On April 20th, 2024, detectives began investigating a burglary at Cottage Hill Bus Company in Villa Park, Illinois. Surveillance footage showed a man leaving a nearby bar before walking onto the bus property, where several Motorola radios and equipment were later reported stolen. Weeks later, undercover officers arranged a meeting through Offerup after spotting the stolen radios for sale online. When the suspect arrived at a McDonald's with five radios in a shoe box, officers moved in for the arrest. Nobody's moving, sir. Perfect.
