Thieves aren't usually the smartest bunch, but these two are going to bring it to the next level. >> You're not leaving. >> Yes, I am. Let go of my stuff. >> All right. Do you have any of that cards? >> No, she had another one that she dumped in the pool with that. >> We have a woman who might be the drunkest person we've seen on this channel. >> You can't hear me? >> I can't. Come closer. >> Yeah, you got to come closer. >> You have my card, sir. >> No, I have your ID. >> And a woman who tries to play the victim as a Kohl's employee chases her out of the store. >> She started to go, "Help, this guy is a stalker." >> So, he's Kohl's security? >> It doesn't matter who he is. >> But first, the cops were called when a woman at a bar was refusing to pay her $500 tab. >> Can't make payment on this over $500 tab. Yes, that I ain't doing anything about it. She needs to leave on top of that. She obviously Yeah, well, I didn't get the payment. >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Where did you get that money? $500 tab. >> And >> What's going on with you? >> I'm doing okay. >> Do you have an ID with you? >> I do. >> Let me see it. Okay. >> We can tell she's real drunk. You can see it in her eyes. >> The eyes, Chico. They never lie. It's okay. >> Yes, thank you. >> What's what's what's going on with you today? >> Nothing. >> Nothing? Okay. >> Nothing. >> That says that you might have been having a little too much today. A little too much? You know, in the state of Florida, when you have when you over drink, they have to stop serving you. By law, they can't keep serving you, otherwise they can get in trouble. Cuz you can get sick. >> Come closer to me. >> Whoa. >> I don't want to get too close, [laughter] you know. Hey, you you got your wallet in your back. >> Hamid. >> Well, take him closer to me. >> You can't hear me? >> I can't. Come closer. >> Yeah, you got to come closer. >> [laughter] >> Come here, big boy. >> So, you can't have any more alcoholic beverages, okay? And all that you can have at this point is water. You need to get yourself back to, you know, to where you can get your faculties together. >> Yeah. >> You built up a tab. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> paid for it. >> You did? >> I have. >> So, the mission here, if this officer chooses to accept it, which he has to, is get her to pay her tab, help her do it. She's going to have a lot of trouble with that. And then, get her somewhere she can be this hammered and not bother anybody cuz you can't just leave her out in public. So, that's going to be the challenge, and that all depends if she like has friends around or anywhere she can go. Can they get the tab paid? It's going to be quite the mission for him to accomplish. >> You can ask him. I have I paid for it. >> taken care of it yet. >> I acknowledge them. Let's acknowledge them. Hey. >> All right. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I'll get them for you, okay? >> No. >> I'll go get them. >> Acknowledge them. >> Has she Has she taken care of it yet? >> Not yet. >> No, she hasn't paid her tab. >> paid the tab. Okay. >> Her debit card wasn't working. >> Okay, cuz she has to call the bank or something and tell them because they think it's fraud. Okay. >> But I also heard that she paid Apple Pay. And that would go right through, but she would have to use her phone to pay the Apple Pay. >> Okay. >> So, this isn't that uncommon. Like, even when I traveled to visit Sheriff Lamb, I had to call my bank and let them know, "Hey, I'm going to be in Arizona. I'm going to spend some money. Don't mark it as fraud." If you don't do that, they can shut your card up. So, it seems like maybe she's visiting. >> Okay, so basically what's happened is they tried to use your card and it got declined because they think that it's fraud, the bank. So, what you have to do, which I don't know if you can do that now in the state that you're in, is contact the bank. Not going to work. You have Apple Pay? They can They'll accept Apple Pay. So, >> She's like, "Okay." >> the thing to do is utilize your Apple Pay. So, let's take care of the bill, and then let's see if we can get you >> one. >> and my license, so >> I have your driver's license. I don't have your Apple Pay. You can't use Apple Pay without ID. >> You said that they're not allowing me to pay my my card because you're saying >> No, no. They're not It's not them. It's your bank. Your bank. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. >> She is so drunk. Especially as a woman, you should not get this drunk alone in public. It's dangerous for so many reasons. >> Listen, Jason. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. >> So, >> You have my card, sir. >> No, I have your ID. I don't have your card. I can't use your card. I don't I don't want your card. >> I Obviously, I would never give it to you. >> Right. Okay, let's go. >> are you here with me? Do you hear me? >> What are we going to do about your bill? >> Do you hear me? Yes, I know. Okay. >> Are you real? >> You got to pay him with that card. >> No, she had another one, but she jumped in the pool [snorts] with that No. >> Do you have your card? What card are you going to use? Can you get your tab out so we can go? >> thought that I gave her my card. Can't she use it? >> Just pull one out. >> That's what I'm saying, sir. >> Well, if you have your card, then there's no point in looking for it. You know where it's at. All right? What are we doing about your bill? >> I want to pay him. >> Okay, we'll pay her your bill. Pay the bill. >> I feel sorry for her. Maybe I shouldn't. >> Can you ask her if I'm He's so drunk. >> Okay, here's the deal. You got to pay your bill. >> I don't mind. >> Okay, well, pay her then. >> Do you mind if you ask her where's my card? >> What kind of booze is she drinking? Or what kind of food is she eating for $500? That's a big bill. >> Do you mind if you look for my card? Are you serious, officer? Are you serious? >> Oh, boy. >> I'm not >> Ask her where's my card. >> I'm not going to steal that. >> Yes, you should. >> No, I can't. >> Before Yeah, you said. >> Uh-huh. >> You said you had. >> Get out of his face. >> Excuse me. >> In about 2 seconds you're going to get >> No, I'm asking this officer. Excuse me, I'm asking this officer. What's up? >> Turn around. >> I am. >> Turn around. >> I can I can pay the bill. >> So, in Florida you can just be drunk and walking around as long as you're not causing a disturbance. I believe that's how their law works. So, just being drunk in public is okay, but you can't cause a disturbance then you are breaking law. Also, she got in his face and I I couldn't tell if she touched him or not, but looks like she's going. >> Come on. Put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest. All right. You want to put your shoes on or not? >> I do. >> Okay, go ahead. >> I do. >> I gave you an opportunity, you don't want to listen, so now you're going. >> Will you tell me your name? >> Officer Blackett. Come on. >> This lady obviously feels sorry for >> I'm just putting my shoes on. >> All right, stand up. Stand up. Come on. >> So, you were with her pretty much all day. There was a couple that was here that lived local. >> Uh-huh. >> And they were basically preying on her all day. >> Ain't nothing I can do about that. >> Oh. I wonder if that's how her bill got so high. They were like putting stuff on her tab or something. That's That's nasty. >> What did she do to warrant going to jail? >> It's not worth it. >> Did you watch it? >> I I watched, but hold on. >> You watched? >> My husband's a police officer. >> Oh, so then if they approach you and So, if they approach you and get in your face, then what do we do? Ask your husband if a person approaches you and gets in your face, what do the What does he do? I mean, I don't have a choice at that point. She already drew the line in the sand. Let me explain how this works. Once the handcuffs go on, you're in my custody. So, at some point you got to either have to cooperate or you're not. >> I'm cooperating. >> I don't think she's capable, honestly. Even if she wanted to. >> No feelings. You got [laughter] to learn to stop. It's that when we have too much to drink, we make bad decisions and then we don't listen. >> That's true. >> Okay. >> And unfortunately, you made a bad decision. >> And you're a bad listener. >> I don't want you to do that. >> All right. Now, let go. >> I can't. That's the only way >> Let go. It's going to go here. >> Why are you taking me to jail? >> Have a seat. >> I'm not >> All right. You got to have a seat. Come on. There you go. >> She told me that she has a flight today. So, she's locked up. >> I got to remember. >> Good luck with that. >> She's going to have missed her flight. She can't get on a flight like this, no matter >> No. I'm not going to let her in the airport like >> Be good video, though. >> They'll be calling They'll be calling us in a minute. You don't have any ties to this community, so you got to go to jail. Let's turn up the air so you can get yourself some air. >> I think what he means is like there's nobody here you know that can come get you. So, you're going. Something like that. >> I've given you all the air. >> I can't breathe. My lungs hurt. >> There you go. Why can't you breathe? >> I can't breathe. >> Well, stop panicking and you'll be all right. About the bill, are you guys pressing charges for the bill? >> He's not going to charge. He's not going to charge. >> Wow. That's a good deal. >> He won't be able to write it off on his taxes. >> 500 bucks. >> I got all that hair in my face. Help me, please. >> No. No. Don't He's like starting to panic. All right. All right. So, here's the