yet so I'll advise if he stops the sergeant followed the vehicle with lights off intending to wait for backup before pulling the occupants over since they outnumbered him however his plans changed annoyed with the woman they didn't want her charged but only asked calmly for a crash report however when the officers met the woman it was clear the stop would end a whole lot differently the reason a concealed weapon used in a felony by a person under 24 the officers prevented a shootout and the victim was luckily uninjured but the same couldn't be set for the next case as this road rager made a rage that left a man with a bleeding jaw what's up man I was turning in to go get something to eat while this depuy spoke to the bruised victim other deputies stopped the aggressor who was in the car with his son judging by the damage to the victim's face they expected the aggressor was having a rough day but his day would only get worse from here hey how are you man hey I'm with the Sheriff's me an EMS code check her out she's uh asking for check question so so she cut you off right she cut you off behind she was behind you and then she got in front of you almost hit you after I got over after you got over she she almost caused us to have a w that was all on her I I when I was getting over she was nowhere near me okay I had ample time to get and not speeding or anything like that neither was she yeah until she didn't want me to to get over okay then she sped okay and then she went around me did you get out of the car did you step out of the car she came to me she came to you I got out of the car not expecting to get beat up right apparently at my age I'm not going to swing I could have hit her I could have hit her back right I sat there and took quite a few swings but I didn't hit her back because I told him to call his father so he can get home okay was he with you yes that's my son he's autistic oh okay I wouldn't do anything like that with him in the car anyway yeah especially with him in the car yeah did he get out and try to uh he got out but I didn't know he got out to the man in the white truck up next to me told him to get back in the car cuz he was holling at the other girl telling the other girl to stop mhm cuz everybody knew that she beat up on me like I wasn't I didn't go to her I didn't start swinging none of that okay my son got out she still threw in a couple more punches because I told him I said don't you dare hit her she's not worth it don't you hit her cuz otherwise I'd have been hitting her right I'm not going to stand there and take a beating I mean I can swing I might be old but I can still swing okay but she's young and I'm not going to sit there and SW now if she' been my age maybe I might have fought back I don't know but she's to me she's like a child so I'm not going to sit here swing on a child considering senior citizens can get irritable very quick quickly it took heavy restraint for this 60-year-old not to fight back and that earned her a trip to the hospital for a concussion however she wanted to press charges against the 19-year-old so using her vehicle tag officers tracked her to her home I'm over here at the light okay and the lady is cutting in front of me mhm and she has her blinker on but she's already like right here she's about to hit me so I start honking and she keeps cutting over so I swear to the other B and I throw a bottle at her car M okay okay and then she starts like driving crazy like getting go up on me and stuff so when I get the light I stop at my car in park and I get out and then I walk to her and she walks to me and she's in my face so I push her back mhm and then she gets back in my face so I hit her okay you knew that was not right right yes okay all right so that being said pretty much you're going to have she want to press charges me or her she want she want to press charges yes ma' cuz she actually was taken to the hospital with concussion cuz you hear her so bad and then she was 60 little tiny Grandma yeah all right giving a 60-year-old a concussion after multiple head blows is nothing to smile about even for a 19-year-old while that might just be a way to deal with her nerves it appeared that this wasn't her first time being aggressive towards people but she would pay dearly for this one do I turn around for me all right y going B up ass sit up there doing stupid like that you know I uh I thought it was going to be some minor yeah I thought it was going to be some minor alocation and stuff like that you know but I got there she's got all these bumps uh on her head and stuff like that so she couldn't drive no more she had to the ambulance had to get there to take her to hospital stuff like that so what what about her did you have a passenger with her she had an autistic uh kid with her and he can drive yeah yes sir all right well she learn something because I mean that's stupid [ __ ] is just ridiculous where she learns at I don't know time miss the suspect was charged with battery against an elderly woman and faced a 12-month probationary period She was mandated to complete 40 hours of community service and attend a 10-week anger management course the 19 18-year-old took responsibility for her road rage but the same couldn't be said for this road rager who aggressively denied everything even after being caught in the act break your on May 11th 2022 officers arrived at the home of a man believed to be involved in a road rage incident a few minutes prior you know why we're here got feel hey what's going on were you over there at the gas station yeah we were just about to call you oh okay I also got a guy I I got his uh license plate number but also a gentleman that was in traffic okay um his name here is Michael uh they have a business in town I think it's they saw everything that happened okay why don't you tell so basically what happened was this guy's driving erratically behind us okay I'm in that truck right there yeah and we have a kid in the car all right so he's tried to hurt me in my