I just saw somebody on my Ring camera packages coming down. Wait, don't. This officer is about to lose his life for catching a porch pirate in the act. On December 4th, 2020, Lynwood police were called to arrest two porch pirates caught in the act. But the arrest would take a very unexpected turn when only two officers showed up. Don't move. Don't move. Don't move. Don't move. Yeah, I'm not going. Everything's turned forward. We have one in custody. Stand by. Don't move. I'm not moving. Nope. Don't unlock the door. You said don't move. Unlock the door. Unlock the door. Unlock the door. You're fine. You're fine. No, I'm not. He has a gun. You're fine. Unlock the door. Unlock the door. Don't Don't lock the door on us. I'm not used to getting hurt and shoot me. He's not going to shoot you. You want to go home? Unlock the door so we can get your Get your I'm scared. Officer, unlock the door. Although the 26-year-old was caught stealing, having two guns pointed would scare anyone and probably make them freeze up. So, the officer would have to go around and unlock the door himself, and that led to something very shocking. Hey, he just hit she just hit 118. 108 108 eastbound drawer. Eastbound door. Central send me the ambulance right now. I got him. I got him. I got him. Hold on. Hold on. I don't even know who step it up. She just ran over 18. Y'all the one packages got to just help me with my car. 108. Stay with them. Call ambulance. Call ambulance. We got him. We got to hit up her. Don't move, dude. Don't just random. He should have shot her. He should have shot her. And he gonna say he don't know who she is. She just wants know the neighbors that stay with him. Go to if you can. She just ran over. We getting too quick. All right. Right here just literally hit this man. You need some water? Anything, man? The suspect struck an officer while driving off. And while some might say she did so out of fear, her mug shot once captured suggested otherwise. The male suspect was charged with misdemeanor theft with a maximum of one year in jail, while the female suspect was charged with misdemeanor theft and class X felony attempted murder in the first degree with 6 to 30 years in jail and up to $25,000 in fines. That could explain to her just how dumb her actions were. But the next porch pirate didn't need the justice system for that class, as this social worker would teach him a very hard lesson. On January 9th, 2024, the New York homeowner called police regarding an ongoing porch theft. I just saw somebody on my Ring camera steal two packages. The homeowner viewing this on his Ring camera phone app while away immediately called the police who arrived to see the package thief casually walking away. Excuse me. Hi. Stop right there. Stop. Coming down. The man took off running and managed to escape for 10 minutes. But that was until this social worker saw the commotion and blocked his path, pushing him to the ground and pinning him down till the officers cuffed him up. He was later identified as Francisco Joseé Mateo and faced many charges, including felony grand lararseny, while the social worker was applauded for helping the officers. However, the next officers had no one to help them against these porch pirates who they didn't know were armed with guns. You got any weapons on anything on you? No, no, no. Okay. No, you good. On October 24th, 2022, Atlanta police pulled over a vehicle after a caller reported its involvement in a home burglary. Hey, good morning y'all. Everybody all right? Yeah. Got your driver license. What you work for the uh who you work for? Sprint, huh? For Sprint. For Sprint. T-Mobile. T-Mobile. Where you from? Cleveland. Huh? Cleveland. Cleveland. Where you from? South Georgia. Oh, I thought you were going to say you from Ohio or something. No, there were two black males covered in black clothing, and they had easy reach around the car, which contained guns. The officers didn't know this at the time, but they also didn't want to find out, so they had to keep things very calm and avoid an escalation while appearing unsuspicious to them. Hey, do me a favor. Holl at me back here, man. What is that? Hey, I'm going to show I'm training somebody, so I'm going to show them how to do it. I got to show them how to uh talk to people and stuff, you know? As long as everybody good, man. Everybody good? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Step on back here, man. Let me talk to you, man. This your car? This a rental? This a rental? You got any weapons under anything on you? No, no, no. Okay. No, you good. Take these out. Put them on the hood. Oh, sorry. You got all that jewelry on, man. What you doing? Play this. I'm going to show them how to detain people. All right. I detain them. Yeah. I'm just detain. Put your hands right here real quick. Where you from? What are you doing? I live here. I've been here 10 years. Where you live at? No, you detain me. You hop on out, big man. You got any? No. No. What do you mean? What is that smell, man? yourself, bro. Okay, man. You did it right my face, but all right. I'm sorry. Give me the other hand. Look, give me the other hand. Okay. The officers somehow found a way to cuff the suspects and leave them smiling. But that wasn't for long, though, as a search of the vehicle revealed guns and packages with different addresses, and they were both charged with theft by receiving stolen mail, possession of crystal meth, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime and burglary. If