deal. Why are you spitting all over the floor? No, don't put your feet out. All right. Here's the air. >> The air is in my face. I can't >> in your face. It's not in your face. >> I need help. >> Oh, boy. Now you gets no air. You stay there. Nothing. I'm not doing for her. >> Take me to jail. You're going TO CATCH A LAWSUIT. YOU ARE GOING TO CATCH A LAWSUIT. >> THEN they'll release her and then she catch a flight and take her ass home. >> I really on >> You have too much. You say stuff, you do stuff, you angry for no reason. You got to pay. >> Why am I here? >> I think some officers kind of talk to themselves on the body cam because there is a feature with body cams if your department pays for it is will write like a summary for you from the audio it hears in the body cam. So some officers like you see in this videos are walking around kind of saying things out loud. >> She's what? The [ __ ] are you talking about? >> I think that's for the AI upper level subscription you can get that will make a summary. Never used it but I think that's maybe why they're doing it. >> What am I DOING? WHAT AM I DOING THAT'S WRONG? >> OH BOY. >> I'll stop. You can't >> Gone from distraught to nasty. >> talking. I am not doing any I'm not falling for that again. >> You're not going to trick me. >> I can't breathe. HELP ME. >> NO. ALL that spitting you doing. >> Please help me. >> Now you trying to spit at me? >> I swear I'm not spitting on you. >> You know you know we charge battery for that. You want to spit on me? >> I CAN'T >> MIGHT need the hood of shame here. >> If you take me with you, I DON'T CARE. I CAN'T BREATHE. >> YEAH. ALL RIGHT, WORKING HERSELF INTO A FERVOR HERE. >> HELP [screaming] ME. >> YOU finished spitting all over the place? >> I can't. >> Okay. >> Okay. You Turn on this air on me. >> I turned all the air on for you. It's been on. >> Most cruisers have like a dedicated air system for the rear seats you can actually jack up their AC or their heat so the prisoner gets some kind of circulation. The older cars didn't have that so they legitimately did get very cold and very hot in the back. >> I'm going to take you to the >> I can't breathe. DO YOUR WE GOING? JOB. I CAN'T BREATHE. TAKE ME TO THE STATION. >> FREAKING OUT. >> BREATHE. >> SOME PEOPLE don't realize that they're claustrophobic until the first time they get arrested. I have seen that before. I've seen people completely go into a panic in the back of the car and have this crazy claustrophobia. I can't say for sure that's what's happening, but that could be contributing to this. >> Don't mama >> Oh. Don't mama like that. >> I'm about out of it there. >> You don't talk about my mama. >> That what you going to do? >> Okay. >> Well, we got the bag of tricks here. >> We got something >> Hey, that same file case right there. The exact same one. Good choice, sir. >> I'm not dealing with this. I need gloves. Put gloves on. This going to be a problem. She's a She's spitter. She's spitting in between the cracks and trying to get it on my arm. >> Oh, gross. In the back of my car. >> In the back of the car. What a delightful delightful individual we're dealing with. She can't breathe, but she got enough time to scream at the top of her lungs. >> All right. I'm going to make sure that your cuffs are double locked, okay? >> hood of shame. >> There you go. Since you want to do all that. >> All right. I'm going to make sure your cuffs aren't hurting you, okay? >> She looks sad with that hood on. >> Anything? No, ma'am. If you didn't do this, that would be on you. That's the only only reason. >> And you don't think she spit right in your face? >> That's fine. Okay. >> [laughter] >> You can step out. I like this cop. >> Let me know. I got you. >> Funny. >> I got you. I'm going to make sure it doesn't tighten on your wrist. I'll give you a fresh breath. But understand this, if you spit on me, I'm going to slam you on the car. >> I'm not going to spit on you, okay? >> I promise I won't spit on you. >> Okay. >> I spit a fresh breath of air. >> Oh, a little unsolicited uh adjustment there. >> You're breathing. I'm not taking it all the way off. Breathe. >> You just need a transporter like fast. >> There you go. You're good. Like too much of a delay, I would just try to get her to the jail like quick. I know this guy's like doing paperwork, he's back filling the call and stuff or whatever he has to do with the computer, the MDT, but my priority would be to get her gone. Curious, horizontal bars. Every cruiser I've had is always vertical bars. I can't really think of any reason why one would be better than the other. I don't know, if you guys can think of one, comment below. Why would horizontal be better than vertical? Or is it just different companies? I don't know. >> The sooner you get back in the car, the sooner I can get you out of at the jail, and you can be