All right, Trinity, let's jump over here. Nuh-uh. This way. >> You're going to get tased. You're going to get tased. >> Deputies are about to walk a wanted woman out of a healthc care facility. She's cooperating. She's calm. They're talking about grabbing her medications, her phone, her belongings, and then she bolts. What happens next takes about 4 seconds. >> Yes, she's being unsuccessfully discharged. Um, so whenever they unsuccessfully discharge them, Beluchia County issues a warrant. >> Okay. >> For pickup and then they come get her from the jail to take her back to county. >> So she was here on on >> them. Mhm. Okay. Yeah, I got you. >> Why am I going to jail? Cuz we have had to have many conversations with Trinity. >> May 14th, 2025. Marian County Sheriff's deputies are dispatched to the SMA Healthcare building after staff reports a woman inside with active felony warrants. Before they even walk through the door, they run her name, Trinity Field. Multiple felonies. Valuchia County Drug Court has already issued the warrant, and Marian County is holding her until Valuchia picks her up. When deputies arrive, Trinity is inside talking with staff. And for a few minutes, it looks like this is going to go smoothly. The staff explains the situation. Trinity pushes back, says she's been trying, but the warrant's already out. There's no negotiating it. They start coordinating her belongings. Bones, medication, a pink planner with phone numbers. Everything's calm. >> I haven't been doing anything. >> Yes, you have. You just went off on staff yesterday. You know, >> I didn't. >> So, everyone's lying. Are you tripping? >> I did not go off on staff yesterday. I was completely respectful yesterday. >> No, you were not, baby. This has been an ongoing issue. And you remember I had a conversation with you and we talked about it. We have tried to help you time at time and we're not seeing any changes. So from our clinical standpoint, we don't feel like you are ready right now for this. >> Miss Patrice, I am. I've really been trying to do better. Please, >> Trinity, baby. We just had staff was just telling me today how you got upset and you were disrespectful. It's >> I was not. >> It's an everyday thing, Trinity. So at this moment, Valuchia County Jer Court has put out a warrant and then Marian County has to take you into custody until Valuchia comes to get you. Once they put out a warrant, we ain't got a choice in the matter. >> Yeah. And I told you, we communicate with referral sources and they have a say so just as much as we have a say so. So it's the drug the judge Blackburn drug court and us. We all collect >> Can I grab my phone numbers, please? >> I tell you what, why don't you let one of them grab the phone numbers and your property and things like that? >> I'll get we'll take we'll get your medication, too, >> and we'll take everything so you can have everything when you go to pollution. >> How much stuff is it? Like bags and bags and bags. >> No, you just had a Did you have a cell phone? >> Yeah. >> So I can get her cell phone, your ID. >> I had three phones. I have my my ID, my phone numbers. Pixie got two of my shoes. >> You can't take all that stuff with you. >> But can she take the phones? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So I get your phones and your medication. >> Okay. And my phone numbers is in a pink planner on my dresser. >> I don't know. >> Yeah, she So we'll get that for you. It's in the pink planner. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, we'll get that and we'll give it to the officer to take with you. >> Okay. >> And just like that, it's over. The second they step outside, Trinity takes off. No warning, no hesitation, just a full sprint away from the deputies. She doesn't get far. The taser deploys. She hits the pavement and she goes down hard, face first onto concrete. The deputy gives clear commands. Roll over. Hands behind your back. Don't move. She complies this time, but the damage is done. She scraped up from the fall and what was a clean cooperative handoff just turned into a use of force incident. The deputy pulls the taser probes gets her into the shade and calls for medical. >> All right, Trinity, let's jump over here. Nuh-uh. This way. I'm not going to jail. >> You're going to get tased. You're going to get tased. Taser. Tas. TASER. >> Lay on the ground right now. Now you're going to get it again. Lay on the ground or you're going to get it again. 