Hit like and subscribe. Now, let's dive into the first shocking case. [Music] 8:00 a.m. April 8th, 2025, Santa Fe, Texas. A frantic 911 call reported loud banging and violent shaking coming from a parked U-Haul. Who or what was trapped inside that cargo box? Was it just a misunderstanding or the beginning of a nightmare? [Music] >> Responding to the call, police rushed to the scene. But just as they arrived, the U-Haul driver suddenly hit the gas and took off. >> It was clear something shady was being hidden inside that cargo box. What would officers do to uncover the truth? >> Take over. 18. >> An urgent alert echoed across the Santa Fe force. A U-Haul linked to a possible kidnapping was on the move and the suspect was believed to be armed. The order was clear. Mobilize all units. Block every possible exit. Every second of delay meant a risk too great to ignore. >> We're approaching the turn pass an hour. We're doing approaching heavy traffic 14. Traffic 14. >> A chilling possibility hangs in the air. If there are innocent people locked inside that U-Haul, why is the driver so reckless? What horror is he trying to hide? Something far worse than a simple getaway. If there are victims inside, trapped in the dark, what are they thinking? With every sharp turn, every jolt, each one a brush with death. by on street. We're just turn left on clearway. Clear to go back towards all 14. We're doing 30 mph. High traffic. driver. [Music] >> This isn't just a suspect on the run. It's a twisted nightmare dragging the entire nation into something no one dares fully imagine. And if the unthinkable is true, where is he taking them? And why? The thought alone sends shivers down the spine. Left [Music] traffic reporting incoming traffic incoming traffic. When you get this truck off the road, it's going to hurt somebody. Blazing down the highway on shredded tires, the suspect turned a U-Haul into a battering ram. Reckless, relentless, and totally unhinged, officers weren't chasing just a fugitive. They were racing against disaster, determined to end this high-speed madness before it claimed innocent lives. [Music] Why don't police run a red light? Red light. ID 11's trying to take over for you. >> Pinned and cornered after stopsticks shredded the tires, officers boxed in the U-Haul near Cerillos Road. >> Glass shattered, tires gone, and nowhere left to run. One decisive move, and the chaos came to a grinding halt. >> Oh no, look at that. An old man just trying to enjoy what might be his last cigarette. And yet here we are. Sirens wailing. Dozens of officers closing in like it's a Hollywood blockbuster. Who would have thought this entire highstakes operation was all for a tired old guy who simply didn't feel like walking anymore? In the end, a man and a woman were rescued from the hellish ride known as a U-Haul. and one very confusing old man. One thing's certain, unless he's got some serious backup, he won't be getting out of jail anytime soon. Now, let's jump into the second case. April 1st, 2025, St. Petersburg, Florida. A 65-year-old woman turned a simple red light stop into a chaotic high-speed chase through quiet pre-dawn streets. Behind the wheel of a red Toyota hatchback, she fled with surprising boldness, leaving officers to wonder, "Can wisdom outmaneuver experience behind the badge?" >> She slurred out the classic line, "I'm a woman of a certain age. I can say and do whatever I want." Like it was some kind of shield. But a retired state trooper once told me, "The most unpredictable, outofc control encounters weren't with armed robbers. They were with drunk, defiant women." And this one, she was about to prove him right. Flat about to flail off a couple seconds. Went up to a stop at 177th Avenue West. 177th Avenue West. >> She fled south, then looped back onto Gulf Boulevard, where Indian Shores police took over. At 177th Avenue West, officers moved to stop the vehicle for a felony, but she was seen armed inside. Ignoring commands to disarm and exit, she suddenly spun the car around and sped north, triggering a code red emergency. >> What will police have to do next to stop this rogue grandma? >> She takes off. >> Yep. >> Put up down here before she does. >> Up to we have any more cops out there? Yep. >> Yep. >> Near 20,254 Gulf Boulevard, officers deployed an MAP to PIT the Toyota, but the woman behind the wheel refused to stop. She drove straight at an officer, slamming into an open patrol car door as shouts of, "Stop the car!" filled the air. Shots were fired. Even after being hit, she kept driving until a head-on collision with a cruiser ended it all. the gun. >> Amid the chaos, at least 18 shots were fired. Yet somehow, the woman was hit only three times, and all were minor wounds. Extraordinary luck or a stark reminder that marksmanship under extreme pressure is something law enforcement must constantly strive to sharpen. >> Fire on right hand. [Music] She survived. But imagine being 65 and heading to jail. What would that be like? Still, karma never skips a beat. You reap what you sow. So, for now, let's leave the elderly offenders behind and jump into the next wild case. >> May 21st, 2024, Virginia. While on patrol, Trooper Rose spotted a Honda Accord with plates matching a stolen vehicle report. Lights and sirens were activated, but the suspect hit the gas and took off. What reckless move would he make next? able >> hitting 120 mph on Pharaoh Parkway and continuing onto Princess Anne Road, the suspect's controlled direction, despite the high speed, allowed pursuing officers to assess the situation more calmly and accurately. [Music] >> Driving the wrong way to stand out, this guy sure knows how to joke around. >> All right, guys. road traffic out here. Traffic only, >> "Damn it, what kind of day is this? So unlucky." The driver of the black car who was hit by him while going the wrong way shouted, >> "All right, he just caused another vehicle to 1050." They do not wreck, but he calls another vehicle