out of the car, out of the handcuffs, and that off your head. >> And out of my custody. Goodbye. >> [laughter] >> I will slam you. >> Got it? Okay, done? Okay, go ahead. Straight down. Go ahead. I got you. I don't want you to fall over, okay? >> Why is she spinning so much? >> Looking back at my car, it is ruined. So, you suffer from [laughter] claustrophobia, that's what this is. There we go. Let's go. Let's get out of here. >> Let's go, [laughter] brother. Pedal to the metal. >> What are you doing? You really trying to take that off with your kneecap? >> She's trying to get out of her little >> going to work. >> beekeeper uh hood. >> I don't know why you just don't behave. I mean, really, it's unnecessary. >> Well, I mean, that's She's not capable >> All right, this will be the end of the video cuz we have to we have to turn the video cuz we're inside the uh facility. >> Oh, thank you for letting us know. We'll get back to her charges in just a moment, but first the cops were called by Kohl's loss prevention when they spotted a woman stealing thousands of dollars worth of makeup. >> I was following me chasing me across traffic. >> Okay. It's probably cuz maybe you had stuff that didn't belong to you. >> I didn't do any of that. No, I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> He said >> So, if nothing happened >> and I said that's fine, you can trespass me. >> Okay. >> I said I've been walking today. >> Did you want to talk with me outside? Just so we're not in the middle of a doctor's office. >> I called my husband cuz he would not stop following me. Like he like chased me all the way across the street. I had to like >> So, already weird, right? Like some random guy just started chasing you, so you went into this waiting room and were sitting there quietly as if you were there to be seen. Little strange. >> Run through oncoming traffic to try to get away from him. I just >> Understood. Yeah, so we're we'll make it right, whatever is going on. Um We're going to make it right. foremost, so I like to uh stay safe and so he the guy who is following you, he called us um and then I guess did you also call us as well? >> Yeah, but I don't know if I didn't get routed to the right place or what. >> It It did come through, but >> I hung up when I got in here. The lady let me in here and she said she would call the police and I said okay and they said I could sit down. >> Yeah, so it did come through. >> Hello. >> Uh loss prevention is going to be at Firestone. Um going to try to recover some property from over there. So, we'll need someone to meet the LP guy at Firestone and then go to Kohl's as well. So, first and foremost, I just want to make sure everyone's safe. Um >> Yeah, so can you escort me and can you escort me away from here so that he can't follow me anymore? >> So, he is not here. So, he was here and he's over at Firestone now. >> She's really committing to this I'm being chased by some crazy stalker guy. She's really trying to get that victim angle cemented. >> Um because I guess that's where you were, and um it was believed that maybe some property that was in your bag might be in there. >> I have no have anything >> Um so that Um so there was mention that >> have it anymore. >> You mentioned to him that you're armed, and maybe that's just because you're scared. Um so >> It was because I'm scared. I do I can shoot I had you eat I don't want to go reaching in my bag or something. I can take it off. I can hand it to you >> Okay. >> if that makes you more comfortable. I can take my jacket off and hand it to you. >> Okay. Now, do you have any weapons currently? >> Okay. Would I be able to search your bag and make sure? >> Yeah. >> Here, um here, we'll wait by my car. It's a nice safe area here. >> So, she can absolutely be detained and searched. She's just being very polite and cordial trying to just get her to cooperate to the maximum amount, but sounds like, you know, loss prevention witnessed it. There's probably video. They're looking for the evidence now. So, there's definitely PC to check her back. >> He's right across the street. >> me across the street once. Like, what's to stop him? >> He's not So, I've I I know him um because >> Sure they deal with him all the time. >> and >> He's creepy. >> So >> a woman. Like, I had several old men ask me if I needed help. I had people like >> Um so let's start with the bag thing. So, uh you said no weapons and no stolen property in your bag or anything like that? >> Nope. >> Okay. Is Is it okay if I search it and make sure? And your jacket? >> All right. Other than this, how how's your day How's your day going other than this craziness, right? >> It's my first errand to start with. It's a nice day. >> Oh boy. >> I'm out walking to my errands. >> Obviously, like we heard earlier, she's being very cooperative giving the bag up to being searched