On June 28th, 2023, officers were called to handle what should have been a simple purchase transaction, but a small misunderstanding quickly turned into something much larger. >> Hello. So, what's going on? >> I'll walk you to your arrest her. >> Okay. >> She slapped my son. >> Okay. Are you the >> I'm the owner. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. So, what happened? >> She come down here last Friday and she ordered 8 yd of rock. >> Okay. >> So, you can clearly go over there >> Hang on. Hang on. >> You can clearly go over there and look. What Can you walk over here? Look, she ordered 8 yd. She's trying to say we only delivered her five. No, we didn't. We delivered her eight. She wouldn't know 8 yd from 5 yd. We're not cheating people 3 yd of rock when we deliver them. >> Okay. >> First she was trying to say we only delivered her 5 yd, which we did not. We loaded it yesterday and delivered it. We delivered her 8 yd. >> Okay. >> She ordered this rock. >> Okay. >> It's inch and a quarter minus. >> Okay. >> We call it inch and a quarter minus for a reason because there's pieces that are inch and a quarter and smaller. >> Okay. >> Do you see all these little pieces in here? You see those? >> Yep. >> She come down Friday herself on her motorcycle, walked around for an hour. She picked this rock out herself. She's saying all the rock on top of this gravel was this size. And she had no idea that these little bitty tiny pieces were in here. You Can you see the little tiny pieces? >> Yeah. >> Yes, you can. And it's also called inch and a quarter minus, which means it's inch and a quarter all the way down to this little bitty stuff. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, she thought that we should do something about it because there's a bunch of little stuff in it. You looked at it. You picked it out and it says inch and a quarter minus. And I told her I said, "Ma'am, I said, that's why we call it inch and cakes. It's unfortunate for us when we get it that it's got small stuff in it, but we pay for it that way weighed and that's the way we sell it." She was not having it, okay? So, finally as she had ordered a couple more things that somebody was going to pick up for her because they haven't come to pick up yet. So, finally after about 10 minutes of her sitting there on and on about how the stuff had small stuff in it and she didn't know why we didn't tell her that there was small stuff in it. Because it says minus and you can see it. Well, I'm not a babysitter here. And she just And finally I told her I said, "Ma'am, what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you your money back on the stuff that your whoever it is hasn't picked up yet and I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't come back to my business if you're not going to be satisfied, okay?" She gets her phone out and she starts recording me being very vulgar. And she And she's saying, "Well, you should have told people." I said, "The sign says minus. I did warn people. That's why I've got it. I've warned you that it was minus." And I said, "Please quit recording me." She wouldn't quit recording me. So, I went over there and I opened my door and I said, "Please get out." She would not get out. So, I walked over there to her. I did not touch her. I said and I pointed at her, "I said, get out." And she got up and she bowed up on me like got right right in my face and then my son jumped up from the desk and he come got in between us and because she was starting to hit me. He got in between us and he did like this. He put his arm up like this to keep her from getting any closer to him and away from me and she slapped him. >> Is that the one that was just here? >> Yes. >> Where did he slap Where did she slap him at? >> Oh, I don't even know. All I know >> How old is he? >> He's 20. >> Well, 19. He's 19. >> Okay, let me >> See, I don't know where she slapped All I heard was he was a pop and he said, "You You hit me." And she said, "You hit me first." He said, "I didn't touch you." >> Do you have cameras or anything the inside? >> No, not on the inside. >> What you need? >> Lawson, will you take her out? To give her your statement, too. What happened to you, Lawson? >> I need 8 cubic yards. >> Where did she Where did she hit you at? >> Oh, just on the arm. >> Okay, are you wanting to press charges against her? You just want her banned from coming back in the property? >> I don't want to press charges. I mean, she's a woman. Like, I'm I'm not going to >> What happened to you, Lawson? >> The only reason why I don't Like, I I did push her back with my arm, but that's cuz she was the best >> She put her phone in my mom's face. >> I wasn't going to let her hit my mom. >> No, that's fine. >> So, I just pushed her back like that, and she didn't She didn't hit me then, and then she kept putting her phone in my face trying to