[Music] Get on the ground. >> Where chaos meets the cruiser. Welcome to the real front line. In New York, a murder suspect casually rides a bike before bolting from police. In California, officers confront a knife wielding man threatening innocent lives. And a flashy Camaro turns city streets into its stage until the sirens close in. Buckle up. These are 20 of the most unbelievable police chases ever caught on dash cam in 2025. [Music] Get out of the road. >> Rochester, New York, June 22nd, 2025. Police spotted a man on a bike wanted for a deadly shooting hours earlier. He ran and that one move sealed his fate. >> He's going northbound. >> Let's go northbound. What's going on, bro? >> Get on the ground. Going up. Get on the ground. All right. Go ahead. >> Yeah, I'm good. >> Don't move. Don't move. He hit the gas, nearly striking an officer, and launched a highstakes chase that would end in tragedy. [Music] Go ahead. >> I'm not sure. I'm with a DF guy. Just me and him. [Music] Mario sped out of Mount City at breakneck speed, weaving through civilian traffic and onto Interstate 40, where the danger to the public skyrocketed. Leading the charge was Arkansas State Police Officer Garrett Bird, who locked onto Mario's Chevrolet Impala. The suspect reached 140 mph, hugging the curb and weaving through cars like a missile with no destination but chaos. [Music] The patrol unit held steady at an average speed of 36os miles per hour, clinging to the fleeing impala like glue. At those blistering speeds and with traffic rapidly shifting around them, there was no time, no safe window to deploy spike strips or set up a roadblock. This was pure pursuit, raw and relentless. [Music] He's passing on the shoulder. 282 eastbound. Still about a/4 mile ahead of me. Okay. [Music] As Trooper Bird moved in on the left flank to initiate a PT maneuver, Mario suddenly slammed the brakes, triggering a violent high-speed collision. The impact sent Mario's vehicle spiraling out of control, hurtling over the median, flipping multiple times before coming to rest upside down in a mangled wreck. [Music] [Music] Officers rushed to the overturned vehicle, smashing glass and cutting airbags. Mario was unresponsive, his upper body twisted into the back seat, legs trapped up front. EMS pronounced him dead on scene. No seat belt, no second chance. One reckless decision ended in steel, silence, and a body bag. Arkansas doesn't wait for a tragedy to strike. Troopers PT at any speed. Is this bold action saving lives or pushing the limits of acceptable force? Would you want this policy in your state or is it a step too far? Tyler Sakasaorn was booked into the Sanwaqin County Jail and now faces multiple felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer, possession of a stolen vehicle, and felony evading with disregard for public safety. The suspect is still in the house, and things are about to escalate fast. >> He's at the door right now. Caesar's in his hand. >> Drop everything in your hand now. Come out with your hands down now. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Get go. [Music] The suspect was identified as 45-year-old Federico Rodriguez. When officers witnessed him threatening the victim with a knife, they responded with a wave of fury. This was a fitting end for a man who had no respect for the law. >> Ranch Roads the Ped allegedly crashed into an officer. In just two short days, one man racked up 15 felony charges and three misdemeanors after a violent crime spree involving carjackings, kidnappings, and even ramming into others to escape. It all began on June 13th, 2020 in Pittsburgh, triggering a relentless pursuit that put law enforcement on full alert. [Music] After stealing a white pickup truck, the suspect drove the wrong way down the highway, head-on into chaos. He slammed straight into a patrol car and a civilian vehicle traveling in the correct direction. The first victim in all this. That car looked like his project or daily driver. Something he clearly put time and effort into. Hopefully, it's recovered in one piece and without too much damage. No one deserves to have their hard work stolen like that. >> Once again, he tried to make a U-turn right on the highway and caused a crash, seizing the moment, he bailed from the vehicle and temporarily vanished into the nearby woods. >> He's shedding clothes. cuz he's running southbound up the uh the freeway. It's safe to say jail will be his home for a very long time. Officer traffic. >> This is exactly why having a partner can mean the difference between life and death. It brings back the chilling case of officer Jarrett sent alone to stop a white pickup at HSI's request. But no one warned him the driver was armed and extremely dangerous. With no backup, he didn't stand a chance. What happened next was captured on dash cam, and it's something you won't forget. [Music] It happened on February 4th, 2021. Luna County, New