As cops, we know when someone is panicking behind the wheel, things can go bad very quickly. >> Show me your hands. YOU'RE GOING TO GET SHOT. >> THIS WOMAN IS ABOUT TO risk her own and an officer's life after a petty argument descends into chaos. >> Step out of the car. Oh my. >> Then we'll see a deputy make it clear exactly how this ends. >> I don't want you to have to fight with us so you get even worse charges. And we're also counting that'll chase you to the ground. But despite this warning, this operator is about to make the biggest mistake of HIS LIFE. >> YOUR HANDS UP. DO IT NOW. >> BUT FIRST, OFFICERS ARE called to an argument over gas money that turned violent. Unaware the insane lengths the suspect will go to to evade capture. >> How's it going? Art. >> Uh, she's downstairs. >> We got the fire department here to come check you out. She's downstairs. Where? >> With the blue car and a black guy like a chunky dude. >> She's wearing the purple shirt and purple. >> She's like has black and white pajamator. >> What the officers didn't realize was that they had walked right past the suspect on their way up to the apartment. >> Explained why they weren't very friendly. >> They relay the information to additional officers who begin searching the parking lot to find them before they can leave. In the meantime, the officers start interviewing the victim's girlfriend. >> She was just complaining about um he said that he was going to give her some gas money and then she just kept going on and on and on and the next thing you know she just threw her a lunch box. >> So this was an argument about gas money. >> Mhm. >> She got mad and threw a lunch box. >> Anything else? >> Aggravated assault there. >> No. >> What happened? >> Nothing happened. >> Step out of the car. >> Oh, >> step out of the car. She wants no part of it. >> Step out of the car. >> Step out of the car. >> Oh my. >> See you. >> She's trying to race my arm over. She's heading out. She almost just ran me over fleeing. I would not take a position standing right in front of that car just because of the way she was acting and there seemed like there was a high likelihood that she would take off. I know hindsight is 2020, but step to the side. It's not worth getting run over. You can find her later. >> Black female only occupant wearing purple. RS1. She tried to run me over my key. I don't have a key. >> He is jacked up right now. Adrenaline is floored. >> I'm waiting. North going out. >> Dude, tell her dumb ass to stop doing all this dumb ass for what? Oh my god. >> He's on the phone with him. >> What just happened? >> Why don't you pull the car over? WHY DON'T YOU STOP DRIVING, DUMBASS? >> ARE YOU ON the phone with someone in the car, ma'am? >> No. that [laughter] a little bit. >> Somebody else who won't stop for the police, [screaming] >> man. He is gassed. >> Little mini spike strips. [screaming] >> SHOW me your hands. >> So, this went to a felony level. Well, I mean, it was already at a felony level with the aggravated assault, but now that she almost hit a cop, refused to stay where she was at, now it's going to be a felony stop. They're not going to take any chances just because of her behavior pattern so far. YOU'RE GOING TO GET SHOT. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. [screaming] GET YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR NOW. HANDS UP. STEP OUT OF THE CAR. PUT YOUR HANDS OUT THE WINDOW. Do it now. >> Next squad that's arriving, block westbound traffic. Reroute it sometime after 84th Street for Crossfire. >> MA'AM, >> FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PUT YOUR HANDS UP. STEP OUT OF THE CAR. >> YOU TRIED TO RUN ME OVER AND GET YOUR HANDS UP. >> WHAT is still pretty jacked up? >> Put your hands out the window. >> WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THIS, MA'AM. ALL RIGHT. STEP OUT OF THE CAR. [screaming] HANDS UP. >> SHOT HER. NO CHANGE. NON-COMPLIANCE. Staying in the car. Not listening to any COMMANDS AT ALL. >> HANDS UP. >> SHE'S JUST CRYING. I think she's talking on the phone. >> WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THIS, MA'AM. OKAY. Just step out of the car. >> Just give it up. >> Step out of the car. >> Do you want to move up? Smash the window out in the back. >> I serial ran you over. I'm not going up there until we have positive vehicle contact on the front line just so we can put better. >> I can handle it if you IF YOU'RE READY. >> MA'AM, you need to listen to us. Step out of the vehicle. >> So, we're going to do positive vehicle contact in