stop stop can I talk to them please for we weren't there so we're trying to figure out what what happened he tried to he tried to ma'am just relax let's talk can I just talk to him tell him what happened than it's not a big deal as far as what could have happened but so long story short um Bel a thank you so we're coming down Bel a go all the way over to the um right the left side lane to take the left take the left as we take the left he tries to go into the far Lane that I'm driving into and literally I mean I thought he hit us like he was right there right so okay we make mistakes whatever keep driving right he's doing these this behind you guys behind us swerving swerving swerving so I'm out my window going what what are you doing you know so then he pulls over to the other lane tries to come over there's a car in front of me he can't go anywhere he's screaming in my window I have a 10-year-old right here you know what I mean like screaming terrible profanities so I'm like I got a kid in the car he goes I don't give a run you off the road blah blah blah blah blah right so I ruthless stuff ever then he gets out so I got out and I start walking over to his car and he starts walking towards me and then when I get closer to him he bounces so you guys were like in this confrontation okay well we were about to be and then he went back in the car okay so then I'm screaming at him going are you freaking kidding me you almost my kid this that and the other so as I'm screaming at him he tries to come and hit me but I had to dodge my way out of his way and then he had nowhere to go forward so I went around the car his window was down I'm screaming at him through the window same exact thing cries the other way and tries to hit me and he was down in the embankment and everything I had to dive out of the way on that one then he let then he pulled off into the lane and I came up and took a picture of his license plate and while I was doing that two or three people were like we saw everything that happened and this guy had a card and I said can I have him call you please like you saw it and they said yes so that's what just happened and my dad's a cop I'm you know you like kick his car or anything like that no that you know of no okay I didn't get close enough for that he hit me with his car Richard explained that he didn't go near the other car but the driver a 17-year-old had a very different story and a daunting video to prove it break a 17-year-old driver claimed that Richard reached into his passenger window and smacked the phone off his hand before smashing his passenger side mirror and kicking his door the officers already knew about this but Richard had no idea and tried to make his lies even more convincing Teresa Shaw yeah so that's like my best friend RJ is a good friend Teresa's really awesome person yeah she's great we're like family they're I call my Bo family so um I'm not nuts I don't do this but when you're messing with a kid and you don't care and you're saying I'm going to run you off the road I don't give a about your was young was it a young person or older person hi honey you're all right honey I know it's scary thank you it's okay baby this is what happens in an adult world that's these these guys make it better and and make it right how old are you you're 10 just minute I'll be right back okay were you guys all in this car together yeah why didn't you wait for us at the gas station who was what do you mean we're didn't this this happened at the gas station pulled into the gas station when she we we pulled out we didn't want any more confrontation okay we thought he was coming after I thought he was going to come hit the car he was yeah that's why it's weird usually uh victims usually call us first you know so Weir that you guys came home and didn't call us we have a child that was flipping and we have a witness of somebody I don't know so hopefully she talks to them and how do you know how old he was I have no idea know is that he was ruthless he tried to hit me twice so if he wants to press charges I'm going to press attempted murder charges no if ANS or buts about it you can ask her ask her what he was she was the most scared because she thought I was going to get hit by his car because he kept coming after me driving I'm going to call Teresa real quick to Teresa Shaw you know her uh she rings a bell I think so you for the service office yeah the couple pulled every stop they could to make themselves appear innocent and get their way but the 17-year-old had video evidence that Richard was the aggressor in this road rage and nothing they said could change that all right put your money back please what's that put your money back for what being placed under for felony C and child abuse say again they've got video footage of the whole thing of the whole incident yes and um it's got shows you kicking the vehicle multiple times reaching in the car swatting the phone out of the kid's hand and while he's in the driver's seat the swatting a phone when he said he's going to shoot me just so and then is there is there a video camera footage of him trying to hit me with his car they have all of it all of it's on video footage so is he getting arrested I'm not there I'm not there witnessing the video but this I'm getting arrest right now for this because I had a child in the car and this guy for a mile and a half 2 miles was messing with us to the point where what you're saying I understand what you're saying I do understand what you're saying a [ __ ] about your child you well that's all for those okay so then when he says he's going to shoot me and he pulls up something in his car what he pull up it was gray did you see a gun or did anybody see a gun saw I it was so fast he he was literally moving it was fast raising it up to me I it was gray that's all I knew all I knew is whatever it was it wasn't getting pointed at my face what it looked like it looked like a gray metal object pointed at my face it's funny how the supposed gun was never