Mexico. Same setup as the last two cases. Same federal request, but one fatal difference. Officer Jarrett, was alone. And the man he was sent to stop, Qua, wasn't just dangerous. He was a monster completely devoid of humanity. >> Attempt 05. The officer was calm, respectful, and completely professional, never knowing he was face to face with a cold, heartless killer. It's heartbreaking on every level. Officer Jarrett served with honor and courage. He was only 29 because a husband, a father of three with another child on the way. His loss shattered not only a family but an entire department. I can't imagine the pain his wife felt when that call came. May he rest in eternal peace. >> [ __ ] >> We have to just do whatever we have to do to stop him, bro. Copy. Stopping at the 116 should be on the shoulder. 5 visual support. You got to go. I don't know if I can hum it from here. >> Motel 233. Shots fired. A pursuit was launched shortly after the ambush. Multiple agencies chased Quiva for nearly 40 m. It finally ended when a Los Cusus officer executed a successful PAT maneuver. But Quea wasn't going down without a fight. He opened fire on officers who returned fire, fatally striking him. Later, authorities charged Quiva's wife with two felonies, lying on a background check at a licensed gun dealer and knowingly supplying ammunition and firearms to a convicted felon. [Music] >> February 22, 2025, 10:54 a.m. Little Rock, Arkansas. A yellow Honda Accord caught an officer's eye. no seat belt. But when police tried to pull it over, the driver slammed the gas instead. In an instant, a routine stop turned into a full-blown chase through city streets. [Music] This guy clearly never bothered to learn about trooper Jacob Bird. If anyone thinks they can outrun Trooper Bird, they better think again. His PAT maneuvers are ruthless, precise, and absolutely unstoppable. Once you're in his sights, the chase is as good as over. [Music] [Music] The suspect weaved recklessly through traffic, cutting dangerously off as the pursuit escalated past exit 8A. Officer Bird closed in, eyes focused on the open road ahead, calculating ready. Every move from here was planned. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Applause] [Music] With a clear road ahead, Officer Bird executed a brutal TVI, slamming the suspect's car into a concrete barrier, grinding it to a stop. Textbook takedown. Flawless. [Applause] [Music] He tossed the backpack and gun without a second thought. Leaving everything behind, even the girlfriend still in the car. He sprinted forward, chasing a second chance. Did he make it? It was just a matter of time. He never had a chance. She surrendered immediately. She was charged with fleeing, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license. He was wanted for burglary, domestic violence, and assault. Now also charged with fleeing on foot, vandalism, and intent to distribute marijuana. Everything is over. >> Wrong way. >> I 26 East, mile post 17, South Carolina. A routine traffic stop turned explosive when a trooper spotted a gray Toyota Tundra with Virginia plates. In a daring move, he crashed into the patrol car and disappeared in a cloud of dust. A challenge. >> Wrong way on 26. The suspect kept going, exiting I 85 at exit 118. The speed still over 100 mph. No sign of slowing down. southbound. >> Wrong way on. >> What's his plan here? Or is this just a joy ride to sharpen his getaway skills? Looping through grassy fields like it's a game. Pure madness. A reckless stunt that pushes the patients of law enforcement to the edge. [Applause] >> 47. We just got back on 68. I'm trying to pit. [Music] Taking a ride on Fort Prince for Prince Road going south. >> What's your speed in traffic? No speed 48 and climbing. >> The chase roared on faster, riskier, and more defiant than ever. Officers executed a pat on a quiet stretch of road, hoping to end it then and there, but the suspect wasn't phased. Shaking it off like nothing happened, he hit the gas again, doubling down on his reckless escape. He's taking off again. >> 10. Taking a ride on the Leopard Road. Believe my vehicle's disabled. >> Gray Toyota Tundra. After the crash, the suspect veered onto Leopard Ride and into the Bonnie Plants area. Officers tracked the tire marks closely, but soon the trail vanished. Speed traffic location. I lost out of everyone. Officers searched every corner, calling in backup units as the hunt intensified. With reinforcements arriving, the search pressed on. No hiding place would last for long. [Music] May 1, 2023, Davis, California. What started as a routine traffic stop for speeding 73 and a 50 quickly spiraled into chaos. But what happened next nearly turned into a tragedy for law enforcement. As officers were running routine checks, out of nowhere, a black vehicle came flying around the bend, spun out, and vaulted over the median, barreling straight toward the traffic stop. In a split-second