the front, back, or end of vehicle extraction. >> Okay, DOORS OPENING. >> MA'AM, STEP OUT. >> OUT OF THE VEHICLE. >> FACE AWAY FROM US WHEN YOU STEP OUT. >> OKAY, >> I will. And do it. Ma'am, step out OF THE VEHICLE. >> MA'AM, WE NEED YOU TO STEP OUT. >> Put your phone down. >> Everybody's calling their mom. >> Get your hands in the air. >> Noah. >> Noah. >> Yes. >> When you're ready, I can do it from the front. >> Anybody got a shield? >> I do. >> Let's get it. Let's go up WITH THE TASER. >> MA'AM, YOU NEED TO STEP OUT. >> I'LL GO HANDS. >> NICE. >> OKAY, we need >> This is great. They got stuff right in the field with them. They have a shield. They're going to form a little stack behind the shield, some kind of cover, and hopefully grab her. >> One more. Put it on. Come to us. >> Uh, you be taser. >> I'll be lethal. >> I'll take hands. >> We need one with taser. Try to pull. If she resists it, I'll tase her. >> Get out of the car now. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out OF THE CAR NOW. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. >> TASER. NO. NO. NO. [laughter] >> NO. NO. NO. NO. We don't need to. >> Put your hand out. Put your hand out. >> Got it. I got it. >> Handhind your back. Okay. >> Hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Hand behind your back. >> Move your hand. >> And we all know this is all totally unnecessary. >> You're under arrest. Put your hand behind your back. >> Let go of your shirt. Put your hand BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> All right. You got control. >> Okay. >> Someone clear the car in custody. >> You are damn lucky you're alive right now. Hey everybody, can I just >> take a couple of breaths? Deep >> breath. Get that. Don't worry. >> I got your phone in here. Okay. >> Got her. >> No. >> Do you need an ambulance at all? Is that your blood? >> Yeah. My leg is hurt. >> Where do you know which one? This one here. >> My right leg. >> Okay. Now, we're going to have you on this side. You got [laughter] >> I love the face right there. Priceless. >> What are you doing? >> This is the other parties involved on the >> wrong side of the road. [laughter] What are you doing is right >> out in front. >> Oh my gosh. >> Did anyone talk to these people? >> No, didn't get a chance to. >> One, dispatch, uh, our female in custody does have a, uh, small puncture laceration to her right thigh. It is not currently bleeding. About 1 in in length. >> Mama purse. >> Don't worry about it. >> All right, I'm going to have you take a seat and I'll buckle you in. >> Ambulance is going to come and check you out. Okay, let me let me fix your hand coat first, please. Sorry. Very courteous. >> You okay other than your leg? >> Any other injuries, ma'am? No. >> Okay, have a seat. Got the air conditioning on. >> Great job. Super courteous, high stress situation. They were all pumped. They brought it back down. They're saying sorry for the cuffs being too tight. Let me turn on the air conditioner for you. Great service. >> All right, so what's going on today? >> She's mad because he wouldn't give her no gas money. >> Who is she to you? >> Is that a Snuggy? Is that Are you the one who called? The party that called? >> No, he called. >> Who is he? >> My boyfriend. >> Is that this gentleman? >> No. No. No. Upstairs. >> Okay. So then, do you live at Sirillain? >> Yeah. >> Looks comfy. >> And then who is this to you? >> Just side note, has anybody out there ever tried the Snuggie? I always thought it looked pretty pretty comfy. Let me know. >> My sister. >> That's your sister? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> She met because he wouldn't give her no money for gas and then next thing you know, she just threw her lunch box at him. >> Who is he? It's my boyfriend. She threw it at him. You know my >> business. You told him to go. >> I can't, unfortunately. >> Hold on. Where are you going? >> Yeah. >> Hold on. We can't go in the car. We're not going in the car. Stop. >> Why can't you listen? >> Can you leave our keys? >> You can't You can't just be walking in the family. >> Go. >> I was going to ask him. >> That's nice. Leave. Go on the sidewalk. I don't know what I think he threw I don't know what he threw at me when he threw something at me. It was like some glass. It was like some glass he threw on my leg. >> Okay. Well, the bleed is controlled and stuff like that. It doesn't look like it's going to need stitches. >> We're going to go ahead and put band-aid on on that for you. Okay. >> Okay. >> And the lock box broke open after