I have medical equipment in my head that he's bashed over and over again. >> It all began when the manager of a Jersey Mike's called the police after discovering a desperate note left in the restroom. In the note, a kidnapped woman claimed she was being held against her will at a nearby residence and feared for her life. Officers quickly responded to the restaurant where they met with the manager and began gathering information about the alarming discovery. >> What's up, man? >> So, somebody just left this in our restroom. If we found out this is fake and we investigate it hard, we will put them in jail. >> The manager explained that roughly 20 minutes earlier, a man and a woman had entered the restaurant together. Both appeared to be DoorDash drivers picking up an order. While the man paced around the restaurant waiting for the food, the woman hurried directly to the restroom. She remained inside for nearly 10 minutes before rejoining him and the pair quietly walked out together. >> We get burned out. Read this. It's like a mid-size SUV. >> Although the restaurant had no parking lot cameras, deputies obtained clear images of the couple from the indoor surveillance footage. Before taking further action, investigators verified the information and checked police records. They discovered the woman had previous contacts with law enforcement involving the same man, including past domestic violence allegations and concerns from her family about her safety. >> You got a picture of her? With legal authorization in hand, deputies carefully surrounded the nearby residence identified during the investigation. >> Sheriff's office please come to the door. Sheriff's office open the door. Among those who walked outside was the woman who had written the note. Once she was separated from everyone else, investigators immediately reassured her that she was safe. >> So, I got your note. After gathering all the information, deputies realized they had everything they needed. The decision was made and the suspect was placed under arrest. The suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Jordan Williams, was charged with multiple felony offenses, including kidnapping, false imprisonment, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery by strangulation, and felony battery.