decision, the officer spotted it and dove out of the way. It was pure luck and razor sharp instincts. Hitting speeds of 120 mph, the vehicle rocketed down the road, slamming into a stopped car before crashing directly into a patrol unit. Miraculously, both the occupants of the vehicles and the officer walked away with only minor injuries. A wreck that should have been fatal somehow wasn't. A 17-year-old behind the wheel of a BMW M3 crashes at high speed and only gets a citation for reckless driving with near fatal consequences. Do you think that's justice or a slap on the wrist? Afternoon of July 11th, 2024, Fort Worth, Texas. Police tracked down a stolen Maroon GMC Sierra and moved in for the stop, but the driver hit the gas, driving recklessly and slamming into a patrol unit, igniting one of the most chaotic pursuits in recent memory. control. >> He hit high speeds, darting through turns in a frantic attempt to shake the cops, then risked it all, blowing through a packed red light without lifting his foot. Just got a minute on multivar. It's going south. He's now going north. Reckless driving. >> Hey, that's a sidewalk, not a roadway. Unbelievable. He actually went for it, barreling over the curb like the rules never existed. >> Passing Avenue has been approaching as long. We're currently going west on Avenue. Long Avenue right now. It's going northwest. >> The license plate looked ready to give out from sheer exhaustion, but the suspect still kicking wild and restless like a stubborn young cult. He wasn't done yet, and he was only making things worse. While the pursuit continued, officers were eventually able to perform a successful spike strip to the suspect vehicle. Spike strips deployed at Nudlia 28th in McKinley drained the car's momentum, flattening the tires and forcing a noticeable drop in speed. The suspect vehicle's tires eventually began to shred and fall apart. The vehicle also began to lose its traction. >> With a flat tire and no gas, he jumped into a white car that had been filled with gas as if it were his own. Done drawn. The owner panicked and ran. The police fired warning shots. The move could have been deadly. What if there was still someone inside? He threw open the car door, put a gun to his head, and seemed to challenge the officers. Come any closer and I'll shoot. But behind the threat was fear. He was visibly shaking. The officers remained steadfast. On Q, they fired a few controlled shots, destroying any possibility of another reckless move. The suspect, 28-year-old Dukan Guuzman, survived and was hospitalized in stable condition. He now faces multiple felony charges, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, aggravated robbery, and evading arrest. >> Oh [ __ ] On May 28th, 2021, near Pennsylvania Avenue in Cherokee Street, St. Louis police attempted to stop a vehicle tied to an armed robbery investigation. But instead of complying, the suspect tore through crowded streets at over 100 mph, ignoring the lives of children playing just feet away. What was he running from that made him so willing to risk everything? [Music] The vehicle tore through narrow streets like a raging bull. Every second cranking the danger higher with chaos building. One question remained. What would police do to stop this reckless driver before it was too late? >> Pennsylvania. Car's going about 5 miles per hour. He's bail. That vehicle is now northbound. >> Now we're eastbound behind the 2900 block of >> He's trying he's open door. >> Oh [ __ ] >> In the 3700 block of Nebraska Avenue, the suspect's vehicle finally gave out. He stepped out and immediately opened fire, unleashing 12 shots at officers in just seconds. Miraculously, no one was hit. >> Two one. Shots fired. He's still running northbound on Nebraska to Winnebago. He's armed with a black handgun, black jacket, gray pants. Two. >> The chase ended when the suspect was captured in a nearby alley. At the scene, officers recovered a firearm. The suspect, identified as Darn Ricks, was later sentenced to 21 years in prison for his actions. Pennsylvania at 1804. >> 21 I no longer have eyes. You lost eyes >> right now. Cars up and get 100 blockies on >> 6500 yard. Blue jacket. Blue jacket. Blue jacket. >> As a taxpayer, doesn't it make you sick to know your money helps keep criminals like this fed housed and clothed behind bars? And you might be wondering, how does someone end up with a 53-year prison sentence just for speeding and driving drunk? Let's head to Route 33 in Planefield Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, where state trooper Ryan Ciple conducted what should have been a routine traffic stop on Daniel Clary. What happened next? Absolute chaos. And trust me, you won't believe your eyes. Stop. >> I got him. Keep the taser on. Stop. [Music] >> Keep the taser on. >> Get on your back. your back. >> All right. All right. All right. >> The video captures Clary stumbling