Okay, let me let me let me ask you something. Where where do you live? >> Where I live makes no relevancy. >> Well, it does because you're you're you're you're obviously not very clear with Florida state law. >> [music] >> You can't be that embarrassed about it. You had a stranger do it. So, >> I'm not a stranger. >> It was a friend. >> Professional. >> Okay, I got you. >> He's a professional. >> We're all professionals. >> Step out and you have this professional. >> We're all professionals. Is it like a dermal? >> Is it >> Where's the dermal at? Like, is it here? >> No. No. We're So, we're not understanding because typically there's not a metal piece in someone's lower back. >> No, that's piercings. I'm It's real. >> I believe it's real. I'm just trying to figure out how we kind of get to this conclusion. Where is the piercing? >> So, here's here's the thing. What did you have pierced? So, hold on. >> I mean, you had to tell the Since you want to step in here. >> Yep. You have a tattoo artist. Where do you want >> Pierce? So here here's here's the thing. >> So you're an adult, right? Yeah. >> I don't know. You're apparently new here. >> She's 19. She's >> right. So you're an adult, right? So here's the deal. Like you go if I I don't know exactly how this is going to go, but one of the cards on the table is you're going to jail today. >> Wait, what? >> Correct. Depending on what those are, there's a possibility that you may go to jail today. >> Right. So >> just because someone reported, >> you have illegal substances in your possession. >> Not everyone at school does too. >> Everybody. >> Every single kid. >> Not every single kid, but some do. >> And matter of fact, >> so you're not you wouldn't be the first kid I arrested this school year. >> So here's >> And I can promise you, you're not going to be the last. I don't want to be arrested. >> Okay. This is not how life goes. You don't get to choose. When you bring illegal stuff to a high school, >> when you bring illegal stuff to a high school, what you want kind of goes out the window. I don't know if you understand that. >> But >> so here here's my thing is I think that what you have is the pen that these screw into. >> No, I don't. >> Right here. >> I don't. That's someone else's. >> Okay. It's someone else. All right. So you have it. >> You don't have any took it. >> Who took it? Is it someone who goes to school here? >> The person that literally probably named me here. >> Okay. So, what I'm thinking is you have something >> stairs. >> You have something right here. You already you decided it was a good idea to take in possession all this stuff knowing it's illegal >> and that you're an adult. >> And that you're an adult. >> Yeah. >> Why? I didn't I didn't know that someone was going to tell on me that I was holding their stuff. >> Who was it? >> She was blonde with glasses. >> So So it's a stranger now. >> No, it's not a stranger. I've known her. So what's her name? >> Never got her name. >> You never So it's a somebody you don't even know their name. >> Glasses in blonde and she asked me for my name. I never asked. >> So she asked you for your name, then proceeded to give you felonious items. Items that can result in a felony criminal charge for you to hold. And when were you going to meet up? When are we going to give it back to this person? >> Like in the bathroom later? >> What bathroom? >> Like I don't know. >> They go into different bathrooms. >> So So how were you going to give it back to them? What was the plan? So people just give people stuff and just say I will find you later. >> Yeah, >> that's how it works. This is the first I'm hearing of this. Very rarely is it that much of a shadow. >> But today she did ask me, "Hey, can you hold this shit?" And then ask me my name and then now I'm right here for the first time ever for this type of stuff and I'm about to get arrested. You know it's illegal. If I give you a gun and I say you hold it for me, are you going to hold it? Okay. So, if I give you fentanyl, are you going to hold it for me? >> No, it's just that. [sighs] >> I didn't know. >> I give you crack. You going to hold it for me? >> Who do you live with? >> Grandma. She has cancer. >> So, what are you doing? What are you You're an adult. What are you doing? This is how you solve it? By offering drugs to kids on campus. This is how you kids. What do you think? What do you think? No, those are not mine. >> Okay. Why are you holding drugs? >> They're for my friend. >> That's being depressed or that's being >> No, >> I think being depressed and holding drugs for your friend are two different things, my friend. >> Yeah, I'll come for you. >> Thank you. >> No. Oh my god. They're not mine. So, why are you holding them? >> Unfortunately, I just want you to understand. >> No, I understand. You don't have to dumb it down. If this person doesn't if we can't locate this person, this person doesn't come forward and identify it as theirs, you're going to be responsible for