test of body cam. We don't need a description for this one. Let's just see what happens. >> So, what's it all about? >> He told me to wipe OFF A BUTTON AND CLEAR our screen. >> And now he want to write me up. >> She fired. >> OH MY ALMOST YEAR I'VE been working HERE. AIN'T NOBODY EVER DID THAT. SO WHY EVERYBODY OUT in B have to do that? >> Yeah. They're at Popeye's. You know why? Because I noticed that logo for a blackened chicken sandwich anywhere. And I will take some red beans and rice on the side. And you know what? On top of my milk, I would like a side of French fries. Sorry, I just really do like Popeyes. >> Her name was >> So, how did how did we get from he >> First it was first it was OLD LADY THAT WORKED HERE. Her name was Jill. Then it was another girl who worked here. Her name was Trish. >> Okay. >> Then it was another dude who worked there. Her name was Peewee. >> It was my SISTER AUBREY. AND THAT >> PEEWEEE, YOU KNOW THAT'S a nickname, too. How you going to let somebody call you Peeweee and just vibe with it for your whole life all the way up until you get a job at Pope Eyes? >> So, how did how did we get from him asking you to do something, you getting upset to now them claiming that you're making threats and we come? >> Did nobody threat him? >> You never threatened anybody or nothing? >> No. >> No, they didn't threat him. >> They said they terminated her today and she needs to leave the property and not come back. I'll leave I'll leave the properties with my daddy here. >> Okay. Do you have a car here? >> No. >> Okay. Well, we can step outside though. You can go out this way or you can go out this way. Whichever it is, we're going to pick you up. We can go wait somewhere. >> Oh, no. >> What's your name? >> None of your business. >> It is. Okay. >> He didn't call the police. >> Okay. He did. What's your name? >> No, YOU'RE PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME. >> You're making this a much BIGGER DEAL THAN ME. >> YEAH. OKAY. IT is my understanding that so far she has been fired and I don't know PeeWee's involvement, but I am on PeeWee's side no matter what. Peewee could come over here and throw a frying pan at the officers and I would still be like, "Team >> Peewee." >> Maybe that's why he took that name cuz it gets him out of trouble all the time. No, that's just Peewee. >> Sorry. I love that NAME SO MUCH. >> LET [screaming] ME GO. >> SETTLE DOWN. DON'T >> LET ME GO AND I WILL GO FIND A WAY TO MY DAD. LET ME GO. >> I NEED your The savage hoodie. >> Oh my god. >> Stop it. [screaming] >> Stop. STOP. STOP. LET ME GO, BRO. >> DUDE, you're under arrest, >> BRO. LET ME GO. >> Some people be getting on my nerves so bad. >> I need my phone. >> We'll get your stuff. >> I need to call my dad. >> Okay. Like also y'all got to understand people get so many chances before it gets to this point. Like we don't know the full context, but you know one thing that for certain happened that absolutely happened was that after she was fired and they asked her to leave the premises several times, he said, "I'm going to call the police. I'm going to call the police." She probably said, "Well, go ahead." Or she said nothing while she sat on the phone and stayed at the premises. And then he called the police probably in front of her. And then knowing that the police were coming, she stayed there, you know, and and we can all and who knows what else happened prior to this that is ridiculous, but I think we can all agree objectively what I just described happened, right? Multiple opportunities to leave the premises after you got fired. >> My goddamn arm. >> Please let go of your bag. Thank you. I'll get your phone, >> bro. THIS IS TOO TIGHT. >> STOP. WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING WHILE YOU'RE STILL FIGHTING US. >> OH MY. [laughter] >> And we are not going to let you go. You Uh, no. >> No, I need to call my dad. >> You You want to call your dad? >> No, I need >> And if he's already on the way, we'll explain it when he gets here. >> OKAY. >> Can I get your phone again? >> Oh my god. >> Search it real quick. >> Anything in your pockets at all? >> Dude, he is so done. Anything in your pockets at all? port turned into >> kind like a cartoon character. >> No, I don't have it on me. >> Okay, >> have a seat. We're going to get some information from you. >> Sorry. Hold on. Is that a champion bag? >> Is your ID in your >> Champion bag? I love that bag. >> Bag? Ma'am? >> No, I don't have it on me. >> Okay. >> Have a seat. We're going to get some information from you. >> I don't want you to sit down. >> No, you don't. You have to sit. You lost that option. Go sit down. Take a minute. Sit down. >> EVERYBODY, THAT'S WHY DON'T WE >> We will get it figured out right now. You need to sit down. You are under arrest. Don't make me drag you INTO THE CAR. STAND DOWN. >> WEED. >> The father is on his way and will show up any minute to add more chaos to this situation. >> OH NO. [screaming] >> Oh no. What? Oh my god. >> What is your last name? >> I'm not telling you guys nothing until my day here. >> Okay. >> How old are you? >> What's going to happen when the dad gets here? >> How old are you? >> So, we can just take you down to the jail and then if they find out you're a juvenile, then we take you all the way to juvenile. >> Not a juvenile. >> Okay. So, how old are you? 19. >> Okay. What's your last name? >> Okay. Then we'll just take you down to the jail. They'll fingerprint you and you will stay in jail until you give your name or your fingerprints come back in a few days. >> Oh. >> Why are you being so difficult with us? >> Because you were being difficult with me. He doesn't EVEN WANT TO HEAR MY SIDE OF THE STORY. >> FIRST OF ALL, this is your side of the story. My officer asked you and then all they wanted you to do was leave and not come back. You did not want to get up and leave. They This is a business. They have a right to have someone not on their property. There's other people in there eating and trying to order and you're yelling. >> We just wanted you to >> Okay, but you [laughter] guys don't know the half of Popey. You're right. I know. And if you guys did, you guys probably wouldn't be arresting me. >> No, we're arresting you because you were pulling away and going. >> No, I wasn't pulling away. >> You%. And you have to give your name because there's a report that you're not allowed back here. >> Okay. Okay. I don't know what is about to happen with the dad here, but I'm picking up on something. walk with me for a second. I think this is the thing that a lot of people with a lot of like home trauma experience where they are in the home and they have maybe some kind of aggressive or maybe like narcissistic parent or just [ __ ] crazy parent or something and they have a lot of bad behaviors that are very okay in the home. Arguing, bickering, yelling, all these kind of different things. And then what happens is sometimes these kids go out into the world and they have their real job, their first real job and some of these behaviors get a little smoothed out in school, but when you're like at work, it doesn't fly. And to an extent, it's not entirely their fault because they're kind of learned behaviors that have been okay in the home for like 18 years, but then when you get to work, you can't [ __ ] do this stuff. Because like I'm kind of picking up that it seems like she's a little triggered right now and she probably has like a douchy boss that maybe has some aggressive qualities or remind her of something of her home life and she is reacting the way that she used to in the home and she's like triggered by it but she doesn't realize she needs to like snap out of it. And unfortunately this is like a really tough learning experience. That's all. That's all. >> You were pulling away and going >> I wasn't pulling away. You% were and we have it on video so it's fine. And you have to give your name because there's a report that you're not allowed back here. >> Okay. You guys didn't have no reason to put your hands on me. I freaked out the way I did. >> Put your hands on me. That's why. >> Do you think if you would have got up and walked out like we asked you to, this would have been happening? >> You definitely walk out. >> Yes, you do. >> And I would have got up and walked out. You guys had to pressure me. >> We literally said you have to leave and wait for you outside for your dad. >> Okay. >> What's your last name? >> First name. Haley. >> Dad was on his way. >> Yep. How long before you think he gets here? >> I don't know. He was at work. >> Oh, he's getting off work. >> Matthew 23. >> She was She just got permanated today. Not welcome back on the property. >> And also, she clearly did something crazy at work enough to get fired. >> He doesn't want He just wants her banned from here. Nothing else. >> Have you ever been arrested before? >> Like when I was like 12. >> Oh, what was that for? >> Oh, running away. But since >> you I I told you home life troubles. >> Well, let that one slide. And >> so criminal trespass and resisting. >> Yeah. The threat was I'm going to call my dad. He's going to come here and take care of me. That's the way. >> Oh god. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. He done that. >> And once again, we can understand but not excuse. They do have to call the police for that because she's being crazy and making everybody feel unsafe. And then she responds with, "Well, I'm not leaving and I'm gonna call my dad and he's going to come up here and take care of you." Yes, you do have to call the police. So, on one hand, we can understand she clearly has some behaviors from the home that make other people feel uncomfortable that are kind of not her fault, but she needs to get a grip on. And then two, we can understand why they called the police, right? I hope so. We can hold both at the same time. >> We I didn't get into the criminal trespassing component of it cuz normally it's a okay, you need to leave and told her to leave, but then she didn't. And then she got up to leave, but she wouldn't give her name or ID. So, that's when we grabbed her and stopped her. So, she was technically walking out. I'm assuming this is dad here behind you. >> Uhoh. >> Okay. Is he going to be nice? >> What's going on up here? >> This is hurting my wrist. Like, I had staples on it before. It's not going all the way. >> I got >> You had staples on what? >> On this one. >> Okay. >> I got a phone call to her manager. Something got into her face. told the manager that she was going to call him hering dad and that's when he said he was calling the cops threat but he got no right he doesn't need to be up in her face typical dad behavior so far >> both her stories is she was told cuz they had no customers to clean >> and she said no >> you said we've talked about this [laughter] [laughter] >> okay continue here on this guy for the last three weeks So they said, "Okay, you're terminated and we want her to leave." >> She said, "You have to leave." She said, "I'm not leaving." Said, "You have to leave. They don't want you here and we need your information cuz now we'll come back." She refused to get the information and then she started fighting my officers. >> Like I said, if you stay like that, it won't put more pressure on your wrist. It shouldn't be so bad. >> That's where we're go put the window down a little bit so you can talk. So, this is actually kind of nice of them because a lot of times they would not always allow somebody to talk to the person in custody. She's in custody at this point. We saw a previous body cam where the woman flash her boyfriend's badge to try to get out of a DUI. And when that lieutenant pulled up, he knew that they were not going to let him talk to her and he just had to drive off. So, them allowing him to talk to her while she's in custody is actually quite nice of them. I can't do this. I got it. You got it. Go put the window down a little bit soon. >> What the happened? >> He told me the police and I took the No. >> Calm down. Calm down. >> Calm down. >> Then they want to break me up and slam me up against the glass and >> the police. >> Okay, stop. Stop. >> Stop. Stop. >> Well, uh, Liz Heling said, "Dad's not as bad as I thought he would be." Yeah, I was curious what the dad was going to be like, but it I mean she ran away from home at one point. It could be the mom. It could even be a sibling or something, but in situations like this when like the mom is like kind of a monster, then the child will be like, "Yes, I'm going to call my dad because my dad's been the only person that has like protected me." You know, she didn't say, "I'm going to call my mom." So, we don't fully know, but that is just my little suspicion. >> The dad's not >> We're glad the police. Okay. >> But he's he's he's being nice so far. I like it. >> Stop. Stop. >> Unless >> Did they ask you your name? >> Why didn't you just tell him your name? >> I told him my name. >> Who the manager keeps getting your face? >> Jesse. >> His name is Jesse. >> How did it happen? What happened? What do you do? >> I'm sorry. Hold on one second. Yo, the dad wiping her tears like that. >> Stop. Did [laughter] they