through sobriety tests, barely able to stand. But when officers moved to arrest him, the situation exploded. He resisted violently, forcing a takedown that spilled into oncoming traffic. Cars swerving to avoid the chaos. A taser deployment failed. Then in a split-second move, Clary broke free and reached into his own vehicle through the driver's window. What he was reaching for, no one knew yet. Clary opened fire, unleashing multiple rounds at officer Sapel and Kelly. Both returned fire as Clary fled the scene. Officer Kelly was struck four times in the gunfight and rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Clinically dead upon arrival. He spent 12 days in a medicallyinduced coma and 25 days in recovery. To this day, he has no memory of the shooting. [Music] Clary was later captured and sentenced to 53.5 to a February 2010 years in prison. Even though his attorney argued in court that he acted out of fear and shot the troopers to protect his own life. But after watching that footage, I think we can all agree no rational person could possibly see it that way. Early morning of July 8th, 2022, Arkansas border state police are alerted by outofstate officers. A red Hyundai suspected of drug trafficking is speeding toward them at 100 mph. Units are mobilized immediately. Once it crosses the border, the pursuit is on. Then go ahead and call it. [Music] The suspect's car tore down the highway, weaving through lanes and passing on a right at full speed. A high-speed chase on a long stretch of road meant tactics had to be calculated. One wrong move could be deadly. [Music] >> There were openings, but backup hadn't arrived. And with speeds this high, officers still weren't cleared to make a move. The green light hadn't come, and the risk was still too great. at 32 for hard cover. [Music] >> Several vehicles failed to yield, slowing the officers down. It wasn't clear. Were drivers not noticing the flashing lights or were they just unable to move in time? [Music] We got a lot of traffic blocking down. [Music] Keep [Music] going. Come here. All together once. >> A white car swerved hard to avoid him, nearly plunging into a ditch. The suspect weaved violently through traffic, unleashing a wave of panic across the highway. Finally, as the Hyundai slowed to avoid the spikes, a precise PA was performed. The car spun sideways, smoke billowing. The officers approached with their weapons drawn. Get out. Back up. Back up. Hands up. The commands were loud and clear. [Music] 37 [Music] open. >> Both suspects were arrested at the scene. One threw evidence from the car during the chase. A large amount of drugs were found inside, confirming a connection to an interstate drug trafficking operation. Now in custody, both face serious charges fleeing reckless driving and trafficking in illegal drugs. >> Miami Dade County, Florida. 103 p.m. November 9th, 2023. A routine patrol by the FHP crime suppression team erupted into a high-speed pursuit after Halmstead PD and Miami Dade PD called for backup. The target, a reckless suspect behind the wheel of a stolen U-Haul van tearing northbound on the turnpike. [Applause] You got to keep engaging. Sorry. They're going to give you We're going to start We're going to start behind us. >> This wasn't just a stolen U-Haul. It was tied to multiple thefts and the assault of a Homestead officer. Trooper Alvarez and another FHP unit sprang into action as it roared past SW88 Street. Speeds shot up 9100, then 110 mph. With sirens wailing and adrenaline surging, troopers stayed locked in. The chase was fast, dangerous, and far from over. I'm going to call it 94 approaching 41st Street to the corner. County just Many viewers believe this was the largest police presence they've ever seen in a case like this. While the van may have been reported stolen, most departments strictly prohibit pursuits for anything other than forcible felonies. The real reason this chase was justified, the driver was fleeing a retail theft at a Kohl's store in the city of Homestead and allegedly rammed a responding Homestead police cruiser. That act turned a petty crime into a felony. We're probably going to hit traffic here. So, we might do a show. 823 passing 74. Passing 743. Thank you. Looks like All right, we're going to continue past 106. Still at 983 on the car. information. >> Even the K9 and the cruiser seem to be barking in disbelief, watching the suspect drive like a maniac. High speeds, reckless lane changes, tailgating with no regard for public safety. Near the NW106th exit, the driver suddenly cut from the outer lane to the inside, slowed for traffic, then forced his way between a concrete barrier and a silver Toyota Camry, scraping the car in the process. Pure chaos on wheels. The chase had reached its breaking point. An FHP officer struck first, executing a surgical pot that sent the U-Haul spinning onto the shoulder. The suspect clung to the wheel, refusing to surrender, but the cavalry was already there. A second strike came hard. Still, he held on. Then came the closer. Corporal Sierra moved in, landed a flawless pat, and ended it cold. Three precision hits, zero injuries, zero chance of escape, just pure tactical perfection. The suspects were quickly taken into custody without further incident. They were later turned over to the initiating agency, Homestead Police Department. >> Morning of July 11th, 2022. 