I got this footage from Flagler County in Florida in May of 2022 a teen driver called police to report a road rage incident when they responded to a gas station only the teen was there and he showed them cell phone footage from the incident as well as gave enough identifying information to find an address for the other party this body cam footage starts when the cops go and interview the other party and by this point the police have already seen cell phone footage of the incident which I've put in the middle of this video as always the full police report is down in the description below and I'll go over the outcome of the case at the end of the video what's up man you know what we're here hey what's going on were you over there at the gas station yeah we were just about to call you oh okay I also got a guy I got his uh license plate number but okay so a gentleman that was in traffic okay um his name here is Michael uh they have a business in town I think it's they saw everything that happened okay so basically what happened was this guy's driving erratically behind us okay okay I'm in that truck right there yeah and we have a kid in the car all right so he's can I just talk like it's not a big deal as far as what could have happened but so long story short um you can help me with this though that road that we come down but to turn on to uh Cypress Solitaire Belterra thank you so we're coming down Bel Air go all the way over to the um right the left side lane to take the left take the left as we take the left he tries to go into the far Lane that I'm driving into and literally I mean I thought he hit us like he was right there right so okay we make mistakes whatever right keep driving right he's doing these behind you guys behind us swervin swervin swervin so I'm out my window going what what are you doing you know so then he pulls over to the other lane tries to come over there's a car in front of me he can't go anywhere he's screaming in my window I have a 10 year old right here you know what I mean like screaming terrible profanities so I'm like I got a kid in the car he goes I don't give a [ __ ] I'll run you off the road right so all right that's me kicking in now going nah that ain't happening bro and so we get up it stops right here so at the light it stops at the light but we're about we must have been on Belterra Cypress on uh Cyprus well not Cyprus another Gas Station Circle K yeah right in front of the circle um so anyways we're a couple cars back or whatever this kid just won't stop and he's saying the most ruthless stuff ever then he gets out so I got out and I started walking over to his car and he starts walking towards me and then when I get closer to him he bounces you guys are like in this confrontation okay well we were about to be and then he went back in the car okay so then I'm screaming at him going are you freaking kidding me you almost killed my kid this that and the other so as I'm screaming at him he tries to come and hit me I had to dodge my way out of his way and then he had nowhere to go forward so I went around the car his window was down I'm screaming at him through the window same exact thing he cries the other way and tries to hit me and he was down in the embankment and everything I had to dive out of the way on that one and then he then he pulled off into the lane and I came up and took a picture of his license plate and while I was doing that two or three people were like we saw everything that happened and this guy had a card and I said can I have him call you please like you saw it and they said yes so I that's what just happened and my dad's a cop I'm you know he like kick his car or anything like that that you know no okay I didn't get close enough for that yeah okay he hit me he hit my shoulder with his car because I literally had to dive out the way yeah where did you hit up probably right up here okay is there any medical attention no I don't think so oh my God that might hurt later probably but I don't think I'm gonna go to the cops or I mean to the you know ER or anything like that but yeah man it was uh well it was a little scary oh yeah I'm sorry it's worse you got that mail that's uh that's work there you go that's all right all right can you see that really quick yeah please [Music] uh you said with uh 10 foreign charges right yeah so that's like my best friend RJ is a good friend Teresa's really awesome person yeah she's great we're like family I call him my Fuller family so yeah um I'm not nuts I don't do this but when you're messing with a kid and you don't care and you're saying I'm gonna run you off the road I don't give a [ __ ] about you is he young was it a young person I mean I'd say he was young I'd say he was probably like 24 dreads 24 with dreads I won't say something like that I don't know I mean somewhere around there I'm not sure there's a black eye white guy black guy I believe could have been dark skinned Spanish but he talked much like that so okay and it's funny because we were just in there calming her down and then we was gonna call you I don't want to get in trouble no I understand what I mean for sure you know we do have we do have something called you know protecting ourselves you know what I mean for sure I think what I think I think I don't think he would have any dents but I think I hit a side view mirror with this shoulder okay if I remember correctly okay it happened so fast okay no I know those things too I didn't think Alpha 222 Flagler I'm sorry no you're good I didn't think anything of it and like good he was gonna come driving at me 1065 one by number 27 29p out of Connecticut hi honey you're all right honey I know it's scary thank you this is what happens in adult world these guys make it better and make it right how old are you number 10. I'll be right back were you guys all in this car together yeah why don't you wait for us at the gas station what do you mean we're doing this out what's happening scrolled into the gas station when she we pulled out oh we didn't want any more confrontation okay we thought he was coming out I thought he was gonna come hit the car he was once once we saw him pull into the gas station we pulled