On October 4th, 2025, watch what happens when deputies stop a man after a domestic disturbance call and begin sorting through conflicting claims from both sides. What's going on today? What happened over there at uh Jen and me had a fight. She's diabetic and I was making her food and she was having a diabetic fit and she started She threw cheeseburger into the garbage can. I brought her some noodles into the bed where she was laying. She threw the noodles at me and then she came out and flipped out and said, "This is what you effing do for me." and picked up the pan and threw it at me. It went all the way across the whole entire living room. Hit the back door or the curtain. Was there anything in the pan or not? >> There was There was. There was a uh a burger in the pan. I was making her burger and I made her pasta. Okay. And I got my clothes and left. Okay. Do you have any injuries or anything? >> Uh you know, other than just some food on me. Okay. No, I don't think so. She She missed. She kind of just tossed it. Okay. Um but I I just don't I I left. >> Okay. >> my clothes and left immediately. I didn't touch her. I didn't curse. >> Yeah. I just left. Okay. Um do me a favor, step out of the car. All right. You know you don't have a good license either, right? You know that? Step out Step out of the car. >> No, I didn't know that. >> Okay. My license You don't have a good license. Any weapons on you, man? Any firearms or anything? No. No. I have trouble I have trouble walking. >> Okay, just turn around and put your hands up, all right? No firearms or anything, man? Okay. Yeah. All right, come back to back of your car. >> Sure. Like I said, I have trouble walking. I have peripheral nerve damage. So I can't move too fast. Let me give them a call and see if they want to come down and talk to you as well. All right. You get that? I I I you know, I've been with her for 3 years and she's done this She's never thrown greasy food at me like this. Did you have any like Did it get on your clothes? >> She Well, not really on me because I was standing next to her and she tossed it to the back of the house. I was at the fryer when she came over and grabbed it. She first took one of the burgers and just threw them in the garbage. >> Okay. And I went and put another one on and tried to I thought she'd calm down and after she ate. She's blaming it on a diabetic fit and I made her plenty of pasta and was trying to get her to eat and she was just irrational irrational Yeah. >> and inconsolable. And and I And you're saying she threw the stuff the food at you and she threw the pan across the house? >> Absolutely. >> Okay. I did not know that. >> give him a call, okay? I know better cuz she goes right in the phone and calls you guys Right. for any I mean, what One time she called and you guys took her away Sure. >> because she was beating me on the head when I was going in the refrigerator to get my milk. I didn't lay a hand on her. I just got out >> All right. as fast as I could. And you don't have Not that I'm aware of. No, I didn't get burned. I just She had some pasta on my hair before I got it out of my head. That's it. I I I just I try so hard with this girl and and and when she gets like this Why don't y'all just like separate? >> You're No, you're 100% right. Everybody knows this. Thinks I'm crazy. I keep going back. I keep going back and she For no reason >> I mean, this is like way too much drama. Like Wait. Yeah. I I'm not sitting in jail for nobody. No man, no woman, no child. It's not worth it. It's not. to call 911 because she flipped out. She took that greasy pan and flung it across the whole back of the house. It hit her back curtain on the slider and I'm I'm out. I just went and grabbed my clothes. I heard her get on the phone with you guys and that's why I'm not trying to run from you guys. I'm just trying to get away from her. I mean, did you know she was calling before you left or Oh, yeah. Yeah, no, I knew she was calling. >> Why not just stay and talk to us then? Well, I didn't want to be anywhere near >> You know what I mean? Like I get it. Stay out front or something, you know what I mean? She I don't trust her. She's dangerous. And down the street. >> She's scary. See what I'm saying? Like you could have called too if you already knew she was going to call because now we have to find you and it looks different. Well, I apologize for that. >> mean, but I'm not trying to Well, I figured if somebody beat me at my house, she knows where I live. I figured if the cops were going to be there, they'd come to my house. I had no problem talking to you there. I just wanted to get as far away from her as possible. >> Fair enough. Fair enough. >> That's And then I know I understand what you're saying. Yeah. Just doesn't look good. I understand. How long y'all been together? 