because she knows she already ditched it somewhere. >> He's like getting playful. >> Is it okay if I take your ID out? >> was going to tell you absolutely. Yeah, it's it's out and >> Okay. >> Um Uh well No, cuz you don't need that. >> Ooh. Little crack in the veneer there of our nice little rapport. >> Okay. Well, as soon as uh it's determined whether a crime was or was not committed, um I will >> need to commit a crime. >> Well, we're going to find out. >> I don't have anything on me. I don't I did not commit a crime. >> Okay. So, it I'm just saying that because that guy is accusing you. >> So, she's kind of like, well, I've already told you I'm a victim, so I couldn't possibly be the one being investigated. >> I know, but I don't have anything on me. I I didn't I did not steal anything from you. >> So, so we're going to check the cameras at Kohl's. And if it's determined that you did, then I will get your ID. That's how that works. Okay? >> So, I can leave in the meantime? >> Nope. >> You're detained. You're not allowed to leave. >> Not at all. >> You'll be arrested. >> you detain me when I haven't committed a crime? >> Because someone >> I'm accusing him of a crime and you're not detaining him. >> One second. Getting a phone call. The bag that she had uh was full of stuff before she went to Firestone. Upon leaving Firestone, it's empty. So, it's believed that items were discarded inside of Firestone's bathroom. So, go over there. Um take pictures of the bathroom. At the end of the day, loss prevention um accusing her of stealing. >> And then like >> I'm not saying you did. >> clothes chasing me. >> Still still going for the victim card because she can feel the walls closing in and she knows they're going to find out. >> No crime has been committed. You have no proof. You have no right to detain me. >> Yes, I do. False. >> You're not leaving. If you leave, you're going to go to jail right now. So, you're staying right here. >> That's That's not true. >> That's how it works. And I already explained that to you, right? >> I know my rights and I >> But does anybody on these videos that we watch actually know their rights? I'm not so sure. >> I've not done anything wrong. You cannot detain me. >> Yeah. Someone accused you of a crime. >> I'm accusing him of a crime and you're not detaining him. >> So, he's called security? >> It doesn't matter who he is. You cannot harass me. But you cannot put your hands on people. You cannot chase people. I'm a female. >> We're not holding court in the street, ma'am. >> She's pulling out all the cards. >> You're going to stay here >> No. >> figure out what's going on. >> You know that that's illegal. >> Yes, ma'am. Now, put this back on and you're not leaving. >> Yes, I am. Let go of my stuff. >> Ooh. >> Because I didn't do Let go. Let go. I'm not Listen. >> Pretty harsh yank. Let go of the Let go of the jacket. Let go of the jacket. Detainer. Time to go in cuffs. You are not cooperating. What's going on? >> Oh my god. I know my [ __ ] rights. You guys are going to be in so much trouble. >> Okay. Well, you're being detained until so. I don't know. >> You're the one who got uncalm and it's on >> Calm down, miss. >> I was trying to put my jacket on. >> Okay. So, ma'am >> She's trying to put her jacket on. Maybe we can see that clip again when she yanked the coat. >> Yes, I am. Let go of my stuff. >> It didn't seem like what was going on. >> He searched my jacket. He searched my purse. Listen. >> I I understand. So, >> You searched my jacket. You searched my purse. It's windy. I wanted my jacket back on. That's it. >> Okay. >> You're the one who got violent. >> Cuz you're trying to leave the scene. >> I'm not trying to leave. >> You You just told us You told me you were leaving and you were putting your jacket on and walking away. What are you talking about? >> Okay. >> [laughter] >> You got me. Perfect. >> Okay. Okay. I understand. I understand. >> Okay. Thank you. So, ma'am, what we're going to do I'm going to have >> You understand this? >> And then once we're and then we're going to play the waiting game. >> Can you please take these off of me? >> The waiting game. >> They're hurting. >> They're not meant for comfort and >> I didn't do anything wrong. They are hurting me. >> So, how about this? How about you work with us cuz we're being nice to you >> You want >> and we're trying to escalate the situation. >> But if we can all agree to be nice, I >> Thank you. So, how about you take that off? >> Yeah, we can all agree to be nice, but you're being investigated for a crime and that's never going to feel nice. Apologies. >> I'm not yelling at you. I'm never going to yell at you. >> Didn't say that. Actually, you did. But that's irrelevant to right now cuz it's not a big deal. But let us figure out our job and figure out what's going on here and if nothing happened, you'll