you're enjoying this video, please like and subscribe. The officers smooth talked themselves into making an easy arrest. However, the next officers realized very quickly that they could only arrest this man with the use of brute force. Put it down. Why am I wait? On April 16th, 2023, Lynwood police officers received a report of an ongoing car parts theft, but something crazy happened upon arrival. right there. Yeah, it's going to be towed. What? It's going to be towed. Okay. Are you a property manager here? No, no, no. Okay. Is this your car? Yeah, it's going to be towed. Okay. Is this your car? That's uh somebody who I know it's going to be to Okay. Can you Can you Can you come out? Can you come out and talk to me? Let you know you're being you're being audio and video recorded. Okay. Okay. Yeah. I want to go up cuz somebody who knows the owner of the truck says it's going to be to Oh, okay. You have you have ID? No, not on me. Okay. So, who who owns the truck? On the phone with I just uh casually I was trying to give something that I'm missing my truck. Who Whose truck is it? I don't know name. Okay. I thought you said you knew who the owner of the truck. Somebody told me that's going to be to just take whatever. Yeah. So, what are you taking off of it? I was trying to give the Somebody stole my my catalyzer. So, you're taking I was trying to just the tube. So, you're taking the catalytic converter? Oh, they had no calic pipe. The suspect basically admitted to stealing but somehow laughed it off thinking he wasn't in trouble. But he quickly realized just how much trouble he was in. I thought that didn't work. Hold on. Hey. Yeah. No, don't. Hey, leave that. Put it down. Why am I putting in your house? Wait. Put your hands behind. Step under arrest. Resisting. Put your hands behind your back right now. I'm just picking up my stuff. You understand what I'm saying? You're under arrest. You're under arrest. Don't even Don't even do it. I got you. I got it. I got it. I got it. Okay, we're going to stay right here. If you try to move, you're going to the ground. Do you understand? Okay, just grab a I didn't I didn't that I have my Don't reach for anything. I have my ID right here. Oh, you said you didn't have ID. Now fully restrained, it would be expected that he understood that he was in the wrong. But this man felt absolutely no shame. And since resisting wasn't working for him, he would do the only thing he could, which was rant about anything he could think of. Very soon, America will be burned. According to the Bible, they're going to be burned. Lean back a little bit. It's a horish nation. You know, the USA. No, you you don't have to be here. You No, I'm I'm here because I'm trying to tell God told me to tell you to tell tell these stupid people that the Russians and the Chinese, you don't even know how this world works. Mhm. You know, the Jewish, the Russian Orthodox, Jewish sons of Russia, send his little brothers to China to marry Chinese. They've been preparing for a while. They want to take on the West. The West is not run by America. It's run by the Jews. Okay, let's just come back. Is this you? Yeah. So, what why are your resume? I was I was trying to get something that I need for my car. The best thing he could do before the country burned to the ground was steal motor parts. And he clearly didn't understand what a criminal was, especially considering that he'd committed the same crime not once but twice within 2 days. He picked up his tools, tried to walk away. I'm like, "Nope." And uh I think this is the same guy. Yeah. He tried to do this yesterday. See if I can get that. Oh, but he wasn't caught yesterday. No, he was gone by the time I got here. He didn't have a plate or anything. His tire wasn't flat yesterday, so I think it was drivable and had everything on it. Obviously, he stole everything from more today. So, what was what was the report yesterday? What did he What did he steal? Um trying to He stole this part like this side panel. Yeah. Okay. So, he knows he knows the owner of this truck. Yes. He said that's his friend. He said he was here yesterday taking off the front quarter panel there and then today he found him underneath the car with like tools or something. Was watching from the car and then obviously he said he recognized the same guy from yesterday. The man had been stripping the truck for a while. And for this, he was charged with auto parts theft, which would be a felony depending on the value of the missing parts. He couldn't do much aside from ranting because he was outnumbered. But this aggressive porch pirate couldn't care less about being outnumbered. I'm telling you right now, if you refuse to as he would become violent very fast, I'm not going to take this off. We got to take this off. It all began on July 8th, 2023 when Princeton officers were dispatched to detain a man for stealing Amazon packages, unaware that things would take an unexpected turn. Yes. Speak English. Uh, what language? Korean. Korean. Oh, you say that pretty good. You're here to arrest me. Do I need to arrest you? Are you here to arrest me? That's a question. Maybe. Okay. Arrest me. For what? What's the charge? For what? You said you might be here to arrest me. You asked me and I said maybe. So you said maybe. Say yes or no. It's not a yes or no right now. So what? Get out of here. No, you're not getting out of here. So what's your question? You're being detained right now. Why? Why? For stuff. That what? Right here. Okay. Give