hello everyone we're back with additional body cam footage from the October 7th 2019 police response to Wade Wilson's intimate partner assault normally we avoid showing sensitive images related to DV but this case has garnered national attention and Melissa has openly testified and spoken publicly about her experience she has shared these details willingly and we believe presenting this footage aligns with her openness while adhering to ethical guidelines and platform standards we start this video with a 30-second recap for those unfamiliar with the case on the morning of October 7th 2019 after a heated argument the night before Wade Wilson abandoned his girlfriend Melissa monz at a bar the following morning and enraged Wilson demanded to see Melissa and when they met in public he violently attacked her attempting to force her into his car fearing for her life Melissa managed to escape to the Mila Spa in Fort Meers where she sought safety Fort Meers police received multiple 911 calls reporting the assault and officers quickly arrived on the scene all right come here what happened my boyfriend beat me up right in front of this this SP okay for what reason I I stay the night at my girlfriend's last night and he called me like over and over he left me at the bar I came back and he tried to get me in the car and I know once I got in the car I would never see tomorrow so I'm fighting it with all my everything that I have I'm putting on the railings he's dragging me through the [ __ ] parking upot he punched me straight in the nose I lose tooth and do you need EMS no I'm fine I just nothing is hurt that won't heal I'm D you want to press charges yeah okay how long y'all been dating five months where y'all stay at uh we I was stay at Glen he just got out of Jael five he's like where the heck have you been all night I've been calling you and she was like I've been at Amy's house you're lying you're lying and she was like meet me at my spot I want my car I want my colleag just went down to his car to run uh driver's license I don't have that program up and he's to me the license PL so I can get all the information who's to you he uh he was my roommate and best
