You're on section 8. Your rent's only $100, $650. I live in California and it's income based. Where are you getting this? Is that what your mama paid? Is that who your mama hook up? Can I get a Tell your mama to hook me up just just signed up executive order to stop housing assistance. That mean if you pay zero rent, you won't pay zero rent. You going to be paying rent. President Trump just signed an executive order that we could no longer have free housing assistance. You can no longer have subsidi housing. You can no longer have section A. You can no longer get any assistance. What have y'all done? And oh, this is terrible. You could no longer get section A. You could no longer get housing assistance. And you could no longer get subsidiary housing and zero rent. President Trump sign an executive order. What's up, family? Let's talk about these housing cuts again. I don't think y'all get it. Today, I went to an affordable housing conference and you won't believe what I heard. Senior citizens, those 55 and older, have experienced a 101% increase in being homeless. Honey, senior citizens are living in their cars. And we have an administration that that could possibly cut 43% from our housing budget. Y'all okay with that? Cuz I'm not. Again, it's why I'm running for office because if you're lucky, you'll get to be a senior citizen. But nobody wants to live out their end of life like this. Peace. Section 8 is on the chopping block, y'all. In case you didn't know, so President Trump is pushing the Congress to cut the section 8 program by 40%. Which is over $30 billion. This cut to section 8 won't be temporarily or permanent to the housing program. I want you to know that if you are disabled or on disability, Donald Trump wants you off section 8 in less than 2 years. Can you imagine the insanity? Donald Trump wants recipients to either work or go find some other type of housing program. Definitely not section A. He is also pushing that the section 8 voucher be stopped completely after 2 years and no renewals or extensions. Donald Trump is not bluffing this time. He is taking the necessary actions needed to end section 8 support. So if you know you rely on section 8, you need to start taking actions on what you will need to do in order not to be shocked when Congress finally approves the cop. So apparently Trump is proposing a bill that will cut section 8 funding. You don't have to be someone that utilizes section 8 to see the damage that this man is trying to cause. Why is it when money needs to be cut, they want to try to take from lowincome families but not make their rich friends pay their taxes if the people who were well off would just pay their taxes? No money would need to be cut. And people seem to think that, oh, ghetto people are just the ones with section 8. No is made for lowincome families, people with disabilities, veterans, people that just need help paying their rent. It just seemed like to me that they like to attack groups that are the most vulnerable instead of getting more money from the groups that are more stable. That's just crazy to me. And at some point, you got to think, these people are really evil. You're cutting funding from people who already can't afford their housing. How evil do you sound? Section 8 has paved the way for many people to be able to have roof and housing over their heads. So, to make that a primary focus for cutting, it's just weird to me. diabolical, if you will. So, let me get this straight. The guy with gold toilets wants to end section 8. So, the Trump administration is now floating the idea of cutting section 8. You know, the program that keeps grandma from living in her car or a mother with children living in a shelter. But wait, billionaires get tax breaks the size of Texas. And that's all cool, but helping people afford a one-bedroom, socialism. This ain't about budget, y'all. It's about punishment. Nothing says make America great again like making the poor homeless and building more golf courses at Mara Lago. The cherry on top is some of you are actually out here cheering this on. Like you ain't got a voucher in your cousin's name and a PO box in your aunt's zip code. Be serious. Should your landlord be a politician, too? Or should we start actually voting like housing matters? Cuz rich people ain't playing. They want everything. We have some very, very bad news. White House proposed elimination of section 8 housing vouchers. This plan will also cap rental aid for able-bodied adults at 2 years. May 5th. This is really bad for people who on section 8 housing. The White House has proposed a elimination aid to get rid of section A voucher. Let me say this. There's a lot of people already going homeless due to the cut funding budget in California stuff. That stuff is not being talked about. But Donald Trump is making cuts. And in those cuts are things like SSI, things like SSD, things like getting money from the government, food stamps assistance, things of that nature. This will affect a lot of people. And let me say this, not everybody will get cut off, but a good majority of people will. It will happen to a good majority of people, but not everybody will be cut off. So, a lot of y'all will still be on it. But a lot of it, most majority who have section A will be cut off. Not only just section 8, but many other government assistance due to the cut spending budget. Guess which race has the highest percentage of people on section 8. So, the vast majority are definitely Caucasian. And I only know this because I've been a section 8 investor the last 10 years. And I'm going to share the dirty secret about how some of these folks are still living six-figure lifestyles while qualifying for government assistance. 