it. >> And you are. >> No, I know I am. And that's why I'm really stressed out. >> Okay. And so whatever you have on your person, cuz I think you Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> I'm not arrested anyway. >> Stop. I'm going to turn it over to law enforcement. So whatever >> I don't have anything. >> So whatever you have, you got to just give it to Mrs. We're going to step out. You're going to give it to Mrs. Duon and it's going to go with this. >> I don't have anything. >> Okay. Then this then this is what happens because it is now turned over to law enforcement and law enforcement has a female officer come in in a secluded room and they search you. >> So here's the deal. And if that's if it goes that way, if it doesn't, then you're going to go to the jail and they're going to search you. >> They're going to search you at the jail. If you bring something to the jail, it's a felony, an additional felony. So right now, if you have anything, we're gonna It is important that you just give it to us. >> We're trying to help you. This is done. If you have something on you, they will escort you to the jail. They will search you there. If you have something on you at the jail, >> you're going to search at the jail. >> Every person that comes into the jail. >> I know that >> they do full searches. >> So you have something like >> Where is the Where is the Where's the piercing located? >> Near my ass. Is it like >> Do we not have any more awkward questions? Please, I'm already going to jail for the first time. I feel like I feel like I feel like I feel like we're all being adults about this situation. [bell] >> Okay, >> this is my first time. I'm going to jail. I got you. >> How do you think I'm feeling? >> I I understand that, but I'm we're trying to have an adult conversation here. I understand. Again, you chose to get this piercing, [snorts] so it's like >> can't be that much of a surprise. We're having this conversation. Well, I need to ensure that I need to ensure that what's going on here is [snorts] that's actually what it is. >> Yeah, I understand that. >> So, I I've been nothing but professional with you. Obviously, I'm frustrated by the situation because like I don't understand why you're not understanding what's going on. >> I don't understand that. Can I use the bathroom? >> I I pee. You cannot use the restroom at all. >> I need enough to get a couple of these. I'm pretty sure these are these are THC for sure. >> Mhm. She said that they that they're THC. >> Yeah. >> So, they probably are. >> Yeah, they are. I arrested someone before spring break for this same brand. >> So, if this other person gave you up and that's what you're saying, besides blonde and glasses, what does this person look like? >> She's tan. >> And what bathroom was this? Did this take place in? >> What bathroom? >> And what time? >> Oh my god. Do you not recall? >> I've heard some of my other friends say that some people love to tell on them on purpose, even if they also smoke as well. >> People Someone telling on somebody else. >> No, they have hate. You have no idea. >> Blonde tan glasses. What restaurant was it? >> Um I think one second. Where? Wait, wait, wait, wait. Um, what classroom was it here? What class were you leaving? >> I have to remember which bathroom. Wait. Uh, downstairs and um, second family. >> Building two. We're >> right here. Two downstairs. What time? >> They just asked me my name. But you said they also asked you to hold stuff. >> No, I didn't give them anything. >> No, they asked you said that this person asked you to hold their stuff for them. >> Yeah. >> So, it was downstairs between what classes? >> Um, fifth. >> So, it's during fifth. >> Yeah. >> Or >> And I heard someone nearby say, "Oh, watch out. There's a tattletail in here." >> In the middle of fifth period. >> Yeah. Either >> during class, during or before, or after. >> During, before, or after >> that's like an hour time frame. >> That doesn't really help me. I'm We're trying to help. We're trying to help you >> ask you before. >> Before >> downstairs 200 before fifth period. >> In the bathroom. >> In the bathroom. Okay. >> Do you remember what she was wearing? >> Not as much. She have any distinguishing features? Glasses. >> Tan glasses. Downstairs 200 building restroom >> before fifth period is the one that she >> She gave you the stuff in the bathroom or outside of the bathroom? >> Inside. If it was outside, I'm pretty sure the camera was >> like in the in front of the bathroom or in the bathroom. Inside of the bathroom. Okay. >> She She gave her that stuff and asked her her name. >> Hey, what's your name? I said Natalia and then I left. >> Okay. Well, break it down for me the whole situation. Just some from the VA. >> Well, I went to the restroom. Okay. >> Talking to some of my friends. >> Okay. >> And then she um she was like, "Hey, can you >> She was in there. She came in after." >> She was in there. She came in and I'm pretty sure some of her friends