be on your way. >> And then you're going to be getting sued for doing this. >> Do what you need to do. >> Yeah, because I know you don't >> 18s after I have a female officer. >> All the money you want at your attorney. >> I'm not being uncooperative. >> Let's consider you're on this bench. >> items are recovered. She said about like two or three hundred dollars tonight. >> That's weird. Okay, cool. Take pictures of it. Um >> He's going to We're going to go back to Kohl's and then get the receipt and stuff. >> Okay. Sounds >> Whoopsie pie. >> pictures of what you have of the stolen merchandise. Um and then allow him to collect it. That way we don't have to do a photo release. And >> If he has it, he he brought the cash back from the Firestone bathroom outside. I'm taking a picture of it all together and then um he's going to take it back and then give me the receipt. >> Okay. >> I am >> Loss prevention guy is on it. >> Sounds good. >> Okay. >> I'll kill it over there. >> All right, so I'm going to read you your rights now. >> I didn't do anything. >> And I'm going to take your ID out. >> I didn't >> And I'm going to run your name. That's how that works. >> This is illegal. >> Yoink. >> [laughter] >> Yoink. >> This is illegal. >> No, it's not. >> Yes, it is. >> No, it's not. >> If you don't I'm not surprised you don't know it because a lot of officers don't understand the law, though. >> Oh my gosh, please. >> You have no right. I did not do anything wrong. I do not have any stolen property on me. >> Yeah, it's not on you cuz you but you still deprive Kohl's. All right, well >> it. >> Camera footage and a witness >> anything wrong. >> is probably going to say otherwise. >> She intended to permanently deprive them of their property and she was concealing it when she left the store. It's going to read [music] something like that. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> And you can't hold me. You can't >> Just watch her and Hey. Hey, he looks familiar. Um So, you have the right to remain silent. Any >> Here's the Miranda. Always have to do it. Very important. They want us to actually read from a card. That's why you see guys and gals reading from a card. And even some places they want you to photocopy that card and put that in the case file as well. >> Do you understand each of these rights I explained to you? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Do you know the meaning of perjury? >> Yes. >> Okay. I thought that's what perjury can be committed by telling lies or giving information under oath. Do you understand what I've said about perjury in the state of Florida? >> I do. >> Um Okay. Prior to taking this statement, I'm going to place you under oath. Please raise your right hand. >> I love it. Raise your right hand, take an oath right there in the field. We don't do that in my area, but I don't see why not. I think it's great. >> Do you swear and affirm that the statement you're about to give is the whole truth and nothing but the whole truth? >> Yes. >> Okay, go ahead. >> You may start. >> So, on today's date, which is March 4th, 2025, I was on duty as the loss prevention supervisor for Kohl's Department Store number 1209, located at 19600 Cochran Boulevard, Port Charlotte, Florida. Um while I was walking the sales floor, here at the Kohl's store >> I think this guy's done this once or twice before. >> Um I noticed a middle-aged white female wearing a green coat, short denim shorts, and light-colored shoes. I noticed that she had a large bag beneath her jacket in what I would describe as hidden because I could really only see like a bottom glimpse of the bag, but I could see that it was pretty full and there was it was definitely under there. Uh so, I was suspicious of that, so I came back to the LP office where I reviewed closed circuit television surveillance, uh CCTV. And so, when I rewound the CCTV, I was able to confirm that she entered the doors she entered the store via the misses doors at 9:20 a.m. At which point she proceeded directly to Sephora. >> 1:28 or 30? >> Uh 1 >> Sephora. So, ladies and guys with ladies, you know how expensive makeup is, how quickly that price tag can add up. And in Florida, they are one of those states that has a threshold for misdemeanor to felony. So, we'll see if she gets there, but I believe in Florida it's like 7 or $800 and up is grand theft. So, let's see. Stay tuned. >> 9:20. And then so, when she came into the store at via the misses doors at 9:20 a.m., she proceeded directly to Sephora where she immediately selected several items off the shelves and she concealed them under her jacket into the bag. And then she would pull her jacket closed to further hide the bag from plain view. As I said, on camera you clearly see her picking up items. Her She puts them in her bag and then she would she would fluff her coat to to hide