3 years. >> 3 years? >> Yep. Y'all share kids together? >> No. No. Y'all live together? How long? >> No. No. No, but I stay with her, you know, a lot. Okay. >> but maybe she gets into these moods and it's She's completely inconsolable. >> But y'all been dating for 3 years. Kind of Kind of staying together or On and off for years. Do y'all have kids or not together? No. Okay. All right. No. Nope. I have my place. She has her place. But uh She gets like this. I was trying to eat, honey. It was your diabetes. Eat. You [ __ ] I mean, just I mean, absolutely off the chain. Yeah. And I'm staying here trying to cook her burger. I finished the pasta. That's what she needed. I told her, "She needs carbohydrates. Eat the pasta. You're going to feel better." Wasn't having it. Took that burger and flung it. When I saw Yeah. Yeah. I was out. I don't blame you. I mean I should have been out a long time ago though. You're right. Yeah. Yeah, that part. >> Yeah, the the the heart doesn't always have the best mind. I should have listened to my mind over my heart, I guess. Yeah, it's a constant fight. It's the heart and the mind are always battling. Yes, sir. But I I wish her no ill will. I don't want anything bad to happen to her, but it's your decision. Well, you guys I mean, she's called you guys take a look. I can't tell you how many times. She went away one time and then a month later I made a mistake, went back and she said that I hit her I grabbed her wrist and she had a bruise on her wrist. She was swinging at me and throwing at me and I just backed off and I guess she had a and I went away. And we still got back together. Stupid. Me. I won't bother with her. I won't call her. I won't go near her house because I mean for what reason? For what reason? I I didn't threaten her. I was cooking her food. I was trying to take care of her. Yeah. She was just going nuts. I brought her pasta in the bed and then apparently she didn't eat it and then she got mad at me for putting pasta in the bed. I said, "You're dying to eat. I brought you something so you could eat. Trying to help." Yeah. I mean, just top of her lungs screaming and she came When she flung that frying pan, I was done. Out. Out. Yeah. Are there any kids in the house at all? Like are they hers or just yours or anything like that? I didn't know if y'all had kids on your own. No. Okay. Neither one. No one else? No roommates? No nothing like that? >> Uh I have a roommate lives with me, but not in her house. >> Okay. All right. You were saying when we first talked to you that there would be food somewhere on you. Is there anything on you now? >> Well, no, she it was I wiped it off. I had I had pasta on my head. Yeah. >> It was on your head? >> Oh, yeah. Did she just kind of throw the pan like out of anger? Just kind of wing it? >> over and she She was first >> Did she know you were standing there? >> I was standing right next to her, yeah. She first threw a burger in the garbage can. Okay. Flipped the body I had a burger put in a plate. I don't want this and threw it in the garbage can. Yeah. Then she went back in the room and screaming from the room. I kept telling her, "Your food is ready. Honey, if this is a problem, eat your food. You'll feel better." She came out and goes, "This is how you take care of me?" and she flung the pan and I was gone. Greasy pan with a with a burger in it. Yeah. I was out. Out. And then I heard her call you guys. So she threw a pan with the burger in it. How did pasta get on your head? That was before when I brought the pasta in the room. She kept started on my head the pasta that I was giving her. Okay. She said, "You bring me like this. You don't bring it in the bowl." I said, "Honey, you're starving. I didn't think to bring a bowl here. Eat it. Just eat it." Flung it at me. I pasta on my head and my face. I went I just wiped it off. And then when she I I don't think I got any grease on me. She So you went in there to bring the pasta. Correct. >> And she took it and threw it at you. The pasta. >> Some of it. Some of it. the other stuff was in the bed. It was a big wad of pasta I brought her. Okay. Yeah. Did she throw the pan itself or was it just with the pasta incident? There was no pasta in the pan. There was only burgers in the pan. The pasta was already cooked. I cooked the pasta with the butter and garlic and put it in >> Okay. What What vessel was the pasta in? A bowl It was It was in a Yeah, it was in a boiling bowl. Okay. It was in a pot. >> Was the bowl thrown at you or did she just throw the >> No, she No. No. No. No. No. She took the pasta and just threw it at my face. Okay. And then she came out and then flung the frying pan with the burger in it and that's when I was out. Got you. Y'all fight like that often? She gets like this often. Yeah, she does and I leave. I I I stay away. You know, but but When was the last time y'all fought? Argued? However you want to word it. Other than today. >> Maybe a couple weeks ago. Okay. Maybe a week and a half or 2 weeks ago. I came home for a couple days because, you know, she was flipping out about something. I don't remember what. Uh Oh, we were supposed to go out to eat and I told her I said, "Listen, I got to I got to