Uh, she actually doesn't want to go.
She's not going to run. She's already
been back.
>> Is that the old female with red hair I
just saw walking out?
>> Yes. Yes. I think she's going to come
back. You don't want to go grab her. But
>> if you don't want to go out and hang out
with her for a minute,
>> I don't think she's going to go
anywhere. She's just she has some I
think she's she has like some anxiety
and all that stuff. So, uh the manager,
she just freaked out. She just all freak
out.
>> Well, I No, no. I I told her cuz she's
been honest and forthcoming. So, I let
her know. Sometimes you guys don't get
as quick as other places. So, where
other places don't get as quick as you
just did, I shouldn't say. Uh so,
depending on how they are with me, I let
her know and she's she's got some stuff.
She's got kids. So I let her know she
can start mentally preparing so that you
guys didn't have to deal with all that
stuff that just happened. Uh so
basically the short version is uh one
day she was working and some associates
saw her walk out with stuff that didn't
look like it was paid for. The
management alerted me on the regional
asset protection manager lost mentioned
um and I was okay. And then that quickly
turned into she's taking cash from the
register and they're able to identify
that. So over the cap course of 2 months
um there's multiple incidents I think
about 12 to 15 incidents um where she's
just details take money in your pocket.
Um I have I'm going to put in my case
report $1,200. I think it's potentially
larger than that. I can't put everything
on video. Okay. Um but she wrote a
statement that I have right in here. Um
that everything said that she's a single
mom with two kids two years ago. She
left her divorce her husband used to be
her co hurricanes you know all that just
admit her medicine she gave money for
medicine so she wrote a two-page
statement explaining all that um
admitting to activity the time and the
amount um and I got some video clips for
you so I can burn that I don't know what
you guys do I didn't put it on a flash
drive cuz more people the evidence link
and stuff like that you guys you want to
shoot that I can get it all on there for
you that way you guys don't have to
carry anything put evidence try to make
it as easy as possible for you guys.
>> Absolutely. So, uh, that's what I got.
Um,
>> all right. So, just real quick, just
need to get your And then how did you
guys want this hand?
We're going to prosecute. We don't need
to trespass. Um, we are willing to walk,
but I'm good. So, I don't know if this
is even an option, but she's being very
cooperative. Um, she's not using her for
drugs or anything crazy like that. So,
I'm good with NTA. Sometimes you guys
ask that. I don't know what the amount
our limit is, a little bit over $700.
>> That's my favorite. We have the
discretion.
>> Um, we can
she's a single mother and she got kids.
She got older kids. I think 13 she'll
talk to her, see what we can do. Um,
anybody take care of the kids cuz that
could be a workound for us. If she's got
no one take care of the kids, then we
can articulate that. Hey, look, she's
she's all this stuff. We can take this
to invest.
>> Yeah.
>> Without an arrest.
>> And again, I'm not asking, but if that's
an option, I'm good with it cuz she
cooperative and that's worth. We'll have
to get approved for a supervisor.
>> Um, but like I said, we'll get with her
to find out. you know, she got she
by herself.
So, I did tell her
if you keep the same energy with me, I
you know, I was a little bit off. So, um
biggest thing is is one she in my this
is how I operate. If they're more than
cooperative and there's extra
circumstances and all that stuff, I
don't have problem.
>> I'm the same way, man. I'm not a cop.
You guys are travel at a grocery store.
I'm not above my head in ego. So, my job
is to get our money back as easiest way
as possible. Even being a cop, you got
to realize people will be hungry,
>> right? And everybody gets caught a hard
time.
>> Not everybody's like that, right? So,
um, and that's where it's, hey, we got
to we made a mistake. Now we have to
figure out how to fix it.
>> Yep. Exactly. That's exactly what I say
to know better than anybody else.
>> Yep.
>> How much is she taking?
>> 1200, 1200.
>> I had about I had like 15. It's again
probably a little bit higher with our
retention. Let me um just
uh Yeah. So, so total story short 4,000
years a day, but we know some of that is
from outside noise. So roughly it's
probably like 21 22 but I'm not I'm not
going to add stuff to complicate stuff.
So 1,200 I'm go with that.
>> That's where you So you have enough
evidence for 1200.
>> Correct.
>> Okay.
>> Do you have any of those videos
available right now for us to view?
>> I got the best one.
So we don't have like Walmart or
anything. Basically she'll go to the
register. It just be like a no sale. So
basically she's not going to the
register. I can type a few buttons, pop
the drawer open. That's called the no
sale. Okay.
You can speak to us. I'm nervous. Going
to do a stretch. You know the drill. You
know the drill.
I'm just going to sit here
with my fan sweating cuz I'm about to
steal some money.
>> So, when I was watching it, I could zoom
in a little bit. That's the $20. Yep.
