They say that happened just after 1:00 p.m. Then they went out to see what happened and they saw police trying to revive someone. I was in the house and I heard four gunshots. I ran to the window and I saw my other two neighbors uh on their route down that way and then I came out and the police seemed I could hear them. They must have already been in route to come. While this woman's account was fairly accurate, it is very common for eyewitnesses to misrepresent the facts of a case. The Innocence Project, an organization focused on releasing wrongfully convicted individuals from prison, found that eyewitness accounts were the number one reason for why an innocent person is sentenced. The following interview conducted by the local news was recorded on a bystander's cell phone. It shows this exact situation unfolding on camera. See Day with no gun. It was no gun out there.
