Officers park a few blocks away from the 7-Eleven entrance to meet with the store owner after she notices one of her employees showcasing an alarming pattern during his usual 4:00 a.m. work shift. >> So, what's going on? >> Okay. I'm going to give it back to you, okay? Your bosses? If you own the store, okay? We have video surveillance of you in the back of the store with that crate and you putting stuff inside the crate, specifically store merchandise, okay? Tell you what I saw, all right? You had two crates, one stacked one stacked on top of the other, all right? Like you were doing that, you put stuff in the crate. You also went from behind the store towards the front of the store, grabbed some more, took the crate back there. Whatever drinks you have in your hand, put it in the crate. With that crate, put that crate came outside, put that stuff that contents of the crate, as well as the crate, in the your trunk. Okay? And also, apparently, there have been several instances in which you've done it where your house will have camera footage of you doing it, too. So, you need to be honest with me. Why or why did you take the stuff from the back of the store, put it in the crate, put it in your trunk? >> Listen, I'll stop talking, man. >> Stop talking? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Let me say right now. I think >> Goodies. >> Oh, it's like almost like the stuff that he took out of the store. How about that one? >> No, that was none of We only We only saw this one. >> So, that one was already in here from the security camera footage. >> time. >> Yeah, this one is the one he took from the back. >> But, he's already over here. >> Hm? >> Why is this You said you said about having a 10-80 come over he's already >> Oh, yeah. That's why I was I was trying to see if he was >> called being claustrophobic, man. >> You couldn't breathe? >> Yeah, um >> There's air coming to the back of you and into the back here, so just got to calm down, take some deep breaths. You'll be all right, man. >> I'm good, man. >> Okay. >> I'm just >> Okay. >> I'm just about to get off of the issue, man. >> I got you. Well, this this doesn't help that. We just tried to What we tried to do is get him off the wall and turn him over on his back on his stomach, but he wasn't going for it. He didn't throw any punches or anything like that. It was it was just a >> Well, two things were happening. And he's not all banged up, right? >> No. >> All right. >> No, he's the best one out of it. He's the >> Okay. All right. Just trying to make sure. >> Okay. >> So, what did What did we have here? He works here. >> I thought he would have gotten fired. >> They did they Listen. >> We were trying to figure out >> They purposely didn't do that so they can catch footage of him so we can 10-15 him 10-15 him that moment. So, they didn't fire him. >> I figured they would have fired him then. >> No, they didn't >> Okay. Okay, got it. So, he >> for this moment purposely. >> So, he was loading stuff into his thing. Clerk called you. Said, "Hey, he's loading out. I got the video." Then, you went to detain him and that's when he resisted. >> All right, we're good. That's crazy. Do we have confirmation that that's theirs or not? >> Come again? >> Do we have confirmation that that's theirs or >> The orange thing? >> Yeah. >> Red Bulls and Tropicana's and Gatorade and 7-Eleven. >> Tropicana's and Gatorade and 7-Eleven. Gatorade and 7-Eleven. >> It's going to be VOP, too. He's on probation. >> Cool. >> Uh, aggravated battery. Who would have thought? Sorry about slamming you. >> Uh, let's tally this up. >> Yeah, let me grab pictures of all the different drinks. >> Okay. >> Cuz we have Do all the Do all all normal Are these normally discounted? >> No. But, like when you Yeah, cuz when you ring it up on the store, when you ring it up on the store system, it'll give you like the store loyalty discount. If I do once I do the void, it won't show the discounts, right? >> We could just add the whatever the discounts are, we could just add it to the total. >> All right, so it'll be 60 20 plus total >> Total, yeah. >> So, 80 24. Um, >> These are like last week. >> So, I got stuff we took last week or >> Yeah, uh, like last Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. >> Is that all included from what what before? week? >> Like the audit stuff? >> Like the Let me ask you this. You say that's from an audit. >> No, this is Okay, so when we had our audits, we found the shortage of the 15,000. So, we started watching the tapes last week and then we saw him do the stuff last week, so we started tallying it up. And then >> So, you have video proof for last week or no? >> Yeah, last week's videos we have. >> No, the my phone, the one that's working, it's inside. There should I'm I'm Let me tell you directly where it is. >> it I know we have it. >> You have it and there was a purple there was a purple headphone inside of it. >> He said he put it in his bag. >> Did Gavin ever put anything >> This one's different from the other two, so I'm assuming it's this one. >> That one's a much nicer case than the other two and the screen is cracked on that one. The other two they weren't. So, yeah, that's the one. >> Yeah, that one. >> Okay. It was in my backpack as I was driving here to unload for an hour. I didn't hook the little Velcro thingy. So, like is it in the back now? >> him he just like he kept he kept like going like against the wall. We kept trying to turn him over. He would just wasn't going. >> He's solid. >> Yeah, like dude, yeah, he's Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I actually that's why We tried to we tried to turn him over. >> He's still muscling. It was like you had to just ask him to do it. Not that you guys weren't putting in the same. >> Yeah, no, he >> He turned and saw me and he's like, "Oh, I know you." I thought it was my favorite line. It's funny that everybody out here on the street has no issues with me. It's the people we work with that don't like me because everybody else has got no issues. Ask her out. >> Yeah. >> Even Donald, I'll bet you next time I see Donald, he's my best friend again. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. And in case nobody told you, you're getting terminated. >> Yeah, I thought you did it. >> Yeah, that's all right. >> Is it okay if I sit right here in the middle so I can you some more air? Please. >> Oh, yeah. All right. >> I'm going to steal the lobster so. I just wanted to ask you about something. Oh, I was just asking, man, how bad is this looking for me? >> Yeah. >> I won't have to go before a judge to get a bond. I have no shame, man. Y'all can just say it. Y'all can just say it. >> As a result of his actions, the 33-year-old man was immediately terminated from his employment, effective immediately, and formally trespassed from the location for a period of 1 calendar year. He managed to obtain the crate of different stolen items, calculating to be a total of $101.24, including Gatorade, aloe vera drinks, Red Bulls, and other various drinks. He was given two charges under Florida Statute 812.014, petty theft property valued at $100 through $750. This is a first-degree misdemeanor where you're simply taking or using someone else's property without their permission with the intent to keep or to deprive it from the owner. His second charge under Florida Statute 812.02 was resisting an officer or obstructing an officer without violence. When you're knowingly resisting, obstructing, or opposing a law enforcement officer who is legally carrying out their official duties without using violence. As he mentioned [music] during this time, he was on probation, and as a result, he violated his probation. On both charges, petty theft and resisting an officer without violence, the man was convicted guilty. And if you're wondering if the 33-year-old man received any probation or jail time, well, as a result, he was sentenced to 59 days inside county jail. He also paid a bit over $400 in court costs and fines, and was ordered to pay the money back or restitution to 7-Eleven. I did look into other charges on him, but surprisingly, I wasn't able to locate any other charges, even considering that the store owners had mentioned that he's done this previously multiple times that week. [music] So, I'm not too sure what's going on there, but let me know your honest thoughts down below in the comment section. Stay safe out there, and I'll see you in the next video. >> All right. >> Tell me what I'm being arrested for. >> Relax. >> Just please, please, man. >> We'll explain in a second. >> Hey. >> We're explaining in a second. >> please, please, please. >> We're explaining in a >> No, just listen to me, please. >> We're explaining in a >> I please talk?