Okay. So, no reason for her to do that.
She wasn't making change. She wasn't
doing anything. You can see her put some
food back in the next
That's her left hand as he held. And
then she goes and starts. So that's her
bag of personal stuff. And what was it?
Her left hand was trash. Correct. And
then here's another one, too. Just to
just make sure that we're seeing what
we're seeing. So she's off the clock.
She's not on register. This is not hers.
Same situation.
It took a while. Also, like the reason I
don't have the high now cuz she was like
first and then she just got I guess
sloppy or distracted or whatever.
>> Well, she went so long without getting
caught,
>> right? Start getting comfortable.
>> Yeah. And there's there's stuff on the
store level that I'm dealing with things
obviously, but um
again nervous with where's the manager?
We only got one manager at night. It's
at night. This is 8:00.
Like I said, there's some days where
it's different.
>> Well, that one was uh November.
>> The one video that you just played the
>> said November 16th
>> or No,
>> no, I said 12th.
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah, 12th. I'm sorry. Not
12th. I'm sorry.
>> I just want to make sure. Oh my god.
>> I was like, I think I watched the 16th.
Is that
>> Yeah, like 6 days ago got stuck. Okay.
So, she works she just works shifts. No,
she wears like 11 to 7 12. She wears
like kind of mids.
>> Yeah, sometimes she it's kind of she's
kind of does whatever. Yeah, but she
doesn't open usually. It's usually mids
or closes.
um
out here in New York because of you know
how uh the telephone game goes and I
really my kids come shop at the store
and they're really good kids and I don't
want to go in the back just because I
don't ever want my children to hear this
>> around like end of September about two
months that's when I figured out when
when he can look in the system it was
like like two months.
>> Oh god.
>> Maybe last week sometime when I was
explaining to her and I explained to
them um I do have um mental health
issues and um from having trauma
explain to him I can disassociate. I
take my I can I'm not there but I'm
there. I can I do you know
from my trauma like so when this was
happening I was dissociating. It wasn't
I wasn't there. So um exact dates and
times and stuff like that. It's not me
lying. I can't get it because um I was
so ashamed that I had to check out you
know and I know it was probably last
week sometime. I don't know what day.
>> That's fine. I mean, you got a ballpark.
>> That's fine.
>> Whatever.
>> Whatever day, one of the days I worked
last night.
>> Okay. Um,
>> do you know what? I mean, you know,
>> um, no, it was never
figured. I was never like over 80 bucks.
Um, I would take money so I could
so I can get food for my kids,
especially after the hurricane cuz I had
to throw everything away. Um,
I don't have um
family.
It's me.
>> Just you and your kids.
>> Yes. And um
I was thinking [ __ ] [ __ ] for my
medicine. I don't have insurance.
So on top of the food and all that, I
have to take my medicine. I have to take
my I cannot not be young. So when that
raised up,
>> it was just all pilot on me.
>> Okay. Um what what were all medications
for?
>> Um I take So that's what I'm I'm not
trying to get a soft, you know, I'm just
trying to make you feel sorry for me.
None of that. I'm just trying to get you
to understand what I mean. When I check
out, I'm with me. I'm like, I want to
feed my son. I got to get milk. Oh, I
got to get this. He has to have stuff
cuz they don't have hot lunches at the
store. He has the package lunches. So, I
have to make sure he's got breasts,
peanut butter, jelly, you know,
something for breakfast.
>> How old are your kids, Peter?
>> My son is um 15, but he has um
uh when he was younger, uh he had a
really bad speech impediment in his
brain. Um,
now he's doing great, but he's still um
very like
leg around my, you know, mama's boy. But
he's caught a long way. Like, but he he
is a little delayed, but he is 15. He's
5'11
shoe. But he's the sweetest kid you'll
ever meet. And he does so much for me.
And I can't
let him down cuz I begged him a few
months ago. What about your other son?
>> To go live with his dad and he wouldn't
leave me. He's like, I live in a car
with you all on the street with you. He
won't leave me. I begged them to go.
>> That's sweet.
>> My kids have never been in trouble. They
have never drank. They've never done
drugs. They've never snuck out of my
house. And I did all of those, you know,
bad things. And and I'm honest with
them. Don't choose the route that I had
to take cuz I didn't have a choice. You
know, I'm I'm saying these things to
make me better. And so when I did this,
it was it was an outer body experience.
Like it just it wasn't like I was doing
it to be mean or spiteful to someone. It
was just to make sure I can get my
medication and to get food. And it
wasn't all the time. Like even he said
he could see where it was and wasn't,
you know, and and
I just could say I'm sorry, but that's
not good enough.
I'm not proud of what I did. I could try
to pay it back and I told him I can't
pay it back a large amount obviously,
but even if I want to do $5, I'll do
anything, you know, because I'm not
prep.