to 1050. We're on Eagle Hill Drive. Uh speed 50. No traffic. We're going to be coming up to a dead end here. The suspect seemed completely unfazed as he sped through a residential area, taking several turns down different alleys to shake off the police, but they kept close behind. In the end, he drove through an apartment complex and ran out of options. >> Clear clear. No traffic going to suspect right off the interstate here. >> The suspects fled instead of surrendering. The 17-year-old passenger raised his hands and surrendered on the spot. Both suspects were apprehended after crawling through grass by the roadside. The suspect's bag contained a key fob for the stolen Honda, a matching glove, and a loaded handgun. DNA was collected and logged into evidence. The suspect now faces multiple charges, including possession of stolen property, reckless driving with extreme speeding, felony fleeing and eluding, abduction, obstructing justice, and enticing a minor to engage in criminal activity. [Music] November 5th, 2024, Tallahassee, Florida. A citizen report of a stolen blue Mitsubishi triggered a B alert. With traffic heavy and the streets packed, troopers hit the road. But how do you catch a fugitive when you can't hit the gas? The tension builds as the hunt begins. With years of experience, FHP troopers quickly locked onto the vehicle swerving dangerously along Appalache Parkway. Lights flashing, sirens wailing. They closed in to stop the threat. But the suspect had no plans to surrender. The chase was on and it was only just beginning. Noticing the police right behind him, he accelerated, narrowly, missing collisions with cars in the same lane, making the situation even more dangerous. Tying onto Paul Russell Roadden. [Music] The police wouldn't let him go any further. They performed two pit maneuvers in quick succession, causing his car to spin out of control. >> Look at that. It's spinning around like a merrygoround instead of a chase. A passer by humorously remarked. [Music] Show me your head. Get out the car. Get out the car. >> Trapped between the patrol car and the guardrail. The driver made a desperate attempt to escape, but within seconds, officers swarmed in, grabbed his arms, pulled him from the vehicle, and slammed him to the ground. [Music] The suspect, identified as Antoine Jones, was handcuffed, secured in the back of a TPD patrol vehicle, and transported for medical evaluation before being booked into Lyon County Jail. He faces charges of grand theft auto, fleeing and eluding law enforcement and public safety endangerment. On a summer night in 2022, around 3:20 a.m. in a quiet Arkansas neighborhood, police spotted a stolen 2017 Chevy Cruz swerving, jumping curbs, and showing signs of impaired driving. What happens next? [Music] The suspect recklessly sped through a residential area, ignoring traffic signs, darting down side streets to evade police, and even slamming into a curb, turning a quiet neighborhood into a high-risk zone. After a wild chase, the suspect suddenly stopped. A barefoot woman wearing only her underwear jumped out of the car on foot, but was quickly apprehended by police. What happened next will shock you. Can you guess what happened? >> Get up. >> Those sounds will make many people blush or imagine something. Oh, can she really wear that outfit out in public? >> You don't have to know. >> So now you're DWI, too. >> Please don't do that. I [ __ ] you. >> I'm not. Stop talking. >> I have noticed you. >> Stop talking. >> I swear. >> Stop talking. >> [ __ ] it. It's often said that people who feel the need to declare they don't have an STD might actually be hiding something. >> At this point, this woman seems to have lost whatever selfrespect she had left. >> Seriously, don't like >> impressed with how the officer positioned her perfectly in front of the camera to capture everything. He stayed calm and professional despite the situation. >> Props to the body cam and dash cam for saving him from any baseless accusations. What do you think about this move? >> Oh, this is racist. >> Sunday morning, August 14th, 2022, near Gross Lake Parkway. At 8:57 a.m., officers were alerted to a stolen orange Dodge Challenger. Sergeant T. Dickerson quickly set up spike strips at the neighborhood exit, ready for whatever came next. >> The driver of the Dodge Challenger ignored police commands and blew past law enforcement's spike strips, accelerating to over 93 mph in a reckless attempt to flee. >> Stop. Stop six are good. Stop six are good. We're going left on Fair View. Left on Fair. The suspect recklessly ran red lights, passed in no passing zones, and drove the wrong way on Malla Road. Each move a potential disaster waiting to happen. The truck driver panicked and swerved to the side of the road to ensure safety. >> As the suspect sped along, a median dividing sign suddenly appeared, startling him. He jerked the wheel in panic, lost control, and slammed into a utility pole. >> Stay out. Stay out. Don't move. Do not move. I'll [ __ ] shoot you. Get your ass on the ground. Get your [ __ ] ass on the ground right now. >> Put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest, [ __ ] >> Yes. >> I can't hear you. [Music] [Applause] >> You know, if you just stop, you've been a lot better off. >> After the crash, the driver attempted to flee, but was stopped at gunpoint by clear, loud commands from the officer. Secured and handcuffed, the suspect was transported to Newton County Jail while a fleeing juvenile passenger was swiftly captured by Georgia State Patrol. [Music] >> I don't know what you're drinking. >> I ain't tasty. They got [Music] the hell out. >> Despite cheerfully singing in the back of the police car, he now faces serious charges, including theft, fleeing police, reckless driving, and illegal firearm possession. The GSP is also filing charges related to minors. A firearm was recovered from the Dodge Challenger, which has since been towed, with its owner duly notified.