take care of some bills. I can't afford to go out." She flipped out cuz I couldn't figure out to eat. Really? I mean, I spend all my money on her and us anyway. You know, that's where my money goes. She knows that. And it's just completely irrational. There's just no rationale to her getting Her own father, I heard him call her up in the morning one time. He goes, "Jen, did you eat yet?" No. "All right, don't call me back after you eat." He hung up on her. Really? That was pretty telling. That was early on in our relationship. Mhm. But I still didn't heed the warning. I kept coming back. Stupid. I might have one if you let me get in the car. No, that's all right. I got a pen. Okay. How are you, sir? You don't have to fill out the top. Just start where you left off. >> I will. Um just don't write on top of each other cuz they're carbon copy. >> Got it. Got it. It's a sworn statement. Uh So may I read Don't Don't sign Oh, I'm sorry. Go ahead and uh raise your right hand for me. State your first and last name. Gerald Do you swear that all information in the statement is true to the best of your knowledge? I do. All right. You can sign there and then sign there. Oh, then this is page one of two and the second one's two of two. Okay. You good with him for a second? No, I will. Give me I'll be right back. Um here's your copies. At this point basically they're just at the house finishing up whatever investigation they're doing. I'm not really sure. Um I tried to call the deputy he didn't answer. So I'm assuming he's busy. As soon as they're done they'll tell me hey he's good to go or we need to come talk to him or whatever. So unfortunately we just got to hang out at this point. So Um that that's really all that is. Do you know what it looks going with my license? They said there's something wrong with my license. Um probably suspended. I I haven't looked at it. >> I last week my I my insurance lapsed but I called them and paid the money and had the insurance you know covered. >> Yeah, usually uh sometimes you guys have to go to the DMV and like show proof of that or whatever cuz they don't know that. They don't really work hand-in-hand with insurance companies. >> Okay. Um but that's that's honestly what it is in my words right now is your license being suspended. You Yeah, it was suspended last week. >> they mentioned [ __ ] to me but I didn't even I I I just want to go home be in my own bed tonight. >> No, I got you, man. Man, I I I I won't go near that girl. I'd become a ghost. Yeah, I'm really just hanging out with you until they figure out what they got over there. I understand. That's all it is, man. Um unfortunately these things take time. So Well, I'm sure she's giving me an earful. I know how angry she is and just how she can Well, that's why I took a statement from you because it's not fair for us to get one side. We like me to be fair and at least try to get everybody's side of the story, you know what I mean? I appreciate that. We do what we can. It is? Yeah, it's suspended he said. It's suspended? >> Yeah, probably cuz your insurance lapsed. So if I go down to DMV I could be able to go with Probably you can work that out, yeah. If I show them proof of insurance. So it's Outcome that's coming not St. John. Once he's done with his investigation he's going to come down here. Okay. Do what he's got to do but it but it's going to be a while. It seems like. I think that might be the serious one I can't tell. And y'all don't live together? I spend a lot of time there but you know honestly she gets crazy. She always wanted me to move in. I said Are you serious? Yeah. >> As often as you flip out and tell me to get out. Right. You know? And I don't think and then she goes why'd you leave? I You told me to get out. I'm taking you at your word. I'm not going to stick around. Yeah. >> you want to call cops and make I'm not sticking around for that. No, I get you. >> And then she gets more mad cuz she don't have control. Yeah. Because she's taken my clothes and burned my clothes before. Okay. Expensive shirts. I still have more stuff over there but I got to tell you ain't nothing worth my freedom. That [ __ ] can keep whatever it is. I ain't going there for nothing. You can always go back and call us and do like a civil standby or something like that if you want >> I don't even want to see her. I don't want a problem. Yeah. I I appreciate it but you know cut your loss. Fair enough. My freedom means more to me than anything. Yeah. And she knows that. And that's exactly what she's trying to take from me. Have y'all had anything like this happen before? Like with with police involved? >> Yes. Yes. She's called She's called you guys and the cops took her away. She was calling me cuz she was beating me up. They saw they saw the marks on my head. Uh-huh. And they took her. For domestic violence? >> Domestic. >> Okay. And then a month later we got back together and what happens? She called up on me and you guys took me away. Oh, wow. She claims that I ripped her wrist