me the proof. Okay. I have proof. Okay. Show it to me. All right. Why? Tell me video. What? It's on video. Show me the video. I have it. Show it to me. All right. I need to see some ID. I'm not going to show your ID. You need to steal me ID. I'm not. You put handcuffs on me and arrest me, sir, for death. But you're wearing the same exact clothes that you're wearing the other day. So what? So I got you on film on July 3rd. I got you on film on July 3rd. This is me. This is me, sir. Wait, am I now a clone of Lee? I don't know who that is. That's me. Hoing Lee? Yeah. You You put handcuffs on me. Remove me. Well, we will soon. No, do it now. You don't tell me what to do. Bro, I'm not Look, sir. Sir, do you have any idea? I'm not going to show it to you. You arrest me and take me to that station. Put me behind bars. Okay. Are you going to do it? Okay. Sir, you're going to get on top of the theft charge, which right now I have the one charge cuz I only have the one victim. I have all the victims. All right. We can write you a simple complaint like a parking ticket and you have a court date. If you refuse to give me your information, that's hindering. Okay. Wait a second. that would be an additional charge. Considering his case was pretty simple and he could walk away with a ticket even after multiple thefts, this man's actions were less than ideal. He seemed very aggressive, but there appeared to be a reason for this. I mean, I I own that. Not only do I own it, this square was given to me by a certain person named Paul Height. That's a name for God. And a certain another person they gave. Now you doubt that. Go ahead and arrest me. Well, I'm telling you right now, if you refuse to, sir, now you're getting this. Arrest me right now because you're defying my property. This is not It's not Look, either way, we're either going to charge you with theft. No. Or we're going to arrest you for obstruction. No. No. You do whatever you want. But either you defy God and you don't believe in him or you arrest him. You have a choice. His strange words suggested that he was either substance impaired or mentally unstable, but he could as well be normal in faking it. And since the only thing certain for the officers was that he stole and was now very disorderly, they would act off that and place him under arrest. Wait, you're under arrest. No, wait. Stand up. No, I won't buy. Stand up. Stand up. Put your hands real quick. And you don't I'm a bad man. Goodbye, sir. Stop. Hey, you can say anything you want. I'm taking out of my property. I have to pee. You're making a mistake on top of mistakes and unforeseen proportions. This is a mistake of unfreeing intelligence. This one right here. This is unbelievable intelligence. Okay. Now, if you steal my jewelry, we should take I'm not going to take this off. We got to take this off. Yo, wait. Stop it. You're not taking the sacred jewelry. This is the idea. Hey, wait. You defying my ID. Stop. Stop what? Stop. Stop what? You don't spit at an officer. You're out of God's business. You're under arrest right now. Go ahead. You're under arrest. Obvious. You're under arrest. Look at me. So, stop it. You all right? Yeah. Good. Yeah. You get it in his face or Yeah, it got in his face. Yeah. All over my face. Got in his face. Put that on camera. You'll get another charge for it. Don't worry. Now you're not getting out. Hey, that's for sure. Yeah. You're going to put me in solitary confinement. You're going to go into hell. All right. That's great. You're going to die tonight, sir. Just give me my jewelry. Take that with you, sir. That's great. Take that with you. I will take it with you. Put that in your hands now. Stop. Stop. Put that with me. If you take that, you're dead on the street. You understand this? Nope. You're stupid now. Goodbye. You're all you're dead and you don't even know it. There are children around. Hey, I don't deal with kids. They all think you're dead. Okay. You made a shame out of the police and your heart is beating real fast, man. You have 12 hours to make a decision on your children's God and your Are you threatening me? Yeah. God's threatening you. The son of God is a mad man. Am I a mad man? I speak with God, too. So, you do not. I speak with God. You can't say that. The police force are going to walk out of here. Unless you release me, I get a house tonight. You're not getting released. Hey, you want to die? Someday I will. Yeah, you're going to die tonight. Okay, maybe I will. Yeah, I will. Maybe I won't. Who knows? Well, it's up to you, sir. Not up to me. It's not up to you either. Hey, stop. You spit it. Now you spit on another person. You're a piece of Okay, let me talk. Yeah, take that with you. If you leave that, you're going to die on the track. After spitting, threatening, and resisting the officers, the man was charged with aggravated assault and theft. Police weren't so surprised to find that he had an open arrest warrant from another town. However, it's quite surprising to see that the next porch pirate wasn't caught by cops or a social worker, but by a very annoyed Amazon delivery guy scared of losing his job. Who killed that man? Cuz that's my job, bro. I know, bro. Who killed that man, bro? It all started on May 1st, 2023 when an Amazon delivery driver noticed two people stealing a just delivered package and immediately went after one of them. I ain't got Why me? You took that man, bro. Yes, you did, bro. Whoever took that man, give it to him, bro. Where the [ __ ] Where the [ __ ] was at with you? Don't tell that man that. Don't tell that man that. Don't tell that man that cuz that's my job, bro. I know, bro. Don't tell that man that, bro. It was the girl. Go tell that man there, bro. Oh, God in heaven. I don't have nothing, bro. You owe that man. Oh, God. I don't give a [ __ ] Get your over here, bro. Don't make me pull your bro. Come on. I don't give a bro. I see you and the other dude. Get over here, bro. He going to call the police, bro. God. I don't give a Where she at? She lives over there. That's 132. That's the apartment number. It was the driver's job to ensure the packages in his possession safely arrived at the buyer's home, but the alleged thief claimed the package was with his runaway accomplice. So, the delivery guy had a missing package and his job was on the line. He calling the police, bro. She's literally going to beat my ass. Who are you? My grandma. I'm sorry, bro. I'm sorry, bro. Who you staying with? My grandma. [ __ ] that's my dog. I'm sorry. Hey, come Hey, come at Uhuh. Stay right here. I can't say that. Huh? I can't say that. The driver's conviction led him to chase down the suspect and after going to the reported address of the other suspect, he was able to hand the stolen package to its owner. He proved to be the ultimate Amazon employee by securing their packages. However, the next Amazon employee was the complete opposite as he was caught stealing packages on the job. He's tampered with that package to I mean to my to my site at least three different times. On January 29th, 2023, officers were called to an Amazon Prime warehouse on reports of employee theft. Um, case initiated yesterday with um uh Apple Air Watch uh that went missing. Okay. Uh we were investigating it. We found him responsible for it. So what he did was he reached inside a a pod, picked the item out, ripped the package open, conceals it in his pocket. I see. And then um we were waiting for him to come in today. He wasn't working last night. um uh or at least when we initiated the case, expanded the investigation. Radio, he works nights. Um and then we identified two additional thefts with him taking uh the beats. Okay. And then two pairs of Beats actually. I see. Um and I got the video and I can show you guys the uh Apple Watch. Is he here now? Yeah, he's actually writing a statement. Okay. During the course of the uh interview, he's admitted to uh taking three boxes of uh Apple AirPod Pros in addition to what we have. Uh he's providing a voluntary statement. Uh he does have one of the uh uh items on him now at his workstation, so I can actually get a manager to bring his backpack down and everything. Um so I I He definitely opened that package, but he didn't I didn't like notice him taking anything out of it. It takes him a second as it gets towards the end of the video. Um is when he conceals it. So he'll reach back in there. He takes a while working that package. Um and he's So he's back at it now. It looks like he's working it some more. He's tempered with that package. I mean to my to my site at least three different times. Jeff, did you see more than that? No, I'd say about three times so far. Okay. So, he might have gotten it out right there and now he puts it in the pocket. No, he'll he'll he put something underneath first. See? Oh. Oh, he did. He put it over there. Yeah. The empty package. Dump something underneath the bins. And then this is a long white box. They come in a box like this about 14 15 in give or take. So I think we're coming probably coming up on it now. Yeah. Right there. Right there. That's the concealment. Yep. That's what they were showing me today. So 123230. I did. Okay. Using this method, the worker stole multiple electronics and was only caught when the store started noticing some missing items. He eventually owned up to the theft once approached by his employees. But the interaction with the officers would not end as expected. Like times are tough. Like I I get it. Is something going on like at home? Like you are you hard out? It always is. Yeah. But that's nice. How long you worked here, Alex? Five months. Five months. Is it a pretty good place to work? Okay. What? Just out of curiosity, what did they are they are they letting you go or you don't know? Surprised? I mean, I'll be surprised if they're Okay. And what what do they have you doing here? Picking. Okay. Um, we don't got to you know, you know what I'm saying? I appreciate you though. You don't want to talk? I mean, [Music] I've already told them. Okay. What happened? You know what I'm saying? And I don't know that. Like, I don't know these people. So, that's what I'm saying. So, right now, am I am I going to jail? I don't know that. I absolutely don't know that because like I said, I don't know what's going on. Okay. Basically, I took some product and they said there's been an investigation going on and they wanted me to confess what I've taken. Okay. I told them the things that I taken. What was it? Okay. Like the wireless ones? How many uh how many items? Okay. Were they all the same item or different? down. [Music] Okay. Is like were you going to like resell them or Okay. Yeah, we all make mistakes, man. Yeah, but the type of mistakes is important, man. This is Jeff everything. That's what it starts. I should have thought about when I was doing it though. I'm just saying like I'm I'm kind of next step type of thinkers. I'm like what's going to happen next? And I start thinking about sure getting another job. I got a list