lives it all started on August 30th 2022 when Detroit police officers learned that an 8-year-old was being electrocuted by a low hanging live power line stay back stay back where's the wire where's the wire where's the there right face is that the one right in front of you yes this one right here get it buddy buddy buddy come here buddy come here come here don't touch you might still be alive Dave all right I'm going to yeah the boy wasn't moving and was directly under the live power line meaning he couldn't save himself and anyone who tried could face a similar fate however this officer saw an 8-year-old who might still be alive and his only options were to save him or die trying I got to get him right I got to get him right there jaob jaob keep coming keep coming keep coming [Applause] keep watch yeah yeah yeah you there buddy stilla he's still breathing hey buddy stay there buddy come on come on come on hey bud hey buddy get him in a position he yeah yeah yeah hold on just hold on hold on hold on hold on him a minute hey buddy you want a take the backpack off the 8-year-old had severe burns to his hand and waist so after confirming that he was alive the officers rushed him into the squad car and headed straight for the hospital knowing that he would soon regain Consciousness and be in severe pain there you go open your eyes I know I know it hurts I know no going to go to the hospital going I know you're all right okay the officers got into the hospital in 4 minutes with other units blocking traffic on the route to save the child's life and it eventually worked as the 8-year-old survived the incident and officers Daniel Rose and David Chapman who risked their lives to save him were honored with the Valor award for their heroism if you're enjoying this video please like And subscribe they couldn't turn their back on an innocent 8-year-old however the next case involves a three-year-old who just couldn't save himself and the officer was his only hope at Living For I found him he's in a pool on September 22nd 2024 officers in Fort Wayne were searching for a missing 3-year-old in his neighborhood with no luck but suddenly a lone officer began hearing a faint cry from nearby the sound was coming from a backyard two houses away from the child's residence which had an above ground pool but the officer found something shocking when he looked inside I found he's in a pool uh two houses South backyard come here buddy hey hey he's breathing uh conscious go ahead start me at 13 okay you okay hey hey it's okay you okay the 3-year-old was somehow floating in the pool and while it wasn't certain how he got inside the officer noticed that he had swallowed lots of water meaning very bad news if he wasn't found any sooner okay okay okay okay he's definitely taking in a lot of water okay okay you're okay it's okay it's okay hey Budd you okay you're okay he was given medical attention and afterward reunited with his family floating in the water kept him alive however these officers had to risk losing their lives to make what would become the scariest Rescue of their careers no no no no on May 3rd 2019 Austin PD Officers were called to a vehicle containing three women and a dog trapped in rushing water on a low crossing bridge so upon arrival the officers tied a r to their patrol vehicle and tried to rescue them hold on TI all right here over there go over there although the water was low it had a very high speed capable of sweeping anyone off their feet and while they got two women out the officers knew getting the last woman and their dog out would be the hardest part of the rescue because the water was rising and the vehicle was slowly going over the side of the bridge on me I got you I got you go go give me your hand God w I got go go got my dog please give here get get over here come on come on puppy come on [Applause] puppy you got to St back come on come on come on come on come on come on puppy come on baby 46 you can open it up [Applause] here come on it's okay [Applause] fing dog thanks man you save me I don't have my phone all right there's more things to worry about all right here just get back here both officers risked their lives multiple times to save each other and ensure that the entire family was reunited and safe again they didn't receive much thanks from the women but they were sure to thank themselves thanks brother good job guys good job man you he had me but godamn don't let go scar of oh man I appreciate that bud I thought I was going to go with her you were rushing that dog out they just started swinging out and I I know no no you do what you could man that's why I grabbed her arm and you yeah she just like jumped into I know I know it's all right you did what you could just a minute later the vehicle went over the side of the bridge making the officer's timely rescue much more crucial however nothing was more crucial than getting this car door open because the car was about to explode with people still inside on April 25th 2021 Atlanta police officers were dispatched to a gas station regarding a burning car with an unconscious driver still inside I got get give you back get back wor about car I got relax relax it's having a season no do I got enough room to get out I got sir stand by he's having a season it wasn't clear what caused the fire but everyone had left the man and run out of the the gas station but even with distractions from a patron and an officer getting injured while breaking the window the officers were determined to get the driver out of the vehicle and they wouldn't leave without him get him out SS see radio have fire step it up damn a door put put go on and collectively the officers pulled the man out and he was given immediate medical attention they stopped at nothing to ensure they got him out however these officers had to save a family from this 75-year-old man armed with two knives drop the knife don't come near me don't come near me but they could only get him out of the house or go meet him inside on July 2nd 2022 officers arrived at a home regarding a 75-year-old man armed with two kitchen knives but there was something else that these officers didn't know about the incident I'm here to help you can you just put the knife down and we can figure out we can just figure it all out we'll get you some help do can you not see me hey why you uh can you guys move my light so he can see that's on my place yeah it's okay I'll come to you but can I just have you drop the knife uh not really what do you need what do I need to do to get you to drop the knife well that that's me that's my okay I can back up for you I'm having trouble hearing you so that's that's what's up Sir yeah my name I'm a police officer for the Sacramento Police Department here uh no he he could go away he could go away don't worry about it don't worry about him come can you just put the knife down just please put the knife down instead of threatening the homeowner Put The Knife Down the officers spoke calmly and tried to deescalate the situation for over 10 minutes because no one appeared to be in immediate danger but the man's stepdaughter was now on the scene and told the officers something that changed the urgency of the situation no there's more people inside my mother is that bathroom he made okay let's make sure she's barricaded the door if she so he can't get out into there sh there's nothing to barri is there like but she just do not let do not have her go outside the bathroom she's locked in there and she's not moving unless he get out apparently the man stayed with his wife who originally called 911 to report that he threatened to kill her during his hallucinations so with a woman in possible danger the officers had to act fast to either persuade and unarm the man or take lethal action drop the knif don't come near me don't come near me hey get lesle stay come to me hey come to me come to me she lied to me who's got the she knows it come here she's in the bathroom sge pal we just want to chat with you look is that enough guns my God I know but we don't want to hurt you please just come no who's got taser got bean bag yeah let's up oh look at this hey pal come on Sergeant what's your decision if he goes towards the bathroom again what are we going to do are we going to use less lethal sorry he's got two knives in his hands hey come here come here sir don't go over there come here sir come on out come on and after several more minutes of trying to persuade him the officers knew they had to act when they heard the bathroom door open up and the woman scream for help the man was inches away from his screaming wife when police shot him three times before retrieving the woman who was not seriously injured they provided Medical Aid to him until Medics took him to a hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced dead none of the officers were injured during the encounter however it was almost impossible for these officers not to be injured as they basically jumped into Fire To Save a Life come on man come on come up come out get out on May 24th 2021 officers were called regarding a vehicle on fire and they quickly realized that a man was still inside it hey man the car was almost completely engulfed in flames and look to explode at any second meaning the serious smoke inhalation injuries but survived the incident thanks to the officer's quick efforts they were given a Chief's coin of recognition for their heroic actions we don't consider ourselves