were smoking with her. >> Did you see them? >> Yeah. >> Okay. See, you you're not pretty sure you you saw them smoking. >> And uh one of her friends like, "Oh, remember last time?" And then, you know, and then she came. >> No, I don't know what that means. >> Like, I don't like it's because of >> I can't arrest you. I can't charge you for you buying weed in the past. So, if that's what you did or what happened in the past, I can't >> Oh my god. You're just not waiting. Okay. So, >> you're not explaining it. So, she came up to me after me talking to her friend and then she's like, "Hey, can you hold my stuff and then she um I was about to leave. She's like, "What's your name?" And then I say, "Natalia." And then I leave. >> What was her friend's name? >> How did she give it to you? Like in your hand? In the bag. >> In my hand. >> In your hand. Wow. God bless. >> She's 19. >> She's 19. >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> There. I mean, there's enough for sure to to get from for this one. I don't know what it is, but these are legit from California based on uh I made a 1015 before spring break, but she had these in there, too. These are >> this is packaging. >> This the packaging for these neon ones. >> And it's uh Yeah, yeah, this is like the real stuff. >> So, wait. Sorry. >> Oh, yeah. I mean, with her being 19, like >> she's not to take the ride. >> Mhm. >> So, how did she hand these? >> She's like, "Can you can you hold these? These are empty." >> And you said, "Sure." >> Yeah. They're empty. >> Are they though? >> Yeah. You sure about that? I mean, some of these have THC oil in them. You >> just told me they're empty. I guess at one point they stopped working. >> Sure. >> Or you told me. >> Um, you should know not to take things from strangers, especially that are drugged related. I think that's what you should know versus whether they're empty or not. >> I mean, common sense, unfortunately. kind >> being kind by taking drugs or use drug >> par. Don't use drugs. They're saying, "Oh, taking the carts from someone that wanted you to hold them for a bit and then she asks you your name." >> If you want to church them up, if you want to church it up however you want, >> church it. I'm not I'm not Christian. >> That's it's a figure of speech. This is not like What I'm saying is you're taking it and you're sugar coating. >> It's not sugar coating. So, taking drug paraphernalia from somebody, >> you put pronouns on it. The >> That's what it is. It's drug paraphernalia. >> Okay. In the eyes of the law, there's no uh possession of a cart. It's possession of a THC oil. Possession of paraphernalia. Right? So, I speak in legal terms. I don't care what the kids say. What? Cuz the kids are the reason why you're in this position. >> No, I know that. >> So, let's not talk like kids. Let's talk like adults. I nearly went to jail in Miami because this girl said I had a gun at school. They checked my bag and everything and I even showed them the text messages of her going to my house literally fighting me. And also they found nothing. It was my birthday. >> Sure. I understand that is a situation that >> Did you live in Miami? Cuz I thought you came from Georgia. Did you live in Miami? >> I came from Miami then I went to Georgia cuz my mom moved us. Oh >> yeah. I don't know what the situation was in Miami. I have nothing to do with that. Um what I can tell you is we have illegal. >> You're going to have to watch out a ton of kids. >> We're in the process of doing that. >> No, they're becoming drug addicts. >> I understand them. That's why school students, too. >> I'm That's why I'm here. >> Wait, why elementary school students? because of people like you who are engaging in allowing this stuff to continue instead of coming and notifying people about what's going on. >> Excuse me. To be honest, >> that's not >> If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. I'm sorry to tell you that. >> Yeah, true. But also, >> what's up? >> Trolls on the way. >> Okay. >> They're going to bring I mean, we know what it is. >> Yeah. >> How >> why she got so many >> said someone did it to her. Her friend told her no. A girl that asked her name asked her to hold them. >> All six of them. >> I knew her. >> Yeah. But you don't know. You know, you don't even know her name. >> Of course. I didn't know her name. I >> She told you to hold the boxes, too. >> They looked pretty. She's like, "You want them?" >> You don't want to help yourself out or do you want to go to jail today? Like, what do you want to do? >> I don't want to go to jail. So, some mysterious female told you, "These boxes look pretty. Do you want them?" And gave you six vials of THC. That That's the story. >> She literally asked me in the restroom. >> Yes or no? >> Yes. >> Okay. What restroom? >> Down. We got all that info. They're trying to pull cameras. >> So, when I go sit in my cameras and I go downstairs, too, she's got >> I'm going to see a female >> come out and then you come