home in Tampa Florida mistakenly took a wrong turn causing his car to become stuck on railroad tracks Tampa police officers responded to the scene but instead of offering help they initiated an encounter marked by accusations of misconduct the man was cooperative yet hesitant to hand over his ID citing his right to [Music] privacy that's right let me have them tell you let me have them tell that's that that's the only thing he's getting charged with is battery person off we can't we don't we can't charge him with the Bui unfortun so if you got lucky in that aspect ultimately the man was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer a third deegree felony under Florida law however no further updates have been made whether the charges were dropped or not but hold on to your seats because this next case unfolds as a delusional female cop makes up her own laws on September 21st 2023 a First Amendment auditor visited a school property in Fruitland Park Florida to make a public records request from the administration building however this seemingly straightforward task quickly escalated when he encountered officer posie from the Fruitland Park Police Department Hi how are you good how you doing I'm I'm offic officer POS Park Police Department all right I'm I don't need to talk to you okay all right I need to do a public records request for Florida Chapter 119 okay before you get into the school I need your ID not going to happen okay well you have a nice day are you refusing my public records request have a nice day thank you9 that's what I'm about to do what' you say uh right 102 with 13 two 104 he's on foot right now I'm in front of the school with him I need your ID sir why is that because you're on the school property right now and you're causing a ruckus so how am I causing a ruckus protected activity protected activity which here it's a white male he has his camera out he's talking about some Constitution stuff the situation unfolded further when the officer dismissing the auditor's legal explanations solicited a trespass order from the school principal this act not only contradicted the auditor's rights but also displayed a blatant misuse of authority when a sergeant arrived one might have expected a resolution however the mergent also failed to acknowledge the auditor's rights suggesting that he visit a different location to make his records request even though the requested records were at the school okay business okay so the principal doesn't want you here not right now least do you have any kids I love this thank do you have any kids that come to the school I I don't answer questions well you have no business being on the property okay I'm here to do legitimate ofap do have children that come public records request you a sergeant should know that sir that's the law I recommend you get on your uh computer right now before you constitute or violate my constitutional rights and check chapter you can do that Posey's actions her solicitation of the trespass order despite the lack of legitimate grounds showcased misconduct and a violation of public trust but wait for this next case where a female cop gets fired on May 9th 2023 in Palm Beach Gardens Florida a dispute at an apartment complex pool escalated into an alarming confrontation Ryan gold was swimming last when Anna Ivanova requested he'd change his Direction gold refused leading to a collision and a verbal altercation Ivanova called her husband benedetto Salvia who arrived and joined the dispute upon arrival she instructed gold to keep his hands out of his pockets gold protested stating he was unarmed and only reaching for his phone come man how you doing hands out your pockets for me I'm not the one sir I don't keep your hands out of chard's residence they found Haley her mother and her son Devon sitting in a vehicle outside the house officer Dyer approached and the encounter escalated quickly hello hey what's up hey did you live here um my daughter's living here is she in in this is that 893 yeah it is hang on one second for me okay something wrong well we got called to check on a child what child I don't know they didn't charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest while her son Devon was also charged with disorderly conduct the officers released chard's 15-year-old daughter who had been handcuffed during the encounter all charges against Gerard and her son were dismissed in April 2022 subsequently Gerard and her children filed a federal lawsuit alleging constitutional violations and excessive force on September 21st 2023 a settlement was reached with Gerard's minor daughter receiving $10,000 officer Simmons involved in similar misconduct cases was fired in December 2022 but rehired by another department shortly after if you thought that was worse wait for this next one on February 12th 20121 officer Katie profer of the University of Central Florida Police Department encountered 19 18-year-old UCF student Sophia in a parking lot in Orlando Florida Sophia sitting inside her vehicle admitted to drinking at a house party and stated that she chose to remain parked rather than drive under the influence hello I'm officer proper how are you guys how are you good hi all right so what's going on tonight were you fell asleep in here or what yeah honestly just fell asleep okay have you been drinking honestly honestly okay where did you come from um just came from a house party and we figured it was safer to sit here we were dropped off I didn't feel comfortable driving so we were ma'am so your car was sitting here okay have you guys been smoking weed at all too no ma'am don't do drugs I work don't have anything open in the car I just didn't want to drive intoxicated so we're herself or others the situation escalated into a DUI investigation officer profer initiated field sobriety tests or fsts to assess impairment following her arrest Sophia's vehicle was inspected to resolve her case Sophia agreed to a DUI diversion contract which included community service DUI school a victim impact class and other penalties what is your name my again my name is Sophia Sophia you so much thank you criticism arose regarding the officer's decision to arrest Sophia despite her efforts to avoid driving intoxicated Florida law criminalizes being in actual physical control of a vehicle while impaired but alternative measures to ensure her safe return home could have been considered Sophia's decision to cooperate fully answer questions and undergo fsts provided evidence against her highlighting the importance of invoking the right to remain silent during such investigations but hold on to your seats because this last case is more shocking than the others on April 7th 2018 officers Courtney Brown and Christy Wilson of the Roswell Police Department pulled over Sarah Webb for allegedly speeding on her way to work in duth Georgia as officer Brown approached her vehicle he informed M web that she was driving over 80 mph on a wet Road accusing her of reckless driving stay in the car sorry my window doesn't hold off the brown Rosell Police Department you know how fast you were just going ma'am I'm so sorry I'm late for work so you could go over 80 m per hour on 92 no ma'am you have your driver's license and your insurance card yeah my insurance turn off