video me, and I was I just stand I had her kind of in this corner here, and I wouldn't let her get near my mom. >> Okay. >> And then she kept putting her phone in my face, and I was just trying to keep the phone out of my face, and she hit my arm. >> Okay. >> So, I was I mean, I don't want to press charges. Like, cuz she's a woman. Like, if it was a man that hit me, you know, I might be different. >> Well, just cuz she's a woman doesn't give her right to for her to put hands on you. >> Yes. >> But, I mean, that's up to you if that's what you If you don't want it, then we can we'll ban her from the property and go from there. >> I want her arrested. I want her arrested. She can't come in property and act this way. >> I want to press the charges. >> Yeah, I want I want to, Lawson. Press the charges on her. >> Even if with him not having injuries, I can't it'll have to go to the warrant process cuz he doesn't have any injuries on him. >> Yeah, I want I want her to get a warrant. And I want her banned from this property. >> get my notepad, then. Hang on 1 second. All right, so you tell me your side. >> I told you to go inside. Bye-bye. Go inside. >> See, that's what I was doing. >> Okay. >> I see her mouth. >> I know. I I just Go inside for a second, and I'll be in there. >> Who's mouth? >> Huh? >> Who's mouth? >> Okay. You can stop Tell me Okay, tell me what happened. >> What happened? I'm being quite disappointed because I got a delivery of that yesterday, when that's what I was expecting. Um pretty uncool. 80 cubic yards of that. Most of it is >> Well, I mean, she showed me the the thing that she got it from. So, it has big and little rocks in it. >> when I came, I was brought this, and they were all sitting on top like that. >> Okay. >> So, that's kind of >> Well, I'm just going to put it out here. They didn't go in pick through all of that to give you just the little rocks. >> you it was it was underneath, you know, it was kind of a little bit of false advertising what is sitting on top. The guy who delivered it said, "Yeah, the little stuff all sits underneath, and you don't see it until it's delivered." And I'm like, "Well, I deliberately it's smaller than pea >> Okay. >> pea. So, I was just like So, she's just in there arguing the toss saying, "Well, there's nothing we can do about it. That's how they deliver it to us and everything." And I said, "So, don't they grade it?" I said, "Don't you look at it?" Or or you couldn't have sat down and said, you know, when I'm holding these stones and everything, "Well, most of it is going to be like that." I said, "Could you have not just said that to me?" There's a sign out there. And I said, "But yeah, in but in all good faith, you couldn't have just said, you know, that I was going to I was getting this kind of crap." >> Okay. >> And at that moment, she just jumped up and started yelling and screaming. "Right, that's it. You just get out of here. We're done." And she's just yelling at me. She's standing up. And then she walks over to me, and I'm still sitting down, and she's in my face. And she's just yelling at me. So, I stood up, and I said, "Listen, you don't want to be getting aggressive with me." >> Okay. Back up for me. >> Yeah. Well, it was like that. >> Okay. >> Sorry. And then and and at this time, while she's yelling and screaming, I have my camera on, but I didn't it wasn't pressed. It didn't work. >> Okay. >> So, anyway, so her son jumps in between and tries to manhandle my my phone off of me. I slapped him like like that. >> Okay. >> Like that. But he had pushed me like that away. >> Well, he said he was trying to push you out of his momma's face. So, I mean, I don't She was in Again, I wasn't here. >> She was in my face. >> Well, apparently she said she asked you to leave several times. Did she ask you to leave? >> Yeah, I wanted my money back. >> Okay. Well, that's a civil issue. But, here's the deal. If she wants you to leave, this is her property. You would have to leave. I mean >> she told me she was going to give me my money back and then she didn't. >> Okay. That's going to be You'll have to take her to court on that that aspect of it. So, let me get names and stuff. Hang on 1 second. >> I'm taking my credit card. But, I need my money back. >> I just want to say you do realize you can't slap people, right? >> He does realize that he can't grab my phone out of my hand. >> He says he didn't grab. He held his hands this whole way. >> He had his hands on my phone. Sorry, I'm standing too close to you. Sorry, no. He had his hand on my phone and he had his arm out like that. >> Okay. >> And And I said, "You You don't be touching my phone. You don't touch me." I never touched his phone. >> reference. >> So, I'm not getting arrested? >> No, they're doing I'm going to do a report. It's going to have to go through the investigation process of it and then they'll