>> How much overall do you think? He said
it was like $1,000 in 2 months or about
he said roughly about a,000 he thinks
that's what the the um SC ger guy that
was right I don't remember his name but
he said that was roughly about what it
was
but like my worst fear like I said to
him cuz I knew I was going to be honest
I don't lie like
I said am I going to get arrested he
said no and I knew
but then I said to her if I would a
[ __ ] lie of [ __ ] and I would it
would have been worse anyway.
I'm just
>> sorry guys.
If you want to really take me out like
this, you have to do this from tech
here.
I've never had
>> this. Oh, wait. Can I take these? Ah,
these the bracelets are like jacking it
up really bad.
>> Can you just take them off, please? You
just got to loosen them. Especially that
diamond bracelet like right on this one.
This one. Yeah, this one. Like Oh, that
hurts so bad. I love it.
>> Just take them all off, please.
>> Sorry.
>> I don't even know.
I don't know.
>> Well, if they're in the phone, we can
run them down for you. That or they'll
let them get you when you get out in the
cooking account. Let you get numbers
out. Okay.
>> I'm so scared. I've never been jealous
about there. Like I said, no. I'm so
scared.
>> You don't have history. You won't be in
there very long.
>> But I will tell you this. Just a word of
advice. The more you move around with
your wrist, the tighter they get.
>> I know. I was just trying to fix Can I
turn this one this way?
>> Put your hands together like that.
>> That's what I was trying to do, but this
one turned out. Can I fix this one to
turn this way? The hands and go like
that.
>> I'm trying. I'm sorry. I'm not There you
go. I'm just trying to make them. Oh,
sorry.
>> I'm going to take these off.
>> Yes.
>> Hold you.
>> Okay. I'm not going to go nowhere.
>> Should I take off all your braces?
>> Yeah.
>> You can go ahead and take those off if
you want.
>> Wait. I'm going to put my hands like
that so that way.
Oh, I didn't realize that. I thought you
were going to put I know. I thought they
were going to put them back on. I was
just trying to be compliant. Sorry.
Thank you. That's my faith bracelet. It
has a cross on it. You'll see it. Don't
want to lose that.
>> And is that the diamond one? You just
got to pull it. It'll it'll um
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> Is that your little clutch purse? Yes.
There you put everything in there.
>> So everything goes with you.
>> There we go. Like I said, the more you
rotate, if they get up on that bone, no
matter where you're at,
>> put my hands like I'm praying.
>> Yep. That's the best way.
>> Now there's Yeah, we'll go put her in
the car. Then we'll come back.
>> That's okay. You don't have to find it.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. I was trying That's what I was
trying to say, but I couldn't think of
the word.
Do you have anything in your garage?
Cash coins.
>> Everything's in that brown thing right
there. Ma'am,
>> there was something in that. What was
that?
>> My my um cigarettes. My um my hanky. Um
I I carry hanky chips cuz I sweat a lot.
Um so cuz up front it's really hot.
>> Yeah. And it's
>> Yeah. No, up front when once they built
the liquor store, um it it's very hot up
there cuz we don't control it. corporate
controls the air up in the front. So,
all the women up there have fans.
>> Left.
>> Sorry.
>> Huh?
>> Yeah. My my daughter got them for me for
my birthday. When's your birthday?
>> November 3rd.
I should have just did that.
I should have just [ __ ] kick your
left foot back like that. Okay, thanks.
Do the same thing you
put it on.
>> You can slide.
>> Are you able to slide it back on or
>> No, I can't. I got to untie. I got to
put them back on.
>> Put them on like slippers.
a mic
>> or we can carry them for you and you
>> just carry them. I don't want to [ __ ]
hold them.
>> And I know that sounds stupid, but I
don't have nice things.
>> She can't bring with her. One of the
things you can't bring to jail. So,
there's another one right there. There
was something in there. It looked like a
eyeglass case or something, but we'll
check it when we get out there cuz uh
you're going to check her wallet, her
purse, and all that stuff. All right.
>> So,
we can go out on the yellow door.
>> Yeah, there's a yellow door right there.
We can go out and
>> we're parked out front.
>> Okay. So that's where we go.
>> Oh my god. I have [ __ ] other than my
[ __ ] I can't.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat
up here.
Right. Oh, that's
how it come through.
So to make it easy so you continue your
investigation. Um, sometimes you have
your backup for your prisoner so they
can stay out here and watch while you go
do request him. Um, and all that stuff.
So, and then jumping on the affidavit.
>> Um, written statements. Do you have any
or do you saw one?
>> The two she wrote a statement. Oh, for
me to fill out for you guys copy now. Is
that what you're asking?
