these adrenaline fueled encounters between law enforcement and fleeing Suspects on April 5th 2024 a trooper witnessed a drug deal taking place right in front of him when he approached the Dealer's vehicle and instructed the suspect to step out the suspect accelerated and fled the scene okay just step back here dispatch him 30 second [Music] when the trooper got right behind the suspect the driver made a dangerous and Reckless decision pulling into a parking lot and driving around people's houses station cly we're going back the this is one of the craziest chases I've ever seen the suspects Reckless Behavior not only put themselves at risk but also endangered innocent bystanders it's a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of high-speed Pursuits and the critical decisions law enforcement must make in such volatile situations what are your thoughts on this Chase [Music] we're just cing the there [Music] after another 5 minutes of this wild Pursuit the trooper finally seized the opportunity to execute the pit [Music] maneuver T the suspect was arrested and taken into custody without further incident on August 19th 2022 troopers from the Michigan State Police pursued a stolen vehicle occupied by juveniles as it traveled through the city of Grand Rapids and into the city of [Music] Wyoming after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle Michigan State Police quickly located it upon AO in the vehicle they activated their emergency lights and Sirens but the suspect failed to stop and accelerated away [Music] [Music] the suspect quickly reached speeds exceeding 100 mph running red lights and stop signs showing a latent disregard for the safety of other motorists on the road up [Music] 2 two is overhead tell crash as a suspect approached another intersection he collided with another driver but continued to drive as if nothing had happened for 30 seconds from looks like he lost a play out pass for side westbound on Eastern passing [Music] Union be soub on division sou Onision the suspect made a left turn at the intersection and lost control of his vehicle realizing the situation he exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot fo followed closely by the passenger stop [Applause] stop stop stop get out the ground get out the ground out the ground out of the ground hands me on your back too slow my man the suspect was apprehended and arrested while the passenger continued to flee but was captured shortly afterward both were arrested and taken into custody on September 12th 2023 Arkansas State Police engaged in a high-speed pursuit of a black SUV with authorities confirming that the suspect was under the influence of Narcotics the suspect initially responded to the police emergency lights by slowing down at traffic signals but within seconds he accelerated reigniting the pursuit CFS comments [Music] back 30 Service Road passing cr r traffic speed9 starting on production [Music] upon entering the residential area the suspect made a sudden U-turn transforming an already tense situation into a more dangerous one go the house get on the ground the suspect was cornered at a gas station where a trooper caught up and made contact with his vehicle in a desperate attempt to escape the suspect exited and fled on foot but he was apprehended moments later on July 12th 2023 Trooper James was notified of a Pursuit heading eastbound on Interstate 40 from the 256 mile marker as the Tesla driver approached his position Trooper James joined the pursuit uh [Music] Trooper James quickly became the primary unit in the pursuit spike strips were prepared and deployed however they failed to deflate any of the Tesla's tires yeah somebody's still over 40 on the shoulder [Music] 40 traffic H it uh go again go again Trooper James attempted to conduct the pit maneuver but was unable to stop the suspect he made another attempt moments later but that too was unsuccessful I got that he hit 24's car the Tesla driver was successfully stopped and arrested with the suspect taken into custody without further incident on February 20th 2021 Troopers Zachary Walker was traveling Northbound on Harry S Truman Parkway near delesseps Avenue while in the left lane Trooper Walker observed a white Audi sedan ahead that changed to the right lane and accelerated rapidly utilizing the front antenna of the radar unit Trooper Walker clocked the Audi at 83 mph in a 55 mph Zone Trooper Walker positioned the patrol car behind the Audi and initiated a traffic stop the vehicle initially pulled over to the east shoulder but fled as Trooper Walker exited the patrol car and approach from the passenger side as soon as Trooper Walker exited the vehicle the suspect pressed the gas pedal and fled the stop prompting the initiation of a [Music] Pursuit there's people on fireworks in that general area we taking a left on to uh cu [Music] the Audi driver began to drive recklessly through the residential area running stop signs and escalating the danger of the pursuit [Music] call [Music] [Music] all the trooper faced challenges and stopping the suspect and requested assistance yet remained the primary unit in the [Music] pursuit nobody clear [Music] clear nobody clear [Music] r r back [Music] the trooper finally closed the distance to the suspect preparing to execute a pit maneuver to bring the pursuit to a safe and Swift conclusion make contact with him on uh make contact [Music] [Music] right 10 after the pit maneuver the suspect exited his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot however he was located lying in the woods shortly afterward the suspect was arrested and taken into custody without further incident