out. >> No, I came out first. I said, she asked me my name before I left. >> What she look like? >> Blonde, glasses, tan. >> What's she wearing? >> What color? Blonde. >> Blonde. >> What's she wearing? Glasses >> wearing. >> Yeah. >> What normal teenagers, girls wear? >> Give me a color. Shirt, pants, >> I think. White. >> Any identifying factors? So, all I'm looking for is a blonde female tan with glasses. >> Yeah. >> So, you're too >> tall. Short. >> Fifth before fifth period. >> Shortish. Shortish. like my height. >> So what happens when that this female doesn't exist? Then what are we gonna have another conversation? >> She asked me my name and the rest >> and you didn't ask her name. >> Why would I like this a random random person I see every day? >> Yeah. So let me ask you >> asked me to hold some things. >> So this random person >> ask finally asks me my name. I think it was a nice thing. I tell her my name and I leave the restroom. She says your friends knew her. >> Yeah. >> So this random >> So who are your friends? >> Who is your friends that know her? >> That know her. Cuz we can ask your friends who the girl is. >> They're not going to tell. >> Okay. >> What's your friends names? >> One is in my class. I don't talk to her. So I'm >> So you got friends that you don't talk to now. You got random people that you see every day which kind of defeats the fact of random >> students. But you said that there's 2,600 kids. your friends. >> You didn't say classmate. You said you had friends. >> I had one friend know her in the restroom that knew them. >> Girl, >> who is that friend? >> And I can go ask her like who the girl's name is. >> Mia what? >> Mia. >> Mia. >> Mia. >> Mia. >> Mia. What does Mia look like? She doesn't smoke, but she's um >> she has um she's skinny, tan, glasses, like um blonde hair. >> No, brown blonde and innate scruff. The girl I'm talking about is basically a little white girl that >> You got any classes with this girl? >> No. >> This random girl that hand you ain't got classes with her? She in the same grade as you? >> I think so. Yeah. >> You think so? All right. Let me ask you something. If this random girl asks you to hold a gun, you gonna take it? >> No. >> Okay. So, what is the difference? >> The logic of children thinking they're doing >> You're not a child. You're an adult. You're 19 years old. You can't blame You can't blame the fact that you're a child that children. >> Yeah. Okay. Mia coffee. >> It's her friend. >> But she's not the friend that >> I understand. >> But you're the She's the friend that knows the other friend. >> I'll tell you another thing. You better hope I don't find out you're selling this stuff. >> No, I'm not selling. I'm not making profit off that [ __ ] >> No, her friend Mia Coffee. >> She identified Mia Coffee. >> That's her friend. Her friend may know what the other girl's name is. >> Yeah, let's pull I'll put a video in my office. >> But Mia Coffee was with her in the restroom >> and may know what the friend's name is. I'm going to ask you again, and I know you say it's a piercing. Is there anything besides the piercing? No. >> Because I don't want you >> to get in more >> to go to the jail and get another charge. >> I understand that. >> Okay. I just I I want to make sure that I give you every opportunity. I have kids that are younger and older than you, and I don't I don't want to see you get another charge if there's something that you can hand over to me. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Cuffs. I never had cuffs on before. >> Yeah, unfortunately they're not meant to be comfortable. So, >> why are you fidgeting around? >> Huh? >> I'm sorry. >> No, my my wrist hurts. >> Here, sit up for me. >> This unlock. >> No, just sit up. >> I got it. Just don't Ow. >> Got it. >> I'm not even doing anything. You're the one that's moving and you continue to move. You're leading me to believe that whatever you had in your hands, you're messing with >> No, I'm not. I'm just trying to fix the cuffs. >> Okay. >> Okay. If you had left your hands the way they were, it wouldn't be >> I got it. I got it. >> I need you to stand up. Stand up for me. >> Stand me up. >> Stand up. >> What are you Okay. What are you concealing? >> Nothing. >> Stop. What are you concealing? >> Okay. What are you concealing? There's something right there. What is that? What is that in your pants? I can see it. What is it? >> What are you concealing? >> It's my cart. Just take it. >> What is it? >> It's my cart. Just take it. Take it. >> It's another car. >> Yeah, just take it. >> Okay. >> Miss Dupont. >> No. Just take it. Just take it. >> Stop. >> You're going to get a resisting charge. Stop pulling away. >> Please. Just take it. >> What is >> I rather take it. Ow. >> Okay. Stop. >> Ow. Ow. >> Stop. Well, you got in this place for one. >> I know that. I'm sorry. Just let me >> come grab it. >> Take it. I'm sorry. >> We have gloves. >> There's gloves right there. >> Right up here. >> We'll try to get a female deputy, but she's fighting, so >> No, no. It's okay. I'm sorry. It's my fault. >> Oh, you know what? I should have let you bring it to the jail so you get charged with another felony. >> No, no, no. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Okay. Put that right over there. No, it's my first time here. >> Put it right over there. >> Just leave it right Yeah. Put on a napkin on a tissue. >> Have a tin come on. >> So lying is the best policy. >> Oh, you can close the door. Stop. Stop pulling away. >> Stop. Well, you're pulling away cuz I don't know if you're concealing stuff or not. >> Yeah. Okay. Sure. >> I didn't want to lose it. My boyfriend. >> We got to get We got to get a female here. I have nothing else on me. You'll kind of just feel that she knows that. I'm sorry. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's my first time here. I was scared. >> Sit up. Sit up. >> You're going to hurt your hands. [clears throat] >> Student. >> I'm sorry that you did that to me. >> I need a female deputy to come and conduct a search on this. >> This This was stuffed in in between her butt cheeks. Okay. >> And she was in here trying to stuff it even further and then try to fight us. >> Yes. >> When he saw it. >> Okay. >> I appreciate it. >> So, she's going to get another resistance. >> No. No. Don't. Don't. I'm sorry. >> You're You're past that. Stop. >> No. I'm sorry. >> Stop. Stop. Let me Let me No, no, no. Let me Let me tell you Let me [laughter] tell you something. >> I want you to stay quiet. >> Sit up. Sit up before you hurt yourself. I hurt myself. I already hurt myself. >> I never wanted this to happen. >> It seems like the context of what's in the video that somebody told on her and then you guys just searched her property and she got in trouble. >> Sir, I I don't want to cut you off. My name's Deputy Champion. and I'm a school resource deputy on this campus. How are you this morning? >> I'm I'm pretty good. How about yourself? >> Doing good. Um can I can I ask you the reason for the call? Like how how can we help you? >> Um because again, I'm talking to her based on a social issue and I'd be more than willing to talk to you about this, too. If you're the same officer that arrested her, then I feel like you should have made a judgment call there, too. Because when the police when the the police force was started, it was started and we elected people that were uh members of our community. >> Okay. Let me ask you something. Where where do you live? >> Where I live makes no relevancy. >> Well, it does because you're you're you're you're obviously not very clear with Florida state law. So, I'm I'm kind >> But I am I am aware of how federal state law well how federal law work. It does. It doesn't matter about federal law. >> Supremacy clauses. >> Hold on. Let me let me explain something to you. Let let me just let me explain everything to you because you clearly don't live in the state of Florida. >> Oh, no. I I completely understand that Florida specifically doesn't have marijuana legalized. Okay. But I do understand that the federal law is the law of the land and it overrides any state, city, or local law. It is the supremacy clause. It overrides any of your laws. And as of right now, there are 24 states that have marijuana legalized. Once there are two more [snorts] states that legalized it, it will be put on a federal ballot and it will be put up for a federal ballot for it to be approved legally throughout the United States. But it's still a narcotic federalally. What you guys did to that little girl will be reversed. And what I explained to her is that something like that that was so cuddy and so minor, a a dab pen. You get what I'm saying? A dab pen. If something like that, so minor, was such a big issue, why couldn't you have talked to this little girl first and explain to her this isn't what we do. This isn't where you want to go. >> So, let me let me let me stop you. Okay. I've listened to everything you're saying and now I'm going to ask that you listen to me and not cut me off like you did. Okay. >> So, I'm going to ask that you listen and I'm just going to preface this because if you cut me off again, I'm just going to hang the phone up. Understand? I'm already listening to that. Tell me >> in the state of Florida, marijuana is still legal. Federally, marijuana is still legal. And I understand your whole argument, but what I'm telling you is your argument is null and void in this. Okay. So, what I want to ask you is what is your purpose for calling the school today? And what are you wanting us to do? Because right now, the way you feel about a case, okay, I understand that. However, I can't discuss anything with that case with you as one. I don't know your name. I don't know your affiliation. I don't know where you live. Nor do I know what you want out of this. So, what >> Well, this is all public information. Just so you know, it's not private. So, there's nothing you can't share to me. >> Yes, it