And then he I I ripped my entire fucking shit up >> and I shut the window and called the cops. Yes. He grabbed me by this arm and fucking >> Did you know him? >> No. He paid with credit card. He was a customer. >> What's his Does his card have a name on it or anything? >> Right here. Ezekiel. I don't know if it's a stolen credit card. He was in a in a >> in a scion TC, right? >> Yes. Never. Ever. Ever. First time. >> Okay. So, I know you described him to the dispatch on the phone, but what did he look like? He was like a a barely fucking Hispanic, super fucking white guy with a blue bandana on his head and a blue like Dodgers bright fucking blue Dodgers jersey. I was joking. I was like, "What? Your favorite color is fucking blue?" Like, >> and like patterned fake fucking Louis Vuitton jeans. Like blue jeans with the fake fucking designer shit all over them. Uh, anybody else in the car with him? >> No, he was by himself. >> Okay. Okay. Um, did he mention anything? Like, how long was he here? >> He was here for like I was making his fucking drink for probably like two or three or four fucking minutes, whatever. Chatting with him like a any normal fucking customer, you know? What are you up to? Anything else in the conversation that was >> No, I said probably when I was going I was like, "Are you fucked up right now?" Cuz bro was fucking acting stupid and he says, "Yeah, kind of." And then bro tries to pull me out of the fucking window. >> Okay. All right. Um, do you I see red marks on your wrist right there. >> All up my arm. >> All of my arm >> in my fucking armpit. >> Jesus. Bro fucking tried to pull me out of the fucking window. >> All right, let me get my camera. We'll get pictures of your red marks and stuff and we'll uh keep looking for them here. >> All right, ready, Margaret? >> Okay. See your wrist right there. [Music] Okay, you're outside your arm. Okay. Anything else on you that you feel right here? >> Fucking all over my shoulder. >> Okay. [Music] I assume like your arm was just getting like yanked against the >> right here. I always I grab this fucking window whenever I go to fucking lean out this window cuz bitch, you got me fucked up. You got me so fucked up. >> Sure. >> When are these retards going to figure out the center of gravity? Holy fuck. Are they fucking stupid? >> With this fucking credit card and not even cash. No, my boss probably does not give a single fuck, honestly. >> I can ask. >> Yeah, >> I knew it happened at two fucking 220 >> and all my cameras are working right now and they were working. So, I don't know. I can fucking ask. >> Okay. So I got fucking almost snatched out the window. >> Yeah, I know in the past with things here the whoever your boss is hasn't been like super responsive to getting us video right away. I assume that's probably the same. >> Okay. All right. What's his name? >> Al something. I don't fucking know. >> All right. Um, how late are you working tonight? >> 4. >> Okay. So, >> I get to go home at 4. >> All right. So, if we can find him, then we'll uh we'll come back. >> We'll uh we'll get you >> execute him on the spot, please. >> What the actual fuck? >> Because my camera's going right now, I will say. No, we we can't do that. >> Um but hopefully we'll be able to identify him. Okay. >> Let me get you a case. We'll get we'll get out of here. 32. Can I have a case number? >> Not right now. She doesn't have access to it. There you go, Margaret. >> All right, we'll go try to find him. >> I can take All right. Easy. You want something to drink? Uh, >> you probably have a bottle of water somewhere. If you want water, >> I'm going to have you sit right there. Right there for me. Um, okay. Just so you know, science says we're being audio video recorded. You understand that, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Uh, you're 19 years old. >> Yeah. 19. >> Um, all right. I want I I I do want to talk to you about this. And look, here's the thing, man. I'm not here to make you look >> I just I want to give you an opportunity to explain what happened. And then we're just going to go about our way. Okay. But before that, I obviously you're in custody. >> I have to read you your constitutional rights. Okay. >> Okay. Disappoint. You're right. At this time of your choice after present before this time to turn your choice and to have your return present before inter. Do you under do you understand each of the rights that I have explained to you? >> Yeah. >> Having been made fully aware of these rights, do you wish to voluntarily wish to answer questions now? >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Um, >> yeah. Okay, do