Turn around and face the wall. >> Joel here with Body Cam Breakdown TV. Today's footage comes from police release. If you want to watch the original video without my commentary or breakdown, I'll have the full footage linked below so you can watch it start to finish. Today's video starts with officers responding to a call about a woman reportedly causing a disturbance. When officers arrive, they have to figure out what's happening and whether they can get the situation under control before it escalates any further. The breakdown starts now. >> Take me to jail so I can have it recorded. Please, >> what? How do you want me to help the situation? >> That's helping me, dog. >> Please walk away. >> Take me to jail. >> Please walk away. >> No. Take me to jail >> for what? >> Public and goddamn decency. Take me to jail. You've been here 9 years and know that is business. THAT IS BUSINESS IS MY BUSINESS. >> The officer has already told her to walk away, but instead of disengaging, she stays right there and continues acting aggressively. That keeps the confrontation going when she's already been given an opportunity to end it. >> Okay. >> Take me TO JAIL. [screaming] >> GET THAT CIGARETTE out of my face. >> For what? Because I'm asking you to. >> No that. >> Okay. Okay. >> But you and your misplaced OUT OF GODAMN respect justing pissed me off. >> You went out of your way to come yell at me. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> BECAUSE YOU WENT OUT YOUR GODDAMN WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT THAT MAN WAS hidden or to make sure that I wasn't looking for him no goddamn more. The officer is staying calm here, but she continues responding aggressively. He appears to be keeping his tone controlled rather than matching her intensity, which gives the situation a chance to settle down. >> I told you to be careful who you're looking for, cuz you could happen. >> No, the you didn't. >> Did I not? No. Say I was LOOKING OUT FOR >> NO, YOU DIDN'T. YOU SAID THAT YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE that >> because she said, >> I know you didn't say that in like oh so many words like it wasn't. That was not the context. I don't want to put words in your mouth. >> Okay. You're doing just that. >> But shut the up. So whating good are you? >> Okay, don't call 911 anymore. >> No, no, [screaming] no. BECAUSE WHAT GOOD ARE YOU? >> Her aggressive approach hasn't changed while the officer continues to keep his composure. The question is how long this can continue before the officer has to take a different approach. >> Don't call 911. You'll >> You want to go to jail? Call 911 again. >> Officer, what? This is kind OF A GODDAMN EMERGENCY. >> NO, it ain't. You got two officers right here. >> Goddamn police officer. >> Okay, stop yelling. >> No you. I keep telling you take me to jail for public indecency. >> What's so indecent about this? >> You goddamn honor, dog. YOU BETTER CALL SOMEBODY ABOUT ME, MOTHERUCKER. >> I mean, you're still on the line with them. >> Uh, IT AIN'T 911 THAT I NEED TO BE ON THE GODDAMN LINE WITH. She's actually asking the officer to take her to jail, but he isn't letting her dictate how this encounter moves forward. For now, he's keeping control of the interaction and deciding what response is necessary. >> And your improper goddamn ass dog, you wasn't sure this either. >> What are you trying to do? What are you trying to accomplish? >> I'm trying to prove a point. WHY THESE? WHY in the holy godamn have I been homeless in anothering county? >> After dealing with her from inside the patrol car, the officer is now stepping out with several other officers already there as well. With her aggressive behavior continuing, this interaction is clearly far from settled >> in anothering county because you [screaming] WAS IN COURT AND SAID I WASN'T WHO THE I SAID I WAS. DOG, I DON'T HAVE MY KID. I really am wishing you had the chance, >> Daisy, >> to say something to me. >> Shut the up dog. THE MOTHER OF THEM GOMEZES. OKAY, >> DOG. [screaming] I willing slay y'all. >> She continues acting aggressively while the officers are showing a lot of restraint in how they respond to her. The question now is how long they'll continue taking this approach if her behavior doesn't change. >> Okay, >> dude. I willing slay y'all. >> Where are you from? >> UM, MAYBE YOU SHOULD RUN MY GODDAMN ID. >> I Where are you from? [ __ ] you. >> DO YOUR GODAMN JOB, DOG. [screaming] YOU AIN'T ASKED ME FOR MY ID NOT ONE GOD DAMN TIME. BRO, >> YOU WANT TO GIVE US YOUR ID? >> DUH. [screaming] >> OKAY, I'll bring your ID. >> Interestingly, she's the one who points out that the officer hasn't even asked for her identification. Once he does, she calmly hands it over, which is a sharp contrast to the aggressive behavior we've been seeing from her. You ain't asked ME FOR MY ID. NOT ONE GODDAMN TIME, BRO. >> YOU WANT TO GIVE US YOUR ID? >> DUH. >> OKAY, I'll bring your ID. Thank you. >> WELL, ASS TY CAN COME GET IT, TOO, DOG. >> YOU >> I [screaming] HAVE 11 CHILDREN AND you don't want TO LISTEN TO ME. She's still acting aggressively and now she suddenly brings up the fact that she has 11 kids. It's not clear what that has to do with this situation yet. So, let's see where she's going with this. >> DON'T YOU >> I [screaming] HAVE 11 CHILDREN AND you don't want to LISTEN TO ME. >> I'm listening. >> You You are aing disgrace. TAKE ME TO JAIL SO I CAN RECORD THIS [ __ ] >> HELLO. HELLO. WHAT? >> I'm still waiting for you to do something illegal. Then if you want to go to jail, that bad. >> She keeps talking as though she wants these officers to take her to jail, but they're still not taking the bait. Despite all the verbal aggression, the officers continue giving her room rather than turning this into a physical confrontation. >> I'm about to break this window. >> Don't. >> No, you wanted another officer. Here you go. >> I'm not going to do anything to you. Put me in hand. >> Face the wall. >> That threat changes the officer's approach. They're now directing her to face the wall. And this encounter just took a more serious turn. >> Face the wall. Turn around and face the wall. Hey. Hey. HEY. OW. [screaming] STOP PULLING AWAY. >> DON'T pull away. >> Ready. >> The encounter eventually resulted in the woman being taken into custody. She was later charged with four felony offenses, including criminal mischief involving property damage, resisting an officer, and two public order charges. What stands out here is how long officers maintained a measured approach while her behavior remained confrontational before the situation reached the point of an arrest. What are your thoughts on how the officers handled this encounter? Let me know in the comments below. If you enjoy these types of breakdowns, be sure to like, subscribe, and turn on notifications so you never miss a new video. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the next breakdown.
