On August 7th, 2024, officers responded to a Red Lobster for a call of a theft of services after a group of four individuals left the establishment without paying their bill. Same as at the movie theater. The description of them all I got was that one of them was wearing a white t-shirt and the other was wearing a black t-shirt. The caller just hung up on them. You got their phone numbers? What's that? They didn't pay? All right, then. No, they're they're going back in now to pay though. Okay. They walked out of the restaurant out of the restaurant blaming themselves. I went right after them, officer. >> I was coming over here and I saw all of them running and then she kind of flagged us down and was >> All right, so you only want them to do is pay? Yeah. All right, let's go. Or you get locked up. Come on. >> to go take care of the rest. Good, I got it. Let me see your ID. I'm a minor. IDs? There was >> You have to identify yourself. You you committed a crime. There was a >> being arrested, but What? There was another one with a child. All right, let's just get this taken care of. Let's get it paid for. I mean, they shouldn't have did it, but it is what it is. Thank you, ma'am. You don't have an ID? I'm a minor. Minor? That's what you're going to go with? Okay. We'll play that game. Are you Is that your daughter? No, no. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. We'll we'll we'll take you in and your mother can get you. You want to play that game? >> [clears throat] >> You you You are a minor? Yes, she's a minor. She going with her mother? All right. All right. All right, well obviously she can't be doing that, so we'll have to take her in and her mother can come get her. Who is she to you? Uh she's my my friend's daughter. She's your daughter? No, my friend's daughter. >> Oh, all right. All right. You'll be coming with us. And you want to get You can get charged with endangering the welfare of a child. No, no, I know you can. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. She's here. Okay. I got to go with them. Sit here. Please. Because Is your mom here? Tell her to come and let me over with it. My mom's changing the babies. Where? You said where? She's coming. Okay. Tell me. Hey. How you doing? And JD allowed and I guess you don't want them in here no more, right? Excuse me? >> You want them in here no more or not? No. Okay. Have a seat, please. I'm not paying for it. What? I'm asking you to have a seat, please. You just ran out on the bill. I can't question you or ask you what happened cuz you're a minor, so I need your mother here. Why are you making this so difficult? Just tell your mother to come here. I know I I I I don't want to cuz I If you're with me, I have to take custody of you, then we got to sign a bunch of stuff, all right? So, I'm not trying to be I know your mom's here, so just Hey.