when she was coming at me throwing her hands. All I did was try to stop her. >> Oh, so this is a common occurrence. This She She loves this. This is what she does and I don't I don't love it. Well, why do you keep involving yourself if it keeps happening to you? Because I'm stupid and I think with my the wrong part of my mind. I wouldn't say that. I'm just saying if if any normal person would say you know these problems keep occurring it gets to a point, you know what I mean? It's It's beyond that point for a while. You're right and I'm I'm I'm going to tell you flat out I just have been stupid. You know when it's good it's great so maybe we can hold on to that. You know I'm 50 years old I should know better. I didn't do it for most of my life but when when I met her I I was single for a while. I said I'm going to try to do the right thing, you know be a good guy and seems like the nicer I am the more she just takes advantage of me. Yeah. >> I mean the more I do for her it's you know oh look you do this and then oh you didn't do this. You didn't do that. You know you don't love me and you don't do this and and the things that come out of her mouth. Yeah. Any alcohol drugs involved anything like that? >> No. No. Nope. Any mental illnesses or anything? >> Yeah, well yeah she's got bipolar and I'm sure something undiagnosed schizophrenia. I am bipolar. >> Okay. You >> You take medication for it? Uh I do. I do. Yeah. Is that a consistent take or just >> it only mostly at night. I take Seroquel at night to go to bed and uh they give me Xanax but I only get like one a day. That's it. Yeah. I'm not going to lie to you. I had trouble with drugs and alcohol in the past but uh I'm putting that behind me. It's been a We all make mistakes. Well, I'm not here to I'm just saying you know call you out on anything. >> But today there was no drinking or no drugging Yeah. involved. This I I I still doubt that this is a complete hypoglycemic episode the way she was acting. And does she take medication? Oh, yeah. Is she consistently taking it? She does not take it the proper way now. Okay. And what uh what do you >> her all the time. What What's her What's the process on that? Does she just have to remember Does she have alarms? Is there anything What is the She just She's prescribed certain medications. It's like five or six different medications and she'll only take them you know she feels she should when they're supposed to be taken every day. If she runs out of her medication she'll she'll doctor shop. She'll call tell a doctor to write She's asked me to try to get her drugs. Oh, you got problems. Look at me. I ain't doing that. I never did it for her. I'm not trying to bash her but it's absurd Why Why Why she have to go and and throw the pan and throw burgers and toss pasta and then call you guys and then say what? What she say? I can guarantee you why I know what she's saying now that I attacked her or I did something I'm So it's all my fault. Doubt about that. Yeah. I know how she is. Well, we don't just do our jobs based on one side of the story and we don't just do our jobs just cuz somebody tells us something. So >> mark on her. The only mark she could have is maybe from the grease when she threw the pan. I don't know but >> Yeah. it didn't hit me thank god. Hot grease was it old or hot >> It was No, it was I was I was I was frying a a hamburger in a pot with a little bit of butter in it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Okay. After taking statements from the victim officers observed visible injuries and noted her account differed from Gerald's leading them to place him under arrest immediately for domestic battery. Well, you left when she told you to leave. No. No. No. No, I was making her food. She said she's having a hypoglycemic episode so I kept trying to make her her pasta and I tried to bring it to her and then she threw the pasta at me and then she came out threw the burger into the garbage can and whipped the the the the burger in the pan towards the back curtain. And that's when I left. I said I'm getting out and then she called you guys and I didn't say a word I left. I didn't do no such I have with my legs, sir. I I I didn't do anything, sir. I didn't do anything to her. Well, that's what she said. But she's lying. She's done this before. She calls you guys for no reason constantly on me. She's called You guys have taken her away. Any knives, needles anything like No. No, sir. I didn't do anything. I left because I didn't want a problem. Sir, is there anything we can I mean this is absurd. I I I I didn't do anything. I just left because The other deputy out here was over there. That's the information he gave me. He's on his way here. I didn't do anything but try to make her food and when she started slamming it around and throwing it that's when I left. That's it. That's what she said. You're going You're going to jail. Last thing she said to me you're going to jail. Cuz she didn't like me leaving. I She didn't want me to leave. She