me a quick favor. If you could just sign here. All it says is that I read you these rights or that you understand those rights. That's it. Cool. All right. Okay. So, there's no real Oh, actually, I need to read this thing, too. Custodial interrogation law. This is Detective Jeff Martin with the Lakewood Police Department. Today's date is August 25th, 2025, and the time now is 3:22 p.m. The video contains a recorded custodial interrogation between Ezekiel Guerrero and myself along with Detective Latimer. Okay. Um, what happened? Um, I'm going just be forward, you know. I mean, I could ask for attorney, but I figured I mean, you guys seen uh, if I'm being honed up that night, um, I I was drinking. I was, uh, I was CrossFit. I was all of it. Um, I remember I was uh, I had had something. I had lost a thousand that night. I remember being angry and I was drinking and um, I had my ex uh she she just we're just over and so I was like in a sad moment. I remember I was just super drunk. I don't remember uh too much of everything. I remember I was drinking and um I I had ended up uh there and all I remember is um she asked me a question and then uh I had uh reached in and then uh I remember opening my eyes and then the moment she had like said help I let go and um I just stopped put my let her go put the thing and that's it like I I I I was I'm being completely honest. I was I was super drunk that night. I I was smoking all of it. And uh that night I just um I don't know. I It was It was a mistake. It It was honestly uh I didn't mean it. Like that's not me. I promise. Like it was just genuinely like it was just the moment that I had I wish that I didn't you know it it was a mistake and like I don't remember everything. I remember being angry and uh I was drinking and I had lost 1,000 and I was just upset and I was I don't know. I I just remember reaching in and then I I remember seeing and then she had said, "Oh, let go. That's it." Left. That's it. >> Had you ever been there before? >> Um maybe one time before. Like a while back. Not not like regular or anything like that. Do you remember what you ordered? >> Uh, I always get a strawberry smoothie. That's my I never get anything else. I always get a a strawberry smoothie and I I know cuz in the next morning I seen the strawberry smoothie in my car. >> What do you mean? >> Like the strawberry smoothie was in my car. >> Like a container? >> Yeah. No, like the drink. I never finished it. I never even drank it. >> What made you so angry? >> Uh, the the thousand. >> So you lost a,000? >> I lost 1,000. I was I was I was very sad. I was upset. My um my ex we were going through things and uh I felt alone. Uh I know I was just drinking and I was I was smoking and uh I had like flashes and I just remember I remember being there. I remember going there and then I remember like at a moment of time uh she had asked me a question somehow like be messed up or something like that and say uh yeah. And then um after that uh I I remember reaching vividly, grabbing her, she said, "Help." The moment she said help, I let go and I got out of there. I didn't I didn't escalate nothing or I didn't do nothing. Like uh it was generally just a I wasn't in the right mind. Like I I'm genuinely am sorry. Like it was just a mistake. >> How'd you lose a thousand? Gambling. >> No, no, no, not not gambling. I had a thousand on me and I was drunk and I remember dropping my wallet. I lost my key fob too from uh to my work and so I could I had to get that replaced. I lost some uh receipts in my wallet that night too and I I was just upset and so I literally I I mean I don't know I was just drunk and I it was just a it was just a bad night for me. I'm sorry. >> And you say you were smoking marijuana so you were drunk and stoned? >> Yeah. Yeah. It was just it was just a bad night. >> Were you angry at the at the barista? >> No. No. No, no, no, no, no, no. I I just I remember I was just angry because uh of the thousand and uh the situation that me and my ex were going through and then I just felt alone and then I I don't know. I remember uh I don't I don't I don't even know like I remember I was going home and um I ended up there. I seen the place, ended up there and then all that happened and I just I just remember letting go and then uh just driving. I didn't like want nothing. Like I just let go, drove off, and that was it. >> What? I know it sounds like it was kind of a spur of the moment thing, right? Like it just happened. >> Yeah. And I'm like I'm I'm so like I didn't even remember the full thing. Like I