that. >> Okay. >> And it it hit his throat >> after she threw it back at him. >> Okay. And then uh what what's the argument over? Is it this gas money or >> just gas money, man? >> Right there. I've done this myself. I've made this mistake before. I am Monday morning quarterbacking, but I am admitting that I've done it before. But you should have just asked the question and then let him answer. It's so easy for us to ask a question and then offer an out for them. If you just ask it and let there be silence, you might get a little bit more info. >> Throw a little sticks up here in the back. >> I almost shot her, but I >> Yeah, he said the same. >> There's a crossfire. He I I could see him through the windshield and so I just didn't. >> Okay. >> Do you know how she got some type of puncture wound to her leg? >> Yeah, I tossed a I tossed the back at her. >> The Tupperware? >> Yeah. Yeah, I tossed the back at her. >> I guess do you want to press charges for against her for throwing that at you? >> Uh for your sister. Uh I don't I just don't want her to get arrested. I don't want to press charges. It's >> too late. Well, I guess obviously like there's when uh we had another cop. I don't know what happened out there, >> but obviously she's already getting arrested. I guess. Do you want to >> add to it? >> Add to it. >> It's fine. >> No, you don't. Okay. I would keep the charge cuz that charge is the genesis of all the other charges that happened afterwards. So whether he wanted to or not, I would keep it in there. >> Too early for this crap. The apartment manager saw everything, so I got her down as a witness. She like couldn't believe we almost got ran over like that. >> Could have been way worse. >> We'll get back to her charges in just a moment, but first, officers stopped this pickup truck for missing its front plate. And this simple stop will turn into the wildest arrest of their careers. >> Not bad. How are you? >> Pretty good. Uh, so when you went past the original, I didn't see our front plate and then I heard you go buying one. We got to talk about that exhaust. Uh my grand my dad put it on here before he died. I already went to court several times for this and I will not change my exhaust. >> Okay. >> So already pretty defiant operator here. There is laws for that where I work. It's called harsh and objectionable noise for a super loud exhaust. So you can be stopped for that and it is a violation. >> My dad died of cancer. >> Okay. >> This was the last thing he left me in his will. >> Okay. >> Tell you right now, hands down, I ain't got a license. So I'll take my ticket. >> Okay. >> Um I just went up to Berlin to pick her up. Okay. >> I lost my front license plate when I was out doing field work. >> Okay. >> So, I don't have that. I have to go to the DMV to get a new one. >> Okay. You can just do it online, too. >> I can. >> It's like five bucks. Yeah. >> I didn't know that. >> Yeah. There's like a little form you fill out. >> Okay. See, I'm illiterate. I'm I didn't >> Okay. >> Do you have a val? >> Oh, boy. >> She can't drive this. She don't know how to drive standard. >> You don't know how to drive stick? >> No, she don't. I've been trying to teach her so I don't have to drive. >> Yeah. It's a good skill to have cuz you never know when you're going to need it. Uh, I learned today. I was reading it up a little bit from what she was explaining to me. 90% of people don't know how to drive manual anymore. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> That's scary. >> Uh, yeah, it is. >> I'm sure people don't even know that there's letters technically associated with numbers on a telephone either. >> Um, so Jordan, what's with your license? Is it just suspended or? >> Uh, suspended or you both run the two? I can't quite remember. >> Okay, I got you. License at all? >> No. >> Okay, that's why then that's Yeah, I get you. >> All righty. Uh, well, let me go check on this stuff for you. Um, give me a few minutes. If I have some questions, I'll let you know. >> All right. Sorry. >> Um, is this registered to you? >> Yes. >> Okay, I got you. >> All right, I'll be back in a second. >> Oh, he's got an open felony case. Oh, boy. >> For domestic abuse, strangulation, suffocation. >> Even more concerning, that case includes a no contact order against the victim, his girlfriend, who happens to be sitting right next to Jordan in the passenger seat. >> Oh, here's what I don't know how to do. Do you know how to drive a stick? >> Yeah, I do. cuz his girlfriend in the passenger seat doesn't. I'm just hoping there's a