on that job that I stole from a previous employer. I'm like what I'm just getting. I could I could understand why you feel that way. Considering Alex was about to lose his employment and possibly his freedom, the officers were expecting zero remorse and ill mannerisms from him as is usual with many theft suspects. But he remained remorseful and owned up to his actions. And this was a gateway to what happened next. Like when did was it yesterday or it was today? Oh, months ago. Yeah. Okay. I see. Well, anyways, um, so, so the earbuds were taken months ago. Okay. 29, I think. Don't you? Yeah. Based off timeline. Um, yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Okay. Um, I need to confirm. Alex, I'm going to be straight. No, no, hear me. Hear me. Hear me out. I'm going to I I'm going to be straight. If what you're telling me is true, then I'm probably not taking you into custody today. If what you're telling me is I just have to confirm with with them like when it happened. Um, just because that's how I do my job. What's the difference? What would be the charge? It depends on the value of the items. And I'm being completely honest with you. I'm not I'm not playing any games with you. I got you. I hear you. It completely depends on what it was and how much it cost. Um I'll tell you I'll tell you this much. Um I don't know. You have never met you. I don't know if you have a record or not of anything. I I do think it is a better situation for for you. I'll be honest and say this. Okay. But it's like pay the parents and stuff. Uh like a warrant. It's probably not extraditable. I would guess anyway. Um but that's it. Okay. I mean, I'm going to be completely honest. Best case scenario, what'll happen is I'll gather information from them. Um we'll probably see you out of here. um you you'll be released and you'll get some you'll get some paperwork in the mail to appear for it later on. Um that's best case scenario. If what you're telling me is true, I want to take you at your work cuz I think you're I think you're telling me the truth. Um then that that's what would happen. If if they tell me like no, he took something today like recently, that would change things. I would have to take you into custody. So no, I I I will not. Alex, I will not lie to you. I'll be completely truthful. Um, how y'all doing today, man? This this job's nuts, bro. I'll be honest with you. Anyway, it it is it's just it's it's kind of crazy, but what I do appreciate, Alex, is just like like people that are just they don't make our job hard. They're just they're straight. And I appreciate that. We had to we had to scrap with some big huge dude that like wouldn't he wouldn't leave like a property like you can't camp here, man. like the county owns this land and like I don't want to do that. I don't come to work wanting to hurt people, but yeah, it's just the way it goes sometimes. So, um Jeff, just just double check like the dates and I'll stay I'll stay with Alex and I dude you me fence post I the last thing I want to do is is take a trip out there. I can't stand that place. Alex, I can't stand that place. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I just And even if so, I just I would like to know the next step. Call my mom and and I've told I've told you everything I could tell you. But you're a good dude, man. I have I appreciate you. I don't I don't meet a lot of people that are are just straight up like I don't Everybody like everybody tries to I don't even blame them sometimes. Like they got to do what they got to do. 240. Um, I don't blame people sometimes, people that run from us. If I had a warrant and I knew I was going back and going to do time, I'd probably do the same thing, man. Like, yeah, just face that to get it over. I tell I tell you what, like no matter what happens, I you I'll give you my word. I will document that Alex was cooperative with Amazon. He was cooperative with law enforcement. He recognized, you know, I'll do anything I can to to present the absolute truth, which is what you've shown. You've shown to them and to me that that you're honest about everything. So, was this your jacket? Yes. B. They just wanted to make sure if it was yours or not. I I went there, but I didn't grow up like them. If that makes if that if that makes sense. Yeah. So, they told me it was midmon of this month and then two months ago. Okay. Yeah. So, we're you're you're gonna you you you can go home. Um Alex, what's your um what's your social? What's the best phone number for you? So, um moving forward, right? That's what you could take that course moving forward. I you you've done a lot to like move forward and and and you owned it. Um people that we that we can't find to answer for their case, we we write a warrant. Oh, trust me. That's that's the least that's the least of your concern concerns. If you and and I'm not telling you what to do, but if if you can speak to an attorney, a public defender, just be just be reachable and continue to be like um show up to court and all those kinds of things. It'll it'll it'll go really well for you. Um so, Alex, I'm going to I'm going to personally keep in touch with you. um cuz because I feel like um we we have some trust. I don't want somebody else contacting you. With the time lapse of the incident and his non-extraditable warrant, Alex was escorted out of the building and given a court summon for his theft charges. While his show of remorse earned him an officer to help escape life as a package thief.