go from there. You'll have an investigator get in touch with you. You'll be able to go through your side of the story same way with theirs, okay? >> Well, he said, she said, isn't it? I wish that my phone had worked. Then you'd be able to see it. You should have been able to see how he worked. >> [laughter] >> I still I still need my money back for the other stuff that I bought. >> Again, that's going to be a civil issue. You will have to take her to I can't make her I mean, we don't get involved in Listen. Listen to me. Okay. Again, I can't make her do anything. That's all a civil issue, okay? You will have to take her to court for it or whatever it is. We don't get involved in any kind of money disputes, civil issue, anything like that. Um and I'm going to let her know the same thing. Now, if she actually will give it back to you right now, then that's going to be on her. But, I can't make her do that. Cuz it's all civil. So, we don't We don't get involved in civil issues, okay? >> Well, I'm just going to send my guy there and see if he can get the stuff that I paid for. If I paid for it and I've got my receipt, then >> Well, I mean, absolutely. >> Yeah. Yeah. Just send something else down to get it. She told me in there that she's going to give me my money back. She didn't care about the my guy coming over and getting it. >> Okay, well, let me I'll find out for you. Hang Well, it's going to have to go through the uh >> I don't care. >> Cuz I want to get If he had injury, then >> You're lucky. >> Don't make it worse. >> I've got a thing >> Don't make it worse. Don't make it Don't make it Don't Don't Don't Don't Don't Don't say nothing that I'm going to make you have to go to jail for it, too. So, let's go in there and I'm going to get y'all's information. >> Yeah, I will. >> It's not worth it. And I will Now, she said something about >> Yeah, look at it. >> Be the Be the adult. Be the adult. Be the adult. >> She's lucky I wasn't here cuz I would >> Uh She said something about she Somebody's supposed to There's She's got other stuff she paid for. Are you okay if somebody else comes and picks it up? No. I don't No, she's not getting anything here. Then you're going to have to refund the money cuz you you can't keep the money and not give her property cuz you You're going to get yourself in a bind. So, I don't care how you do it. If you don't let her come pick >> Oh, I already told her I'd refund the money. >> Okay, good. >> I told her that I would See, she's still over there mouthing. >> Okay. Let's go in there and let me get y'all's information. >> I told her before when before she started screaming, yelling, and cussing at me, I told her I said, "Ma'am, I will refund the money for the stuff you already got." I got in my car and I said, and then I asked you not to come back to my property. This she went bizarre. >> Okay. So, as long as you refund the money, then that's fine. But, just don't not refund the money because then you're going to get yourself in a pickle. >> I I had already told her I would refund it. >> Okay. And I'll let her know that you're going to refund the money. >> I have to have her card to refund it. She paid with the card. >> Okay. Let me see if I can get it from her. >> If you get the card from her, I'll refund it and give it to you and you can get >> Okay. >> So, just out of curiosity, what is she saying over there? >> She's saying that you when she was upset about the rock, she was she said that you first got in her face. >> I did not. I told her I >> Again, I mean I wasn't here, so I don't know. Um And then that's when she said your son went to grab the phone. >> No, he just got in your >> 10-4. Okay. All right, let me go see if I can get her debit card real fast and then I'll come right back to you. Do you have your debit card? Cuz she said if you give me the debit card, I'll take it in there and she can refund you the money. >> Who was that a threat? >> I didn't even actually hear him. >> That bald guy just yelled out to me, "You're lucky." He was standing right there. >> Oh, I was I'm sorry, I was talking to her. I wasn't even paying attention. >> He said to me and goes, "You're you're you're lucky." >> And technically no, that's not actually a threat enough to actually press charges. But if you want your refund, you'll hand me the debit card, I'll take it in there and have it refunded. >> And then I'm going to cancel the other order with my credit card company. Okay. >> That's the one you used? Okay. >> Are you talking about the rocks that you just ordered? >> Yes, I did. So >> Okay, but here's the deal. You can't do that cuz then you you can you would have to give all those rocks back. Because you can't cancel and then keep the rocks. >> can come get them. >> Okay. All right. All right, so here's the card she said she used. Okay, so here's what I'm doing. I'm I'm returning $199.26. >> If