way we can get it moved. >> So, that's pretty nice. The cop's willing to have the car moved rather than have it towed for the guy. Obviously, he feels for him because of connection to the guy's dad. I have myself in the past move somebody's car and I will tell you when I got in the brakes didn't work and I ended up coasting like half a mile and that's when I told myself I would never again operate somebody else's car while I'm working. You don't throw it down, but can you just get it ready? Yeah, cuz I have a feeling he's going to try to take off or something when I tell him to get out that he's under arrest. So, what's up, boss? >> So, you're supposed to have an ID in here. >> What? >> Yeah. >> Where was that issue? >> It looks like it was issued with your last OWI. >> That's an interlock device for the ignition. Sounds like in this area, if you get an OUI, owi, DWI, you're going to have to have a breathalyzer attached to your car to operate. And obviously this gentleman failed to do that. >> Right. >> Okay. And I didn't know I was supposed to have yet. >> Well, have you changed your addresses anytime soon? Cuz it looks like it was mailed. >> Yeah, I put a formate in for a while ago. I don't know if it changed over yet. >> Says >> No, that shouldn't be it. >> Okay. Well, that's what your address shows. So, I'm guessing that's where the paperwork went. So, at this time, you got to come with me. >> Why? >> Cuz you're going to be under arrest. So, >> for what? O A N ID operator revocation an interlock ignition device violation. >> I didn't know I was supposed to have an interlock though. >> Okay, so there's no way this guy would have it even if he knew. He probably does know. He's just saying he doesn't. But those interlock devices are not typically paid for by the state. You have to pay for them and they're expensive. >> I'm just letting you know that that's not negotiable at this time. Okay? And I don't want you to have to fight with us so you get even worse charges. And we're also a county that'll chase you to the ground. I don't think your girlfriend [laughter] wants to do that if you try to run. >> Fair warning, >> guys. At least all I can put my truck home is is if you give him permission, he knows how to drive stick. He's going to park your truck right over here. >> Um, no, that won't happen. >> Okay, then we're open the door. >> See you later. >> Saw that coming. We are westbound 23 approaching third speed 75. >> Just got to call the speeds in conditions, all that good stuff. Surprised this truck's even able to go that fast. 537. If you're able to get uh back in, I don't know how much longer this truck's going to last. It's backfiring pretty heavily. I think we could probably box it in. 212 mark. We are passing J John's. Speed's slowing down now to about 71. I don't know if the vehicle just died or not. Vehicle's dying. Felony stop. >> Cops having all kinds of pursuit moans going on. >> 82. We're going to be approaching a line. It's going to be a red Chevy. We'll get a better descendant shortly. >> There he goes. [laughter] >> 212 Marquette. I just tried to box him in and he just tried to run me off the road. Vehicle did die briefly. Like I said, I don't know how much this truck has left. It sounds very important. 212 Marquette. He just tried to black out. Looks like somehow he's got front lights, but he was able to black out his tail lights. >> Probably not intentional. >> Malfunction 212. He spun out. He's coming back at us. >> He's actually back southbound again. There was a vehicle oncoming. He served to avoid >> 1050. 1050 elk and first a half. 1050. >> There he is. >> 1050 elk in first. >> What a shame to an old Chevy Z71 stepside. When I was in high school, a kid that went to school with me had one of those and it was the coolest truck. Now, obviously, IT'S PRETTY OLD. >> GET YOUR HANDS UP. DO IT NOW. GET YOUR HANDS UP. DO IT NOW. TURN IT OFF. GRANT. GRANT. SIREN. Is that me? >> Felony. Stop. >> Responding to verbal commands. It does not look like it's a major 1050. It's just in THE DITCH. >> DRIVER, GET OUT WITH YOUR HEADS UP. >> I don't know if he's fled on foot or not. Oh, he's flat on foot. Two to Marquette. He's flat on foot. It looks like flat on foot. >> There's a passenger. >> Yeah, there's a passenger. PASSENGER, GET OUT WITH YOUR HEADS UP. WHAT'S SHE SAYING, GRANT? >> I can't hear. >> Passenger, ARE YOU ABLE TO GET OUT? >> She hurt her leg. >> 212 Marquette. Start fire. EMS. >> That poor lady got taken for a ride. >> She's her leg hurts. >> You can see his foot tracks right