Stop. You cannot go for my gun. Careful, mother. Central. Shots fired. Shots fired. We got three officers down. Three officers down. This rookie cop just watched as his training officer was gunned down. But he would do something completely unexpected. Drop a gun. Drop the gun. On July 14th, 2023, officers were responding to a traffic collision when suddenly gunfire erupted from a car beside them. Central, we got shots fired. Central, we got shots fired. The rookie cop spotted the shooter, but not before he gunned down three other officers and one civilian. The cop was in complete fear, seeing his training officer dead on the floor. Shots fired. Shots fired. We got three officers down. Three officers down. Send everybody. But there was no one else to take down the killer, so he would do it all alone. Stop moving. Stop moving. Put your hands up. Hands up. Hands up. Hands up. Hands up. Hands up. Margo. 534. Three officers down. Drop a gun. The shooter was hit, but he had a bulletproof vest on and kept waving his gun, making the officer's attempts to neutralize him much harder. Drop the gun. Drop the gun. Drop the gun. Eventually, the suspect, later identified as Muhammad Barakott, was neutralized, and arriving medics were able to resuscitate two officers and the wounded civilian. However, the officer's training officer was fatally wounded and pronounced deceased. Inside the shooter's car were multiple rifles, handguns, and explosives, and it was discovered that he originally planned to shoot up a street fair of thousands of people, making the training officer's actions much more commendable. He passed through a psychological evaluation after the incident and returned to work. But returning to work would be a miracle for these two officers as they were shot straight in the head. Send shots fired. I'm hit. On February 10th, 2022, officers received a disturbing 911 call about an active shooter. Green Valley Drive. My neighbor two houses the stop sign is out there shooting his 12 gauge just at the neighbors behind us. So officers arrived at the scene to meet other neighbors before approaching the suspect who was at his front door. But they had no idea the horrors that awaited them. Hey sir. Hey. No, it's a sheriff's office. Why don't you come out with your hands empty and talk to us? Yes, my sheriff's office. Why don't you come out and talk to me with your hands empty? If you're a sheriff, I'll blow your head up. Get the tell these people to put down. Take a ride on the wild side. Hit it. Drop the gun. Drop the gun. The suspect refused to exit his home or drop his shotgun as he threatened the officers with violence. But they weren't too troubled because of the distance from him. And that was why they never saw the attack coming. Drop the gun. Shots fired. Shot fired. Send me. Shots fired. I'm hit. Within seconds, the suspect shot both officers in the head and they started bleeding profusely with armed neighbors returning fire and offering first aid. But even with the pain they were experiencing, they knew the shooter was still at large and didn't give up. Keep driving. Keep driving. You medic, they're coming. Shots fired. At the front door, Hey, get back. Oh, Jesus. I'm all right. Really? Not all right, but we got hit in the bank. Out of here. Yeah. You okay? Yeah. I need a but we need replacements. Are you hit? Yes. In the head. We're both hit. In the head. Follow officers. The head. I'm losing vision in my left eye. Okay. Watch the camera. Just please sit down. I got you cover, man. Yeah. I'm just trying to lead here. Jay, stay armed up. That light blew out. You need to back over here. And eventually they drove themselves away from the scene to get medical treatment. All the while helping other officers with vital details of the crime scene. And their bravery would pay off as the suspect was later detained. You guys are here for me. This is real. Let's go. What's this? Is really 60-year-old Joel Young was charged with attempted murder, assault while armed with a firearm, and reckless endangerment, and was eventually sentenced to 40 years in prison. After a year of surgery and treatment, both officers still had multiple pellets lodged in their forehead and face. And one of them suffered a broken nose and went blind in his left eye. But even that didn't stop them from returning to work that year, after which they were awarded the Medal of Honor by Washington State for their bravery, even in the face of death. But nothing on earth, not even the worst criminal, could force this very noble cop to kill a man. No. Do not do that. Do not do that. Stop. You cannot go after my gun. Get down. On September 6th, 2015, an officer transported a detained suspect to a hospital after he crashed a stolen pickup truck while driving erratically. Sado, [Music] they're locked. So, even if you try and run, the hospital's locked. You can't get out. Okay? So, don't don't try and run or anything. Okay? The officer warned the suspect against running as he unccuffed him for treatment, unaware that he would do much worse. As a few minutes later, he suddenly lunged at the officer and tried to grab his gun. No, no, no, no. Do not do that. Do not do that. Hey, call for somebody. Call for somebody. Just then, the officer fired once at the suspect to neutralize him. Stop. Stop. You cannot go after my gun. Get down. Get down. Get down. Get down. And then he fired twice as the suspect ran up to him again. Get down. When the suspect approached again, instead of shooting him, he tased him to the ground. [Music] Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. [Music] 45. I need help. I need help at the hospital. I need help now. He was extremely frightened but managed to control himself and just wanted to neutralize the suspect. And once that was done, he immediately requested medical aid for the suspect, showing once again that killing him wasn't his initial plan. You're trying to get my gun away from me. I should have I shot him. So So we need some doctors here. I've shot him. So we need some doctors. 