listen to him, bro. >> And I'm getting arrested for that? >> Yep. >> Uh check my properties. I have money and checks. >> Sir. >> Before you leave, I want you to know that I have a gun. >> Yeah, before you leave, I want you to know >> That's on camera, bro. >> Okay, cool. Go in that room right there behind you. >> In the end, Abdul Aziz Amadou Diafo, 40 of Dallas, Georgia, was taken into custody and transported to the Hapeville Police Station for booking before being transferred to the East Point Jail.