624 1031. Taser deployed. You're going to get it again. Roll over on your stomach. >> Moving it out of my pants. >> Roll over on your stomach now. I got another cartridge. If you don't If you do that, put your hand behind your back. Do not move. Do you understand me? You didn't have to do any of that. All right. I'm going to roll you on your side and then we're going to stand up. Okay. Put your legs underneath you. Now we'll roll up and stand. Okay. Got it. One second. Really wish you wouldn't have done all that. We're going to go in this passenger side. I get you in the shade. >> I don't think my hand goes in the front. >> Absolutely not. You just ran from me. If you hadn't ran from me, then yes. All right. Hang tight for a second. I'm going to pull this other pro uh probe out of you. All right. You may have a brief pinch here. Okay. So, just stand by with me. Anything in this other pocket? All right, have a seat. I got Mad to come check you out. Okay. Hey. Well, >> M arrives to treat the injuries from the fall. The deputy walks his sergeant through what happened. She ran, got tased, went down on pavement. Standard documentation. Trinity's going to one way or the other. The only difference now, she picked up an additional charge, resisting arrest. She was already on active felony probation out of Valucia County for controlled substance possession and felony battery. The conversation inside that building gave her every chance to walk out with dignity. She chose to run instead. It lasted about 4 seconds. I ain't going to use phone bags. >> So, those are her meds. And then these are her. I don't know what's in that envelope, but >> I'll go through it. >> I don't know what's in there. >> Um my sergeants on the way. Okay. >> Um when he gets You can go inside if you want, but when he gets here, um he might want to talk with you since you were out here and all. >> Okay. Yep, that's fine. >> Uh but yeah, if you want to chill out, you ain't got to stay here in the hot sun. >> Thank you. You try. You try. >> Yes. >> Thank you. >> Thank you, ma'am. Yeah, I can walk her out. >> There's something in here. I'll go through it before we leave. >> So, uh, she decided to run from me. >> Okay. >> And got tased in the back. >> Unfortunately, it was on the pavement, so she got a little scuff up on her face. >> Was this here? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. So >> is she for sure going in? >> Oh yes. >> Don't run off now. >> I'm not going to go on my [ __ ] handcuff. We're done. >> That was someone who thought running would solve the problem. This next one, she thought being a queen would. A woman walks into a pet store, gets her nails done at a salon, uses cards that don't belong to her, refuses to cooperate, and then tells the officer she shouldn't have to pay for anything. Here's how it played out. So, did you plan on paying for the nails? >> No. >> You didn't plan on paying for the nails? No, >> not at all. >> Why not? >> Because I'm the [ __ ] queen. I don't need to pay for anything. >> So, you didn't plan on paying for the nails at all? >> I should be let go right now, actually. >> Like, have a great day, Atlanta. >> For what? >> Nice seeing you. Well, you just you just got service done. >> I'm the queen and I don't need to pay for anything. That's not a joke. She means it. An officer is standing in front of a woman who just had services done at a nail salon. Tried to pay with cards that aren't hers and is now demanding to be let go like royalty. She also has a bearded dragon. This is going to get weird. Let's rewind. >> Yeah. >> Well, yeah. That's We wouldn't have gotten called if the whole card went like, "Oh, hey, you got it. You can leave, >> right? >> Yeah. Everything should be paid for. I shouldn't even have to say anything. I walk in, I get it paid for. >> What'd you get the bid to drag it for? >> Uh, for my spirit. >> Were you spirit? >> Yep. >> The call comes in from a nail salon. A woman came in for service and when it was time to pay, both cards she handed over declined. Instead of resolving it, she walked out headed toward a nearby store. Staff followed at a distance and called police. When officers arrive, they find the woman outside and start asking basic questions. And that's where the story starts falling apart. >> What seems to be the problem? >> So, she came in for service and we done. And when we go ahead and pay, she had two different car and none of them work. And she claimed that she want to work, go look for her mom shopping. And I I just follow her, keep a distance, and she just walk all the way over there and ask her where she where the mom shopping at. She's like, "Well, I've just caught a cop there." >> Okay. >> No phone, no ID. Her mom was supposedly shopping nearby but literally left. She has no way to contact her. She doesn't know what to do. The officer's patient asks for a name. She says Leona. Spells it L E L N A. That's going to matter later. >> All right. >> Yeah. My car's not going through. My mother just left. >> Okay. So, can you call your mother over here? >> Uh, my my phone's dead. And >> where's your mother shopping at? Uh, she literally left. She was we were shopping over here. >> Literally left from where do you >> How were you planning on contacting her if she just let left? >> I don't know, >> but I don't know what's due. So, >> okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> No. >> Don't. >> Oh, >> yeah. Nothing