hackers there and so I went that way to
see if I'd see him she goes they're not
going to stay on the road turned around
came back and a car just hauls ass out

but I'm not fast and they weren't going
but they're all over the place right so
they pulled over and the girl that you
got out down there Emily uh she was
throwing up oh so they actually were
pulled over I I pulled them over so my
wife got to find them I said yeah they
just pulled away I said I'm going to
turn around and I turned around the
intersection and they turned left here
and all of sudden she just hauled and I
was like holy sh they not know this
corner is coming up right obviously they
didn't so I came up quite a bit slower
after them and I missed him I went by I
saw then my Mir I saw his dust so I hit
the brakes and I was talking a 911 at
that time I uh I think they went in the
ditch I'm backing up so I backed up and
I said yeah they're in the ditch I you
better sit in the UL so I can hear them
screaming okay what was your what's your
name I know they got it but for me so is
that that's your truck that uh that
other girls yeah the girl sitting in
there she just asked if you can sit in
there I said fine I think her name's

sure if they lost the tire hit something

feet right before the turn and then as
the hit her brakes okay so she tried to
lock it her brakes and everybody went

faster than 60 but who knows well it it
does appear everybody is okay as of

with hitting your head and different
stuff what happens later but I didn't

really hurt I did have some cuts and

car because she was in the front seat

the positive in this situation for
sure okay so I have to do trust me I'm
sure you've heard it before but no one
drives better drunk what's up guys John
here I appreciate you watching I can't
tell you how many times I arrested and
transported DUIs and a lot of the time
these people were so impaired they
didn't even realize that they injured
themselves someone else or Worse to be
completely candid with you being a
police officer isn't always involving a
gunfight or an arrest sometimes it's
speaking to people on a relatable level
and having empathy or sympathy and
understand understanding that these
people that you're dealing with are
going through something and that's why
police officers wear many hats sometimes
we counselors referees or mentors some
of the most meaningful and memorable
moments I've had with people were of the
younger generation I've had the
privilege of speaking into their lives
in the minimal amount of time that I had
I attempted to steer them in the right
direction because the path that they
were on was not going to end well in
this particular case we see three young
women out drinking with fake IDs and
they make the pivotal decision of
getting behind the wheel start the
engine and then driving away I've seen
this many times we started out as a
night of fun can turn into a nightmare
and one decision can change your life
and the life of many others in an
instant and the legal blood alcohol
content is 08 the young woman's BAC was
183 that's more than double the legal
limit so they were extremely fortunate
to make it out of this accident in one
piece now this video was hard to watch
for me being a parent I can't imagine
getting a call like this from the police
and them explaining to me that my
daughter just drove her vehicle into a
ditch however people make bad decisions
in life and when these women sobered up
I sincerely hope and pray that they
realize that this is a wakeup call
because next time the situation could
end a whole lot worse that was a great
job by all the First Responders and all
the people who arrived on scene and help
those young women out guys it's all I
have be safe and I'm going to see you on
the next one Lexi was arrested on
suspicion of drunk driving causing
injury she's presumed innocent until
proven guilty in a court of law