9:40 a.m. Little Rock, Arkansas. Police were alerted to a stolen Chevrolet Suburban spotted in the area. Officer Se Hall located the SUV at a busy intersection, but when signaled to stop, the suspect hit the gas. What followed was a tense pursuit through multiple neighborhoods. >> I just lit him up southbound. [Music] The Suburban tore through Little Rock, blowing past parking lots and narrowly missing children crossing near a park. Despite coordinated efforts by Little Rock PD and ASP, the suspect kept pushing forward, turning city streets into a war zone of near misses and rising danger. [Music] The suspect recklessly swerved into oncoming traffic using narrow streets to evade capture, putting countless lives at risk with every turn. [Music] My Down [Music] [Music] >> at 70 mph through narrow residential streets. The suspect nearly crashed into another car. Fortunately, the driver swerved just in time, avoiding disaster by seconds. [Music] on the road. Clear. >> Blowing through red lights one after another, the suspect gave drivers plenty of heartstoppping moments. The chase raged on through long city streets, and it was clear he had no intention of stopping anytime soon. [Music] At times he led police through scenic roads, lush trees, cool air, and open lanes. If not for the sirens and high speeds, you'd think he was out for a peaceful drive, not fleeing a felony. [Music] DC5. [Music] [Music] Oh man, my heart nearly dropped when he squeezed between a massive semi and a compact car. That was beyond reckless. Police attempted a PIT, but it didn't pack enough punch. He's still going, still pushing past every limit. [Music] [Music] Without missing a beat, officers launched a second PAT. This time, the hit landed clean. The suspect's car spun out, slammed into a utility pole, and came to a dead stop. Guns drawn, tension peaked until the driver raised both hands in surrender. After a wild, high-risk chase, it ended in silence. [Music] Yep. >> I got the driver. You got the driver. >> You got driver. I got >> You got passenger. [Music] Police found meth and paraphernalia, leading to charges of vehicle theft and reckless fleeing. Dash cam footage went viral with widespread praise for the Arkansas State Police's bravery and professionalism in diffusing the threat. >> Yep. >> One city, two city, three. On February 4th, 2024 at the University of Toledo, campus police responded to a crash after a vehicle jumped the curb and was left disabled. Inside were four young women, each under 21, returning from Arie's Toledo, a nearby bar. Now, the question is, how was he going to handle this? >> Some blood on your hand. They approached the situation with a cautious strategy, prioritizing community safety above all else. Yes. [Music] But many viewers had one thought. If this were Arkansas, it would have been over long ago. They don't play games there. Arkansas troopers are known to pull off pits at 30 mph. No hesitation, no second chances, just pure enforcement. Wow. Drive 43 left. As Colombia officers prepared to deploy spike strips, the suspect suddenly jerked the wheel off the highway, barreling straight into a ditch and narrowly missing officers standing below. It was a near deadly move. By sheer luck, no one was hit. But after that, there was no doubt. This chase had just crossed the line. We're down to about 35. I guess we're up to anybody around with us. Some people help her to do that. At the moment, we are in the middle lane. Definitely driving off. >> Middle lane. No tire. Entering Dayne County, officers deployed spike strips near the deforest exit. Three out of four tires shredded instantly. But the driver didn't stop. He kept going, grinding metal on pavement, sparks flying as the bare rims lit up the road. This wasn't just escape. It was desperation on fire. Right. >> 532 just pitted him at a speed under 35. It is successful. The vehicle is in the ditch. Driver's getting out. >> Driver getting out. >> At the intersection of I90 and CTthV, a patrol unit delivered a perfect PIT, spinning the suspect's vehicle sideways to a halt. But the driver wasn't done. He bailed out and made a run for it on foot, only to be tackled and taken down moments later. The suspect, 26-year-old Michael Scott Payne of Minneapolis, was wanted in his home state for armed first-degree robbery. After his capture, Wisconsin added charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and fleeing police. One fugitive, two states, and now no way out.