at all. Not a problem. >> She doesn't know why the cards are declining. Her mom left because they got in an argument. She also just bought a bearded dragon. With what money? Unclear. And when the officer asks for her mom's phone number, she doesn't know it. Doesn't know her own number either. The officer is trying to help her resolve this without an arrest. But every answer she gives creates two more questions. Not a problem. >> Can I get your name? >> It's Leona. >> Spell it. >> L E L N A. >> L E L N A. >> Yeah. >> And do you know the reason why your cards are declining at all? >> No. >> No. Mm-m. Okay. What is your mother's name? >> Huh? >> What's your mother's name? Is she anywhere in one of these stores? You hope? >> No, she's not here anymore. She left me. She's mad at me. So, >> mad at you for what? >> Huh? >> Mad at you for what? >> Just got an argument. >> Okay. Did she take your phone with she take her phone with you? With her? >> Well, she probably That's probably why my card. >> She has What is in the box? I just got a bearded dragon. >> Nice. So, did you just buy that? >> Yep. >> So, you to buy the bearded dragon, but it's declining here. >> And it declined here. So, it's like So, >> interesting. >> All right. Well, just sit tight real quick. Do you know your mom's phone number? >> No. >> Not by heart. >> Not by heart. >> You don't know your mom's phone? What about your phone number? If she has your >> If she has your phone, you know. >> Uh 832. What's mom's name? >> Yeah, what is mom's name? >> Uh, Lauren. >> It gets worse. Her phone doesn't have service. We free only. So, even if she had it, she couldn't call anyone. The officer asks to see the cards. She says no. He asks whose name is on them. Turns out neither card has her name on it. One name is Rihanna. The other is something else entirely. She claims they're her sisters. The officer asks her sister's name. She doesn't know. Let that land for a second. She has two cards, neither in her name, and she can't name the person they belong to. >> Do you not know your mom's name? >> What's What's your mom? >> Lauren. >> Lauren. >> Thank you. I was supposed to say who? I didn't hear you say it. >> 120. >> 120. >> Oh, 120. Okay. >> All right. Well, I'm going to call it real quick. >> Hey, it's Cameron. Can you put me through to a number, please? Do you Does your phone have service? >> Does your phone Does your phone have service? >> I don't have my phone. >> No, I'm aware you don't have your phone. Does it have service? Like, >> can you call people from it? >> No. >> What is the point of me calling then? So, your phone doesn't have service at all and you can't call from it. >> So, even if you did Wi-Fi >> Oh, so even if you did have your phone, wouldn't matter at all? >> Yeah. No. What card did you use to pay for your nails? >> Uh, well, I was with my mom and then we bought those and then >> Do you have the cards on you still? >> No. >> No. >> Uhuh. >> Where the cards at? >> My mom. >> So, is your mom in the store? >> She asked about >> You handed them cards? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I handed her a card and it's not going through. So, >> yeah. Where are those two cards at? Do you have them on you? >> They're in my bag. >> Can I see them? No. >> Okay, that's fine. >> The officer gives her every opportunity. Call someone, get someone to come pay, work this out. And her response, I can literally just go to jail. I don't care. She asks the officer to take her bearded dragon. He declines. She gets more agitated. And then she says the line, "I'm the queen and I don't need to pay for anything." She tells the officer she should just be let go. Have a great day, Lyanna. She's writing her own farewell. The officer is not amused. No, not a problem at all. >> I got to wait for him. >> What were the You said the name was what in the car? >> 54. >> I don't know if you caught that or not, but the two cards that she tried didn't have her name on them. >> Why are the two cards that you have not have your name on them? >> Oh, they're my sisters. >> Your sisters? And where's your sister at? >> She live near No, not really. >> What is not really? You're not helping yourself here. >> That's That's okay. That's still in the proximity. Do you have her phone number? >> I'm trying to help you out here. So, >> I don't have a phone. >> I like a little more cooperation. >> Okay. I Where do we go to go or whatever? I don't care. >> For what? You don't have to. If you can get someone to come and pay for it. >> No, it's fine. I'm not going to have anyone pay for my stuff. I can't pay for it. I don't care. >> Well, if you You want my bearded dragon? >> I want my >> Yeah, we're not getting >> All right. So, you don't have your sister's number. Do you have anybody else that you can call? >> No. >> No. >> I was Are you going to be able to hold my invaded dragon? >> No. >> No, we're