this one comes to me from escambia county in florida where a deputy was responding to a minor incident in a park involving off-duty law enforcement unfortunately for this one i don't have a police report like usual uh no joey and his family were at the park right over here okay and the dude at the end right uh albert i forget his last name black male medium height uh i'm out with her here he came up to him with the gopro i guess they have some [Music] you parked just down the road here a minute ago okay so someone called here and that's why i'm heading over there okay so so i understand here you you were were you working officially to help out with something or okay to make sure that he was okay that he wasn't correct but joey left okay said hey i think this guy lives down here so i ran down here and see if he was here okay all right so joey is he still down here he just left okay all right anything i can answer for you or help you with okay i just didn't know it was i just wanted to know what was going on because i wasn't sure they said they were going to submit some type of report and joey said he was watching okay all right hi partners live right awesome nice to meet you yeah i just didn't want anything to happen to you all right okay you have safety absolutely hey sir this is uh oh you obviously know who i am hey um i just uh i'm on the monterey street uh right now and i spoke with somebody uh i named pete uh you know a guy named pete from atf okay so i uh i got called out for single 26 or single 13. i guess that must have been him he flagged me down even before i got to our complainant and explained uh that it was him that was down there and he was helping you out with something and i just wanted to make sure you were cool and there's nothing i could do to help you and since the first time i met pete i just want to make sure everything was on on the up and up with what he was telling me you can't really hear the other side of the phone but the off-duty officer is explaining here what happened about a year ago this officer was responding to a bank robbery when he saw someone identified as the suspect and held him at gunpoint that man turned out to be this first amendment auditor who happened to be innocent but the auditor recognized the cop off duty with his family at the park and approached him asking if it was him okay i pulled him up so i'll uh i'll make sure to just keep an eye out and everything and if there's anything you can think of that we over here can help you out with don't hesitate to let us know here um so and i'm sorry that you got to go through that shoot okay all right partner anything else i hear anything else i could try to help you with tonight all right brother okay be safe hi did you call yeah how can i help yeah there was a car sitting out here gray hyundai okay yeah i saw it when i uh me and my son went for a walk we came home and i saw the car slow down right here okay then they park right there on the side of the road for a while do you live here sir my neighbor does did your neighbor call i called you a letter okay did you provide this address both both okay okay right sir so so what happened uh it was just a suspicious car sitting there okay which way did it go uh you talked to him already which way did it go uh went right down there where you were and now you get out the car and talk to him okay yeah what made it suspicious uh dark tenant windows it was parking silent road where okay 366 days of the year there's no cars parked okay did you make any type of threats to law enforcement earlier today okay what i told that guy is now the cheese comes out what i told that guy is is i recognized him me and my son and he happened to be in my community this is where i live one of the guys told me he acted like during that incident like we weren't part of this community and my family is on property in this area going back anyhow i recognized who that individual was i just wanted to make sure who did you recognize it to be i couldn't really tell but so how do you know if you recognize him i recognized him from the incident what incident everybody in the park said there weren't anything man if you're going to play stupid i'm going to stop talking okay you have safe nights since no one was arrested there isn't really an outcome i can report on like normal i did try looking into the civil suit that they're talking about but i can't find anything against this gambia county sheriff's department for a bank robbery or people getting held at gunpoint like they're describing but if you enjoyed the video please give it a like and consider subscribing it helps me out a ton and if you know of any incidents you'd like to see on body cam send them to the email address in the about section of the youtube channel
