on Thursday March 21st 2024 at approximately 10:21 a.m. officers assigned to District B2 Roxbury apprehended Pedro carucha aged 50 from matapan on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon officers were dispatched to the Burger King located at 100 Washington Street in Dorchester following reports of an individual wielding a knife upon arrival officers were briefed by the victim who recounted that while waiting to place an order inside the store they witnessed the suspect displaying disrespect respectful Behavior towards an elderly customer the victim intervened advising the suspect to show more respect which led to a verbal altercation subsequently the suspect emerged from behind the counter brandishing a knife challenging the victim to engage in a physical altercation store employees intervened and escorted the suspect outside in an effort to diffuse the situation while the victim contacted 911 upon police arrival the suspect was taken into custody without further incident Kucha was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon how you doing um I'm not okay right now you need an ambulance or anything no I'm just I'm just really upset about the situation um I just got a knife pulled out on me by this coworker here I mean not coworker this worker here that's in the store um I heard his name is Pedro because they had to holler at him and everybody had to come out to try to get him back and everything he told me [ __ ] me just because he was talking about an older lady that she was crazy and I was standing there and he started talking in Spanish to the couple that was at the desk and I go to myself I'm talking to the lady that he was talking about I said that's not nice and he turns around and tell me [ __ ] me just blatantly out loud she was in I was in the store and me and my husband we were having breakfast and I I heard the guy say yeah you allowed your customers to say [ __ ] you to a customer he said let me see speak to a manager and the guy had a nerve to say [ __ ] you again and then come and then he said to him you know you know don't [ __ ] you back right yeah and then he comes out around the thing on the something about I'll beat your ass if you come out here I'll beat your ass talking to me like that so the guy came out and he had a knife while we out my husband my husband is I sorry and I started crying and I ran in there and told him told me don't go out there pleas call 911 man got a told to call1 to cut this man up and and that hurts me to my stach he he he went to the door while I was going out he was standing at the door with the knife and he said to him he said come out here come out come out here and so when I looked down night I ran back and said don't please don't go out here that man got a knife and I came back and got my car with my husband and that hurts me and that man need to go to jail everyone take can I ask you a question yes sir did he threaten you with the no no not at all it was just him how he threaten you if you were inside I was inside he was inside as well but she saying he had the knife outside he was at the door he came from around out the corner to woman too oh that one camera outside so that's the guy W the door so I got another camera outside papor is Pedro outside at this time no it's inside it's inside the store did he come back inside this guy okay so yeah let's see where he yeah my my my employee my old employee put fed inside the guy stay in the dining room he walk the door so ped never go outside outside the building I don't see outside but I want to check just can you just keep playing it when he leave cuz I don't see him at the counter that's what I'm confused about no he was at the counter he just gets his food and walks out but I don't see where P I just I get a camera outside sidewalk from the building I for the guy walk the door I put have from the building to never went outside he went in the doorway and did what and they never hit him never had a knife something be going in the doorway to do cuz the guy was saying come outside come outside and he went to the doorway and just said hi he didn't go outside he said no that employe pushed him back in we got an El lady right there saying she was in the in the restaurant well we'll see if he's outside that supposed toly the incident all occurred inside we would see that yeah give me one second we're just trying to figure things out I got to ask him cuz on camera he gets his food and then leaves the restaurant oh no he did not they must have fixed that no I swear by my mother he did not okay we're just trying to get a timeline of this cuz on camera footage you're at the front you get your food by a lady and then you walk out the restaurant so where when did this was before that before I even got my food oh it was before you got your food so you stayed in there you stayed in there to get your food yes okay thank you did you see me run up to him in the camera we got to look before it's he said this happened before he got us food so that we're just seeing the end of it yeah cuz you should see me run back in there with my hands all right can you open the door thank you the whole incident occurred before he got his he stayed in the store to get his F so it's before that before before grabbing the food yes okay he the guy is waiting for the food so let me check maybe say and the The Other Woman out there is saying that she she came running in the store to tell the gentleman not to come out this is a good camera that's the guy so it might have been before any of this happen that one I don't he said it's before he even got his food so I mean he waitting for the pool here ranic waiting over here that's the guy water hold man we have first half2 today 427 yeah so it's way before any of this happened cuz he's leaving now with this food it's before itbe go to like 17 or 15 okay maybe is there any way we can speed it up a little just