not taking the bearded dragon. >> What the [ __ ] >> I can't take my bearded dragon. >> No. So, I'm trying to see the cards that you have and see why they're declining. That's my question. If your mom has access to the cards, >> I already said I'm fine. I'm I'm going to go. >> Go where? >> To jail. >> Okay. For what? >> Because it's not go going through. I can't pay for it. So, I just go to jail. I don't [ __ ] care. >> Uh, no. I [ __ ] dumb ass. >> Listen, she's talking to him. Quiet. >> Officers now have probable cause. Possible possession of stolen credit cards. They search her bag. Inside Beats headphones with the tag still on. She says she bought them, but won't say when. Then she stops talking entirely. The card she claimed were in her bag. Not there. She says she threw them in the trash. >> Shut the [ __ ] up. >> So she's in possible possession of a stolen credit card. You think that you have reason to search her bag? No, I'm not. You going to make a lie about me, [ __ ] Shut the [ __ ] up. >> Ma'am, let's not do all that. All right, ma'am. If you don't mind, I would like to search your bag so I can see for the cards. Do you have any weapons or anything in there besides the cards? >> No. >> No. Okay. Do you have anything on you >> at all? Do you have anything on you? >> No. >> Okay. And you said the cards are to your sister. Mhm. >> What's your sister's name? You not Were you about to say you don't know? >> Okay. I'm not speaking to you. >> Okay, that's fine. No problem at all. Where do you keep the cards? Directly in the bag. It's a lot of stuff. Why do all What's all this right here? Yeah, I get that. But why do they still have the tags and everything on them? >> Okay. >> Because I bought them. >> She points officers to a trash can across the lot. They recover the cards and then comes the moment that seals it. The officer asks point blank, "Did you plan on paying for the nails?" "No, not at all." "No, I'm the queen and I don't need to pay for anything." She says she should be let go. She says everything should just be paid for. She walks in, gets what she wants, and leaves. That's a confession to theft of services on camera. >> Okay. Did you buy them today? >> No. >> When did you buy them? >> Anyway, I'm not speaking to you. I just speak to you. >> Okay. Still just trying to help you out. So, where are the cards at? Cuz they're not in your bag. Thank you. Not in this bag. >> Play soccer. Volleyball. No. >> Did you see the cards? Did you give the cards back to her? >> No. Put them in my bag. >> I don't know. >> So, she did give it back to you. I didn't throw anything in the trash. Oh, >> which trash did you possibly see or throw it in? >> I can't. >> All the way over there. >> Okay. >> You want to show me? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Well, yeah. That's We wouldn't have gotten called if the whole card went there. >> Like, oh, hey, you got it. You can leave. >> Right. >> Yeah. >> Now, the name situation collapses. The officer runs Leona. Nothing comes back. A second officer runs it. Same result. Nobody by that name exists in the system. The officer warns her. Giving a false name to law enforcement is its own charge. And suddenly the story changes. Her real first name is Irene. Leona is her middle name. She'd been asked to spell it twice earlier and gave two different spellings. The officer has heard enough. >> What'd you get the bitter dragon for? >> Uh for my spirit. >> For you spirit. >> Yep. >> So for some reason your name isn't coming back. Are you giving me a fake name? No, it's my name. >> And it's spelled L E L N A. Just like that. >> Yep. >> And you sure you don't have a middle name? >> Sure. >> Okay. Well, I'm new to the situation, so let me let me get your name and day. What's your first name? >> Leona. >> Spell it for me. >> L E O N A. >> L E O N A. >> Yes. >> What's your middle initial? >> Uh, I don't have a middle name. That's >> Have Where have you had IDs out of? >> Texas. >> Just Texas. Yeah. >> Never Florida. >> No. >> Nowhere else. Okay. So, I'm going to be honest with you. If he's already ran you and there's nothing coming back >> and I run you and there's nothing coming back, you possibly have the risk of giving false identification to Lo. >> Okay. Well, >> you already started with telling me >> you can My first name is Irene, but I changed it. So, >> Okay. So, how do you spell your first name then? >> I R E N E. >> I R E N E. >> Yeah. >> And you sure you don't have a middle name? >> It's Leyona. >> So, Irene Leona. Keep in mind I did have you spell it twice and you didn't come up with Leano. >> Yeah, but that's my name. I go by Leona. >> Hands behind your back. Miranda writes. She's asked if she'll answer questions. No. The officer confirms to the salon staff and the pet store she's going to jail. She confessed on camera that she never intended to pay. The bearded dragon gets returned. The cards get collected as evidence. >> All right, ma'am. Do me a favor. Go and stand up and put your hands behind your back. other one. Come on. This way. >> You can't take my bearded dragon. >> Oh, we'll worry about your bearded dragon in a little bit. >> Can you get my stuff, too? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Thank you. >> All right. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court law. You have the right to have an attorney with you prior to, during, or after any questions. If you cannot afford an attorney and desire one, the court will appoint one for you. You may stop the questions at any time by refusing to answer further by requesting consult your attorney. >> With that in mind, will you answer any of my questions? >> No. >> Okay, it's not a problem. >> Okay, so she will be going to jail cuz she did confess to me that she was not going to tend to pay for it. She was just going to walk in and walk out. That's all she said to me though. and we'll go from there. I'm going to be doing the report for it as well as taking her to jail for it. Okay. >> As for the money, we shall see. I'll give you a case card number. >> As officers dig deeper, the picture gets worse. Both cards are in different names, neither of which is hers. The red debit card she used for the bearded dragon, not in her name. The credit card she tried at the salon, flagged for suspected fraud. She gave a fake name at the pet store when she created an account, but used her real last name, Thornton. Staff at the pet store also tell officers she'd been acting erratically at one point walking through the grooming area without pants on. She'd been in the store since 1:00 p.m. It was now past 5. She came in with stolen cards, a fake name, no ID, no phone service, and a plan to take whatever she wanted. She bought a bearded dragon, got her nails done, and told police she was a queen. She left in handcuffs. I don't think I can get the money back anyway. >> But the thing I'm worried is like it look like she's a the like credit pro or something. And >> yeah, so we're going to go we're finding looking at the cards that she >> What I'm worried about? I want to go and get a break and so you can investigate for her. >> Yeah, absolutely. No, for sure. And that's what we're currently working on. So we shall go from there. >> Mhm. >> She does have a lot of items. >> 6309. >> 6309. >> Choose this one. And that is not in her name. They're both in two separate names. >> Yeah, they are. So, using a card to make a purchase. >> Fraud. >> She told you that they were her were her sisters, but she wouldn't give you her sister's name. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. She gave me that. >> No. >> Yeah, I heard I heard them. >> She was at county. >> Yep. She was at county. >> This morning, gave false name and then became Iraq. She just gave me that first name that you took from her. She didn't give me that at first. >> Yeah. Well, we already have her on that. Um, that's all Walmart stuff. I texted Jeff to see if >> he's Yeah, he hasn't responded back to me. Um, the red debit card is what she used to pay for the bearded dragon. >> That's not in her name. >> And the first car she gave me, the red cards had a candy name on it. Okay, I dropped it and it run like uh suspected fra. gave me another one, a discover car, and it say, but the disco has a different name on it. >> Okay. But she she told you that her name was Kayla when you asked what it was, but she had signed in under a different name. >> Yes. >> Unfortunately, it's very cute. I would love to take it into evidence, but I can't. >> So, we have to return it. >> I feel bad for the little fellow. >> I assume something was up. >> It's beauty. >> Was she acting weird or anything like that towards you guys or >> she was out of it? She came in without felt pants at one point. >> Oh, >> do you have that on camera? >> That I don't unfortunately. >> Like completely like without any pants on. >> She The girls in grooming said she had like a white micro bikini bottom on. I said all I saw was cheeks. >> Yeah. >> What time did she come in here for that? I'm sorry. >> She was in at about 1:00 and then she bought that beardy right around >> 5. >> So she's came in at 1:05. She had like a soccer ball on in her bag, too, I bet. >> Yep. >> Did she have to tell you what her name was? >> Actually, yes. We created an account for her. >> What What account? How what did she What did she put under? >> Uh, that was just her name and phone number. Uh, >> what name did she Thornton? >> Okay, so she used to go there. >> Two very different situations. One woman ran from deputies on active felony warrants and hit the pavement in 4 seconds. The other declared herself royalty and thought that meant the rules didn't apply. Both of them ended up in the back of a patrol car and neither plan worked out the way they thought it would. If you've got thoughts on this one, drop them in the comments.