ask you your name? >> I'M SORRY. That is just some dad [ __ ] Haley. Haley, baby, stop crying. Stop. He just full on bear paw. [laughter] >> So, how did it happen? What happened? What do you do? Ask you to clean. >> He want to get smart and talk about something. You can grab a rag and grab this the soap and you can clean this off. >> Well, why are you fighting with the officers? >> I wasn't fighting with them. >> Why is your neck all red? >> Cuz they just slam you up against his glass. >> Don't fight. Don't argue with them, please. They had more charity. We'll we'll take care of this. Don't worry about it. >> All right. So, because we obviously you heard what we're call and she's 18. We're telling you this as a courtesy that >> she's being charged with obstructing ID >> and then resisting. Okay. So, she's going to go to jail for that. You'll be able to go down there and postpon or she can post. >> Wait, I smudged the camera. Did I? Squeaky sound effect. I'm just kidding. [laughter] >> I'M JUST KIDDING. >> OKAY. SO, SHE'S going to go to jail for that. You'll be able to go down there and postpone or she can postpone. She's got cash on her purse or something like that. It's up to her. >> You want to take her belongings? You want to give your stuff to him or whatever else? So, that way you left down. >> Okay. >> So, is it still over here? >> Yeah. >> What did you say your name was? >> Messy. >> Okay. >> You're not going inside right now, are you? Let's Let's not do that. >> One second. >> Let's Let's not do that. >> What? Hold on. You were doing good so far. >> Okay. >> You don't You don't need to go too for some stupid, man. >> I understand. 100%. Listen. Listen. We've dealt with >> both my daughters now for the last month. He wants to act like he's up. >> Is that the wife to go or get a hold of his boss? You know what I mean? Get a hold of his boss. Let him know the issues. >> Well, he's a district manager, so he's he's pretty high up the ladder. >> Well, there's people going to end up happening under the current >> I know. I'll go to jail. I understand we don't really want that either because then you do no good for anybody at that point. >> So I understand >> there's different ways to approach it. >> Okay. Where are we going to cooperate today? This this is enough for you guys to deal with for today, right? >> Love that bag. >> Agreed. >> Yep. >> Okay, fair enough. I appreciate that. >> The weed money on her. >> I'll take >> the weed. The weed or we the weed? >> Is weed Is it legal in Michigan? Is we legal in Michigan? Not going to do any, but just want to know. I don't want the Google AI tracking me >> for adults 21 and older. So, we're just being very nice today. Huh? >> There's two uh two baggies. >> It's not against the law, right? >> Well, >> yeah. It's got to be an approved container. You're not at home. >> All right. We're going to switch some handcuffs on you. Okay. You want to step on out? >> And you said your your one hand you had what? staples stitches in it from how long ago? >> Like two months ago. >> It's all healed up and stuff now though, right? >> You just do me a favor and just >> Are they not that close to me? >> Are they not taking her to jail? >> Hey, listen. Okay. I don't know what your intent is. Okay. I don't need you right on my back. >> Okay. When he politely asked you to step back, so he doesn't need to calm down. He asked you politely. Correct. >> He just did not want you that close. >> I told you this is a courtesy that you're even being involved in this cuz she's 18. Who's right there? >> Yeah, >> we're just going to put them in the front. Okay, fair enough. You're done fighting. >> Sorry. I apologize. >> Damn, they are. I get that it's a lot to deal with, especially Especially since you guys have had past issues with the same person. >> Are they letting her go home with his with a dad? >> It doesn't matter. Just go. It's going to be a few hours and I'll come down and get you out. Okay. >> Oh, no. Okay, they're just switching. This suspect was charged with resisting obstructing a peace officer. She is innocent unless proven guilty. And >> I mean, I get it. They got to say that, but h listen, I can try to understand a little tiny bit, but overall, yo, you got fired. Just go home. Day off, girl. Take the day off. Take some of them gummies. Imagine you got two bags full of uh edibles and the day off, girl. Enjoy it.