here. Let's go try to get her out. >> You okay? >> I hit my head. >> Can you show me your hands for me? >> Yeah. I'm fine. Why don't we >> Why don't we try to slide out this way? >> Ma'am, we're going to get you EMS here coming. Okay, >> make sure your squads are locked. Make sure your squads are locked. >> Great point. Great thing to yell out in this situation because we all know what happens. >> Is this still my patrol call? >> Her get in your cruiser and take off and that is some serious egg on your face. We're with her. We'll need their assistance getting her out of the truck. She's good staying there. >> Yeah. Do you have a >> Yeah. Where you going to put her? Leave her in there. >> Okay. Hang on. Anything else that's hurting you? >> My leg in my head. I just >> Yeah. >> I tried to warn him. I told him that we chase him if he had >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm glad. At least uh this is never the outcome we want, but we're learning conscious and that's good. So, >> okay. Well, he ran, so I'm assuming so. >> What's up? Looks like a track went into the woods. >> K9 out there, but >> track him down the whole perimeter here for now. Haven't seen >> Look at the snow on the ground. The amount of woods there is. I went on a track once. It was pouring rain. It was in a marsh and I had to follow a canine and the officer for about an hour and a half. Let me tell you, it's miserable. >> One of you guys want to stay north. >> Yeah. >> He went over here and down in. >> Okay. We have good containment. >> We can clear this residence here. >> Yeah. So, Captain Kolski's down there, but I just want to know Grant's going to go down there with him. I at least want you guys to try to keep eyes down here. >> Okay. >> Then we'll have this whole area sectioned off basically. >> Okay. >> 225. I'm out with that bike. Sir, come here. Get off your bike. Get off your bike. >> I'm getting off my bike. I just came from the top of the hill. >> I'm out with the bike. [laughter] I came to the top of the hill. >> Okay, I apologize. We I apologize. I know you don't know what's going on. >> Why are you riding your bike? >> Got a chase. Okay. And we had a guy flee on foot. >> So, you're right in the vicinity of everything that's happening. We don't know if he has weapons. We don't know who he is. >> Oh, I'll get out of here then. >> So, yeah, he's somewhere right on here. Okay. >> Yeah. I live at the top of the hill. >> Okay. Would it be okay if I identify who you are? >> Sure. I used to work county. >> Okay. All right. I was I was a jailer. I retired two years ago about a year and a half ago. >> Okay. Thank you so much. Get back safe. Okay. No, it's okay. It's okay. >> Lines said she believes she's got the subject in the back of her property by the rental unit. >> The same woman who was interviewed earlier returned home and found Jordan in her garden. She reported it to deputies, giving them a new lead. But as the situation continued to unfold, it became clear Jordan was not alone. He was in the passenger seat of a vehicle being driven by someone who deputies had not previously encountered. [music] >> 25 mark out with that vehicle. County E, first dab, just north county E. >> I saw the driver passenger side door. Open it. >> LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. GET THE OVER HERE. >> GET THE [ __ ] over here. >> Walk back TO SOUND MY VOICE. ONE male at gunpoint. >> STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. TURN AROUND. Turn around. >> I don't like that he's holding that coat like that. You could easily conceal a weapon under that. I'd have him drop it right away. >> TURN THE AROUND. WALK BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. Walk back to the SOUND OF MY VOICE. TAKE TWO STEPS TO YOUR LEFT. TWO STEPS TO YOUR LEFT. TWO STEPS TO YOUR LEFT. >> BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. RIGHT NOW. BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. ONE STEP TO YOUR RIGHT. STOP. HE'S GOT a knife on his right hip. Stop. >> Do step. Turn the other way. DON'T LOOK AT ME. >> OKAY. He's got a knife. >> Lay down. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> Stand up. You can. >> You could tell he's been through this before. He got on his knees, put his hands behind back, cross his legs. >> Where did you land that? Not his first rodeo. >> I can't >> stand up. >> I can't. >> Sir, stand up. Stand up. >> I can't. >> You were just standing. >> Yeah. Well, my hip is locked. >> Well, you can stand up. >> No, I can't. >> Stand up. >> I can't >> STAND UP. DO IT NOW. >> DUDE, I CAN'T STAND UP. I LITERALLY CANNOT STAND UP. >> OKAY. LAY PRONE. >> Lay prone with your face on the pavement. >> Move, sir. >> LAY PRONE WITH YOUR FACE ON THE PAVEMENT. >> MOVE. LAY PRONE WITH YOUR FACE ON THE PAVEMENT. >> I get the cop wants him to follow the instructions and get him as immobilized as possible, but he's pretty immobilized. On his knees, legs crossed, hands behind the back. It's pretty good. >> DO IT NOW. >> DUDE, I CAN'T MOVE. MY hip is locked. I have steel in my hip. I cannot move. >> Okay, roll onto your right hip. >> Sir, what don't you understand? >> You can roll on your right hip. >> Roll. >> I can't move. >> Roll on your left hip. >> I can't move. >> Roll on your left hip. Do the hokeie poke >> in my hips and in my back. >> Just watch the other watch that vehicle for me. Okay, sir. >> Sir, >> I have metal all inside of me. I cannot move once I am in this position. >> Put your hands on your head for me. Put your hands on your head for me. >> What? I can't hear you over there. >> Hands on your head. >> Put your hands on your head. >> Hard side. >> You do. Don't go for that knife. Do you understand? I'm going to tell you right now. If you go for that knife and come at us, you will get shot. >> Well, no me pull it off. I Going out of my pocket. >> Don't reach for the knife. Whatever you do, >> Sherlock. Hello. >> What's up? >> Let it completely drop my hips right off. >> No. How about you scoot back? >> I can't move, dude. >> So, you can't move, huh? >> No, my hips are locked. >> You were walking fine the whole time, sir. >> Yeah. Well, once I got down and I crossed my one leg, that was it. My hips locked. >> Well, hold on. Hold on. Before we do this, >> he's saying that he can't move. He's got the knife on his right hip. First thing first, we have to take the knife off them. >> Go ahead, grab it. >> Keep your HANDS ON YOUR HEADS OR YOU WILL BE SHOT. [laughter] >> JEEZ. >> There's one in front pocket as well, sir. >> There's one in my pocket as well. >> Watch the car. >> There's one in my front pocket as well, sir. >> It is weird that he went from so defiant to super compliant so quickly. He's telling him where the knives are. Don't forget the one in my front pocket. He immediately got on his knees. I can see why the cops would be a little suspicious of this guy. >> Got it. >> Stand up. Stand up. Boom. Back. >> Hang on. Hang on. Pull. Easy. Otherwise, my hips won't unlock. >> Stand up. Easy. Both. Both at the same time. Please. >> Dude, you don't got to be griefing on me. >> So, I kind of get what this guy is saying. I had a little trouble in police academy actually with some of the physical stuff. I ended up getting through it, but when I did the sit-ups and they hold your feet. I myself have shallow hip sockets. The uh top of my femur kept like rolling out of my hip socket a little bit. So, it is a thing. It's pretty rare, so I can sympathize a little. >> Front pocket. No, I'm not moving till you guys pull the other one off of me. >> Yeah. Front bumper right here. >> Moving back. >> Oh, easy, easy, dude. You pulling on me, little dude. [laughter] >> Little dude. We get the knife out. >> Let's move up these two vehicles closer and do another high risk on that to get the driver out having all this open area. >> 104 Marquette 231 and I are going to head up with the shield. >> Very strategic here. Good stuff. >> Not taking any chances. >> You're good. Right. Just fine. Okay. Step out of the vehicle, sir. Back. Back. Back. Move to the rear of your vehicle. Move to the rear of your vehicle. Move. All right. Stop. You don't have weapons on you? >> No. >> So, here's what's going to happen. I'm going to put you in handcuffs. Okay. We're just going to detain you for right now, sir. Okay. Well, right now we're doing an investigation. Okay. So, put your hands behind your back, please. Thank you. Thank you, sir. You appreciate that. Let's just stand in front of my squad car right now. Okay. So, do you know who you picked up by any chance? >> Nope. Just somebody was on the side of the road. Yo, hey, >> can I pat you? Can I search you? >> Sure. First of all, you know, you say that like I have a choice, right? >> So, first he said pat and then he said search. So the bar for just doing a pat down, like just checking somebody for weapons for your safety, is is lower [music] than actually like searching someone's person. That's why he's asking him now. >> You do have choice, sir. >> No, you do. >> No, trust me. >> Okay. Well, can I search you? >> I don't care. But you're saying it