on Monday October 3rd 2022 around 10:04 a.m. officers from Boston's B2 District were on patrol after a shots fired call in the area of Blue Hill Avenue they observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop in the area of 69 Glenway Street this stop led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive traine Butler 32 of Dorchester on multiple felony warrants as well as Firearms related charges are you driving fast were you driving fast you you pass the top of that by any chance no sir no sir just stand by okay all right right there all right we have any other do we have the break up that's cool stay right there all right is the Breck monitor see if they can Pho of this vehicle we got uh break monitoring I'll call for bra K can you go to S going up K1 on7 hey the Tang goldor that shot call side side they think they ran into a building but all they have is a heavy set black m a red hooded sweatshirt and uh it seemed like it started on the 32 bus so uh it could could just be completely irrelevant just just the Le of speed and but okay yeah that's that's probably what it is we haven't stopped here but since they mention the Le we've seen it on Blue Hill turn into GL well well f i either way y y I don't think they have anything on suspect from that call yet so should be good there all right there you upon searching Mr Butler officers recovered a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun loaded with 15 rounds in the magazine and One in the Chamber it was also determined through a criminal justice Information Services search that Mr Butler had outstanding warrants out of Maryland these warrants included attempted first-degree murder attempted second degree murder assault first degree use of a firearm during a felony assault second degree reckless endangerment handgun on a person and a loaded handgun on a person all right so this might be completely irrelevant okay yeah but they said that the suspect right should have voted over there but they mention the white Le yeah yeah look officer just she just asked me to pick her up now I understand that so this is what's going on right there was there was there was a shots fired no I'm not I didn't say you did anything yeah no in addition to the multiple warrants Mr Butler was arraigned in Dorchester District Court on the following charges unlawful possession of a firearm unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device unlawful possession of ammunition Reckless operation of a motor vehicle and being a fugitive from Justice he is presumed innocent until proven guilty