told me to get out but when I leave she said oh, you're leaving I'm going to call the police and get you arrested. You did what you wanted to do. I don't believe it. Come on, fellas. This is the Well, you said this isn't the first time, right? Not the first time, no. So why you still with her? Exactly. It is my fault. I should never come back. I do blame myself for that. You're right. We do have it. I should never come back. But that doesn't mean it's okay for her to make up a lie and get me arrested. Like I told you earlier we don't just arrest people based on what one person's saying or what they tell us to do. But it was just me and her in the house. It's her word against mine. She was irrational, inconsolable, screaming, throwing food throwing dog I I I never harmed her. I never did anything to her at all. I didn't even say a word when I left. I didn't curse. I didn't yell. I got my stuff and left after she did that. What What uh what tow company do you want to come get your truck? You got a preference? Which I don't know. Rogers, John's? Which one? I don't know. Tell me what you want. We got Rogers, John's. Which one is is down there like underneath the overpass? That is John's. Keep that I guess. I don't believe this. I'd appreciate that very much. My phone is in my pocket, I believe. Oh, no. It's in the center console, I believe, in my truck. What's What's your passcode? I'm sorry? >> What's your passcode? >> 197619 197619? >> Yeah. Where's your volume at? Uh There you go. Don't say anything. Just Can you go and pick up my truck? Your call has Hello? Mom? Yeah? I need you to come get my truck. Why? Well, Jenny and me got in a fight and she's having me arrested. What? Yep. I'm I'm in cuffs right now. What? She threw a hot frying pan >> Yeah, let's see what I can get in the >> I'm sorry. I apologize. Anyway, can you come get the Mom, I need you to bail me out and get the truck, please. But I was going No, I didn't know about it. I just >> So, what does that mean? It cuz it's the truck FR suspension means either you have no insurance and lapse >> about your insurance lapse. >> we have to >> it. Either way, your license is in Okay. There's a seized tag order on the Yeah, so we got to take the tags so she can't drive it anyway. >> I have insurance, they Yeah, you have to go You have to go and get that reinstated. All right. Mom? What? Are you Are you coming? Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything. I can't I can't come until I Well, you need She can't get the truck anyway. >> Don't even worry about it. Don't even worry about it cuz you got the FR suspension. >> they said that because it's my insurance lapsed that they got to tow the truck anyway. Just please bail me out, Mom. I can't sit here with my legs What you got there? What is this? You have insurance? I know I have insurance, Mom. They're saying that uh I was too late. My license got suspended when it was when I didn't have the insurance. I just paid and got the insurance put on, but I didn't know the license was suspended. I needed to go take care of that. So, why is she Why is she getting arrested? She I ain't going to get into it. The cops are right here holding the phone. I'll tell you about it when I when I see you. Please bail me out, Mom. Or is it because of the seized tag order? I can do it. I got plenty of He's It's going to be a while till he gets here. John's is going to be the one towing the car. Okay. John's towing. My legs I can't stand up. >> Okay. I I can't >> up. I don't know. My I have femoral nerve damage. So, I had surgery. I can't. My legs are You see how actually they are? I'm not lying. You're fine. Okay. I got it. All right. I'm not making that up. I got you. Okay. Watch your hand. Swap over cuffs and then Okay. Hang out right here for a second. I'm going to get another set of cuffs. What? Yeah, could be worse. I just don't understand how she can just say what she says and I go to jail and and nothing I say seems to matter. I mean, did they did it occur to anybody that she didn't throw grease on herself? I mean She's crazier than a [ __ ] house rat. I'm not saying she is or isn't. Give me your phone. Turn around. All right. Remember what I said. What's that? And you won't be in this position. I should have listened to that advice probably 20 50 30 times before. Well, hopefully this is the last time that you hear it. And hopefully you take it. Your words to your lips to God's ears. Thank you. All right. >> Thank you. Mom, sorry. I I don't know. I just can't believe this girl. You know, she was free time felon. She's going to jail for forging uh prescriptions. This girl knows how to play the system and lie and lie. What's your name? >> And that's exactly what she's doing. She got her way. She said, "You're going to jail." And that's where I'm going. I got you. You got to pull over to our tire and then check We're going to I I know it's not. I'm [ __ ] It's ain't built for comfort. I'm sorry. >> I know that. I guess this is good as You got any guys? Yeah.
