Being a cop is rarely peaceful, but arrests like these three women are enough to need hearing protection. >> No, no, no, no, no. Ma'am verbal. >> No, ma'am. >> We have a woman caught on camera by the cops reversing into another vehicle. >> Don't hit me, mother. You just hit me. >> You literally just hit a car and you have alcohol in your vehicle. >> I didn't hit a car. >> And another two women who assaulted a cab driver and the senses of the arriving officers. You don't get to treat somebody like just cuz you know somebody. >> If I watch the video and one of you did put your hands on that taxi driver, you're going to go to jail. >> Guess what? And fantastic. And so do that. >> But first, the cops were called by a man following a driver he believed to be intoxicated. >> Or what was it? >> It's a SUV. It's an M uh ML 350. And we're making an illegal lefthand turn here. >> He's pulling into a parking. No, he's not. He's still driving. He's probably seeing if I'm following him. >> We're passing Cheetos again. We just made a loop around. >> This guy's really going above and beyond here. Jeez. >> And they just came to a stop. He's just sitting there. He's got his >> And that's a that's a nail place, right? >> Uh, no. It's a It's a clothing place. >> Clothing store. >> Yep. >> Uhoh. >> And now he's trying to back up. Don't hit me. They just hit me. >> You just heard a complaint. >> Wow. >> It looked unintentional. Probably because they are intoxicated. It didn't look like an aggressive thing. It looked more like just a I'm hammered. >> And now they're driving away. >> No, he did hit him. It's a signal for now. >> He hit me and he's trying to drive away. So now now we're stopped here at by the side of Panera Bread and Lychi. >> Okay, >> man. Just >> can you >> stop right there since you're behind him right now? Because it did not come back. >> Appleo just pulled up. Never mind. There we go. There we go. Looks like they're going to try to run. They're running. >> Hold on. They're running. Nope. Not yet. [laughter] >> Okay. Try and give me the tag before anything else happens. >> Put the car. Put the car in park and get out of the car. Put the car in park and get out of the car. >> Put the car in park and get out of the car. >> He hurt you the first time. >> Get out, please. >> Oh my god. >> Oh boy. >> Michigan tags on the Mercedes. >> Oh no. >> Put the car in park. >> You can already hear that she's thick tongue. >> Put the car in park. >> How do you put the car in park? That is a good question because I have seen some of these newer German automobiles and I've had trouble figuring out how to put them in park or drive. >> Oh, really? How do you put the car in park? >> That's it. >> All right, get out of the car for me. >> Stand over here. >> Think we got a lady squad here. >> You do realize you just hit a car, right? Are you okay? >> No. >> Not a fan of the flowing hair on the lady officer there we're looking at. Tactically very unsound. It's so easy to be thrown around by your long hair. >> Okay. What's going on? >> I'm trying to get my mom's food back to her place. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. Okay. >> Where does she live? >> Just over there. >> Give me an address. Can I sit down for a second? >> You You're fine here. >> Needs to take a knee. >> Like >> he's a breather. >> No, you are not going back in the car. >> I mean, we see that you have an open container in the car. >> You show signs of impairment. So, >> no. No. We got a call about you swerving out of your lane of travel, almost hitting cars, and then this vehicle here, you backed into it. What's about what's with that? >> So, everything they're doing right here, the evidence collection begins listening to her speech, see if she's off balance. They're trying to see if they can get an odor. They're out in the open. Maybe it's windy. Maybe it's tough to get an odor, but you're trying to get that odor as well. Trying to establish that she could be intoxicated. >> Oh my god. Please, please, God, don't do this to me. >> Well, I'm not God, but >> I know you're not God, but my mom is 82 years old, and I'm trying to just like enjoy my life with her. >> I understand that, but >> making virtuous statements. >> Oh, God. >> I'm a good person. We are on the north side of Paris. >> How many officers is talking to you? >> How many of those trulies have you had? >> One. >> Just one. >> One. Yeah. One. Yeah. >> Anything else? >> Have you had anything else? >> No. >> Here we go. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. Please. >> Do you take any sort of medications? >> No. It It's like non-existent. It's like a gird thing, so it's no big deal. Please, I can't have this happen. Oh my god, look at this. This is crazy. Why do we have so many? >> Can we Can we check to make sure you don't have any damage to your car? >> I'm fine. >> Well, I want to check to make sure there's no damage. >> No, no, no. I'm good. >> Well, you you don't you don't call the shots here. Okay. I'm just trying to be nice. >> No, I I don't have any I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. >> Well, like I said, we got a call about that. >> Can you Can you listen to me? We got a call about you driving erratic. People were concerned because you almost hit other vehicles. On top of that, you pulled into here and then you started backing up hitting that that Jeep right there. >> Well, because it was a one-way street. That's why. >> So, why would you be backing up? >> Cuz I it was a one-way street. I'm like, I have to do something different. >> This isn't a one-way street. You can have two two vehicles through here. >> Oh my god. I I can't have this happen. My mom is 8 years old. >> Do not reach over to me. >> My mom is 80 years old. I can't have this happen. Please. >> Okay, ma'am. That is besides the the point. I mean, you you literally just hit a car and you have alcohol in your vehicle. >> I did not hit a car. >> You you did. We're telling you that you did. >> Well, to dis dispel any of that suspicion of you not being able to to use your motor vehicle, I'm going to do some field sobriety exercises on you. Okay. >> No. >> No. No. You're not going anywhere. [laughter] >> You're not going anywhere. Do not walk away from me. >> I have to call my mom. >> Well, you can call her afterwards. >> Is this vehicle registered to you? >> You're not getting in your car right now. >> That's why I'm standing right here. >> What is it that you need? >> She's like, a bummer. >> Call my mom. >> You're not calling your mom right now. Like we've told you three times. >> Everybody wants to call their mom. >> You can call your mom in a little bit. >> This cannot happen. No, this cannot happen. My mom is 82 years old. I'm here to like celebrate her life. >> Okay. Do you do you realize what's happening right now? >> Whose vehicle did I hit? >> Uh I believe that white jeep right there. >> I >> And you can't deny it because I literally pulled up and I saw you backing up and then as soon as I I put turned my lights on, you started driving off and then I had to tell you almost didn't stop. >> Right now what I want to do is I'm so exercising on you. Now, if you don't if you deny that, you're gonna have I'm gonna have to base all of the circumstances up to this point right now to decide what I want to do. >> How do I hit him? Can I talk to him? >> No. >> Why can't I? >> Because you're talking to me. >> Why can't I talk to him? >> I can talk to him. >> Okay. Whenever Whenever I decide. Whenever I decide. >> I have my rights to him. >> I do. >> I know my rights. I can talk to you. >> That's great. We're doing a DUI right now. >> No, no, no. Yeah, we can talk to him. >> Yeah, whenever I give you the opportunity to. >> No, no, no, no. >> As of right now, we're doing a new one. Listen to me. >> No, no, no. You are wrong. I can talk to him. No. >> Yes, I can. >> No. >> Yes, I can. >> Yes, I can. >> Will you be doing these field sobriety exercises for me? >> Can I talk to >> So, she's really harping on the field sobriety test because they're good evidence. She desperately wants this woman to submit to them because really all she's going to have if the woman denies the field sobriety test is her observation so far in the accident, which is all good stuff, but the field sobriety is really good evidence. And you know, if she just says no field sobriety, goes back to the station, doesn't blow on the breathalyzer. The chances of getting a guilty on the DUI are going to be a lot harder. She'll still lose her license for denying the breathalyzer test, but getting a guilty would be tough. >> Okay, ma'am, are you willing to do guilty exercises? That's what we need to do. I want to talk to him. >> You will. You will have the opportunity. >> Let's change the subject. >> I want to talk to him. >> Answer this question and then >> Why can I talk to him? >> Answer this question and then we'll continue with that. >> Talk to him >> because as of right now, I am talking to you. >> Go ahead. Ask me the question again. I want to talk to you. [laughter] I know him. >> I need you to pay attention then. