welcome back to the body cam Zone on the 1st of November 2022 a man approaches the police and tells them of a friend of his who might have been drunk and driving the man gives a bit of the backstory in how a lady his friend lost control of the vehicle she was driving and got stuck on some path at the side of the water the officers follow the directions and get to the stock car where they find two ladies Alyssa and Sam If You observe closely the lady in the driver's seat Sam would be the one driving the car this tiny detail will help us understand the situation better the officers ask the ladies to step out of the car and since Sam the driver was stuck on the driver's side she gets out of the car from the passenger side just a quick recap Sam is the lady who was driving and Alyssa Sam's cousin was with her I don't know no we literally my car I was at Wawa I was parked on there all night work at Johnny D's and someone let us drive and yeah that's my niece who I was in the car when this thing got set up and why was it back over there why was it back here because we ended up at Wawa I was trying to get hurt in her cars my niece okay yeah but why is it back here you have no idea we haven't I was driving we have no idea we're at Johnny D's at work at Johnny D's I don't know my friend Jesus was driving when he ended up here sorry said Jesus like Jesus Take the Wheel he did though tell me I'm like something right online Jess when the ladies get out the officers ask questions about what had happened and how the car got off the road Sam confirmed that she was driving but she had no idea how the car got off the road she then later tries to explain that Jesus was the one driving he asked Jesus she also adds that her mom is on the way to pick her up and tries to pretend like this was just a tiny issue that could have been resolved in minutes she then says that she wasn't driving and that her friend from work had driven her there so at this point it's pretty evident that she's under the influence of alcohol right your dad is Dave Blake tell me in line her best friend was driving his name is [ __ ] Jesus he was just a Jesus [ __ ] Halloween and we ended up here her mom is on the way and we're left already are you guys injured no no we're good my car this is my brand new car I'm just like sex I don't know what the [ __ ] going on my car I never go out I ended up in [ __ ] Daytona that [ __ ] Razzles like I'm lit we're just going to make sure that you guys aren't no we're good okay Jess is supposed to be here that's my mom-in-law's my other mom Melissa Melissa You're Gonna Save Us what we called you don't even try that I'm glad you think this is funny because no it's not funny but Melissa and Jess they should be calling me because they're the ones that like they know what's going on I don't think they do and I don't think you do either almost Melissa her mom is Jess oh I know her mom her mom is my best friend Mama's best friend okay the officer now reads her rights to her and asks her to get closer for more questioning she pulls her niece with her and when asked who was driving she again lies that it wasn't her and this time she tries to drag her niece Alyssa into the LIE all right what's your name listen to me real quick okay you have the right to remain silent anything you say may be used as evidence again you have the right to talk to an attorney and have him here with you now or anytime during questioning let me finish if you cannot afford an attorney one will be appointed to represent you yes sir if at any time you wish to stop talking or have an attorney present all questioning will be stopped at your request do you understand these rights sorry but I'll have no reason to get arrested I'm not saying I'm just reading letting you go I'm not putting that was my car I was not driving though the last time I was at Wawa is the last time I was on my car okay and you can ask her you can ask her right she wasn't here though she wasn't here that was my niece I drove her from Daytona so she's cool and I'm good not yet so call my mom so what about her dad I'm 24. okay I don't need to go so I drove her home good no not my car we drove her car okay you told me before that you did drive I did from Wawa okay I did not drive my car call my mom why were you sitting behind the driver's seat putting on my mom I didn't just get out the passenger side no you climbed over from the driver's side I didn't put on my passenger side so call my mom call my mom she's Dave best friend call her call him call him I'm not trying to not I promise you I'm not trying to not but I promise you call my mom okay hold on that's just best friends so tell them I was driving you got proof I was driving I saw you behind the driver's seat oh yeah because that's part of the passenger side and your passenger because I just got on the passenger side call Dave call Dave call Dave call Dave call Dave give me my phone Sam has now taken to the police car in handcuffs and as she's being taken there you can hear her throwing words at Alyssa for not siding with her [Music] Dave's coming yeah um yes I know I've seen you at their house wait when you got here so she called you and said she wrecked up yeah she was like I'm stuck and I was like all right I'm coming just don't go too far thank you you guys find an ID for that one did you guys find an ID when you got the dog [ __ ] yeah oh he died [ __ ] your head move your foot are you willing to participate in field sobriety exercises that's fine okay you will yeah but I didn't drive