2580. I shot I think I shot him a couple of times. So 2580. He was trying to get my gun. Really? I'm not. No, but I I had to shoot him a couple of times. Keep on coming after my gun. He got away from me. Started coming back at me. The suspect was eventually treated for his gunshot wounds and charged with assault with intent to commit a violent felony, legal theft, and various misdemeanors. The officer was uninjured during the incident and showed extreme restraint in not killing the man. But the next officer's failure to give up against this powerful suspect would be his downfall as he ended up shooting himself with his own gun. Hey, get my gun. He's got my gun. I'm shot. On March 8th, 2024, a Florida Motel employee called the police, claiming that a man named Willis Adams had attempted to fight him and threatened to take his life. So, the officer arrived at the business to trespass the suspect, unaware of the disastrous end that awaited them. Come up here. I'm on the phone with Who are you on the phone with? On the phone with [Music] [Applause] grace. Come on. Keep going, bro. 911, buddy. Hey, man. Get out. What I tell you, man? Hit me with that taser. What I tell you, man. Get on the ground. Get on the ground, bro. For no reason. Get on the ground. When I tell you, ma'am, he's about to hit me with tas for no reason, bro. Hey, man. Bro, I'm about to bust your ass. And just then, the officer deployed his taser, which would be the start of his problems. Shoot me. Service dispatch, come in. Get in traffic. Get back. You pay me for nothing. Get off me. Hey, man. I will hurt you. I will hurt you. Get the [ __ ] out of here, bro. Quick, quick. In minutes, the suspect disarmed the officer's taser and whip. And while both of them struggled, the officer grabbed his gun, which was aimed at himself and pulled the trigger. He's not me. Get on, dude. He's going to try to shoot me. They're trying to shoot me. Quit. Question. Get off, bro. Quit. Hey, get this. Quit. I'm on the phone with dispatch for nothing. Dispatch, he's got my gun. He's got my gun. I'm shot. I'm shot. Adams tossed the gun in a storm drain and walked off, but was soon taken into custody. He was suspected to have used drugs and was charged and plead not guilty to attempted murder. The injured officer shot his left hand and was hospitalized and expected to make a complete recovery. Some believe he should have waited for backup or taken more classes on combat. But the next officer did everything right and even shortness of breath, a gunshot wound to the shoulder. And being outnumbered couldn't make him give up when he was trapped in a deadly shootout from hell. Go. Shots fired. I'm down. That was a Mexico state police officer minutes after a gas station staff reported that a woman previously using drugs in the bathroom had entered a car with a male driver. So, he approached the vehicle unaware that minutes later he would end up in a very deadly situation. [Music] 51 Tommy's attempting to flee. Ran my car if any that way. 501. He is He is out by Pizza Barn. He is headed eastbound on their frontage road. The male driver managed to escape, leading to a high-speed chase, but backup officers were nowhere near the chase. So, when the officer saw a chance to perform a pit maneuver, he took it, and the result was unexpected chaos. maneuver at City Hill. Vehicle is down. And just then, the driver fired several shots with one of them hitting the officer in the neck. Go. Shots fired. I'm down. Scom I'm hit bleeding. Subjects are fleeing west. Female and a male. 551. He even picked up another firearm to arm himself in case the suspects who'd run away decided to come back. And when backup officers and bystanders came to help, he calmly instructed them on what to do. He's been shot right in the neck right here by Give me some pressure on it. Okay. All [Applause] right. The officer was hospitalized and in 24 hours, the male and female suspects were detained with a male felon getting a sentence of 9 years in prison plus 3 years of supervised release. The officer was eventually released from the hospital and unfortunately retired as a result of the injuries he sustained during the shooting. 11 days later on February 22nd, UNM Specialties Clinic removed the bullet from my back. Um, and I've been trying to recover ever since. His experience was saddening, but the next officers would not even let the suspect shoot as they fought tooth and nail to grab his gun. I'm going I'm going to get shot. On July 21st, 2022, officers spotted a man on a bicycle and another man on foot moving slowly on the road, impeding traffic. So, the officers immediately approached both men. Stop. Come here. Hey, I'm giving you an order to stop. If you don't stop, you're going to go to jail. What? Y'all with me for what, bro? Turn around. Then do turn around. Call your mom. When I tell you to stop, you stop. Man, you know you can't be in the street like that. You be riding that bike. Turn around. All that craziness. You're not free to go. Okay. All right. Huh? You're right. You want me to get in the yard? I say stop. Why you don't want to stop? Because I just was in my yard. Everything seemed under control with both men now detained, pending a marijuana investigation. But things quickly shifted once this male started to resist. Relax. You all right? Stop. Stop. Don't move. You let me go. No, you're not free to go. What do you have in your back gun? Eric, put the gun down. You're going to get shot. Get your hand away, dude. Get him under control. I'm going to you, dude. I'm going to you. You're going to get shot. I will kill. Let go that gun. Get your shot. Get him under control. Damn. In such a tense moment, pulling a gun out was an easy way to get shot by the officers, but they restrained themselves and tried to get the gun from the suspect first. Shut up. Struggling. Stop struggling. Where's he at? I can't breathe. I'm break. I can't breathe. Stop resisting. [Music] Stop. Hold it. I can't breathe. [Music] Stop. The officers were under immense pressure from both the suspect and his associates, but they maintained composure and eventually detained him without further incident. He had multiple drugs and