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Are you willing to to provide field ready exercises at this time? No. >> No. I'm going to talk to him. >> Okay. There we go. >> Okay. All right, turn around. She has behind her back. >> No, no, no. >> Do not resist. Do not resist. >> No. >> Do not resist. >> No, please. No. No. No. >> What are these purple handcuffs? >> Can you please hold >> I'm just not a fan of the multiolor handcuffs. I know they can stand for different things and all that. I just think they look lousy and uniform. Kind of a traditionalist with gear. Like, just have it be normal. These fun color handcuffs. No thanks. >> No, no, no. >> Stop moving. We're trying to lock the cuffs so it'll get tighter. >> Hold on a second. Please, >> you got to wait a second. >> Put our mic no. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. >> Ma'am, >> no. You cannot do this. Please. >> Hold your seat. >> No. >> All right. Have a seat. >> No. No. No. No. >> Have a seat. >> No. No. No. >> Okay. You don't really have a choice. So, take a seat or we're going to have you take a seat. >> Can Hold on. Can I ask you a question? >> Have a seat. >> Shut it up. Uh, thank you, too. >> I'm not doing this. Come on. >> You are doing this. >> Oh, boy. We'll get back to her charges in just a moment. But first, a cab driver calls the police after two women hit him in the back of the head when he refuses to drive them. >> There seems to be a problem today. >> Okay. That taxi over there. >> Okay. You want to explain what happened? What happened today? Uh, he was in >> Okay. >> We asked him to take us home. >> Mhm. >> He wouldn't. >> Okay. >> My house is over there. >> All right. Let me ask you both this. Have you both had something to drink today? >> Yes. >> That's why. >> Um, so why was he refusing to take you home? >> I don't know. >> I don't know. Okay. Well, that's your job. >> Nothing to do with us. >> Um, did you guys at any point get physical or verbally threat him? Okay. Because I'm just going to be very blunt with you because we're getting reports from him stating that he was, you know, hit in the back of the head. >> No. >> Okay. Well, I have a deputy that's going to go and speak with him. Okay. >> He actually wouldn't keep driving. >> And we said keep driving and he said no. >> Yes. He's allowed to refuse services. Okay. >> Stand here. Wait for me. Hello, sir. >> Hey, officer. >> Hi. How you doing? How can I help you? >> I'm waiting for the video to download cuz we got a very sophisticated camera system in the tabs. I'm the owner >> inside the taxi. Perfect. Even better. >> So, just give me a second and it's download. >> Awesome. All right. See that video? What happened? >> All right. Perfect. Thank you so much. >> Just give me a couple of seconds. >> See that? Nothing happening. >> Just hang tight in there for me. Okay. So, again, I'll be very honest with you. So, I expect the same in return. Okay. So, they're going to pull up video footage and if it shows that you guys are hitting and they want to press charges, you guys are going to go to jail. So, let's be honest with each other. >> Perfect. So, no one hits anyone >> hitting people. >> Yes, man. That's I I don't have the full story yet, but >> Yep. sir. Nope. >> Nope. >> Mhm. >> So, do you want to you care to explain? >> Very bubbly. >> Verbal confrontation was between you guys. >> He's verbally confrontating us the whole time. >> Confrontating. >> Negative. Negative. Negative. Can you just please take us home? >> Okay. >> That's it. >> That's all we said. Can you please take us home? Clearly something had happened and every every you guys are being kind of >> big. I'm 5 feet tall and I definitely confronted anyone. >> No. >> No. >> How tall are you? >> Like I'm not >> There's no no competition. >> We all know that people of shorter stature are incapable of committing crimes. >> I WILL RULE THE WORLD. [screaming] >> Why would he get angry with you guys? >> Because he could. And we're done. So, are we done? No, we're not done. [laughter] >> Okay, we can. We're done. We didn't drive. We didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. All right. Well, my partner's going to go speak with him. In the meantime, you guys are detained. Okay. [laughter] >> Yes. >> Detained. I just want to go home. >> All right. Where'd you get hit, man? >> She just hit me in the back of the head. >> Okay. >> I don't need medical. >> Okay. >> Do you do you have cameras or anything in the car? >> Yeah, he's pulling the video now. My boss, >> we asked him to take us home. >> What's the point of a taxi? >> Yes. And clearly there was something that happened, but you guys are being very vague about it. Okay. So, if you want to elaborate and give me your side of the story, I'd be willing more than happy to listen. >> That's the bottom line. That's