On September 17th, 2024, officers rushed to a Skechers store after reports that an employee [music] had been running a refund scam across multiple locations. Investigators uncovered a trail of falsified returns, missing cash, and an apology letter admitting [music] everything. Suspicious returns taking place at another store, West Palm Beach, uh Military Trail. Um they have cameras. So, I was able to log log into the system and validate that she was falsifying returns. In West Palm? In West Palm Beach and here. So, she started over there [music] from August to her last day there, came over here, helped them with the new store opening with the shipment. Store has been open since Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, we got fraud taking place as well. Been open [music] for 3 days, 2 days of which already have fraud linked to it. Me and Helen, my auditor team, down because this is our domain, this is what we do. Now, we spoke to her, see what's going on, and she explained everything.