is. Because I have Okay, sir. I have policies that I am not allowed to disclose this information. You're more than welcome to make a public records request like the person who got that video. You're more than welcome to do that and pull that public record and get it on your own. However, I have a policy and I have a state law that I have to follow and without you identifying yourself and proving to me you're related to that person or you're that person's attorney, I can't give you anything. >> So, are you telling me that if I go to, let's say, one of your city hall meetings, I have to be related to a person that's involved in a crime in order to speak on it. Is that what you're saying? >> No, that's a different story. You can speak on whatever you want, but to get information, and that's what I'm doing right now. I am speaking on something that I seen, and it is a social issue. This is something that could have been dealt with a different way rather than putting a felony on this little girl's record, getting her kicked out of school, and potentially ruining her life. And what I explained to her was, think of it like this, right? you get you charged not you specifically but your county charged her with a felony. It is that or is that not going to reflect her employment in the future? >> It it depends how the case goes. >> It 100% will it doesn't m if she is convicted of a felony. It will 100% >> if she's convicted. We're talking about something that we don't even know what's going going to happen. >> She admitted on your body cam that it was hers, bro. She got convicted of it. >> No, she didn't. She hasn't even gone to court. Sir, >> you obviously don't know how the state of Florida works. >> Even if she takes a plea bargain. It's just the point. You were charging her with a felony. If the word was if it was not that, it was if she was to be charged with a felony, it would. >> It doesn't matter if she has been or not. If she was charged with a felony. Mind you, this is a child in high school. So instead, as a judgment call, you not only as a police officer, but as a man, if you have children, as a father, and as a human being, you should have talked to this little girl and figured out how it was you could have helped her. >> So, can I can I ask you a question? >> Can I can I ask you a question? >> What? >> Are you Are you a father? Do you have kids? >> Oh, I sure am. >> Okay. So, let me ask you this. What if I called you from the school like I do almost three times a week and told you that your child is on the way to the hospital because when your child was in the bathroom or was going through school, they were offered a vape and they hit said vape from said person and they're now going to the hospital because they passed out and are now unconscious because they were >> if that was going to happen, marijuana would not be legal in 24 states. So let's try to bring up real >> sir. I I hate I hate to be the bearer of bad news unfortunately but as a school I'm the other school resource deputy deputy alakrim but as a school research deputy here on campus that happens on average about once a week. So whether you listen so so let me let me let me finish so let me so let me finish so let me finish so let me finish. So let me finish. Like I understand what you're saying as far as what you believe to be the truth and what you know what you read, but as a person who's experienced it on a daily, let me finish. Let me finish. Let me finish. >> Okay. >> I'm stating from live experiences as a school resource deputy that I've been doing for almost six years. The experiences that I've had. How many years were you a school resource deputy, sir? How many years were you a school resource deputy? How many schools have you been in? How many interactions have you had with students? How many students have you spoken to? Okay. >> Did you test any of those vapes and see that they were 100% THC that these these children went to the hospital? >> 100% 100% THC. Typically, it's not 100% THC. It's typically a lower percentage than that. So, um, and and that's from experience on testing THC vapes. And if you had that, you may understand that are going around, right? So, it's not it probably wasn't even a real vape. It was probably CBD with a little bit of THC. And you never know because some of them are homemade. They could have had fentanyl in it. >> These are all typically these are all typically um vapes that that we've we've have passed around. But as far as none of them appear to be homemade, but um >> but but this is more than this is more than a one time this is more than a one time thing. This is not like oh this is one kid. I'm telling you it's happening on a weekly basis. So, >> but there is an age limit to be able to consume the substance even in states where it's legal. You get what I'm saying? So, it's understandable to take it from her completely 100%. But to charge her with a felony, you get what I'm saying? >> No, I don't understand. What I'm worried