I I remember I was there. I remember it happened, but I don't even remember the full thing. Like I'm being honest. like I I was drunk and I was drinking and it it was just I was smoking and I I was I wasn't right mind state, you know, and and I get it. That's not the great an excuse, but I'm genuinely am sorry. And I I don't remember I don't remember even intending to want to do that. I just it was just kind of like it just happened. I don't know why I did it. And and like I I'm like I promise you I'm like I'm not that type of person, but it's just like I'm very sorry. Like I I really am. >> What do you think you would have done had you pulled her through the window? >> I I promise you like at at that moment at that time I wasn't I wasn't even like I don't even I don't even remember like physically grabbing her like that. Like like I promise you in that mo the moment I I snapped back I promise you I let her go cuz she had said help and I just drove off. I I didn't do nothing. had it. I didn't I like I didn't I just remember like and like I swear I like I it was just a terrible moment and I I pul I don't even remember like actually like want having a reason why to do that. Like I remember it was just I was drunk. I was messed up. I was angry and I I did it and then like I seen what I was doing and I let go and I just drove off. >> Where did you go after you left there? >> I just went home. I just I just I remember just going home and going to bed and that was pretty much it. >> Do you remember the drive home? >> Oh, yeah. Like vivid. Yeah, like vividly. >> Vividly remember? >> Vividly I remember driving home. >> Do you do you remember once you got home? What did you do when you got home? >> Uh I just I remember going straight to my bed and that was it. I I fell asleep. >> Okay. But you remember that? >> Yeah. No, no. Uh I I do remember uh making it to my uh my room. And >> where's your room at? Like what when you say your house, where's your house? >> Uh edge of um >> Okay. >> What's your what's your address where you live? >> Oh, well right right now current I was staying with my brother right now. Um >> so your exgirlfriend is a girlfriend >> that lives at South G. >> Yeah. >> And she's driving your other car here in Morano. >> No. So that's not my car no more. It was um >> Sto. It it it was uh there was um I had got the car switched out out of my name. So, it's not in my name no more. It's not in my car, but like it was in my car. It pulled out of my name, but it's not in my name no more. >> It actually is. >> It's still in your name. >> When did you sell it? >> I I paid uh I paid I got all the paperwork for the uh >> Oh, it may not have caught up. How long ago did you do this? >> This was like maybe like a month and a half ago. Two months ago. >> Two months ago. >> Yeah. Usually within 45 days. >> I like I have all the >> That's fine. It's not It's not That's not why it's >> Yeah. Yeah. No, I get it. But I just like >> But you were up there cuz you went back to your ex's house cuz your car was parked on street for a couple of days. >> Couple days. >> Yeah. Afterwards, at least one. >> Wait, wait, which one? Wait, what do you mean? >> Your car that you're driving now. >> What? >> That car at So after this incident on the 18th on the 20th, your car was at South G Street. >> Yeah. >> So So you did go back to I mean it doesn't matter, right? And you weren't >> I mean I mean if I if I did we would probably just wanted to talk. I mean we we've been open to talking to each other about stuff. But >> how old is she? >> She's 24 now. >> Okay. So she does she have a child? >> Yeah, she has three little one. >> She has three. She has three. >> Oh, she has three. Okay. >> Okay. Okay. Well, I mean I think it goes without saying you scared the hell out of this girl. Um I mean it's cut and dry, right? I mean, you used a credit card, you used a debit card with your name on it, the cars registered to you, you're on video. Um, I mean, it sounds like it was probably an impulsive action or impulsive thing that you did, but you know, this girl >> Yeah, I get it. >> It's 2:30 in the morning, right? Lakewood's not an easy town. >> Yeah, I get it. >> It just, you know, we're not here to condemn you by any means. You know, for the longest time, we've been trying to figure out like what what like what was your what was your goal or >> No, no. I I get it. I would I I don't even know why I even showed up there, bro. Like, I was drunk. I was upset. And I don't even remember like talking to her at first. Like, I'm being like, it was just a moment. I just flashes like I'm I