7 years ago, I had an 8 figureure mentor teach me all about leveraging OPM and trust structures. His friends and associates have been gaming the system using these trust structures for decades. They're using other people's money and credit to buy these assets that the trust structures own. All the income that's coming from these assets are going directly to the trust. As a trustee, they can pay themselves a little bit of nothing every year, therefore qualifying for section 8 or government assistance if they choose to. The income also allows these trustees to pay for trust expenses. Think about all the needs of a beneficiary. School, clothing, daycare, shelter, you name it. Now, they also have the resource to set up something like a private family bank. So, while you're getting judged on your W2 income, they're able to pay themselves based on the acceptable poverty levels. Now, oftentimes, I don't know why people got it in your head that when you receive um a voucher or anything like that, that you don't work or you don't have other bills, like, yeah, they pay your rent, but they don't pay your lights, they don't pay your gas, they don't pay your car note, they don't put food on the table, they don't, you know, buy your kids clothes and shoes. So you still have to get up and make money. And you still pay a portion of your rent when you make money. And so yes, it's an assistance, but it is not a fixer. It does not get the job done. And so I think it's a constant misconception that people who receive um government assistance are lazy or don't have to work or any of those things. And so, um, anyways, I I went somewhere left with it. I went left with it because my whole purpose of like creating this video was to say that, um, use the resources to the best of your ability. Like, if you are in that situation, if you do have public assistance and like I said, and you have goals, because most of us do, then turn those goals into objectives. Meaning, make a plan. Identify the small steps you need to take to actually reach that destination. and start taking those steps. So whether it's working with a financial educator to learn how to manage your money, whether it's um picking up a side gig to make more money, whether it's picking up an extra job or starting a business or a combination of all three. It's like you make the plan and you work the plan until the plan no longer works. Supposedly, I don't know if this is true. I don't know if this is factual, but section 8 will be cut come 2025 or later 2025. This is what I've seen on I think it was on Facebook. I didn't even go and fact check, but I want to address a comment that I seen and it was like this is good because people be on section 8 and they abuse it. And it's like how is this good? Whether a group of people are abusing a resource if you take the whole resource away for the people that's not abusing it, we don't have it. And I feel like that was always a problem with, you know, Trump voters or people who didn't sign with Kla Harris because they thought that they was just giving out, you know, awards. Everybody's getting participation awards. No, they were giving out, you know, research for people who needed it just because you fell through the loop of, you know, freeloaders and stuff like that. That's that's just what what happens when you have a public service or public resources. But when you take it away, now people are scrging and when people get in survival when people do things that they would not normally do. So it puts you at a danger. So even if you're not a part of the section 8 community, you get around somebody who need to feed their family and watch what they do and watch how they act and watch how people move. And I think that's what, you know, Trump is kind of bargaining at. He's getting at, you know, stir crazy. People become fearful for their lives. The survival of the fittest. So certain, you know, government assistance that's now been taken away is not an act of service. It's not, oh, everybody's going to get up on their own two feet. No, people don't have it like that. It's not like everyone is not dealt the same card. So, you're not going to be like putting everybody at the same uh starting line and then whatever whatever. No, this is going to be crazy. I don't know if it's true that they're taking away section 8, but that wasn't, you know, that wasn't a really good comment. It was very ignorant because like what people better start taking Trump seriously like if show me better than you could tell me who was a person, it's him. He's what now talking about getting rid of housing. Um that is literally going to force people that have not paid that amount and whatever their rent costs homeless that is about to literally force people into the streets. And