a witness reported seeing a 4-year-old walking with an adult who appeared impaired another witness observed the adult male stumbling while the child sat on a wall at the corner both Witnesses me and my wife the one who do not want to or do you do or don't we want to so what I'm getting at is that then a case can be made right so what we're going to do is we're going to write up a case to CPS as as well as charges against your brother for his behavior um you can go to the court and petition to become his so legal custodians if he doesn't want anything to do with him he can sign him over and then you can take custody of him um but you could also look into like getting protection orders which would protect you guys from him and that would make it a lot faster because it's DV and he'd get arrested so I would if you're serious about it start looking into because ultimately today you guys are protecting him and obviously always your brother that you know that yeah and that's what I'm saying is is like I would genuinely look into and we'll get your information and note in our report but start looking into the process to take legal custodianship over him because if he's unfit he doesn't need to be makes sense and we will we will support it as much as we can we'll do our part as much as we can okay 46 we'll take one more if one's available sure the you take to the uncle provided further details about his brother's Behavior he explained that his brother frequently acted irresponsibly and that the child's mother had left due to his brother's abusive Behavior returning only every few weeks to check on her children CPS already familiar with the family noted they had custody of the couple's older child after the four-year-old was medically cleared CPS took
