that symbol is tarnished by officers who take lives and even more seem to find joy in it he knocked out or he ain't dead is he but she is [Laughter] here are several instances when cops celebrate after someone starting with the sad case of Tony timer a schizophrenic who had called officers for help but met a sad End by the hands of those same Law Enforcement Officers no help me don't do don't do okay I'm down I'm down I'm down please you want twist your body out the right no it's good I'm just worried about him is he knocked out or buy hope I in August 2016 Tony timer who was suffering from schizophrenia had a mental breakdown which occurred due to him not taking his medication and ingesting illegal narcotics not knowing what else to do he called the police for help but that decision turned out to be the worst of his life because when the officers got to him the reaction was not what he expected help me hey what's up hey look Tony look at me bro hey Tony chill out man God cops did CPR for a few minutes but they were met with unfavorable results this is when they realized that their actions just cost a man his life me some think we have any IDE I have no idea hey Sergeant Sergeant is that his driver's license how old is he 84 32 oh he was born in 84 32 years old just had his2 bir birthday all right um what y want to swipe out you got it y want go to park eventually in September 2023 a jury found three officers liable for Tony's wrongful death and awarded his son the sum of $1 million this followed a December 2 21 decision allowing The Temper family to go to trial earli in 2020 a civil lawsuit was dismissed due to qualified immunity and criminal charges against the officers were dropped in 2019 moving on to these officers who unlawfully a guy who they pulled over for a DUI get off of me dude a a that's a little hurt a on a fateful night officers stopped a suspected drunk driver and proceeded to search him they had found illegal narcotics hidden in his socks and claimed that the man started resisting after that the officers had also claimed that the man began them so they had to [Applause] [Music] retaliate no quit it stop it get off of me dude hey give me one person right here the suspect was then taken to the hospital where the officers laughed at the injuries they inflicted on him yeah which way oh we p in the over all over a yeah that's a little hard said don't bring him back just wrap his head up wrap set him yeah draws blood y oh yeah screw yep yeah it was quite excit yep it was good effort oh very good doing that hey how are you good to see you Happ you show a how bad is it most of that was the first time for some reason he thought he the second the second one probably was from the door that's what I think keep your head down you got to be a man man man up it was eventually revealed through surveillance footage that the man was not resisting or attacking the officers as they were only shown beating the man to a pulp the officers were placed on administrative leave and were rebuked by the chief of police next we have this police officer who wrongfully arrested a young man and left him with serious injuries you imch a description of someone trying to break into people's cars um I'm not breaking anyone's car I mean hopefully this is the guy at this point man I just saw legs go up I'm like on March the 4th 2022 an officer responded to a dispatch's call who suspected a man of trying to break into Vehicles once he found a guy who matched the description the officer didn't bother to verify before taking dramatic and unnecessary measures let me see your hands let me see your hands take your hands your pockets turn your CH excuse me being entertained bud don't take your back back off um take your backp off excuse me what am I doing take your back back off um can you explain what this before you go on the ground take your back back off I'm going going to get picked up for work come on like God damn it fall in 1010 okay his in the end it was determined that the man was not guilty of breaking into cars but was charged with obstruction even after being wrongfully detained it was also determined that due to the body slam he had fractured bones and a ruptured eard drum which resulted in a $75,000 medical bill for which the officers were sued next is the case of these police officers who harrass a man for no reason at all coming out come on come on out come on come on you think you're a tough guy on February the 17th 2018 officers got into a spat with Gustavo Alvarez in his own home for doing absolutely nothing at all the encounter was very disturbing as the officers were anything but ethical but why you chase me down if you know it was it was me for sure was that I'm asking you you know I was me the driver you know for sure that was me hey I'm asking one more time no hey do you know I wasn't driving okay this is the you're not answering me you're not answering me I want you to come over to my car right now I'm over here I'm in my house so you're going to do anything about it you have a warrant to get my house you're legally detained you're running away why Gustavo why you going to detain me for what cuz I know you're driving with a suspended license popped out of this car when I saw you Chas me down who you know who was driving I didn't I so why you Chas me down I drove by you know you guys said Chase me down I'm like you cannot come in my house we're here now come on out come on out we're going to break down the door Cory come on out or we're going to watch excuse me think the officers told gustavo's family what was going on and were very nasty and condescending about it even while saying a bunch of nothing do you speak a little English here come on come on down just so you can get out of the light come on down are you is this your dad no uh Gustav he was driving in the car he driving the car he can't be driving his license is suspended M and when the officer went to pull him over he ran inside you can't do that we're going inventory before releas anything so for problem and him were defying the police tell and you were inside you can't do that that's why no not you okay Gustavo and him were telling the police to go away you can't do that so we kick the door and we have every right to do that and that is the problem with him for defying the police so we could charge him with the crime too but we're not going to do that he can just go fix his door and that can be his punishment he cannot defy the police okay but he's very lucky he's not going to jail he should be going to jail we don't need a warrant the the the crime occurred with the officer watching it we don't need a warrant to come inside not tonight and so if he wants to play those games that's why the door got broken so he he needs to get a little smarter here because like I said if he's very lucky he's not going to jail okay this isn't play time in the end Gustavo