it. >> Bottom line. That's it. >> So, you got in the car. Um, you said you wanted to go home. He was taking you home and he said, "Nope, never mind." And dropped you off. That's what you're telling me? >> He hasn't dropped us off yet. >> We were going to home yet. >> We're like, >> I know, but I'm saying he dropped you all back that way. >> No. Dropped us off. So, you barrel rolled your way out of the car. How why are you on foot here? And why is he over there? >> It's We're good. So, we're >> had a few cocktails. >> Okay. >> Done. >> Can I have both of your IDs? >> It's fine. It's fine. >> Fine. >> We're not trying to fine. >> No, we're not. >> But it's No, but it's that guy is good. >> We're just trying to go home. >> So, why are we here? >> Question. >> Riddle me that. No one People don't just generally call 911 for no reason. >> We didn't. We didn't. Well, I'm going to let you know right now these cameras in the in the taxi, right? All the cabs are outfitted with cameras. >> If I find out at any point during the investigation you are lying to me, you're not going to work well for me. >> So, guess what? Guess what? And fantastic. And so, do that. Let's do that and be done. We just want to go home. >> Well, if what you're telling me is the truth, then you'll be free to leave. >> I will tell you this though. >> If I watch the video and one of you did put your hands on that taxi driver, you're going to go to jail. >> Perfect. >> But what if he didn't? We never did that. Did he just say something to us? >> No. No. No ma'am. Verbal. >> No, ma'am. No, ma'am. >> Are you familiar with verbal? Okay. But are you familiar with the first number? Right. >> No. >> People got to say whatever they want. People say everything all the time, >> sir. Sir. >> Yes. [music] It's called protected speech. Freedom of speech. You can say almost anything. But what you can't do is put your hands on somebody. >> He was a nasty. >> No, no, no, ma'am. So I guess uh from what the driver was just telling me that uh the taller one was uh giving him about his braids. >> So they had mentioned something about his his uh >> so they mentioned something about his hair about his hair >> kind of just being >> just being you know entitled whatever and then she started saying you know who I am you know >> being drunk >> and then uh >> very drunk >> apparently she told him you know I'm I'm about to hit you and he said don't hit me. >> It was just her though the the taller one. Yeah. >> Okay. With the blonde hair. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, give me a second. Like I said, you know, >> okay, >> as soon as I can see this, as soon as we have enough probable cause for arrest, I'm going to ask him about that time if he wants to press charges. And if he does, then >> cuz we're tired of this kind of >> Okay. >> You Yes. Yeah. First of all, I know she's a local. I do know she's a local. But you don't get to treat somebody like that just because you're local. I've been here my whole life. I I I was born and raised here, >> right? >> Okay. You don't get to treat somebody like just cuz you know somebody doesn't >> All right, ma'am. Your name was >> You need to come over here and speak to me real quick. Come over here. >> There you go. Separate those two parties. Don't let them be alone so they can try to corroborate their stories. You got to separate them and get a statement from each. But also, in this case, we're about to get videos, so not all that important. >> I'm going to read you something, okay? It's very important that you listen to what I'm about to tell you. With these race in mind, you wish to talk to me now. >> Okay. So, you you do wish to talk to me. >> Sure. >> Tell me what happened. >> Go home. They put him to bed. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Did you put your hands on him? >> No. >> Short story. >> So, when I pull up this video, it's going to clearly show that you have not put your hands on him at all at any point during this evening. >> This guy was violent with me. >> He was violent. >> Did he place his hands on you? >> He was. >> I said stop. >> Okay. Okay. So, my question was to begin with, at any point during this night, did you put your hands on him? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? >> I don't recall. >> Okay. At any point, did you hit him in the head? >> No, I don't know. >> Okay. >> She knows. At this point, the walls are closing in. She's been read Miranda writes, "She knows. >> I just want to go home. I just want to go home. >> I I don't >> If I watch these If I watch this video and you put your hands on him, you're going to jail." >> Wait. I hit him. I never hit people. >> Okay. >> All right. Bring it back over here. >> What I told her is if I watch this video and she put her hands on that cat and that on that taxi driver, she will be going to jail. >> He's a taxi driver that was [ __ ] antagoniz. >> But you have nothing to listen. She told me she didn't. You told me. So we have nothing to worry about then, right? >> Do you see the verbal the whole conversation of him? Do you see that in the in the fighting to say WHAT THEY WANT? >> YES. >> Oh >> yes. That's the first That's why we live in America. You have the first amendment. Right. >> The first right amendment to say what they want. >> Correct. >> Right. to to speak to us like that to speak to us like women. >> Correct. >> Maybe. >> What are you the queen of England? >> Maybe. >> Yes. It was very It was very >> She said she didn't hit him. >> So then there's nothing to worry about. >> And we can go. >> Not right now. Now you're being lawfully detained. So we're pending an investigation here. >> Okay. >> Well, then I'm not going to let her go. My host. >> Unfortunately, it's not a hotel. We don't just pick and choose who goes. We go to jail together. It's fine. >> Give me roomies. >> Do we do we do that? Like it's like that is choice. >> You want to go check here? >> When deputies reviewed the incar footage, it showed Lara striking the driver while the vehicle was still moving. >> Hello. What's going on? >> All right. So, this is the one we >> are we able to take the video? Can you put it on something like a USB? >> She smacked him. >> I mean, you got an email? >> Yeah, I got an email. Oh, very good. >> Yeah. 10:15. 10:15. Yeah. Um, >> a rest. >> Stay here. I'm going to go ahead and handle this and then we'll get that. Okay. >> Okay. All right, ma'am. Go ahead and remove your bag for me. I'm going to place you in hand restraints now. Okay. >> Hand restraints. >> Ma'am, if you can give my deputy some space, I would greatly appreciate it. And you want to go stand over this way? >> You mind grabbing? >> Yeah. >> Hey, I'm talking to you. >> The eye contact right there, that's crazy. [gasps] It's happening. >> Let's go this way. >> Put your hands together like you're clapping. >> Like then I'm going to do the stand. >> Okay. Are you >> No, we're going to stand this way. Okay. I'm not asking you. I'm telling you. >> You uh hit a taxi driver just like I told you. I I asked you many times. >> No. No. >> We're going to walk over here. >> Ma'am, >> we're going to walk to the back. We're going to walk to my car. What's going on, >> ma'am? So, at this time, if you do not listen to me, you're going to get more charges. Okay? So, let's just go. >> Unfortunately, I'm going to have Laura in custody. >> I was trying to go home. >> Calm down. Okay. >> I was trying to go home. >> I understand that, but you can't hit people. >> Excuse me. >> You can't hit people. >> I didn't hit him. He assaulted me first. Do you understand that? Do you understand that, >> ma'am? I'm getting >> He assaulted her first. I don't know about that. I think she's still thinking that verbal assault actually counts the same for assault and battery, which it doesn't. And technically, her saying that could be considered a false police report or false report to police, but it's just verbally saying it. People do it all the time and almost never get charged. Even though by the letter of the law, reporting a false crime to a cop verbally does violate the statute. >> Do you understand that? >> I'm going to give you one more. >> I'm looking I'm looking at you straight in the eye. >> I'm going to give you one more. >> Do you understand cab drivers? Let's go. >> Do you understand that? >> Do you understand that? >> You >> he assaulted me. >> You do not want to go to jail. Okay. >> I don't. So, help me out here. Okay. I'm willing, okay, to give you a courtesy transport home. Okay. Cuz you are intoxicated and I do not feel safe leaving you wandering the streets. Okay. Where is home for you? Or where can you stay? Or can you have somebody pick you up? Those are your options. >> He's really going above and beyond here because she certainly could be charged with public in talks at this point and just take him with the other lady, but obviously he doesn't want to deal with that. Just wants to get her home cuz you do not want to go to jail. I promise you. >> I don't. >> Okay. So, help me out here. >> Okay. Take you home. Um to her house. Like >> to her house? Is it Is the door going to open if you go there? >> Of course. Is it so it's unlocked? >> Yes. >> Are you sure? >> Yes. >> Great questions. >> I can't just drive you there and then it's not >> it's fine and I will be able to pick her up like >> Okay. >> Do you know the address? >> Sounds good. >> Okay. He's asking all these questions because so many times as police officers when you're trying to help somebody out or throw them a bone, what's the expression? No good deed goes unpunished. You show up, the house is locked or the husband doesn't want her to stay there or who knows what happens and now it's not working out and you're wasting more time when you could be responding to other calls or helping other people. >> Where would you like that to go, ma'am? Your purse. >> My husband. >> Okay. Do you mind if we release it to your friend? >> My husband? >> My husband? >> My husband? >> Okay. Well, your husband isn't here. So, >> my purse? Yes. >> Can she get Can it go to your friends? >> Sure. >> Thank you. Does it have anything in it that you need? Your phone, wallet, anything like that? >> I would love my phone. How am I supposed to do anything? My hands are tied. >> Right. So, it'll go with you though. >> Give me my Give me my purse. >> Your phone. You want to go with the person? >> Definitely. Give her a phone. >> Nowadays, especially if you don't let them take their phone with them. They go to call somebody to get bailed or picked up and they don't know anybody's numbers cuz they're all just saved in their phone. So, get the phone, get the wallet and the ID at least. >> Yes. When you you'll get a phone call when you go to the jail and then this will get submitted into your property and once you get released, you can have it back. >> So stupid. I didn't do anything. >> All right. Well, I beg to differ. I do. Hello. Let's ma'am. I'm I'm I'm not funny. >> Surprise. >> It's not funny. It's really not funny. It's like >> Oh my gosh, lady. >> Okay. And you're this close to going to jail, too. So >> So listen to what I have to say. >> I'm concerned, but I'm not >> I'm being very professional right now. Okay. I need you to stand up against my patrol people and stand there. Okay. >> I'm for sure not doing that. But like >> do you So you want to go to jail? Is that what you're saying? Because you're not listening to me. I'm not asking you. I am telling you >> I actually can go. >> No, go where my patrol car is and stand right there. >> I'm not asking. I'm telling you. >> I'm 14 myself. >> You You have kids? >> Yes. >> You do? Okay. You want to make this one moment a regrettable moment? >> You want You want your >> You've got like two kids. That was a regular moment. >> Okay. And do do they want to see you on the you know the jail list >> in like whatever >> on YouTube? >> That would be amazing. said no when >> she's going to jail and you will be going to jail next if you do not listen >> and I'm super good and I know my rights. >> Okay. You have a job. You have kids. You want to ruin those things. >> Is this one moment? I I want to know. >> You're not going to talk over me. Okay. >> And I'm good. >> You need to stop talking. And guess what? I need to go >> in this one moment. Ruin all those things. >> I'm super good. >> Okay. [laughter] >> She's super good. It's got that vocal fry going on. >> I don't know what super good means, but >> say again, let's get his ID. >> Yeah. >> She's not listening. She wants to go to jail. >> All right. >> With her. I I'll just like >> No. >> Huh? >> Yeah, I'll go. >> Okay. I think you need to go to sleep or anything. I think Don't make a bad decision. Just go home. >> Yeah. >> She just needs to give me an address or something. >> Ma'am, I can I can see the cards. Thank you. I appreciate it, though. [laughter] I I just need to find >> for her because if not, she's going to have to go for disorderly talks. Yeah, >> we're trying to be courteous for >> I'm a little surprised at this point they just haven't scooped her up as well and gotten out of there. But we'll see. >> Yeah, that's what's on her DL, but I don't know if that's >> Yes. What to do with you >> cuz we can't leave you on the side of the road. >> Okay, well then that's fine. >> Side of the road. >> I like this cop's a effect. >> Stop. You got traffic. >> Instead of dealing with a actually dangerous person right now, we're out doing dealing with that. So, actually, >> can I actually >> Great point by the cop. They're there dealing with this nonsense, these shenanigans. You know, a kid could start choking across town. Who knows? These resources are tied up. They can't help anybody else because they have to deal with this mess. >> Okay. What's your name again? >> And yours? >> Mine's Deputy Dolly. >> You're what? >> Uh, Deputy Dolly. >> What's your first name? >> Steve. >> Steve. Hey, Steve, my