about when people when people are in the bathroom >> let you talk. I let you talk the whole time. >> Well, no, you actually interrupted me a bunch. Not only that, but there are children that are doing these jewel and all these other vapes that are that are nicotine based and they're also going to the hospital too. Have you ever arrested a child for having a nicotine vape? >> Unfort it's not it's not criminalized insuing they can both go to the hospital for a nicotine vape and for a THC vape. That doesn't make it any more harmful than what I've never in my six years being here I've never had anyone go for a nicotine vape. But I understand your research and look it up and them jewels them jewel vapes were nearly killing children in schools and that was from from non THC only nicotine. >> I've never I've never seen that in person. But I do understand that there has been documented incidents of nicotine having adverse effects. But I'm sitting here telling you as a professional in this field that I've seen it happen with THC pens and cartridges and the vapes. What I will tell you is I understand you're upset and I understand you're acting on behalf of this person. >> I'm not upset. I'm literally just trying to explain to you guys to try to help a child in the future. >> Sure. So, you're you're saying you're saying a child, but they're an adult in the eyes of the law, are they not? >> Okay. So, number one, she she must have been a year behind because no child that's a not a year behind graduates at 19. So, she >> uh Sir, sir, how long have you worked in the school? >> It doesn't matter. >> Okay. So then you have no idea what you're talking about. There are countless 19year-olds. There are countless 19year-olds here on campus. >> To know that >> there's countless 19year-olds here on campus. >> So I I went to school myself. I don't >> congratulations as did I. I'm telling you that you're what you're saying is untrue, but in the eyes of the law, this person is an adult. So I understand that whatever you're trying to get across as saying that they're a child, but legally they're an adult. Legally, they're an adult. The whole point of this call was that a police officer, which was you probably was in that office and charged her with a felony. There was also a principal and some other administration that was in that room. Whoever spoke to her and found that THC or whatever on her could have gave her an opportunity and said, "Listen, we're going to confiscate these and we're going to destroy them. you come to school one more time like this or if we catch you, we will be watching, then you will be charged with a felony. Okay, that is exceptional. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying to give her a free [ __ ] path. I'm not saying to give everybody a free pass. What I'm saying is is that police officers back in the day used to be a part of this community. They used to help. Don't make a child hate you as a police officer for no reason. There is enough hatred towards police officers in the world. Do you not already walk out of your door every single day and fear that your life could already be at risk? Don't you think that enough people already like dislike police officers? So now you want to go and make this little 19-year-old girl also dislike police officers. Then 5 years down the road, she's got vapes again. Now she knows she's going to jail and you're never going to give her a chance. And then she does something hostile. Can I ask you like your own fault for not taking care of a situation properly? >> Can I ask you where the accountability is? Back when the police and you can look this up yourself. Educate yourself, please. The original police force in the United States when it was the 13 colonies was elected officials of a community. They knew the children in the community. It was not about taking someone to jail. It was about fixing the problem in the community. You taking this little girl to jail did not end the vape the vape sales in Florida. You didn't fix anything other than punishing this little girl. You didn't fix the problem. >> So are you saying the problem? Educate her better moral. >> Are you are you say so you want me to treat her more? You want me to teach her morals? So you want me to mean where's the accountability in this situation? What about her actions? What about the actions of her guardians? What about the actions of everybody else? Why does this 100% fall on me to be a parent when they're not my children? I'm going to do Let me finish. Let me let me finish. Let me [laughter] Okay, sir. Have a good day. I'm sorry. I'm I'm done talking to you cuz you're not even allowing me to respond to you. What we're going to say to you is we're law enforcement officers. We have a job to do. Our job is to protect the safety of the campus. Okay. We also have Let me Let me finish. Let me finish. Let me finish. Let me finish. Okay. Have a nice day, sir. Take it easy. Have a nice day, sir. Clay County Fair line Concerts.