>> While he's doing that, I'll run off to
the car and grab one for you. So, you
just fill out quickly just a synopsis of
what you've been investing. And then put
in there the amount that you think that
has been taken and then that you're only
at 1294 on your spreadsheet that you can
actually kind of identify. Okay.
>> All right. Cuz that's just going to show
again more intent and then put in there
the uh product as well. I'll put that in
the statement.
>> Put all that in the statement too
because the fact that it's just showing
that
>> I Yeah. while you were doing the
investigation. She's still being a
little bit deceptive. She's cooperative,
but she's also still not coming off of
it. Got
>> right. So, she got changed a little bit
when she was talking to you guys. She
was very
>> Yeah, things changed.
>> And everyone tries to save face just a
little bit. So, get your report number.
>> This has got brushes, no pipes. And then
there's two pipes in here, both glass.
Um there's a metal pick in here as well.
So that's what's there. I don't really
uh anyways
and
she said I forgot the other one. So I
don't know.
>> I open this up.
I was like, "Oh,
that one."
See that?
All right. So we get to do some right
there.
Look at that. So and lucky you can't
believe you stole my double. That's so
cool.
system. So typically
that is not uncommon for this type
because she was truly
right and the reason why
let go.
So, um, she's already been read. If you
want to ask her about what items are in
the black container,
ask question, right?
So um ask her ask her hey
what are the bills and then ask her what
is she
and then what we'll do is
I'll I'll show you how we run those
charges as far as our identification
show that what we will do first though
or not first but after we get all that
done with
We'll go ahead and get the theft one
knocked out. Get her thrown in the van
and then we'll go back and test
everything, the drugs and the vipers
from there. Perfect. All right.
If you don't mind the fact that you
found it and then she had mission
>> 100%.
So yeah,
>> you know, don't forget this, don't
forget that. So, what's my show me? I
don't know what you're referring to.
Show me your sunglasses.
>> Oh, no. My keychain. No, my keychain.
You're talking about Okay. Yeah, that's
fine. I didn't understand what you were
talking about.
>> I have prescriptions for those.
>> Yes. Uh, I can pull it up on No, that's
not mine. But that key thing right
there, I know exactly what's in there. I
wear um
>> well the the eyewear glasses. Where was
that at?
>> I pulled it out of the drawer because I
don't carry a purse to work.
>> But it was in your 8%
>> because when I came back up front real
quick to get my medicine cuz I was
attack. They let me come up to get my
medicine cuz I really was. And I just
grabbed everything that was in the
drawer cuz I don't carry a purse. Like I
told her, I don't like cuz you have to
bring it all the way to the back, lock
it up, and then walk all the way to the
front. So, what was ever that was in
that cuz I like just grab everything in
the drawer. And then when
And then when I went to walk away,
someone I don't want to name names like
they said not to do that said, "Oh, you
forgot this. Oh, you forgot your cup
here. This is yours." And I wasn't even
listening because once I heard you guys
were coming, I checked out. So, I
grabbed everything that was in there.
The black the black thing. Yes, I know
what's in there. And I took it from my
ex-boyfriend.
>> What's in there? And my my the age key.
Yeah, it's Crystal.
>> He is an alcoholic. And doesn't matter.
>> I'm not going to say no.
Um,
>> now you had protection. You had a couple
different types of pills.
>> I haven't seen I don't have that on me.
I don't like to bring my bottles to work
because I don't want anyone to ever take
medicine. So, I only bring what I need
for that day because I don't, you know
what I mean? I walk away from my I don't
want someone to go in a bottle and take
something and then something happens to
them. So I always take only what I need
for the day.
>> I have my if you will let me pull up my
app right now. I can show you my
>> listed the CVS app now.
>> I'm really scared about
>> they have a whole medical facility and
they can
>> so without that
>> but what I'm saying is they have a whole
medical facility in the jail. So when
you get out there, tell them what
medications you have. If they need to
send you over to the medical side and
they can verify all that stuff like your
pharmacy,
>> then they'll have you
>> because like I can't like not take my
pass specifically.
>> Yep. So
>> and then being in there. Oh, I I'm So
>> well, we're going to hurry up on your
paperwork to get you in the hurry up and
get you out. Okay. So you're hing these
to the front and we leave.
>> No. When the transport van gets here,
they'll move them up front.
>> So someone else takes me.
>> Yep. Yeah. Yeah, you're going to never
have to travel.
>> You'll go in a big van. It'll be much
more comfortable than me actually.
>> And then once we go there, I go to the
jail.
>> You go to jail. You go through
processing and then you'll be able to
bond and all that stuff.
>> Okay. And then
I've never done this.
>> That's right. But the sooner we get
started on paperwork, the sooner you get
out of here. Okay. So, let us get
started on all that and we'll get you
out here as soon as we can. Okay. Yeah.