man. >> Okay, Gary, >> listen. I'm going to take care of you. I get you home. >> No, I'm good. Well, >> super good. Super good. >> I can't leave you out here. Okay, >> so just give me one second. All right. >> I appreciate >> Get in the car. >> I appreciate everything you're doing. >> Yes, sir. I really very appreciate the expense of these cameras. >> Yes, very much so. You guys definitely need them. >> Oh my god. >> All right, I just got to clear out my back seat. Okay. It's like you've got Amazon. [laughter] >> I got I got work stuff. >> Okay. Look. Work. >> What? [laughter] Excuse me. >> Oh my gosh. >> I sit in the back. >> Yep. Just hang tight. So, we have policies. >> Policies state that if any person's in our back seat, whether it's a courtesy transport or anything of that nature, you have to be handcuffed. Okay. >> Wow. >> Can I not be? >> You have to. Handcuffing for courtesy transport. >> Listen, I'm going to work with you. >> That's pretty hardcore handcuffing somebody just for a courtesy transport, but policies vary. Policies differ. Usually what I do is I just give them a light pat down for weapons. If they want to hang on to their bag, I search the bag. If they don't mind, I'll take the bag up front with me or put it in the back and I don't search it. I just leave it back there. But if they want to have it with them on their person, they're going to sit behind me. Got to search their bag. >> I'm going to put the handcuffs on front. I'm not going to put them behind your back cuz it's uncomfortable. >> Careless. >> Okay. It's fine. Also note that I have to search your person, your property, not you, your property. Just make sure there's no >> no illegal fantastic >> firearms or things like that. >> Everything's fantastic. >> Those cuffs on >> no weapons, knives, drugs of any sort, >> maybe one day, but not. >> All right. You can go >> what? >> In the back? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Can I sit in the front? >> I have no room up [laughter] front. Okay. Our seats have things on them and things like that. It won't it won't work. >> Wait a second. Earlier you were willing to go to jail with your friend. >> So we go to jail together. It's fine. >> And now you don't want to sit in the back cuz it's kind of like a yucky looking cage type deal. That's kind of weird. >> I'm literally 2 feet tall. So >> it's not the most comfortable. >> She keeps getting smaller. I'm literally 2 feet tall. I could just sit on the dashboard if you wanted. [laughter] Ah. >> Oh. Well, I mean, if you have kids, they can never. >> Okay. And then I have to put the seat belt on you. Okay. >> Can I have the >> Or if you want to put it on yourself, that's fine. >> I can as well. >> It's right there on your left. >> We'll see if you can. >> So, you challenge accepted. >> Yep. And >> my bag. >> I have it. I have it. I'm >> And wait. >> So, the the seat belts are here on your left. So, just use your left arm. No. No. Come, come this way again. Use this arm. Grab it. Can you see it? Yep. >> Oh, >> yep. Put the seat belt. >> Have you put a seatelt on before? >> Is it stock? Also understand I have to put you in handcuffs. Okay. On the front. Just in the front. It's I'm not going to put them on. >> It's fine. Like I literally cannot have a suit in all of you. >> That's all right. >> Says everybody in a cab. >> Yeah. Yeah. But you hit somebody. You can't do Hit him. >> Yes, you did. I watched it. I watched it on video. There's >> video Did you watch the video of him talking to me? >> It doesn't matter. [clears throat] >> Oh. Oh, it doesn't matter the violence. He talked to me. >> Does it matter? >> Verbal violence. >> People are afforded the first amendment right. They can say pretty much anything to you. >> Oh, so he can say whatever he wants to a woman? >> Yeah. >> What? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Yeah. That's the truth. That's the first amendment. People got to realize even hate speech is free speech. You might not like it, but believe me, you don't want it any other way because once you let someone start deciding what's legal to say and what's not legal to say, that is the proverbial slippery slope. >> You have freedom of speech. >> Get arrested for >> No, you got arrested for for battery, unwanted touch or strike. >> You think that's right? >> It doesn't matter what I think. It's it matters what the law says and what the constitution says and what your bill of rights afford you. Well, my thoughts on the matter have nothing to do with this to me. >> I'm really not you. >> I'm trying to you. >> The law does not allow you to put your hands on people. >> Keep your hands to yourself.