drug paraphernalia in his bag and was charged with drug and gun- rellated offenses. But the next officers weren't so nice to this suspect after he tried to drown a cop who was trying to help him. You want my guy back? Hands behind your back. You want the ass your life. On July 4th, 2023, Florida Fish and Wildlife officers were alerted to an intoxicated man who beat up his girlfriend and pepper- sprayed nearby bystanders before driving his boat into the water. But when officers approached him, he jumped from his boat and into the water fully clothed. Hey, buddy. Hey, just come to the boat, man. We'll get it figured out. Just come here. Quit being stupid, man. Come on, rat. Why don't you grab a piece of his clothes? Rip him up. Hey, here. Why don't you grab a piece of his clothes? Do not let go. Hey, now get that. Make sure he can't run that boat if he gets back on it. Hey, come on, man. Come on. Come here. Come to the fish cops. We're the nice ones, man. We're the nice ones. Come here. We don't want you running into our boat, man. The officers tried several tactics to get the man in the boat, but he refused and kept swimming off. However, they didn't give up and decided to grab the man, ultimately leading to something unexpected. Same logo. We got one in the water. Where is he? Where is he? Where is he? Where is he? Where is he? As the officer reached for the man. He held on to the officer and dragged him into the water before trying to drown him. And this sent the officers into a frenzy. Come here, mother. And the man was charged with attempted murder, DWI, battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest with violence. But the next suspect somehow managed to overpower multiple officers at once, and nothing seemed good enough to take him down. Get on the ground. again. On February 10th, 2022, an officer was in a squad car just outside a school when a crossing guard suddenly banged on his patrol car for no apparent reason. On the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Hey Tom, what's going on? Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Put yourself down. Get on the ground. Get on the ground now. Get on the ground now. Get on the ground now. Listen. Get on the ground right now. You don't know about me. I don't know about you, but get on the ground right now. It appeared the unknown man was going through some mental issues, but after refusing to comply, the officer would try to neutralize him using multiple tools. But this would backfire in the worst ways imaginable. Bravo 24. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Dude, you're going to get t or you're going to get sprayed. Get on the ground now. Get on ground. You hear me? Get on ground. Get on ground. Get on ground now. Get on ground now. Get on ground now. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. On the ground if I shoot you on the ground. Get on the ground. The taser and the cops whip had no effect on the suspect and the pepper spray only took another officer out of the fight. But they wouldn't give up. And when backup finally arrived, the entire scene was set for a grand showdown. Get on the ground now. Get that taser. Get that taser in. Here you go, guys. Work together. Work together. Get the arm. Hey, calm down, guys. We're together. Got one arm. There you go, guys. Good job. It took four officers to restrain the very aggressive man who surprisingly managed to escape the encounter without serious damage. Even though he beat up the officer so badly that he was hospitalized for head injuries. He was charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence. It took the officers over three minutes to detain him. But the next officer spent three days trying to arrest a very stubborn suspect who would eventually meet a fatal end. On November 16th, 2024, officers conducted a traffic stop on an unlicensed car and discovered that the driver, Christopher Garry, had warrants for his arrest, but detaining him would lead to a major scuffle. Stop. I just stiffened up because I'm nervous. I didn't Stop. Put your hands behind your back. I'm not trying to resist. Hey, put your head behind your back. You're going to get hurt. Hey, stop it. Stop. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. God, get on the ground. Christopher sped off and managed to escape from the officers, but they wouldn't give up as only one day later they were alerted to a suspicious vehicle parked on private property and upon arrival discovered that it was Christopher's vehicle with him still inside. We stay out of his way. If he tries to run, let him run. And once again, Christopher managed to escape from the officers, but this would be his last escape. As the following day, an officer on patrol saw Christopher's vehicle on the roadway and immediately jumped in. All right. Hey, got Christopher crashed the vehicle and then managed to get back on the road, driving onto incoming cars while struggling with the officer. The officer, fearing a deadly crash, then drew his weapon. And when Christopher tried to grab it, he was shot several times. He was eventually pronounced deceased on scene, and the officers were cleared of all wrongdoing in the case. He was trapped in a car, potentially headed for a deadly crash. But the next officer had to stay in his car because there was a man with a gun ready to kill him if he stepped out. Zebra 215, shots fired. On July 19th, 2023, an officer was in pursuit of a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign when the driver suddenly lost control and came to a stop. Put your hands up. Put your hands up now. But while reversing, the suspect reached under his car dashboard and began shooting at the officer with a full automatic weapon, forcing the officer to fire back. Zebra 215 shot fire. Where you at, Thompson? At this point, the suspect was now driving behind the officer with a machine gun, sending the officer into a race for his life. But he still didn't give up without a fight. [Music] 0 215 I'm hit 215 shot in the back. The officer was shot in the back but still held his ground while communicating with officers.