was drunk. I was smoking. I was I was I was fucked up. Like, I'm just like being real. Like I was like, >> "Is that you?" >> Yeah, that's me. >> Okay. And then obviously that's your arm with your same tattoo that you have right now. And that's off your Instagram photograph, right? And that's how we match those up. So, um, this is obviously a picture. It looks like your right hand, but it's in the mirror. So, it's reversed. Um, where were you at? Like where where did you where were you drinking at or hanging out? >> Uh I was honestly just drinking. I I was at my house. I was drinking at my house and I was drinking in my car. I was just I was in the right state of mind. I was depressed honestly. Like I felt sad, you know, like in a sad state of mind and I was just kind of >> How'd you pick that stand? Cuz that stand's nowhere near yours. >> That's kind of off the beaten path for you. Um, that's just the only one that I know that's always open at that time that No, there's no other one. So, that's why I knew. >> Do you hang out Lakewood at all? >> No. >> Just pass through occasionally? >> No, no, no. I like I I had known that I was going to stop at the barista, but uh I knew that was the only one in open in that area. So, that's why I didn't go like I don't go out to that area. I just had to win. I was drinking. I was in the right state of mind. Like, it was just an idea. I thought it was good, you know. >> Did you think we'd be coming eventually? >> I mean, I'm I'm not sure. I mean, I I figured like, you know, like cuz like if I'm being honest, like I was like I woke up the next morning and I knew what I had done, but I was like like it it wasn't me. Like I I like I I don't know. Like I'm very sorry. And uh I just like I I figured uh if something happens, you know, I understand what I did, you know, like I wasn't like I'm I'm very sorry. Like I I understand what I did. So I said just if anything happens. >> So at the moment, I mean, you said you went through a fit of anger or rage. I think you said anger, not rage. But what did she do to prompt that? Like did she say something? Did she say something to offend you? Did she >> uh No, no, no. I It was like, like I said, I wasn't like I was talking to her and I was there, but like I wasn't there. Like my mind I was just drunk and I my mind I was just focused on like everything that like >> What triggered you though? Like what was that final second that because I'll tell you what happened. >> Yeah. >> She handed you the drink. You took the drink and threw it on the ground. So it's like when you hand when she handed you the drink, it almost was as if in your mind you said, "Okay, this is the end of the conversation. The contact is over and you just like that. You threw it, you grabbed her, you tried to pull her, you lost your grip, you went to reach up high on her arm, and she was able to kind of break free because she locked her knees against the counter." But you got to take me to that point of what made you jump from zero to 100 so quickly? >> Uh like like I said, I'm being honest. Like I wasn't in the right state of mind. Like I don't even remember the full conversation we I had with that woman. Like it was it was just a second. I just I remember thinking like I was I was in and out of it like my mind mind-wise and I was I just like I don't know like I remember being there and I I was getting the drink and then I remember I had grabbed her and then she asked for help and then I let go and that was it. Like I didn't like I just drove off. Like I don't know like I'm very sorry. Like I know like I remember going home. I remember waking up the next morning and I had remember what I did but I it was very like it was just like flashes. Like I don't remember like I'm very sorry. Like it it wasn't me. Like I'm I'm being honest and like I I know I like I I'm sorry. Like if I keep repeating myself I'm just like it's kind of like like I'm sorry. Like it's just so real. Like but I'm just being honest. like I was drunk and I was fucked up. I wasn't in the right state of mind and I had I knew I knew that that was the only place like that open at that time and so I was drinking and so I figured I'd stop by and I remember uh I don't even remember the full conversation. I had went uh I remember getting the order. I remember uh reaching for her and then after she had said uh after she had stopped and said help, I let go and that was it. That was the end of it. >> How often do you go to a to bik? >> Never. That that was literally just a drunk idea. I hardly go to >> So what was the what was the idea? I mean what Forgive