like I have a choice. >> Okay. [laughter] >> You're going to do it either way. >> Detained. So, are you willing to let me search you? >> Sure. >> Okay. So, you were just driving or what? What's going How did this all transpire? >> Just driving down the road. The guy was >> This poor guy drove by. He waved. I thought he waved and then he yelled. So I stopped. >> And you stopped and you let him in your truck obviously cuz >> he said he wanted to go to his uncle's house. It was just up the road. >> He didn't see anything odd about that. I mean, I'm not trying >> I shouldn't say I didn't see anything odd. Yes. I thought it was strange cuz he was standing with no coat on. >> Okay. >> But he said he had just crashed his snowmobile. They wouldn't be on further. Sure. >> Why don't you just sit here for right now and we're going to get everything sorted out. Okay. I'm going to leave you in handcuffs just for a little bit. My partner's going to stand out here with you just for a second. Okay. >> He says he doesn't know him. What does he say? Yeah, that's the same thing. >> Same thing. Those stories line up. So, at the very least, get the guys the uh phone number and >> yeah, >> I'd say if anything else comes to it, we can refer it. But at this point, I don't think there's a point holding this guy >> cuz I mean obvious neck still. Okay. Can you lift your neck up a little bit? >> Oh, boy. >> Got pretty banged up in that wreck. Got to get this. Okay. >> So, you hate to see anybody hurt, of course, but I don't think anybody's really feeling sorry for this guy since he did this all to himself. >> How did you hurt your jaw? >> Jordan ran into something. >> I don't know if he was seat belted either on the Yeah. Passenger was not stay. >> I'm going to assume he was not either. Maybe a wheel. >> We're going to get you out of this car and put the handcuffs in front so you're more comfortable. No funny business. You understand? Turn around and face me. Do >> you have any weapons on you, Jordan? >> No. >> Nice little transport belt. Those are great to have handy. Really, really useful if you have to transport somebody a long distance like to a court or a jail or whatever. Keep their hands in front, but it still keeps [music] them attached to their body so they can't, you know, they can't get them free. Having them behind your back for a long period of time is, as you can imagine, painful. >> Ready? One, two, THREE. >> SORRY, GUYS. Stop kicking my hunter. Yeah, >> I stopped taking my meds. >> Okay. >> I think they know each other. >> Well, meds for what? When did you stop taking them? >> Three weeks ago. >> 3 weeks ago. Okay. You been having a rough time then or has it been very rough? >> Jordan, did you crash the truck or do you remember anything about the the crash? Do you remember crashing? >> I crashed my truck. >> Yeah. >> How bad is it? That's what we're asking. >> We actually don't know. We don't know. >> None of us have seen it. >> That truck means more to me than my own wife. That truck means everything to me. >> What kind of truck was it? Jordan entrance. >> This kid's in rough shape all the way around. 20-year-old Shamro was charged with felony fleeing, eluding an officer, failure to comply with an officer, misdemeanor resisting, obstructing an officer, and disorderly conduct. She was found guilty on both felony charges and her sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 4th, 2026. Make sure you're subscribed and I'll update the case on my community page and my social media. Jordan was charged with felony fleeing and eluding an officer causing bodily harm, secondderee recklessly endangering safety, misdemeanor resisting and obstructing an officer, resisting and failing to stop, operating while revoked, failure to install an ignition interlock device, and bail jumping. He was found guilty of fleeing and eluding, bail jumping, resisting and obstructing, and resisting and failing to stop. The remaining charges were dismissed. The court approved a 24-month deferred prosecution agreement on the felony count, meaning the charge would likely be dismissed if he complied with all conditions, and stayed out of trouble. On the three misdemeanor counts, the judge withheld sentencing and placed him on 24 months of probation with conditions including 90 days in jail, absolute sobriety, treatment requirements, and various court costs and sir charges. However, he was arrested again in April 2024 and December 2025 on new felony charges, including domestic battery, intimidating a victim, and strangulation/suffocation.