that's >> Is that the two things that she hasn't gotten yet? >> a half yards of old size was it all? A yard of super chips. So that's the price of the old size, super chips, that's the tax. >> Okay. >> And then here's the total. >> Okay. >> Now, this doesn't go in immediately. It takes 48 to 72 hours. >> I'll let her know that. So I'm going to have y'all fill out a statement form of what happened today and then it's going to just go with the Here's your driver's license back. It's going to go with the report. >> The thing is he doesn't want to press charges because he's in college and this is probably going to be right in the middle of school and he's probably never going to So, if we don't go through with it, can we always drop the charges if it's going to be inconvenient and not have to go to court? >> I mean, it's yeah, if you if that's what y'all want. But if you're going to do that, I wouldn't go the route that you want to go right now then. I would just tell her that she's banned from the property. If she comes back on the property, then she can be arrested for criminal trespass if you want me to do that. >> I think that's the best route to go because whenever cross country comes out, I'm gone. >> I don't blame you cuz I mean, how old are you? 19? >> Something like that. >> Yeah. It's up to you guys. I'm not going to sit here and persuade you either way, but if you don't want to go to court or you know that you're probably not going to be able to make it back to court. >> I don't think it's really going to make it make a difference really cuz I mean >> thing is is I want her to leave here today thinking that she's, you know, you slapped That's not okay. Like >> Well, I I I I've explained that to her. I mean, that's she can't touch somebody just because somebody's blocking the way and all that. She should have just walked out and left and then went from there. >> Okay, so then if he leaves here and then she goes and press charges on him and we didn't press charges on her, then what? >> Then you can always come back and press charges on her. Just cuz you don't do it today doesn't mean it it doesn't happen. I mean, you can't come back and do it. But I mean, I'm not sure what she's saying on it. I don't really see where she has any kind of way of pressing charges cuz >> I'm saying. Like how do you press charges on her? >> that it's going to be hearsay or he said she said. So, that's where it's going to be at. >> She's got a video. >> No, she said it actually wasn't on her. Camera doesn't work. >> Oh, yeah. And conveniently >> I don't know. >> Conveniently. >> It's up to you guys. If y'all want it, I don't mind. I can do it. If you rather not go that direction, then it's then it's >> And you're going to want to come back. >> Okay, so what my question is is if we if we go ahead and press the charges today, can we go and drop the charges and not have to go to court if there's some reason he can't make it? >> I mean, always yes. Um But I'm telling you I wouldn't go that route if that's not the route y'all wanted to go. >> Yeah, but I don't know. If he can't make it, that's the route I want to go. If he's in town, I would go The problem is if he doesn't want it, he's an adult. He can say he doesn't have to, he doesn't want to press charges. >> I know, but he's going to do what I say. >> We'll see about No, cuz I mean if he doesn't want it, you can't persuade him to do it. That's what I'm getting at. >> I'm not going to do it. >> He's an adult. If he was a minor, then yes, you can go with Brianna's mama. He's a minor, that's what I'm going to do. Again, just because she's a woman, I don't want you to think because she's a woman that she has a right to hit you. She does not have a right to hit you, right? So, don't think that just because she's a woman, if I hold off and slap him, he's going to slap me back because just because just because you're a woman does not make it right for anybody to slap you. >> it would like, probably close fist, hit me in the face, but I mean if she just >> Okay. It's up to you. I mean, you're the one that got hit. >> Yeah, I think I I don't think I'm going to do it. I don't think there's any reason to. >> But I can get you a cell phone. She's banned from the property, right? I will let her know that it would take Is it 24 to 48 hours? >> Yeah, here's her number. >> If her If her husband comes down here, I don't know what he looks like. >> Well, I'll explain to her that her husband and her banned from the property, okay? And that she refunded the money back to you. >> She is very inciting. Like, I honestly, you know, I've had issues with customers that are before that, you know, just I've had another woman like her before. But she actually scares me because she's a little bit nutty. >> She's quite a bit larger than you. >> Well, not not even just that. I'm not worried about her like her, you