everybody keeps saying the same thing. Oh, he's not going to do this or he can't get away with this or our constitution is so strong. Literally, he is getting away with a lot of stuff. What's funny is people are really taking this as a joke when you cannot determine anymore what will pass or what won't pass. Your president has now proposed dismantling HUD housing and urban development along with the section 8 vouchers. He says that he preferred just, you know, the states come up with their own housing program. So, he's going to dismantle, take apart housing and urban development along with them vouchers and just let the state come up with some type of housing program. What did I tell y'all? I don't care what side of the aisle you on, red, blue, in between, everyone will feel the wrath of this president eventually. Unless you're wealthy, if you're wealthy, you're probably good. But if you just a everyday regular schmegula, everyone is going to feel the wrath of this irrational man that is in the White House in Washington DC. Okay? All of you who said it don't matter who you vote for, at least Miss Harris would have kept the um section 8 intact. all of y'all. And I'm talking about my people. You know who y'all are. Oh, she not she claiming black. She ain't really black. She a Indian. Okay, that might be valid. But again, at least you wouldn't be in this mess you in now if you had voted for her. All of y'all on the red side feeling the repercussions cuz you didn't want a person of color or a woman sitting at the top of the helm. All of you guys that were so angry cuz Obama won and you vowed it would never be another person of color. y'all out there in the trailer parks. What has he done for you lately? Well, anyway, that's the update on section 8 and housing. You know what? You know, Trump wants to end public housing in section 8. And if you're a beneficiary from that, you might want to get involved civically. Um because you know what? Housing is a basic need. And if you can't pay market rent for housing and you getting that section 8, uh you might want to get involved in your community some way of some form of fashion because he talking about you don't supposed to be on that for your whole life. And actually, it is not designed for that. But you know what? Like I said, I manage those properties and there's a lot of people that stay there for life. Though that that that that section 8 is is is is designed to give you a leg up and when you on your feet, somebody else can use it. They can get on their feet. And I I believe that is the reason why we have affordable housing issues because people want to stay there for the rest of their life. Understand they do have specific housing for disabled and mental health that's different. But if you able-bodied and you can afford you and you can afford to get out there and get a job, get educated so you can make more money or whatever. And this is my opinion because I've seen people just mooch off the system and I couldn't do nothing about it. I am disabled. I don't have section 8 housing. Never had section 8 housing. And you know what? It's funny. On my YouTube channel, somebody had a nerve to make a comment. People like you always need a handout. Nope. Not at all. Not at all. Yeah, I had I had to have a hand out when I was homeless due to a job leaving me stranded with no place to go. But soon as I got off that because they all up in I don't I don't want nobody all up in my business. But you know, I've seen people mooch off the system. I've seen every time I reertify their application for their apartment that they're living in, everything looks the same. Compare it. Everything looks the same. run through compliance to see if compliance is going to do something. Compliance don't do nothing. Therefore, I have no power. If compliance don't see nothing off, I'm like, "Oh, well, I can't do nothing off." I do the number, send it off to compliance. They make the final approval if they stay or go. But I tell you that that is the reason why, you know, y'all want to have all this stuff, but y'all don't want to fight for it. You want somebody to give it to you. Well, right now you going to have to fight for it or it's going to be taken away from you. So, would you want to sit out on the street or you want to keep your home and keep all your other rights that you have rights to? I mean, I'm just saying make that make sense. Final thoughts. All jokes aside though, personally don't think that this is a good time to be implementing this because unless housing prices drop or wages increase, a lot of people will go homeless. And not only that, insecurities will significantly increase across America. Desperate times calls for desperate measures and people are going to freak out. And I know that everyone including me would love to see people level up, change their mindsets by taking care of themselves. That would be the ideal, right? But for the most part, a lot of people who have been on the program for ages, even while they were young in high school, are not going to respond like that. But that's my opinion. Let me know what is your own take on this issue down in the comments. And please don't forget to like, share the video, and subscribe to the channel if you haven't.