me cuz I'm a woman. >> No. No. I get it. I get it. I get it. >> But what in the middle of the night I get you've broken up with your girlfriend. Are you lonely? You know what? What makes you say instead of going to like Dairy Queen and getting the smoothie, I'm gonna go see a girl >> that's not wearing >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what what what is in your mind when you when you make the decision to drive to Lakewood? >> No, no, no. I get that. I get that. Like like I saying, I I don't know. I wasn't in the right state of mind. I wasn't thinking like it just came to mind. I thought it was a good idea. I figured, oh, you know what? You know, like f it. I'm drunk. uh um single, you know, it was just kind of an idea that came in my mind. I was in the right mind state of mind and I'm like very sorry. Like >> but I guess my my question is like did you think maybe you could get a date >> like or you just want to go see a pretty girl or do do you think that maybe >> um honestly I don't I would I probably just see like probably just to see the pretty girl. Yeah. But like I don't not like a date or anything like that. Were you angry? Were you angry at women or in general because of what you were going through? >> No. No, I'm not angry at women in general. >> No. At that time, were you pissed at her, so maybe you took it out. You pissed at your ex, so you maybe took it out on this girl when you maybe saw it wasn't going anywhere. >> Uh oh. Can you rephase that one? >> So, were you I know you said you were angry and sad. You had all these >> wide variety of emotions. Is it possible that when you got there, maybe you took it out on the barista? Um, no. I don't think so. Uh, I think it I think it was just like emotions in general that that I've been building up over time because uh uh I I did that day I didn't see my ex like uh I had went to her house and she wasn't there and so I left and I was like oh and we already going through things and so it's like okay like I get and I get it like you know what I'm saying like oh I'm just going to let let her do her like you know what I'm saying? And so I just I was going through it. I don't know. I just not in the right state of mind and I just everything happened quickly and I just I don't know. I just >> If I could ask what what is the what is the reason that you and your girl or your ex-girl are having problems? >> Uh just just we're we're just realizing we're not we're not >> not compatible. >> No. Yeah. We we're like, you know, Five five year age difference too, right? >> Yeah. Four four year four and a half. And she has children. Yeah. So it's a little you know we try to make it work but you know it is a >> How long were you guys together? >> Like 10 months. >> Okay. >> You're not uh where are you working at? You working in Kent? >> Yeah. >> What was where was it at? A chocolate factory. Did I hear that? No. Uh uh >> uh it's like coffee. >> No, it's a it's a muffin. A muffin factory. >> I thought he said chocolate. Okay. >> Okay. So, you're working. You're not out running the streets. >> No. No. I'm working. >> Not linked up with >> Yeah. No, nothing. Like all these these tests, bro, these are Bible verses, bro. Like Like I I like I like the the like where I'm from, like, you know, I get it. But like like these are all these are Bible verses, bro. I I believe >> cuz where you come from it's all LVL out there. >> No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, for sure. Um like I I like the the way the style of it, but >> Sure. Sure. No, I don't care about that. I was just >> Yeah. >> I'm just trying to paint a picture that you're not some like >> Yeah. No, bro. Uh I I go to work, bro. I've been working since I was 16. Even before that, like, bro, I'm being for real. Like, I I I worked at uh when I was 13. I started working. I started working when I was 16. Um I I didn't finish school. It was just a path that wasn't for me. I was really behind and I just chose not to end up finishing school. But um I I ended up getting a a job over here, a warehouse job, something different from you know what the fast foods where you where you first start off. And so I like it. You know, I was doing you know I really like um the job I have now. >> Which Sorry. >> I was going to say so obviously you're religious. >> Yeah. So, what do you what do you think should happen to you for what you know the trauma that you've caused to this lady? >> Um, whatever. I mean, I guess you should finish. If if it wasn't you, if this happened to your your sister, you have a sister, and this happened to your