Jefferson Avenues ASP located the suspect driving the stolen vehicle North on Jefferson Avenue the suspect turned onto Interstate 30 Eastbound reaching speeds of approximately 95 mph the r traic speed Pine Bluff this arrest came just days before his trial for first-degree murder in connection with the death of Kendrick ramore in September 2023 the suspect who had been out on a $250,000 bond for the murder charge is also facing felony charges for theft of property and fleeing on October 3rd 2024 Miller County Circuit Judge Carlton Jones revoked his previous Bond and set a new Bond of $250,000 for the new charges in Kenny County Texas on the morning of April 7th 2023 a Texas DPS Trooper working with operation Lone Star attempted to pull over a gray Toyota sedan but instead of stopping the were also found inside the driver 26-year-old Donald Graves and passenger 25-year-old naua har both from Louisiana now face Federal smuggling charges but Graves known to be a member of a Baton Rouge gang is also wanted for two murders and two attempted murders in connection with a 2022 shooting this arrest not only ended a dangerous Pursuit but it also disrupted a major smuggling operation tied drinking during the chase this wasn't the first time deputies had encountered the suspect he had previously LED law enforcement on a high-speed chase back in October just after being released from prison in that incident he was arrested for DUI attempting to elude and driving on a suspended license now on January 25th the suspect faced new charges of DUI attempting to elude a police vehicle and driving with a suspended license he was also cited for running a red light public intoxication and littering talk about a repeat offender stop your on May 30th 2023 an officer responded to alarming reports of reckless driving a woman described by witnesses as driving erratically and endangering others on the road ultimately collided with another vehicle resulting in a serious accident did you property damage and DUI with the sobriety test results and witness accounts backing the case it's clear that the law applies to everyone no matter their Fame dash cam footage has been released showing the moment a drunk driving crash seriously injured Illinois state trooper Michael cens the crash occurred in September 2014 when Trooper cens was conducting a traffic stop Leslie thuro 61 struck cens while he was on the shoulder sending him flying over the hood of the vehicle thorough then continued driving hitting an SUV with a family of four which rolled after the crash Thor's vehicle eventually collided with a concrete median an investigation revealed that her blood alcohol level level was over twice the legal limit and her driver's license had been revoked due to previous DUI convictions after spending two years in jail awaiting trial thorough was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the crash that left trooper cens and four others hospitalized as a result of the crash Trooper Michael cens endured significant injuries including 15 broken bones he underwent eight surgeries and 17 months of therapy despite the challenge Trooper cens was medically cleared to return to full duty on May 1st 2016 and resumed his work patrolling the north tri-state area on April 24th 2018 Trooper franceski was conducting a routine traffic stop when the suspect driving a Honda Civic deliberately struck the rear of her patrol vehicle despite the Collision Trooper franceski immediately pursued the suspect as he sped down the emergency Lane and shoulder weaving through thick traffic to escape the 20 FL Troopers options to end the pursuit are limited the heavy traffic blocks any chance of executing a pit maneuver we right now we're approaching Southwest a street like he never the trooper was able to conduct a pit maneuver pushing the Honda into a wall and making it impossible for the suspect to escape the driver identified as rail kro mentioned he intentionally struck frances's patrol car Trooper franches sustained minor injuries following the crash no other motorists were harmed the suspect was charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer felony fleeing and eluding and leaving the scene of a crash with [Music] injuries we just got into yard we just on February 24th 2024 Deputy SES and the trooper were positioned on Highway 9 facing southbound when they observed a white car traveling at a high rate of speed the vehicle made a right turn onto County Road 326 disregarding a stop sign the driver then continued South on Highway 9 at excessive speeds 3 miles down the road the trooper clocked the vehicle on radar at 71 mph and activated emergency lights the driver ignored the lights and continued at a high rate of speed with radar now showing 87 mph when the vehicle turned onto Dallas 409 the trooper activated Sirens the driver continued fleeing reaching speeds of up to 80 [Music] mph oh no there go he's running back all right we made a turn we're going back towards nine going back T9 on 409 going to be a black male going back [Music] 409 going towards princ left 09 going towards Princeton clear six is he on foot negative is in a white Cadillac [Music] are you Southbound 94 we're headed George PR you went 48 yet the suspect accelerated reaching speeds of 102 mph the driver then made a u-turn at the Highway 48 and Highway 9 Junction leading the pursuit back North on Highway 9 at speeds of up to5 mph going n we're still 9 oh it was negative we just turned off a 48 Cofe now we're going back North we're headed back North on [Music] nine back North on9 going toward [Music] two what count that watch can Noy they been notified run 102 102 medal dver the driver then turned back onto Dallas 409 heading east before making a right turn onto his family's property once on the property the driver breake checked the trooper twice resulting in the patrol unit making contact with the suspect vehicle on both occasions and the driver continued fleeing through the yard we just C in New York we just made contact with we just hit him we just hit him we just hit him we're good gut donuts and some y I can't go man9 negative he's headed back the highway down the trooper advised Sergeant Ables of the vehicle's location and inquired about the use of spike strips Sergeant Ables informed the trooper that he was positioned at the highway 9 and Highway 48 Junction the suspect vehicle continued onto Highway 9 where Sergeant AEL successfully deployed spike strips making contact with all four tires despite this the vehicle continued onto Highway 48 there he is God damn it God damn it 34 that way the driver later identified as Ricky Smith a black male exited the vehicle and fled on foot Deputy Estes placed handcuffs on Mr Smith who began resisting arrest the trooper gained control of Mr Smith's right arm and the handcuffs were securely applied taking Mr Smith into custody safely the trooper read Mr Smith his rights to which he confirmed understanding dispatch was notified to have proed on route Mr Smith was medically evaluated by pred before being transported to Dallas County Jail a search of the residents associated with Mr Smith revealed pills and a small baggie containing a white powdery substance which will be sent for testing on December 8th 2024 in Northwest Miami Dade the Florida Highway Patrol was forced to step in after a black Dodge Charger SRT with no visible license plate was spotted performing dangerous Maneuvers at an intersection takeover Troopers who recognized the vehicle from a previous incident in the area attempted a traffic stop but the driver refused to pull over in an unprecedent move a trooper performed the fastest pit maneuver in FHP history 103 and 799 the occupants of the vehicle were identified as Samuel Orville 23 Christian Fernandez 25 Jeremy Alvarado 20 Isaiah dorsy 20 all four individuals were arrested at the scene and now face multiple charges stemming from The Reckless incident and subsequent Pursuit the Swift action by the FHP ured the streets were safer with all suspects now in custody