know, her being a threat to you, but more like I don't know what her and her husband are capable of. Like, will they come in here with a gun or something? Like, she's crazy. >> Yeah, and I don't know what her husband looks like, so if he comes in here >> I'm going to explain to her they are not allowed on the property. >> But that don't mean nothing. >> Well, no, but if they come back, then just lock the door, call us immediately. >> Yeah, I don't know what her husband looks like. Never seen him. >> I can get his name. >> Yeah, but I don't know if he comes in here to do something, I'm not going to know him. >> Yeah, I don't I don't know what his name is. That It doesn't matter if you press charges or not. That could >> I know that. That's why I know that. I know that. But that's what I'm I'm not saying that they can do anything about it. I'm saying I'm concerned for like our safety with against them because like I said, I've gotten into it with customers before, you know, and not been scared that they were going to come back and do something, but she's a little bit out there. >> Well, I mean, if >> But nothing y'all can do about that. I know that. She's a little bit out there. >> The only thing I can tell you if he does come up and just call us immediately, lock the doors, and >> I'll just have to look. You just got to watch closer. >> Yep. But if you only just call us if you change your mind If you change your mind. >> Yeah, I can Yeah, that I think that's the better if I if I change my mind like it then I can call. Like this isn't a done deal right here. >> No. If he changes his mind later this afternoon, call. We can take the report over the phone. Um since you didn't have any kind of redness or anything, we can do that. I'll have the information I can pass along to our next shift if you decide later this evening that you want to press charges. >> Yes, ma'am. >> I will let her know when her husband and tell her husband that they're not allowed back in the property and that she's supposed to refund him. All right. Thank you. >> You have a good day. All right. >> You're welcome. >> All right. Have a good day. >> So, that's kind of where we're at. >> Uh they aren't They mad handled the situation. >> Listen to me. >> But we don't need >> And we're done with you. You don't have to finish filling that out cuz they're not going to press charges. So, we're not doing a report. Okay. She did refund you the money. She says it can take 24 to 48 hours to go back on your card. And that is normal. Um >> That's not the full amount. >> That is the amount for two things that you were supposed to pick up this afternoon. I don't know. Again, you'll have to go if it's discrepancy on it, you will have to take them to court on it, okay? So, here's the other thing. They do not want you or your husband back on the property, okay? >> they never met my husband. >> Well, I'm just letting you know. She didn't say she has. Okay. So, listen to me cuz I'm I tell this to everybody. If you come back on the property or your husband comes I'm not saying you will, but if you do, you can be arrested for criminal trespass, okay? So, if you have any kind of discrepancies on money wise, you will have to hire a lawyer and you will have to um I'll take the trash in the bin. You will have to get a lawyer and go through court, okay? >> Oh, yeah, yeah. No, no, no. I I totally agree with that and everything. And you know, same is said with them. Her husband threatened me. That was a veiled threat. >> It's actually in for the statute of Arkansas, it is not a threat. He didn't actually say he was going to harm you. >> But that's why I said a veiled threat. >> Yeah, so best thing is right now is everybody just kind of go their separate ways. >> I agree. I agree. >> And then kind of let tempers kind of calm down and stuff, so just go with that. Just make sure you don't come back, okay? >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll go find me somewhere else to get my stone now and just >> Yeah. >> I've got eight eight cubic yards of useless crap in my driveway now that's going to wash away with the next rain, but >> Well, I'm sorry. >> No, you're all right. So much for coming out and being so understanding and everything. >> I hope everything works out for you. Um >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I do. I've just telling him this isn't the first incident of exactly the same nature that this woman she is on Google if you want to look. She did exactly the same thing to someone else. If I had read that before I came here to buy, I wouldn't have bought here obviously. And she apparently did exactly same thing. It's all there on Google. I'm like, really? So, I was half expecting her to explode, but not quite in the manner that she did. >> Okay. >> Sorry. >> We'll wait on you to leave and then we'll get out of your hair. You're good. You're good.