right out I wasn't trying to stay there when were you guys gonna call us as soon as you calm down he already said that's the only time okay one of the people in the cars was calling okay well that's yeah like they grabbed me they were in the lane next to us yeah the people over here I was gonna get their number but the lights aren't green and that guy had a card so I just ran and grabbed his card and I figured one would be enough because it was blatant so yeah gotta be cameras whatever over there I don't know yeah I'm not trying to be you know prior to be rude but I don't I wasn't there so I have to listen no I completely understand there's no no issues here so today where is this guy is he just like on the loose now no no we're with the other part yeah I think he's the one I called We're with him right now we have deputies with him at the gas station so we're viewing footage and we're using a lot of resources for somebody else I know that's why it's weird usually uh victims usually call us first you know so that you guys came home and didn't call us yeah we have a child and slipping and we have a witness of somebody I don't yeah so hopefully she talks to them and Kyle do you know how old he was I have no idea when you look younger is that he was ruthless he tried to hit me twice so if he wants the press charges I'm going to press attempted murder charges no if ands or buts about it you can ask her ask her well he was she was the most scared because she thought I was going to get hit by his car because he kept coming after me driving to call Teresa real quick too [Music] uh it was a female I'm not sure what was her name oh uh the female answer uh Deputy Broomfield Deputy Broomfield and you are so Harrison Deputy Harrison and Deputy Boone George no no you can tell her we have Sergeant Jacob uh Sergeant Jacobs over with the other guy Sergeant Jacobs over with the other guy what'd you say no no this is all just happening now so I'm just you know you're I just called you I don't know so I don't know don't want to bother you but I just wanted to give you a call and okay bye how do you know Teresa I call it my Florida family you took me in man her husband is uh we do a little bit of work together or side jobs and things of that nature but um I don't know is it they're like my best friends both of them yeah them to the kids we always I was there last night you know just that kind of thing I don't know too many people around here one second I'm sorry it's going off for discussion Jesus was it Richard yes all right I'm gonna put you anybody back please what's that about for what let's make a place under arrest for a felony say again they've got video footage of the whole thing of the whole incident yes and um it's got it shows you kicking the vehicle multiple times reaching in the car swatting the phone out of the kid's hand and while he's in the driver's seat when he said he's gonna shoot me so and then is there is there a video camera footage of him trying to hit me with his car they have all of it all of it's on video footage so is he getting I'm not there I'm not there witnessing the video but this is because I had a child in the car and this guy for a mile and a half two miles was messing with us to the point where you know what you're saying I understand what you're saying I do understand what you're saying can I have his phone yeah thank you I mean I came out here because I didn't think there was any way I got out of the car and I got out of the car to basically he's telling me to get out I get out and go we have a child in this car you almost killed us three times and then I'm getting I don't give a [ __ ] about your child [ __ ] you oh that's all freedom of speech okay so then when he says he's gonna shoot me and he pulls up something in his car it was gray what's up anything that's gonna hurt me in here did you see a gun or did anybody see a gun it was so fast he was literally moving it was fast raising it up to me I was gray that's all I knew all I knew was whatever it was it wasn't getting pointed at my face it looked like a gray metal object pointed at my face I mean when you're in something like that I literally just got out of work I literally was protecting that girl and or anything only that I don't find in the jail does it'll be another charge so if you want to tell me now we could just work there's not I have to do it to everybody two pockets in here man you don't want your phone to go with you I would rather her have my phone do you want her to have all this stuff call Teresa and tell her what's going on please do you want her to have all this stuff too yeah can you keep that card so it doesn't blow away because that's the guy I've been trying to call him yeah I've been trying to call him because this is not right phone does not or video Whatever It Is does not show what happened and uh childhood as the child abuse because he's 17. I didn't hit him the swatting the phone out but he said he said I'm going to shoot you physically but he said I'm gonna shoot you if you get a hold of that guy I guarantee you he probably heard that I understand what you're saying so I can't swap what I think might be a gun away from my face I don't know all I did was hit it and it was that's not enough for the State Attorney's office of the State Attorney's office see you again so somebody says I'm gonna shoot you somebody says I'm gonna shoot you in the face uh oh four can I give her my code as you heard Richard was initially charged with one felony count child abuse and one misdemeanor count criminal mischief about a month after the incident the prosecutors lowered the felony child abuse charge to a misdemeanor battery charge the criminal mischief charges seemed to stem from the damage he caused to the victim's car I.E dents in the door it appears Richard was given a bond which he made and he has a public defender and is set to go to trial if you enjoyed this video please consider subscribing as it helps me a lot more than you realize and if you know of an incident that you would like to see on footage feel free to reach out to me either in my email or the Facebook page both Linked In the about section of this page