sister, what do you think should what would you want to see happen to somebody that did that to your sister? [Music] At least at least maybe I don't know like some sort of consequence whether it's you know I mean maybe not I mean I don't know I don't want to you know it's me but like some something I don't know >> you think something there should be something >> maybe yeah >> see we had to be careful with this something we've never really seen before you know we've seen baristas get robbed that's pretty common, not common, but I mean it happens. But this was a different level. This was something that we had not seen that really it spooked a lot of people because we did not know and we couldn't come up with an endgame. Like what if you got her or let's just say that person gets her through the window and into the car. Now what? It's not like she's just going to give up. So how do you you kind of see what I get? >> No, I get it. Like I'm saying, I I I don't even remember like fully doing it. Like it it was just a flash. The moment I I realized what I did, I let go. Like you seen in the camera like >> I I I don't I was I was fucked up. I don't remember. Like I just remember what happened. I I seen I let go and I drove off. That was it. >> Yeah. I guess my point is I'm not I'm not trying to rehash it with you. I'm trying to I'm trying to give you our our perspective. you know, they're very those those girls or women are very vulnerable at 2:30 in the morning. Obviously, the way they're dressed, how they're working, where they're at, they're exposed to, you know, all types of people that come through there. And so, when we see that, we have to think the worst. We have to think, you know, >> were you going to kidnap her? Were you going to kill her? Were you going to sexually assault her? Has this has this happened somewhere else? Do we have a pattern? So, we had to take it pretty serious. >> Yeah. No, it makes sense. Does it make sense? >> So that's that's kind of why we came so hard at you. >> No, it it makes sense. I get it. I understand. I understand what I you know, I understand. Like I'm like, like I said, I'm like very sorry. I was fucked up and I like I don't I don't remember. It was just flashes and I'm I I regret it and I'm sorry and it I was just it was just a moment and I I regret it, you know. >> Sure. >> Okay. Well, here's I mean uh you've never been arrested before, have you? >> No, I haven't, sir. >> Okay. So, what's going to happen tonight is you have to go to jail. Okay. You'll see a judge in the morning. My guess is they'll probably PR you. >> What is PR? >> You'll you'll my my guess is that they won't hold you. Um they might for a short period of time. We'll have to see how that goes. And then um >> if and when you do get out, you're going to have to continue to stay in compliance with the courts until they resolve this. >> Otherwise, those dudes are going to come after you. >> No, that makes sense. You know, just >> I totally understand. I >> And the thing is, you've been a man about it. You've sat in here. You've I mean, this is not probably not easy for you to talk about. >> Yeah. Yeah. I get it. >> Keep up with that. >> Show that there was a little bit of remorse. And then it watch this to the end. Okay. and then we don't we don't have to become involved anymore. >> But I would caution you, you got to I mean right now the way they look at this is an attempted kidnap because it's really not anything else. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So, um I don't know how it's going to play out. It's not up to us once you leave this room. I mean, we just submit what we've done for the investigation and the prosecutors will work with one of your you'll get assigned an attorney, probably a DAC, a department assigned. They're they're good. They're fine. They're going to work for you. and then hopefully you come to some sort of outcome where we can just put this behind us. >> Okay. So, uh can I ask yeah >> ask you a question. Um as far as like calling and like how can I can I get a phone call or something like >> that would be something? >> Yeah, you can uh are there numbers that you want? >> I tell you what. >> Like my mom I just want to call my mom. >> Do you know her number? >> I know her number. >> Okay. What I'm going to do is I think they took your phone. I don't need your phone. >> I have it. It's right here. >> Okay. So, I'll put your phone in your property. So when you get out, you'll have your phone. Uh you will get your phone calls down there. You can have as many as you want. You get free call. And I shouldn't say that.