the bag. Um which is like I said, when I noticed her as I walked the sales floor. I confirmed concealment. I began watching her. Um saw some more concealment of some clothes and then eventually she exited the store uh via >> I just have to say this is a great statement this guy is giving. Very thorough. Excellent job. >> Uh she passed the left point of sale without paying for any of the merchandise. Um but anyways, I approached her, identified myself as loss prevention. I was on the phone with dispatch at that point, so that's probably, you know, a recorded thing. Um but anyways, I identified myself as Kohl's loss prevention. I asked for the merchandise back. >> I'm not defending her at all, but this guy doesn't look like he's working in an official capacity at all with the jeans and the t-shirt and the hair like a one of the Beatles. So, there's that. >> I asked her again, you know, I would like the stuff back that's in the bag beneath your jacket. I know you have the four stuff. I watched you on camera. I'm a representative of the store. I need my stuff back. I need you to come back. Trespass you. Um she refused. She was uncooperative and she ran with the merchandise in the bag under her jacket to Firestone and she went Well, she's kind of causing a scene when she went in. She pretty much was saying to the men up front, uh help me. I'm like just a victim and this guy is like a stalker or something. >> That's dirty pool. We all know that in general we want to protect women. We want to believe what women are saying, make sure they're safe and she's using that kind of social credit to try to get this guy off her tail. >> So, anyways, she ran into the bathroom and I explained the situation to them and when she came out of the bathroom her bag was now flat like a pancake. When as I said when she went in >> Flat as a pancake. >> her bag was bulging full. She started I was not I didn't ever touch her and I never really even got close to her. I was just like following her like from a distance while on the phone with the police. She clearly knew who I was. She knew why I was approaching her, but she attempted to basically reverse the roles or cause some sort of She tried to like >> Flip the script. >> by screaming at the top of her lungs in front of Millennium in a crowded area. She started to go, help. This guy is a stalker. Uh I need police and then so as I said it caused a little bit of a panic >> He's desperate. >> Millennium you know, they they took her in and we'll we'll we'll we'll keep you safe from, you know, the domestic violence or whatever sort of, you know, craziness is going on you poor little >> The weird guy with shaggy hair. >> I know I was I >> Just kidding. He's a good hair guy. >> I didn't even enter the facility. I stand outside as to not like further escalate that and I communicated to like the manager, whoever, you know represented them that you know my role and what was going on and that I showed them I was on the phone with the police. So I tried to like de-escalate it as much as possible. Um but anyways so yeah eventually the police arrived. I believe the first deputy on scene was deputy Joseph Genkowsky so I >> Memory on this kid. You got applications in to be a cop? I want to look into it. >> explained to him briefly the [clears throat] scenario and then right away I went back to Firestone to secure the merchandise. And so I went in the bathroom and uh I looked around. I didn't see anything at first but then I lifted up the garbage bag and I noticed it was really heavy and then that's when I peeked through and I saw that there was clearly um Sephora products and Kohl's tags and all the stolen merchandise was there in the garbage beneath a heap of uh you know toilet paper and stuff etc. whatever have you garbage. Um so she she clearly went into the >> Swinging a miss. >> concealing everything. Um so anyways she was detained. Uh that's where we're at. We found all the merchandise. Um Kohl's does wish to pursue charges. As of the total I haven't gotten that yet. All I have to do is scan this in and I'll let you know you know here in the next five >> I don't think they're going to have a receipt or anything. >> Yeah absolutely. So so what once I get the total >> We'll see how much stuff she got. >> Is there No no we we were shopping >> Those fancy skin serums add up quick. That's a lot. >> She didn't pull the tags off things. That's the worst. I got to >> I bet that's a felony. >> She didn't have time. >> You can find her at a good time. She fled. She was like "Ah they're not going to find this in the bathroom." >> Yeah I know. It's like I guess it was a clever one. I mean at least like it's not something I've seen really like much before. Like the the whole bag under the jacket trick. Oh crap. Well yeah that would be You familiar with these brands? >> Oh yeah. Oh yeah Estee Lauder.
